Description

Jaymie Wynters

It's a sign of greatness when you can end a war with a word and not a sword

The Basics

Full Name: Jaymie Wynters
Age: 17.5
Birthdate: October 3rd
Gender: Female
Godly Parent: Athena

Personality
ImageImage
Favorites
Color: Gold or Red
Food: Anything, but Cheese is always at the top of her list
Drink: Anything cold and relaxing. (that's drinkable so no to urine you filthy buggars!)
Music: From soft relaxing tunes to heavy beats and rock.

Jaymie is a strange individual. Sarcasm is one of her most obvious traits aside from being very charismatic with her ice chipped humour. She’s a judge to her own law and will make sure justice prevails if anyone crosses a line. She’s smart but not so much wise. Jaymie’s fond of what she calls an easy win. Being strategic is her life purpose, out smarting individuals is what she does best and an easy win is in other terms basically ‘dicking on’ someone. (Doing something the easy way to make everyone else look as thick as two bricks) Like any youth she’s a hormonal rollercoaster and her moods move within her like earthquakes move the earths surface. When upset or in a pickle she turns to comfort eating. When angry her expression will seeth and you'll see her physically swallow the violence to supress her temper.

Some could say she is lazy in combat- but this would be a ridiculous presumption. Jaymie doesn't rush head on into a battle she thinks a little first.

Similarites to Their Godly Parent: She's very strategic like her mother and has a strong sense of Justice.

History
Image

First Memory: She was in a rounders match. She couldn't run as fast as the others and was nervous about taking her turn at batting. She worked out it'd be easier if she didn't have to run and so when she came to hit the ball she propelled it back into the bowlers face. It was an uncanny hit and she celebrated it despite being told off and told to escort the bowler to the medic room with a mild concussion. Her father reminded her of this incident multiple times which is why it's in the forefront of her mind.
Relationship with Mortal Parent: Jaymie loved her father very much. They had their occasional differences like any father and daughter. Living together (prior to his sister/ her aunt moving in) they were more companions then anything else. If anyone ever asked about him Jaymie would tell them her dad was a great man and brought her up to the best of his abilities which was good enough for her.

Jaymie never really missed having a mum around. Her father seemed to fill up both categories and when he started getting tired all the time her Aunty moved in and filled the 'female' gap. Jaymie knew deep down she was different from the strange looks her guardians would exchange and at school she seemed so much brighter than all the other kids but it never occurred to her she was the offspring of a Greek goddess. I mean who would that occur to?!

Jaymie discovered she was a demi-god after her father passed. At the age of 15 she learnt of how her fathers health was declining beneath the shadow of stomach cancer. Gradually it spread to his pancreas. He passed 3 months afterwards. Jaymie's aunt remained with her after promising to be her guardian. It was a mile stone to get past. Jaymie felt even more out of place amongst her school companions. On her 16th birthday she received a letter in the post from her father.
It was a letter confessing the truth about her origins. That she was a demi-god and daughter of Athena. He had written it when he was ill and left it up to her aunt to decide when would be the right time to give it to her. It would have been unbelievable if it hadn't been from her father. with the help of her Aunt Jaymie arranged to leave for the Olympus camp and join others of her kind. Since being there she feels closer to her mother. She also knows that somewhere up there her dad is watching her too and she's doing him proud.

Jaymie Wynters

The sun shone through the blinds and cast it’s heated rays upon the fair face of Jaymie Wynters. It lit up her rich red hair and dragged the unconscious girl into the light of day. She squinted in the glare of the morning sun and rolled over with a groan.

“Gees who left the blinds open” she mumbled irritably.

Lifting her head up she glanced over at her sister Evie who seemed to also be stirring. Giving her eyes a rub Jaymie tossed her quilt away and staggered over to the shower. She hopped in and out barely giving the shower a chance to heat up. Strolling about in the nude knowing Evie wouldn’t mind considering she was still dozy Jay went through her drawers and pulled out some clothes to wear for the day. Judging by the sun it was down to be a scorcher.
Glancing in the mirror she ruffled up her gorgeous red hair and wiped away any excess makeup under her eyes with a cotton bud. Once her panda eyes were gone she popped on a new layer of mascara and left it at that.

“Boon is awaiting” she mused to herself before picking up her clutch bag that held her note book inside. Heading towards the door she called out to Evie.

“See you in a minute.”

