When Rai stopped seeing Crystal's Attract, the whole mind thing wore off, but for some reason he had control of his movements! Rai violently shakes his head, as if that would keep the mysterious force from entering his mind again.

Rai looks up happily, about to explain what had happened, when he saw a giant Shadow Ball heading for him, sparking with electricity. Instintivly, Rai uses Iron Tail on it, causing it to shatter into a shower of sparkles.

He holds out his hands. "Yo yo! Please stop!"

((Actually, I had a whole plot, where Riley's father, Lucario, would knock out Rai and explain what was happening up North, due to the fact that he was spying on them. Then Rai would once again be controlled by the 'mysterious force', which would be Jynx and Froglass, and kidnap Crystal and take her to the head of Dark Rai. Now, however, I'll edit it to fit what we're doing here, and Dawnfire07, can I c/p Hydra's profile for the Dark Rai profile? She can be part of that. And that's okay 'bout Hydra being raised with Rai))

Shade stopped and loosened himself up, before tensing again. "You got 2 minutes to talk kid, or you're going in the water." Shade snarled. But he quietly sat down and waited for Rai to speak.

Rai rolls his eyes. "Oh, I'm so scared of WATER! Whatever." He didn't mean to be saracastic, he just was sometimes. "But I wasn't in control of my body, okay? I couldn't help myself!"

Shade growled and had to hold his tongue to bite back a remark. "Do you want to be heard out or not?" He snapped. Shade stood and bristled.

"I just told you!" Rai exclaimed. "I. Wasn't. In. Freaking. Control. Of. My. Body."

Layne shook his hands in a 'cut' motion and said, "This isn't gonna solve anything. Something was possibly out of the ordinary, I won't rule that out, but fighting like this won't settle anything..."

He sighed. He didn't want to change the subject, but he did want to relieve some of the tension. "Can I invite you all to my place for some dinner...?"

Thunder's ears perked up. "Dinner?" He blinked then grinned widely. "Of course we'd like to go!" He threw a shocked Crystal on his back and dragged Shade indignifiedly by the tail. Nothing could stop Thunder when there was food to offer. He was a total sucker for it, since he was practically always hungry.

Rai took a step back. He really shouldn't. He just needs to leave. "Sorry, but I'm out." He goes and starts to walk away. Then he turns his head back around once. "Crystal, don't follow me. I'm leaving this place."

"Rai!" Crystal ran forward but stopped, finally accepting his desion. "Fine." he spat. "Go o ahead." Se padded off the beach and was about to disappear into the forest, but froze. Crystal turned. "See you back at the guild. If you ever show up again." Them Crystal ran into the woods.

Shade elbowed Thunder and received an "Oow!" in return. Shade let out a sigh. "We'll be going." Shade ran after Crystal, Thunder hot on his heels.

Layne popped his neck as everyone basically except for the Riolu (and Croagunk if he's still around) left. Layne sighed and sat back down on the log facing the ocean, as the sun set out in the sky. What was the point of all that? Layne didn't understand. He didn't try to stop anyone from leaving. Rai obviously had some....soul searching or something to do on his own, and the others, obviously didn't wish to be bothered.

He popped his neck once again. "So much for dinner..." he muttered to himself.

Riley:

(In mind) Daddy? Is that you?

Yes darling, I'm finally coming home......

(out of mind) "Yay!" Riley, after not really moving, jumps up and down. "Daddy's finally gonna come home!"

Rai:

Rai heard Crystal's comment and froze. Did she honestly think that he was going to go back to the guild after what just happen? He snorts with laughter and contiunes to walk away. "Yeah right!" Rai calls out over his shoulder, not caring if Crystal heard or not, "Forget it! I'm leaving! For good!"

Crystal ran into the guild, trying to forget what happened. Somewhere along the way she had made friends with the eeveelutions. Crystal walked up to Chatot. "Chatot... Rai has left the guild. For good." Chatot widened his eyes, then sighed. "Such a shame. I saw potential in him. I guess I'll have to make you a new team. Maybe you'll get that 3-member team you wanted I remember a chimchar wanted to join. Perhaps you could pair up." Crystal thought, her head low. Finally she shook her head. "No thanks. Do you mind......... Could I be on a team with them?" She asked, pointing to the suprised eeveelutions behind her. Chatot nodded. "I feel bad for the chimchar, but if you wish, then so be it. That reminds me, you missed something while you were gone. What would you like your name to be?" Crystal slanted her ears, deep in thought. Then she perked up. "How about Team Soul?" Chatot smiled approvingly. "Good choice. As for your newest mission, I can see your new teammates," he said pointing to Shade and Thunder, "have much experience. So I will give you a dangerous mission. Your newest mission: Infiltrate the North, and figure out what's going on. Don't fight what you find if you can handle it. If anything happens in that cold place, run back here as fast as you can. I should be giving this to a older, more experienced team. But I want to see what you can do. I sense something special in your aura. Very well. You will leave at the first sign of dawn." More darkly, chatot added. "Good luck. You'll need it." Crystal gulped as he walked away. She turned to the eeveelutions. "Well. I guess we should rest for tomorrow right?"

