Hairviu sat high in the grand palace of clouds that he had made. It as a place apart from the divine city, whirling and hardening the clouds to alls and floors and ceilings, bending the light with fragments of rain so the furniture appeared to be of the deepest wood. Nothing there was as it seemed, but yet it did function that way. He had given himself an oath after the sixth time he was about to restart it that he would not leave until it as complete. That did not mean that he did not look down on the world below nor did it mean he had not listened in on the meeting of the gods. Their words were carried distantly by the winds of the sky to his ears. Looking down on all that happened beneath the sky he saw the heroes of gods gathering below watched how they ran to danger and thought to insulate them from that threat. He would give them each a tool a gift befitting the quest that they would undertake.

Looking down from above he found they were in the city. Arriving there would be to obvious for him. Once the Demigod of Duels, his face was well known by those in certain circles from several high profile duels. Still looking down the others had shown a willingness to take a risk they would need the tools to survive. As Rey made her way out of the city and into the deep forest he waited only for her to be out of sight of the guards. The odd smelling winds of the high blowing down to the ground before her, hooking around a tree they became a god. Hairviu's wings flared as he appeared before the beastkin. "You have been sent on a dangerous mission. I have no champion to aid you, but please accept a gift may it keep you safe from the harm you find yourself in."

He reached back and called to him the armor he had made since he meeting. A full set of steel armor breastplate, shoulder pouldron, arm guards, leggings, and boots. It even had gauntlets, but if one were to inspect it they would see slits for the claws to be able to extend through. It lacked a helm for he would not want her vision obscured. The armor was sleek to look upon, clearly unused. "It was crafted of air and on the night of the full moon it is light and will bend with your movements. It will feel to you no more restrictive than cloth and will protect you more than any leather. This gift I offer that you may succeed in your quest." He continued to hold it out in offer to her as he stood straight and tall.

Kana Na-Ahn
______________________________________________

Kana noted that Rey likes to move fast. "Fair enough," she thought. "The faster we go, the better." With one last nod towards the roof where Tir'Ish lay hidden, she took off in the direction that Rey left in. Earth elementals have excellent endurance, but they are not exactly fast. Even though she was fairly unaffected by the flash of light, it still was nigh impossible to keep up with the beastkin.

Kana lost sight of Rey for just a moment. When she got back in view, there are a strange figure standing beside her off in the distance. If groaning was something that Kana did, she would have done so. They did not need another "mysterious person" to make this journey even weirder. Was it so hard to grab some basic supplies and go investigate some swampland? Apparently so. With some apprehension, she pressed forward towards Rey and the figure.

Everything was safe for now. No attacks in sight, nobody hurt, and Hairviu was apparently making the rounds. Tir'Ish smiled, noted the nods from Kana, then dissipated into mist. Maintaining a physical form was exhausting, and he wanted to keep his stamina up just in case there was trouble when they finally left the city. So, he floated calmly in the direction of the gate, watching the proceedings below. This was slightly more interesting than he first thought it would be.

Creep

"Well now you have. I have never seen a fellow with so many bugs before. Do they eat you?"

"Regularly I suppose though it depends on how you look at it." He answered frankly, not really dressing his answer up yet still not giving a particularly informative response.

"W-Well! With that business over with, lets talk while we walk to the forest! I have music to comfort us while we walk!"

The girl who's name was Carissa as he had heard earlier in the conversation with the creepy lady who lurked by the dead body in the alleyway mentioned as they continued along towards the gate.

Aw, how sweet. I wonder what business such a friendly little lady has in the forest He wondered, charmed by her youthful innocence.

"That does sound quite good. I can't say I've ever heard harp music before. Most bards tend to go the route of the voice or the lute. I once saw a fellow play the xylophone once though" He spoke casually as they continued on whatever destination this lot was on. He refrained from mentioning that the xylophone player was in fact a small humanoid lizard creature, a member of a swamp dwelling tribe of similar creatures. They had nasty temperaments and often came to blows with any neighboring species, including farmers not far out from their lands. Case and point: The xylophone was actually just somebody's rib cage repurposed into an instrument.

As they started getting into the fields he was receiving some strange reports of distant lights from some crickets in the area. Something about big bursts of pretty lights, information which wasn't exactly helpful but then again these little fellows were doing their best. Rich descriptions were mostly made by humans, most creatures caring little for relaying information.

As the masked lady got ahead the earth lady made started speeding up to catch up to her. In the distance he could see a fellow or was it a couple fellows? It was really too far to see right now. Could of been both. He waited 'till he got closer to get a better look.

As Carissa began to walk along with the group, Creep soon talked about music and with that she grew a smile and seemed exited. "Yeah! Not many people use harps because its usually an instrument reserved for concerts and the like. Since it usually is big and massive making it a chore just to lug it around. I was lucky as mines was a magical harp which can turn big or small for easy transportation or for smaller crowds. I just like the harp because of the sweet and slow music it can produce." She spoke with renewed vigor.