Her stomach was rumbling something BAD and she was craving cheese like a mouse. Strolling in the morning sun wondering why she wore black today Jaymie slowed when she noticed a tray of breakfast sitting outside a room. Her stomach gurgled unhelpfully at the sight of it. With a cautious glance over her shoulder she approached it and picked up the apple sitting amongst other delicious edible items.

Taking a bite out of it she rapped on the door with her knuckles before taking liberties and moving over to the window to stick her head through.

“Hey you do know there’s a breakfast sitting out here waiting to catch flies right?”

Nova frowned when Lukas refused to get up, all the groaning and hiding his face in the pillows tugging at his heart strings. Gosh, when Luke got like this he reminded him so much of his mom that it was truly, honestly, incredibly scary. He swallowed a lump in his throat and waved away such grim thoughts - Lukas wouldn't do anything like that. "What? No brownies? I promise, they're aw-thommm." he said, but by the end of the sentence, he'd already crammed it into his own mouth, knowing that if his brother said he didn't want it, he wouldn't have it.

He nodded to himself with a mouthful somewhat absentmindedly, his mind racing on about that clock he'd just gotten to repair when he finally remembered something. He burst up again as if he just realized the other boy was in the room though it'd only been a few seconds, a short "Oh!" slipping from his mouth. He dug into his trouser pockets, slender fingers slipping in until they grabbed onto a shiny bronze chain and dragged the rest of the piece out with it. "That reminds me," he said, despite the fact that Lukas would have no clue as to what "that" had been. "I got this for you. S'got Lukas written all over it." he said. Only it actually did. Tecnically, it had the name Lucas with a c instead of a k, but Nova had engraved a line in it to make it the right letter - an easy solution.

"Thought it was nifty." he explained, plopping the thing onto the other's chest. The back of it was made of glass, so it showed the cogs and chords on the inside which remained immobile at the moment. "Figured you could probably use somethin' to do." he elaborated more before pulling out a couple of his favorite tools from his jacket's breast pocket and setting them beside the twin. For the first time since he'd remembered about the trinket, he looked at Lukas directly, smiling brightly at him. "Hey! Today's the ball, y'know. It could be fun if you get outta bed. What about Ava? And the rest of 'em too. I'm sure they'd all be real disa-" he had begun to nag before a voice at the other end of the door interrupted him. He recognized it instantly as Jaymie and he hopped up from his seat to fling the door open with a bright and sunshiny face. "Good morning, Miss Wynters. That would be for Skeleton Boy over there." he said, pointing vaguely to Lukas at the other side of the room. "Ava dropped it off for him." With that thought in mind, he turned back around to Luke. "Speaking of which, you should probably thank her for that. When I think about it, that was very nice of her." he said thoughtfully.

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

When someone made a silent and early entrance, Boone had simply assumed it to be Rhea. She had a habit of appearing like a phantom in his classroom before everyone else, which he didn't much mind at all. He looked up from his book with the smallest hint of a smile playing at his lips. He made a passive "nnn" sound to dismiss her qualms about being a burden, as if to say, "Don't worry about it." even going so far as to shake his hand lightly, as if the idea itself was bothersome. "You know it's fine, Xior. " he responded simply, cracking his neck and shutting his book for the time being, dog tailing the corner of his page. He couldn't even imagine having to wake up early in the morning and spend it with loud and rambuctious teenagers, so he was empathetic enough to spare Rhea from the same.

He sighed, scratching at the corner of his eye, remembering the agenda for the day. "I take it that you're planning on ravishing the ball tonight, then? All decked out in a lavish gown, birds flittering by your sides and placing a tiara on your head? Everything hot pink, no less." he drawled sarcastically, not taking her for the type to get all hyped up for a dance. That could have just been a case of him assuming that everyone else felt the exact same way he did, though. He tended to do that a lot.

Chloe Huntington

"Dear Fen, there is no way I could loose myself in the water." Chloe's voice was soft as she spoke to her half-brother, her eyes still closed as she drifted along the top of the water. There was no need to stress at this precise moment in time; there was nothing that could make her stress out or worry when she was in this peaceful state of mind. The water really did calm her, took away all of her troubles, and replaced them with that cool affection that could only come from the ripples. "If I'm late, I'm late." She said, a smile playing at her lips as she spoke. Boone would probably crucify her if she was late, but that never usually stopped her. He was her older brother for all sense and purposes, just without the whole "blood bond" thing. They had known each other for so long, that now she wasn't scared of him any more, as other students at the Academy were. He was a big softie really - you just had to get passed the hard exterior.

