Introduction
So, you know? The world of Pokemon! All happy and cheerful and good! Orrrrrrrrr....is it?
Maybe there are some corners you just shouldn't turn. And when you are forced to take them...well, it was nice knowing ya!
So, this is what happened. You lived in some region, doesn't matter what region, and one day, you became old enough to be a Pokemon Trainer! However, when you arrived, the lab was already closed. It was out of starter Pokemon to give out. Maybe you had hopes there would be some tomorrow, maybe you were angry, maybe you were upset. Either way, you went to bed without a Pokemon...
However, when you wake up the next day, you find yourself not in your bed. In fact, you wake up on a beach of a lake completely wet, in some sort of strange land. A land you don't recognize, with trees, bushes, and mountainous rocks that makes it easy to get lost in. However, that is not everything. Around your right wrist is some sort of band, with a strange stone that resembles an Everstone that you cannot take off. You then find yourself face to face with a Pokemon, wearing a strange band as well it also cant take off. Somehow, you feel a link...a bond with one of them.
However, the peace is soon broken when you hear voices. These voices do not sound good...they sound as if every word they uttered, deep inside they were screaming for mercy. The Hunters. They hunt specific Pokemon, the Pokemon that have a special bond with their Pokemon. However, they are not like normal people. It might seem like they are normal, and they can act like it, but in truth they have been drained of humanity. They wear Corrupted Bands.
What happened? Who knows. You have awoken in an unmapped region is what you can guess. The Hunters themselves were once bonded to Pokemon like you. But then, their Pokemon were taken to some strange place and killed. A place called "The Sealed Ruins". Not fainted, killed. The Pokemon were drained of all their lifeforce and power, in part to open a portal to a realm. The Hunters serve an entity attempting to open the portal. The entity itself is a mind. A mind that survives through minions, hunters, and artifacts in this unmapped region, but its body and real power trapped beyond the portal. The unmapped region is the most recently discovered region, and is not that settled by people. It is also one of the largest, and has the most challenging terrain.
You have no Pokeballs, no Money, no supplies, nothing but whatever you were wearing when you went to sleep and a random Pokemon you sense as if you have known your whole life.
Oh, and the Hunters that are trying to take you and kill your Pokemon. The only Pokemon you have to get through this region. Without that Pokemon, you are all alone to get through a region that is one of the largest, and one of the hardest to get through. Between perilous cliffs, rushing rivers, and forests filled with who knows what, you will need to be extremely careful.
You wanted a Pokemon Journey. Well, here is the most dangerous one yet. One Pokemon, you are being hunted, and you have no money and no supplies.
Good luck!
The Bonds: If your Pokemon is hurt, you feel the pain. Although you cannot speak the same language, it is almost as if you have a unique understand with your Pokemon, allowing you to communicate. You know what your Pokemon feels about something.
The Pokemon: In this region, Pokemon from all regions are present. Additionally, if you are up to the task, you can find drawn pictures of other of or draw your own Pokemon to add to the region.
Your Bonded Pokemon: This Pokemon can be the first form of any starter from any region, a Pikachu, a Riolu, the First form of any small bird Pokemon, Abra, Ralts, or a Maril.
The Hunters: They wont try to kill you, but they certainly wont care if they hurt you. However, they need to kill the Pokemon first at the Ruins, so they cant kill you first. And once you lose your Pokemon like that, you yourself feel like you were drained of your lifeforce, and become something without humanity.
The Entity: It is a malicious entity. It was once a being, and while it was not a Pokemon, it had great powers. However, it grew jealous of the bonds between Pokemon and Humans, and eventually wanted humans to love and worship it instead of Pokemon. And so, it began to kill all Pokemon. To stop it, some of the most powerful Pokemon fought it, giving their lives to seal it away. However, they could only seal away its body and most of its powers, its mind persisted through Artifacts it made some humans it had corrupted make. These Artifacts allowed it to torment the Pokemon who was responsible for sealing it away, until it too no longer was capable of keeping its mind and remaining power in check, and died as well finally from the Artifacts. However, because of its gap, some inner power was released into a ghost form of it, which is forced to find people who have no Pokemon yet, but are ready to go on a Journey, and bond them with a Pokemon to let them destroy the Artifacts.
If all the Artifacts are destroyed, The Entity will be completely sealed away forever, and The Hunters will get their lives back. However, the portal only needs the death of a few more bonded Pokemon. Maybe even just one more...
Character Sheet: All you need is a description/picture, the Pokemon you chose, and maybe a bit of a background or personality. That is all you have anyways.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 5 authors
That is when he heard the voices. "I think they are over here!"
Jamie didn't wait or the others. He just bolted, right then and there, with Squirtle bolting right behind him. He didn't want to find out who they were, and something about their voices scared him.
A tiny voice got his attention. "Eevee!" it said shrilly.
He woke up almost instantly to the sound of someone running away. He looked around, afraid and confused as to where it was. He seemed to be on a beach somewhere, not in his bed. His first thought that he might be dreaming, but it felt too real.
"Eevee!" The voice said again. Luke's eyes fell upon the Pokemon. It was looking worriedly up at him, but gave a quick glance of relief as he focused on her.