Of course as they continued to proceed she could actually hear very faint talking up ahead. Maybe a couple was here enjoying a peaceful lunch in the woods! Or maybe it was a pair of bandits! She wondered what was ahead. So instead of trying to continue conversation she decided to stay on the quiet side.

Rey froze as the sudden gust of wind brought a scent to her nose and the leaves of the trees rustled as the branches swayed in the breeze, this was enough to snap her attention above her. What she saw astounded her, the winds assuming the shape of a winged man no, a god. Her eyes widened, for such as her who had, in her mind, lived such a lowly life from a lowly breed, to be suddenly greeted by one from up high was staggering.

A gift for me, she thought as the God of the Skies and Battle spoke to her, and soon presenting perhaps the most well crafted armor she had ever beheld, and by the sound of it, was such an elaborate process. Most of the armor she had seen before, to be honest, was from other beastkin that was little more than leather and scraps of metal, but she felt this god's craft would be difficult to contend.

"Thank you, you... honorrr a lowly one as I with... such handiwork unrrivaled," she responds with a bow, taking the armor into her arms, being certain to be as courteous as possible as to not be rude, despite her doubts of her own worthiness. She is, after all, fully aware that she is still but a beastkin, a race known as cutthroats at worst and thieves at best. She looks in shock at the gear, raising her head to be sure she was actually holding it as it is, indeed, light. Not only light now that she gives it a more thorough study, it is more than well crafted, but well crafted specific to her. Bashfulness aside, she takes another deep bow. "You honorr me greatly."

Hairviu listened as Rey spoke. It was clear to him by the time that she had begun that she as awestruck to be addressed by a god. Standing on the air grandiose in his pose he let Rey take in the armor that he had given to her and examine it. He took a certain pride in his work and though there ere certainly pieces far more than its equal in the realm of the gods he as happy to hear that his workmanship. He too could tell that the woman was uncertain about something and so he sent her off with a blessing. "Go with your awe, seek what you would seek, and find that which will bring you honor."

He then looked to the next person as they appeared. The earth elemental sent there. Her weapon he had thought was an odd choice a short blade worked well for the strong in a shield wall, but on her own it was not the best weapon of battle she could have had. Hiarviu moved a hand behind his back and when it came forward, it held a long Testubo. It was clear to any that knew about craftsmanship the Tetsubo and the Armor were forged a world apart. "For you I grant a weapon. One that can channel the strength needed to make a difference. I offer you this The Ruin of Mountains." He held the heavy weapon out for her to examine.

Along the length of it could be seen The portrayal of three great deeds the first as a giant clasping the end of it and using it to slam huge stones flying at the shore back into the sea. This formed the isles along all the shores. In the center is a image of how it was used to hold apart two mountains. The third portrait was that of a man spending day after day, knocking open the door to the gates that blocked out the sun. The weapon there in offer to the earth elemental as she approached.

Kana Na-Ahn
_______________

This god was very different from Tir'Ish. Whereas the god of energy was simple, straightforward, and unassuming, this god had the pose and aura of majesty. Kana wasn't fazed, but certainly awestruck. Today has been considerably more eventful than previously thought. Silently, with only a brief hesitation, she took the weapon offered her. It was elegant, strong, and had such an intricate design which surpassed anything she had before seen. Testing its weight and design, she held it out in front of her, horizontally, in a defensive type of pose. It was better than any blade she had yet wielded.

"Thank you," she said. "This is beautiful. Why the gift? And who are you, exactly?" While she could sense that he gave off the same signature as Tir'Ish, Kana had never heard a description of this particular figure. Unfazed but curious, she looked him dead in the eye while asking her questions.

Tir'Ish Na-Ahn
___________________

Tir'Ish watched the proceedings below, and saw the gift bestowed to Kana. "Much gratitude for your gift, Hairviu. It's good to see you," he projected by thought towards the god, remaining well above the proceedings in his mist-form.

Creep

He nodded, listening on to her discussing her love for the harp's music. He could hear the talking going on in the distance as well, noting that Carissa went quiet so as to not alert any listeners. He looked around and also noticed that the other two had separated from her, going off somewhere.

Holding out his hand a cricket jumped into his palm. From it he got several impressions of the people it saw in the nearby forest.

"Szshe szays that two who werre wearring cloakzs were recievvving thingzs from a winged man." The ear wig put the cricket's message into words Creep could understand.

He looked over to the direction he could hear the talking coming from. There was more however.

"Szhe alszo szays that therre arre szevvverral beingzs also speaking not farr off." The ear wig continued. He couldn't know just who was talking but given how weird things were happening he was prepared for the unexpected. He continued on, his newest acquaintance presumably accompanying him as he continued towards one of the groups of people talking.

Hairviu watched Kana as she looked over him first a good sign that she knew to judge an opponent before accepting something from them. When she took the weapon and held it it would be solid. elegant, but possessing a great amount of weight to it. that weight clearly much of its purpose. the weight was well distributed, however, to be called nothing less than perfectly balanced. Hairviu stayed where he was as she spoke to him his bearing that of general, both tall and strong, both formal and caring.