As she drifted closer and closer to Fen, she could feel the air around her growing a little tenser. Her eyes opened for a moment to examine his face briefly - he looked sad and different, his beautiful smile being instead replaced by a growing grimace. She knew that he was slightly less confident, compared to his three other siblings, as for one brief moment, he had spoken to her about it. She felt bad after that conversation, as she realized that she did "baby" him a lot, always looking out for him and protecting him, but she couldn't help it - that was the way that she felt. She was just about to turn back onto her front, go over there and hug him and ask him what was wrong, but instead a shrill voice, calling out her name hit her ears.

Instead of jumping up to see who it was, Chloe just lay there and laughed. Soon, the water was moving and bouncing all around her body, and she was almost instantly being wrapped in her best friends arms. Most people when they saw Chance, especially in a hysterical state like this, they would probably just believe that he was drunk, or high, or something. They probably wouldn't even be able to understand his insane babbling. But she could.

"Okay, okay." She spoke gently, hugging her best friend back, stroking his hair softly as he cried into her shoulder. She didn't answer his previous question, but instead just focused on his insane words. "Miss Piggy? You smashed her? Oh Chance... don't you even worry about it, okay? You're not a murderer; she was just a money grabbing pig, you know that. I've seen her steal from people." Yes, she knew that she had to treat Chance like a child sometimes, but they were best friends, and she would do anything to see that smile back on his face again. "You don't need to do anything, Chance. You got her for her crimes. She deserved it."

Luke Tricon

Lukas ignored his brother's playful voice as he shoved a brownie into his mouth, stifling his words. He didn't really care of the brownies were "aw-thomm" in all seriousness, they reminded him too much of Clover - she had baked brownies for him on more than one occasion. Of course, that didn't mean that he wouldn't ever eat brownies again, because they really were one of his favourite snacks, but for now, they reminded him too much of her. Nova didn't know this though - how could he have remembered that tiny little detail? Besides, Nova had too been making brownies since they were children. His head was still shoved into his pillow as there were a few moment of a comfortable silence. Maybe Nova had finally given up on him, and was going to let him go back into his own little dream world where Clo-- Then he started talking again. Maybe not.

He suddenly felt something foreign on his chest, and his head slowly rose from it's position, to examine it. He looked at the device for a moment, before he almost robotically removed his hands from underneath the quilt. His fingers delicately traced the name that had been engraved into it, and it was almost impossible to see that his brother had edited it, changing the 'C' into a 'K.' The back was glass, meaning that he could see the inner workings of it, and his mind began to work almost instantly, working out what he would have to remove, or change, and tinker with to make this thing work again. "T-Thanks, Nova." He spoke gently, feeling his brother's tools, his favourite ones, being placed down on the mattress next to him. Ever so slowly but surely, he moved from his almost fetal position, so that he was now sitting up. That would give his brother some hope.

However, there was soon a knock at the door, and before Lukas could start to work on the trinket, Nova was bounding over there, answering the door to Jayme Winters. She was a nice enough girl - Everlie's sister. Everlie was one of his closest female friends, which meant that he had to like Jayme, even if their personalities clashed. However, they didn't, and they were quite good friends. "Do you really think I'm going to that ball tonight Nova?" He sighed, placing his present back down on the bed, next to the tools. He nodded a greeting to Jayme as she stood there, ignoring his brother's comment about him being a skeleton. Although, that was a good metaphor for how he was feeling. "Oh, she brought me breakfast? Could... could someone thank her for me? I don't... really want her seeing me like this."

That was strange, that he didn't want Ava to see him in this state. Well, they had grown slightly closer since her departure.

Ness Tate

"I've not been feeling well recently." Ness shrugged, a smile playing on her lips as she answered her friend, who looked generally shocked at her abundance of knowledge about the ball. It wasn't a completely insane answer - that her migraines had grown worse. She actually did have a problem with migraines, she would usually get at least one a week. It just so happened that recently, "they" had to fall on Mr Hensleigh's history lessons, didn't it? Shame that. Ness knew that one day, she would have to tell Jules and Ava what had happened in her past, but for now, she was quite happy keeping it a personal secret. She would only tell them when it was absolutely necessary. Anyway, that could be never. It really was her choice.