Lucario:

Lucario felt bad for not locating his daughter as soon as he arrived in Treasure Town, but there were more important matter in hands.

When he arrived at the Guild, he was about to look for Wigglytuff and Chatot, but he spotted Chatot talked to a group of an Eevee and Eeveelutions. Then before he could call Chatot over here, he left.

But did he hear Chatot telling that group to go investigate up North? Well then, he thought, I now might have some backup here.

"Hey!" he called out to the group. "Come here for a second."

Rai:

Why am I heading up North? Rai thought to himself. Everyone's always going on and on about how bad and evil everything is, but what exactly is going on up there? Rai starts running up the path, towards the mountains in the distance. Perhaps Miss Jynx is still living in her cave. Perhaps she can give me answers. There's nothing evil about her.

Shade:

Shade perked his ears and glanced sideways at the Lucario that had called them. He narrowed his eyes ad nudged both Thunder and Crystal, pointing at the Lucario with his tail. Shade slowly trotted over, taking long strides without difficulty. "Yes?" Shade's voice was friendly but cautious.

Thunder:

Thunder followed Shade, wondering what the Lucario could want. He sat down about a yard or two in front of the pokemon. 'There's not many Lucario around here. Last time I saw one was about half a year ago. Now that I mention it, this looks like the same Lucario. Wonder what he's been up to?'

Crystal:

Crystal happily bounded over, bouncing the whole way as if she was hyper. Crystal was feeling a bit overly-energetic though, so the interpration wouldn't be entirely wrong. She sat next to Thuder and wrapped her tail over her paws. "Hi! We're Team Soul, how can we help you?"

Lucario wasted no time getting to the point. "I just heard from Chatot that you three are going up North. Well, I just arrived back from up there, and I was coming here to see if I could recieve some help up there. Would you three like to help me?" He looks at the Jolteon. "Hey, have I seen you before?"

((OOC: okay, I'm going to make a resistance group, and so far I have 6 people in it: Deidara the Flareon, Temari the Espeon (normal color), Hinata the Leafeon, Harley the Delibird, Shino the Furret, and Kiba the Growlithe. I'm going to definitely play Flareon, Espeon, and Leafeon, and I was wondering if any of y'all wanted to play the other 3. Plus, on the evil group, I wasn't planning on playing the Froslass, and dawnfire07 has dibs on Hydra for she made her, so if anyone wants to still add to the evil group, they can, and y'all can add to the rebel group as well.))

Thunder looked down. "Go to the North.... Well, since we are going the..." Thunder looked right at the Lucario. "We'll do it. Oh and as for seeing you before, I saw you around here when I was still a kid."

((OOC: Oh! I'll add a Shinx named Spark and a Skitty named Cloud to the resistance group.))

Lucario nods. "Good. Get ready to leave. As soon as you're ready we'll move out. If all goes well, we'll get to our destination before nightfall."

((Okay, sent me their profiles, and I hope you don't mind me having an Espeon, but I was thinking that maybe Crystal would want to hang with her or something.))

Crystal nodded. "Alright." She turned to the eeveelutions next to her. "Let's go to treasure town to get ready, guys." Crystal bounded away, then turned back grinning. "Well? You guys coming?" Crystal ran outside laughing as the eeveelutions chased after her.

Lucario watched as the young team ran off to go get ready. He had refreshed his supplies before coming up here, so he was set to go. Waving good-bye to Chatot, Lucario leaves the Guild and waits by Spinda's Cafe. The sooner they set out, the better.

Rai stumbled into the icy snow, and struggled to get back up. This blizzard came out of nowhere, but it was a sign that he was getting closer and closer to where Miss Jynx lives, so that was good.
After a few more moments of walking through the howling winds and snow, Rai tripped and fell again. But this time he couldn't bring himself to get up. That battle earlier and the fact that he didn't eat breakfast this morning, were all weighing down on him. Closing his eyes, Rai fell asleep, and the blizzard raged on.