"w-wha-" Luke began, but then was cut off.
He saw another boy bolting through some of the underbrush, and then the sound of far-off voices made his blood run cold. For some reason, he knew that these voices were dangerous, and he should not stick around for them. Panic was rising inside him as he breathed hard and desperately jumped to his feet, almost tripping as he did. The first thing is he spotted two other kids near him, who were unconscious. He didn't want to leave them here.
"Hey, you two!" Luke shook Elysia and Devi. "We gotta go!"
So many thoughts rushed through his mind. Where were they? Why were they hear? Why were the voices so scary? Luke had heard of Team Rocket and other such organizations, could it be them? He had to stop thinking of these things before he started to panic and perhaps pass out.
As they sprinted through the forest, the voices became more distant until finally they were unheard all together. Still, Luke ran to be positive, even though his lungs screamed and his veins pumped battery acid. Finally, after he was sure they had escaped, he slowed to a jog and eventually a halt, hands on his knees talking huge lungfuls of humid air, which only irritated his throat more. For the first time out of the madness, he was able to think about his situation. He slunk down against a tree trunk in disbelief, his eyes wandering into the distant blankly. He wasn't sure of anything right now, he could still just be in a nightmare. He began to tremble; a mixture of fear and adrenaline. Luke was unsure of what to do.
But first, he made his first big mistake. He ran as fast as possible in a direction, when he knew nothing about an area. So very soon, he found himself tumbling down a hill he did not realize was there. The squirtle came up to him and nudged his hand. "Squirt, why are you following me?"
It seemed happy, for a moment, as if it wanted to follow him. Jamie, not hearing the voices of the hunters at the moment, looked at the Squirtle. "I am probably going to call you Squirt. Squirt, or Shell. Actually, Shell sounds better".
it seemed happy with this name. He looked down at himself however, and realized tumbling down that hill while wet made him muddy. If he had known he was going to get kidnapped last night, and dropped into a lake, he would have worn something more water friendly. However, all the clothes he was currently wearing were not good wet at all. In other words, he would be uncomfortable, unless he found someone with a fire pokemon, a fire place, or a change in clothes. Or all tree.
He stood up, when someone ran right into him, though he did not see who...
She skidded to a halt at a steep, muddy hill, and, stooped over, pondered how to get down, Treecko copying her pose. Finally, she shrugged, straightened up, and jumped at the hill. For maybe five seconds she managed to slide down the incline on the flats of her shoes, Treecko clinging to her arm, but after that she slipped and fell on the seat of her pants, spinning in circles now and out of control.
At the bottom she slammed into someone, knocking him over. "Ow! Watch where you're going, moron!" Devi grumbled from the ground, rubbing her head. "Who're you?" she asked, looking up at Jamie.
"I-I'm sorry about that; the rude awakening I mean. What's your name?" he asked the girl.

He hadn't noticed the stream before, he kinda was busy falling and being ran into, before he looked back the way they came. "Well, kinda wish I had known to wear shoes to bed".
Jamie began crossing the stream. At one point, the water was as high as his belly button. However, he made it across. When he turned around, he noticed one of the other kids. "Quickly! We need to get across! There is a cave over here!"
"Rain? How do you know? Where I come from, it's cloudy 24/7, yet hardly ever rains. But whatever..." Devi sighs and looks the stream over, spotting a few stones sticking out of the middle. While Jamie wades through the cold water she carefully picks her way across the slippery rocks. She nearly falls, but Treecko catches her and sets her back on her feet. "I didn't need your help, but fine, help me if you want," Devi mutters, stepping onto the other side and going into the cave. Treecko makes a sighing noise and follows.
As he finished dusting himself, his hand ran across his other wrist, where something solid and heavy rattled against hand. Confused, he peered down and saw it for the first time: a metallic bracelet with a glowing red light. It looked pretty sinister, so he tried to get it off. It wouldn't budge so he pulled at it even harder, but it still wouldn't come off. It seemed to be stuck on his wrist for the time being.
He then peered past his wrist to an Eevee at his feet. It was still with him. I wonder why? Luke thought.
He then noticed the Eevee had the same thing he had on his wrist, though it was a color around its neck. "A-are you okay?" he asked it.
"Eevee," the little creature nodded.
"A-are you... my Pokemon?" Luke asked.
Eevee hesitated, as if she was surprised by the question. Then she nodded.
Luke took a look at Elysia. "This is getting weirder and weirder."
They were Pokemon.
However, as Jamie went further into the cave, he tripped on something. He turned around to see what he tripped on, and it was human bones. "Uh....uh oh".
There was a small bag next to the bones, and with the human bones, there were sets of smaller bones. One of them had a distinct Pokemon look. Jamie inched away from the bones.
Very soon, an "Unknown" Pokemon appeared behind Jamie, seeming in the same shape as the symbol. It bumped right into Jamie.
Jamie turned around, startled, as the Pokemon flew into the wall, and the cave wall seemed to...open...revealing a mysterious ruins that cut a path straight into, and possibly threw, the mountain.
Treecko walks up to the tunnel, looks it over, and heads right in with no hesitation. "What're you doing, you little git?! Come back here!" Devi yelled, racing into the darkness after her Pokemon.