"In a platonic way? Really?" A laugh came from her lips as she looked at Ava, her eyes filled with denial. They had spoken about Luke Tricon before, and each time they had, Ava's eyes had always brightened up a little, her eyes got slightly wider, and her voice had began to babble, her words running together. "Yeah, you just believe that, honey." She grinned, before her blonde friend quickly changed the subject to that of them getting ready together. Ness nodded in affirmation of this idea. "Sure, we can get ready together. I was actually going to ask if you could help me with my hair, before I forgot all about it. Is... is that okay? You know how hopeless I am with hair." That was true - it always had been. Then, her friend's hand was on her shoulder, gently comforting her. "Thanks..."

As the lesson dragged on, Ness grew more and more uncomfortable. She didn't want to be alone in the room with Nate any more - especially if he was going to tell her off for not doing a stupid history assignment. Her palms felt hot as she took down the notes, and she had to take a sip of the water out of her backpack as her lips and throat grew dry. The Latina was one of those girls that cried when she was told off by teachers, but only after she had left the room and was in the comfort of her bedroom. However, this teacher was different. If he shouted at her, or told her off... well, she didn't know what she would do. Soon, he was dismissing the class members, and his eyes came to rest on her. She avoided his gaze, turning quickly around to talk to Jules and Ava. "You guys go on ahead to the ball meeting, or whatever. I'll meet you there okay? No point waiting for me." She smiled, secretly begging her friends not to leave her alone. However, this was something that she had to do - She had to speak to him.

Soon, the room was empty, and it was just the two of them left; Nate standing at the front of the room, and her seated at the back. Her confidence had been shot completely now, and she was back to that innocent little mess that he had known three years ago. She cleared her throat quietly as she packed up her things, and felt her knees buckle underneath her as she stood up. Her steps were slow as she walked towards the front of the classroom, and she put her bag down on the front desk.

So, Sir," She spoke, trying not to let her voice crack in front of him, which surprisingly worked, "you wanted to talk to me?"

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

"Oh, yes, Mr. Keating, I'm sure you'll be absolutely beautiful." Peter had said. Boone framed his face with his hands and batted his lashes. "Who, me?" he asked coyly. Naturally, his joke went unappreciated because of more nonsense with his two pals. Boone couldn't help but to hold back a laugh when Amarie began to yell at the blonde man. He made sure not to voice it, because her feelings were clearly hurt and if he were to laugh while she was angry, he'd probably have been put in the same boat. "Mr. Keating, I will see you later." she had said and, mark his words, if he weren't a grown adult, he would've victory fist pumped as soon as she'd left. Instead he nodded his head and said, "Alright, have fun at the ball with Nateypoo." The fact that they hated each other so much was something that he strangely took pleasure in. Sure, he was friends with both of them but, well, he probably would have to deal with tons of testosterone possessiveness and competition (the sort of stuff that really made men look like complete idiots) if they were chummy with one another. You know, with Nathan's knack for wooing women and all.

He was brought out of his musings because a straight up lamb chop was put on his desk. Gods, he was like a joyous lumberjack from heaven or something. "Have fun today." he said and Boone remembered that had responsibilities and other dumb stuff to attend to. Then he was being told not to brood, which was good enough advice. "YEP... I'm off, I've got Z's to catch. Have a great day Boone!" Fion called over his shoulder as he strode towards the door. Boone envied him, as sleep sounded good about now. When was the last time he had a day off...? Instead of complaining about it as was his usual response, he decided to spice things up and actually respond to him in a moderately nice manner. "Go off and do all the manly, beardy things your heart's ever dreamed of."

Then that blondie girl was throwing a bit of a fit and all Boone could think was, "Class hasn't even begun yet. She was the one who got here early." He would have been merely mildly annoyed hadn't it been for her next statement. "I mean, this school is so completely pointless. The only thing I have learned so far is that Mr. Hensleigh is some 'sexy god' and that you are all a bunch of grown-up kids. It's really no wonder that there are no students in class." And then Keating was raging. No one disrespected him like that unless their name happened to be Chloe and suddenly he was having to force himself to do nothing focus on his breathing to stop himself from snapping his desk in half. He'd already started the day feeling poorly, then the miserable ball had to happen, then Atreus (who really wasn't too much of a cause for his anger, truthfully.) barged in, and Amarie got all bothered (which he felt somewhat guilty about), and now this little girl displayed her out right insolence. All of this so gods damned early in the morning meant that he was consumed with the feelings that'd haunted him his entire life. Perhaps, he noted, she'd have learned something if she'd taken the time to listen to a single damned word of what he'd said in her years of training. Cadence's education was a lot like a pig starving whilst bathing in food. Students like her made him wish he'd never been forced into being a teacher.