"You are welcome. It is beautiful and the gift is to aid you in what is to come. While it is hoped you will not need it it never hurts to be prepared for battle should it come upon you. As for who I am. The patron that sent you here is my peer for where we stand I will say no more on that, just know that what he sent you to do I am here to aid you." His words done being spoken, he gave a nod to Kana, though its speed and depth seemed to suggest that it may have been an acknowledgement of the thanks give by Tir'Ish.

Carissa was the next one to approach, the final of the three that would be sent out to go and discover the root of what was growing. One chosen by Edna. She had been anxious to enter trouble to aid another her compassion the firs characteristic that had been made clear to him. For that he thought about which gift he wished to give to her. She leapt before she looked so what good would eyes do her. he decided on the gift that he would bestow upon her just as she arrived. His hands making a small portal, he reached through it and pulled out a pair of white gloves holding them out to the woman as she approached. The material is white, but it seemed fluffier than silk, thinner than cotton they weighed almost no more than the air and felt like there was nothing at all there when held. as the light passed through them it left rainbows in odd patterns on the other sides of them.

He extended his hands down to Carissa when she arrived offering the pair to you. "And for you I offer these cloud-weave gloves. you will find with time they have all manner of uses." they gave nearly complete control over the air around the gloves for a few feet around her. It could be compressed to bend light in all manner of patterns or channeled into gusts. The manners they had been used were astounding in their number. Without practice though, they were far less useful. "Be sure to stay true to your task. These will bring you wonder well into the days to come."

As the group carried on, Carrisa soon encountered a new person. Hairviu. She looked at him for a good minute trying to remember when she saw the man...she knew him from somewhere...A really important man..."Oh! I know you! You are Hairyiu, The God of Sky and Battle! Pleasure to meet you!" She smiled as she gave a short bow.

Carissa watched as Hairyiu opened up a portal in his hands and pulled out a pair of white gloves. He then offered the gloves to her, a pair of cloud-weave gloves. As she accepted the gift with a smile she was already liking the gift. It was so soft! And so light! It even made rainbows! "Thank you so much! These are so beautiful! They would do so well when I perform on stage, or even dance! Thank you Sir Hairyiu!" She excitedly spoke as she carefully put on the gloves.

Her first instinct was to spin around with her arms in the air, letting the light hit the gloves as she spun around a rainbow was formed above her. However instead of it being stationary it twirled with her. She had aa smile on her face and looked up at the colorful display the rainbow created. This would really make her pop out more during a performance.

After finishing her rather sudden solo dance, she blushed a bit before speaking. "Anyways...thank you for the gift. It was very thoutful. I wish you the best. However I must remember to stay vigilant, we are on an adventure for the Gods. Again thank you." She bowed again.

Haiviu looked on as Carissa seemed to look at him quizzically. When she did recognize him he was not terribly surprised. "A pleasure." He said, a slight bow of his head toward her. It did please him that he was known, what was more it pleased him that she was enamored with the appearance of the gift he had given her something that would bring her joy like that. As she continued to smite them even going into a very simple dance, a little fun twirl about, one just to explore the tool that she was given.

When she finished, he gave her a smile, yes there are quite beautiful and have a most dazzling effect. Do not forget to practice your control over the local air. He lifted hiding up and flapped pushing himself up into the sky sending dried fall leaves up into the air. Taking hold of the wind, he pulled the leaves around him. Grabbing each lesson its own little current off air, guided them to whirl around him spiraling around him on their tiny currents. As they closed in on him, the kaleidoscope of colors began to organize themselves. Green to yellow to red, the colors organised into swirling stripes. The leaves got tighter and tighter around him until the closed into a sphere. The leaves sealing for just a moment before blowing out and fluttering to the ground. Where Hairviu once was, only gifs voice remained. "Go with my gifts and my blessing. May the sky hold over your peaceful times.

Creep

He just sort of stood by, watching on as the three strange humanoids went forward and received gifts handed to them by some sort of... God? He couldn't remember the fellow in the slightest, there wasn't many he'd recognize right away even if he'd met them before.

After the man was finished distributing goodies to the mortals he flew up, turning into a rainbow of sorts before disappearing whilst leaving his little goodbye message. Creep mostly just stood by, hands in his pockets.

Guy really didn't notice me just standing here huh?... I must be really unremarkable. Not surprising. He thought to himself, just kind of looking at the quirky scenario before him.

He might not of been the sharpest blade, metaphorically speaking, but he could listen well enough to know they were on a mission for the gods. That fact was also not surprising. He was usually prepared for unusual things to be the result of some god or goddess screwing up or acting strange yet again. That way he could still be pleasantly surprised by genuine oddities. Then again there were also those times were genuine oddities took to being gods themselves. Those were also disappointing.

"So I see you're on a quest for the gods." He opened, hopefully making himself heard once again to the three who seemed to forget his presence. "I hope you won't leave me to keep guessing the goal they set you?"

He cast a glance over to the person who was now revealed to be a beastkin who had changed into her armor over in the shrubs. "Hm, a beastkin." He muttered under his breath with a curious note. What god could she belong to I wonder...
