Through his search he found information on the camps, why they had started and who by. He realized that it was just one large experiment that had failed from the beginning and was continuing to kill lives every day. Kuen was ashamed to know that the camps were split into sections. What the people of Raz'ira empire knew was completely wrong about the camps. They were not just prison cells, they were torture zones and experimental areas that killed many people. Most people didn't even know of the Death Isle that the camps had, which were just mounds of dead bodies dumped on there small islands that were never used by the Casta country to begin with. He was disgusted with everything that he was learning. How could people be so cruel? He hoped that his parents were still alive, it sounded like they would not last more than two years in this type of environment. Hopefully, he was not too late.

A long overdue stressful sigh escaped his lips and he ran his hand through his hair. It had been so long since he had seen his parents and with this research he may never see them to begin with. His prayers were never answered for their safe return, and now he believed them to be long dead. But he would not stop until he found out himself, he had to know the truth about his parents and possibly even put a stop to the Sin's operations within the Casta Empire.

Kuen glanced down to the page that she had indicated. It had been a long time since he had seen her face and name in a book, but it had not surprised him that he would find her in this one, for she was one of the main power sources behind destroying the magi's almost a hundred or so years ago. "That is Vera." He told her, his voice holding a hint of sadness as he spoke her name. "She was the queen of the underwater cities in the ocean to the far southwest." The man's eyes grew more distant and pained as he thought about her. "She did not believe in what the magi's were doing, and after one had betrayed not only her but her trust, she turned back on him. Beginning a war that should have never started, and ended with the near extinction of one species... magis."

Kuen suggested they get going, and Kiri nodded, hesitantly moving forwards towards the beast. She knew it was silly to be scared of it, but she just wasn't used to them. And this particular one could easily crush her, if it wanted to.
"O-Okay then...let's go.", she answered him, hating that her voice betrayed her fears. She had come here for adventure, but it seemed that she was getting into something much deeper than she had planned.

Shaking his head, the dark haired man let the horse go to graze in the grasses near them before looking at the the Shadrin fire that the demon made. He was happy to see that he chose a wood that produced a dark flame instead of a bright one, but was not happy that it was Shadrin. Some people reacted poorly to the dark demonic wood, though he doubted that Kiri would be exposed to it like a normal human. Her magic should keep her safe from the deep poisonous dreams Shadrin could produce.
"Kiri..." Kuen held his hand out to her. "We will came out near Perch, away from the demon and his wood." He said, his voice staying calm but untrusting. He waited for her to take his hand before drawing her in close and walking out a far distance to be in the open next to Perch before beginning a spell that made a tent for them both to sleep in. Though the tent was very deceiving, being that it was small on the outside but was as big as a two-bedroom town house in Raz'ira.