If this were a meager eight years ago, the feelings he had now would have lead into destroying everything in this room like he was some giant hulking beast. Luckily, now was not eight years ago, because with only a couple breaths, he'd distilled his anger til he was only kinda-grumpy. He cracked his neck and finally opened his eyes to stare at his desk before looking out at his remaining two students. "You know, it's so nice that your girlfriend comes to visit you before class sometimes, I bet you just wish that Mr. Atreus wouldn't interrupt, yeah? It would make life so much simpler. And, hey, you really have lost weight..." Peter said again. He had to admit, the boy was being outright sociable for how tired he looked. Of course Boone couldn't admit to any canoodling he and Amarie did, and he really didn't want to talk about how he was getting scrawnier with each passing day, so instead he only gave a vague and snarky answer. "You don't happen to have that copy of "How Not to Literally Murder Your Students" for me to borrow, do you?" The comment was a humorous attempt at a response to both Cadence and Peter. People who knew him could probably understand that this pleasant looking face he had on was no more than a trap- a feigned front he used in attempts to force himself to be less angry (one of those, if I tell myself I"m not mad, then I'm not mad) sort of things - but it was in this state that he was usually thinking his worst thoughts and quick to snap. He became overly charismatic - much more so than he usually was - but you could tell that it was stretched thin and tight over a giant horde of insticts geared for war and conquering. "It's a good thing Amarie wasn't around to hear that. How much would you bet she'd cry or something? Or explode? Or both?" he thought with a chuckle before checking his watch and seeing that class should begin in only a couple minutes now.

"I wonder if any of your peers will show up today." he said. If they didn't, he would give these two a hankering extra credit bonus for not being complete and total asshats. Something like a word search that'd count as a test grade and therefore would bring everyone else's grades down as well. And perhaps he'd share some cake he had in his fridge. He didn't like sweet things, anyway. He sighed. If anyone else was going to show up, they had a total of two minutes now. "I'm sure you're both aware that if they don't, you'll probably be heavily rewarded thanks to my spite." he said. It was true. He was notorious for this kind of thing, so they could have seen it coming from a mile away.

Ms. Poppy

Poppy strolled the wooded area lazily, humming a tune to herself and playing with a cigarette between her lips. She'd spent the better of the night out here because she couldn't fall into a slumber (that much wasn't new - being the child of Hypnos certainly had a lot of disadvantages in that sleep department) so she decided to go on a walk and see if she could find anything neat in the outdoors to occupy her time while everyone on campus snoozed away. Honestly, she'd been reading a lot of the work of Thoreau and and Emerson again which usually made her feel like she best belonged in a good tree, isolated by herself in the wilderness. She could picture herself and the two men hovering around a camp fire, and discussing how fantastic their facial hair was. Such a shame they were currently laying in their graves.

When the sun had peaked out from the horizon, she decided it best that she go back to the concrete and door frames, so she strolled her way towards the academy, line of smoke following closely behind her. On the way, she spotted Cadence, a student she was very fond of, slumped against a large tree, sketching to her heart's content. She looked so peaceful all by herself, so she was half obliged to simply keep walking and let her be, but then she really rather liked the things that Cadence said, so she decided coo out a friendly hello as she passed. "G'morning, Cadence." she said, small smile on her lips as she continued to walk. She didn't ask what she was drawing, because she figured that to be a highly annoying question asked an awful lot to the artistically talented, nor did she inquire as to why she was out here when class had clearly already begun. She just kept on going, disregarding all the the above until she was back at the academy. Once her feet his asphalt, she put out her cancer stick and took a sip of water from a fountain nearby.

