Having planned on pestering Dillon to stop at the beach from the get-go, Chandler doesn't need to change into her bathing suit. She's wearing board shorts as pants, and beneath her simple T-shirt is a bathing suit top, of course. The young woman grins over at Dillon when the girl makes a comment about Chandler's American accent, which still comes out through her acquired British one now and again. "We can't all be perfect British Ladies- right Lulu?" The athletic young woman addresses Lucky, who is just now coming out with her bikini on. Lucky, like Chandler, comes originally from the states. Of course, she's a West Coast girl, whereas Chandler comes from Texas, a state known for being big and, more often than not, diehard Republican. Of course, she had been raised by a British father, to be fair, and so her accent had been a lot slighter than other people, because her parents didn't have the strong accents.
"I dunno, Landon- you guys have pretty attractive head backs," Chandler comments, her smile cracking back through the feigned solemn expression once more. The young woman interweaves her fingers behind her head, rolling her neck because it has grown stiff from being in the car for far too long. While this road trip is going to be interesting, if nothing else, she does hope that they won't spend too much time in the car, or else she may just stiffen up like an old tree or something. If it comes down to it, Chandler is perfectly willing to try her chances at laying on the roof, gripping madly to the railings on each side. Actually, to be honest, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. She's done it before, although that was on a country back road, and it was fun, if a bit dangerous and a bit hard at times.
Lucky doesn't even have to finish her challenge before Chandler's expression has lit up at the sound of competition. Before she's even named the stakes, only having said 'last one in', the young woman is darting forward, pushing past everyone else on her way to the ocean. For a bit of foul play, she pulls off her shirt while running and tosses it into Lucky's face. "You're on, twinkle toes," Chandler says, accepting the challenge a bit late, as she has already run into the water and dived straight into an oncoming wave, coming up with soaking hair and a grin on her face. "First!" she declares proudly as Lucky splashes in after her.
"You stick to singing, Lulu- I'll stick to athletics," Chandler says with a grin, almost ironic because she hasn't really stuck to her sports- only to keeping herself in shape and occasionally playing around. Having won the race, Chandler comes out of the water, pushing hair out of her face with her hand and looking around at the beach and beach goers. She rolls her shoulders back and turns back towards Dillon and Lucky.