She wanted to stop inside her classroom to grab a sweater she'd left and on the way stumbled upon Fion who clomped through the hall like he had an important mission to go to, but Poppy doubted he actually did. Fion seemed to always walk like that, like he had a purpose even as he rolled around in a field of daisies. She walked right up to him, a good couple feet shorter and about 3 million pounds lighter, and jabbed him square in the chest. "Hello, Mr. Artreus. Where are you going and is there anything lively going on there? Or food? Subsistence related things would also be great." she said, voice rough both by nature and due to the fact that she hadn't said anything other than that greeting to Cadence for hours. She didn't have class today because extravagant dances were much more important than physics, which rather bummed her out because she really enjoyed sitting in front of the class and talking. Or, teaching. Yes, she definitely meant teaching.

N O V A

Nova'd practically done a little dance when he realized that Luke had sat up. It may seem silly but this was some major improvement compared to before. "Do you really think I'm going to that ball tonight Nova?" Luke sighed before continuing, "Oh, she brought me breakfast? Could... could someone thank her for me? I don't... really want her seeing me like this." Nova didn't have the type of foresight to pick up on any subtext to his words, or even deduce there may have been a little romantic tension between his brother and the beautiful Aphrodite daughter like the rest of the school already had. He was far too dense to see anything more than a platonic connection between two friends. "Yeah, yeah, she's working on the ball today so I'll be able to tell her then. Wait..." he said, letting the words sink in, "Oh poop-pants, I'm supposed to be working on the ball right now!!" he cried out, bringing his hands to his face and smacking his cheeks together because he'd forgotten. He quickly swiveled around and grabbed his brother by the shoulders. "Listen, Luke." he said, moving his face around to make sure they were looking each other in the eyes no matter what. Even if he closed his eyes, Nova's gaze would probably have worked like lazer beams. "Feel better, today. Extra better than when I normally tell you that. I love you." he said very seriously which only made him seem more ridiculous and silly to outsiders. But he meant it with all his heart!

And then he was scurrying out of the room, giving Jaymie wave. "Sorry, Jay, I've gotta go! I'll see you guys later! Try to get to the ball; it's gonna be tons and tons and tons and tons and tons of fun!" he cried over his shoulder before he'd swung open the door and ran to the great hall. On the way there he saw Ava. Remembering his promise, he shouted, "HEY AVA, THANK YOU!" but he failed to mention why he was thanking her or the fact that it was supposed to be from Luke, so it was probably just confusing. He didn't realize that, though, because he was so hell bent on getting in there and helping out with the dance. He'd been looking forward to this for so long. Dances were just so magical and fancy. It was like a night destined for fun, whether you went alone or with a date or a group of friends. It was halfway there that he remembered Jaymie was also working on it with him and then he felt like a big old doofus for leaving her behind, yet he continued nonetheless.

He burst through the doors and finally slowed his pace. He was terrible runner so he wasn't going very fast to begin with, but how out of breath he was wouldn't show that. He looked around the room and then immediately went from looking exhausted while he was panting to brightening up and smiling at the work they'd done so far. "Wow." he cooed before spotting Blitz across the room and jogging over to her, the sloppiest grin painted across his face. "Blitz, this is remarkable." he said, eyes wide and bright with excitement. He didn't manage to get a look at who else was here today due to his incredibly linear mind, so Fen and Jules' dancing along with Mr. Hensleigh's laughing went unbeknownst to him. Instead, he wiggled in front of the blonde girl. "How can I be of service today, Cap-i-tan?" he inquired.

Chloe Huntington

"I know you didn't mean to, honey." Chloe's voice was soft and calm as she soothed her best friend. She could already feel his mood lightening as she stroked his hair, and soon, he was back to smiling, being the happy Chance that she knew and loved so dearly. "When did she steal my money?" She acted shocked, pulling away from him and opening her mouth in a feigned "o" shape. "I'm glad you smashed her then, Chance! What would I have done if you hadn't have smashed her! Thank you." She grinned, and gave him a friendly peck on the cheek. Every day was different when Chance was around; no one day would be the same, with his range of highly strung emotions. She had seen Fen sulk off into the background, and she felt bad about ignoring him, taking preference over Chance instead of her brother. She'd make it up to him later.

Then, she was suddenly being splashed with water by a large dog - one that could only belong to one person; that one person in the campus. Malcolm. Chloe sunk a little lower in the water as the handsome male came into her view, trying to hide whatever of her body was showing, but she couldn't stifle the laugh coming from her lips at the antics of the mongrel. Soon, Malcolm came into view, and he began to strip off, the brunette trying to hide the blush that was haunting her face. She had never seen him half naked, and she had to avert her eyes quickly, before she let herself become more obvious. She let Chance answer the boy, and added in her own little addition at the end of the sentence - "Morning, Malcolm."

Lukas Tricon

Luke could only laugh as he watched his brother's face drop in horror, as he realized he was missing the meeting for helping out with the ball. His brother's was comical, and the twin was almost watching it in slow motion. He just nodded as he ran out of the room, shouting back an "I love you" back to him. If anyone had heard the twins talking, who didn't know them, they would have probably laughed, or scoffed at their open affection. But to anyone else who did know them, and who happened to be listening, this was a normal declaration from them. Even in the state that he was in right now, he would still tell his brother this. How lovely their relationship was. The teenage boy sat there awkwardly for a moment, and looked at Jayme, biting his lip softly. He then heard his brothers voice shrilling out towards Ava, shouting a thank you. At least he remembered.

He sighed before putting the trinket back down on his bed next to his brother's favourite tools, and excused himself from the red-haired girl in the door way. His legs almost felt weak as he climbed out of bed, and slowly made his way into his adjoining en suite bathroom. He showered, and dressed himself in the clean clothes that he could only assume that Nova had to have ironed and left out for him, before staring at himself in the mirror. He looked nothing like he had before - his cheeks were withdrawn, his eyes were void of colour and emotion, and his hair was a mop on top of his head. He tried to push it into some sort of style, but it didn't go, even after he had been washed, so instead, he just left it the way it was.

Wearing a plain white top with a blue shirt pulled over the top, and a pair of light blue jeans, Lukas decided to head out for his room for the first time since his beloved Clover had departed from the Academy. He passed through the doorway, closing the door behind him, and his first reaction was to shut his eyes. It had been ages since he had left his room, and the sunlight practically burnt him. He made his way quickly around the red-head, feeling bad for just leaving her there, but he felt that he had to go somewhere. Without thinking, he made his way towards the main hall, where everyone had been gathering to help with the ball tonight. As he walked through the door, he saw Ava struggling with some boxes that looked heavy, and he moved forward to help her, although he wasn't quick enough. He flew forward over a wire that was on the floor, and ended up face first on the floor.

"Erm... hey, Ava."

Ness Tate

Ness almost felt the little jump in her heart when Nate said that there was going to be a private between them. She laughed once when he said that they had some catching up to do - it was true, they did have some things to catch up on. They couldn't ignore each other any more now, after what had happened in the classroom between them - there was no way that she could go back to how she acted before. She could see something in his eyes though, something that he was holding back from her, not telling her. She knew that she was being stupid, and naive, thinking that there would be anything between them, but she couldn't help but hold on to that feeling of hope that was filling her body. She knew that he wasn't in love with her, and she wasn't in love with him. Neither of them had been in love with each other, even in the past, but she had serious feelings for him. She just wanted a chance to let them develop, and show him, that was all.

However, then, he avoided her gaze, and she felt all of that hope practically drain out of her. By averting his gaze, she knew that everything she had dreamed that could happen between them was just that, only a dream. She too looked the other way, out of the classroom door, trying to avoid looking at him in any way possible. "I... I understand." She spoke softly, the sweet and happy tone in her voice being replaced by a more distant and hurt one. Ness sighed, realizing how stupid she had been by kissing him, and she bent down to pick up the fallen things from her bag, trying to remove any reminder of what had happened, and also, to just give her something to do. She knew it was her fault, for initiating this again, for causing him to kiss her back, and she felt terribly guilty. She didn't pay much attention to him after that, barely registering the brush of his lips against her forehead, ignoring the tingles that he sent through her body.

Her eyes gazed at the paper on the desk, the one that her "teacher" had asked her to do before the ball. Her hand shakily picked it up, and her eyes grew wider as she looked it over. It would take her more than her few free periods to complete it. Everyone else in the class had a week to complete it, didn't they? And on the night of the ball too... was he trying to make sure she missed the ball or something? Ness let out a sigh from her lips as she angrily shoved the sheet in her bag, heading in the same direction of Nate. She knew that he had tried to be nice about it, tried to save her feelings, and she had almost believed it - until he had forced that piece of homework at her. She walked into the classroom and headed straight over to Jules and Ava, completely ignoring the man that she had just had an intimate moment with. She did acknowledged though that the playful, flirtatious smile was already back on his lips, and this time, he was pointing it at her best friend. She knew he was in earshot as she spoke, malice filling her voice;

"Hey girls, don't worry about coming to help with my hair later. I'm going to be late to the ball. I have to finish this assignment before the ball tonight, when everyone else had a week. I might not even make it. I feel like I'm being punished, for just being me." She sighed, knowing that her friends wouldn't understand the last part of her sentence, but the beautiful history teacher in the room would.

She then turned, and made her way back to her cabin, hoping that she would be able to get there before she burst into floods of tears.

Luke Tricon

Luke could see that Ava was extremely happy with him coming out of the safety of his room; the large, goofy smile on her face was enough to give her away, added with the slightly shocked looks that she kept giving him. He saw the look of realization in her eyes as she understood why Nova had screamed at her earlier, and that smile came back across his face once more. It was nice seeing her properly again, with the sun coming in through the windows and lighting up her blonde hair, her smile, her eyes. It was nice. Those little butterflies started to arise in his stomach again as he spoke, but he pushed them aside, listening to what she had to say next.

The blonde boy hung on her every word as they walked through the door, nodding as she spoke. It was nice, hearing that someone else had problems in this stupid Academy too, no offence to Ness of course, but it was - it took his mind off of his own troubles, relieving himself of that hole in his heart for just one, perfect moment. "Really? She said she wouldn't come?" All the girls had been excited about the ball for weeks - he could hear them chatting about it going past his room, and he had heard Ness doing the same. He hadn't heard if she was going with anybody yet, but there were usually some girls that went on their own to this ball-type things. He just didn't think her to be one of them. His mind was quickly drawn back to the conversation when Ava asked him if he was going to the ball tonight. He had planned to; there was a tux in his room, waiting to be worn for such an occasion, but he hadn't really though about it, ever since Clover had left. He frowned for a moment, thinking it over - should he go to the ball? It would take his mind off of everything? But he always went with his Clover... his girlfriend... but he needed to get over her.

"I'll only go if you come with me. Y'know, as my... date."

Robert Devaux

Robbie smiled at his reflection, taking a brief moment to check over his outfit. It had taken him about an hour to get ready - doing his hair, choosing the perfect clothes to reflect his mood and the weather, and to then rally himself up for the day. Robbie had his own routine of always waking up at a certain time, always meditating at least twice before he left his room (once as soon as he woke up, and once before he left), and then actually getting ready. If he didn't do it in this specific order, or at the specific times, he would feel 'off' for the rest of the day. He had been told by some people before that he could have OCD, however, he just didn't see it - he just liked to be perfect, feel perfect, and look perfect. There was no harm in that, was there?

With his normal "skip-in-the-step" attitude, the boy stepped out of his room wearing a classic outfit for him - the traditional black pants, converse, smart shirt and waistcoat that he thought "wasn't too much for just day wear," no matter what anyone told him. The boy was lucky enough not to have any lessons today, meaning that he was completely free. His first stop after he had left the room was the gym hall, to look for his best friend. It was a respectable time in the morning, and Alex would probably be wherever Jules or Blitz was - meaning helping out for the ball. Ah, the ball. There was only one girl that he wanted to ask to it. One girl that for him, shined above all others. Well, Cadence was a close second, and Jaymie a near third, but still - she shone above all others. But she had a thing for someone else, as Alex had told him over and over again. Well, maybe he could change that. Suddenly, he bumped into someone, ripping him out of his little reverie of dancing with the girl of his dreams. He hadn't even seen that he had been walking along the same path as two other people, but he paused for a moment as he looked up at the brunette girl - the one he had just been thinking about.

"Hey Jules!" Robbie smiled happily, wrapping her in a quick hug, before turning to the teacher walking by her side. "Mr Hensleigh." His voice was less happy now, and a hint of malice ran through it as he took in the man. He was such a pig. A beautiful pig, but a pig none the less. "Oh Jules, I was wondering if I could talk to you later? You know, when you're done here. I'll be with Alex, most likely, but text when you're done?" He smiled once more and then excused himself, changing his direction completely. Alex wouldn't have let her leave the auditorium without having stopped them. He made a bee-line towards his best friends dorm room, and let himself in without even knocking.

"Alex! Alex!" He cried, jumping onto the sleeping boys bed. "Wake yourself up, my friend! Guess what son of a female dog I just saw walking off with your sister. I'll give you a guess - he's about six foot, blue eyes and flirts with all of his students."
