Introduction
WARNING: This is very long, and only worth reading if you’re really interested. You can also skip this part and RP very well without having read it.
It’s the year 2025. The whole world has tried to send spaceships into the most faraway locations of outer space, with decent results. But the great world powers want more: they want good results, outstanding ones! Decent has nevr been enough. After some discussions, a conference was called in, in which the great powers of the world united to see what should be done. An accord was taken after weeks of discussions, and the project “Explorer” was initiated. The purpose of this project: the creation of a space ship larger than every other had been until then, manned with robots.
Why robots? A logical question. Well, that is because thanks to the technological advances of 2025 the AI (artificial intelligence) has reached the point that the great technologically advanced countries could create a metal human, with the ability to think, talk, learn and live like a human, with the only difference being its heart. And why should they spend horrendous sums on the training and payment of fragile human astronauts, if they could instead put resistant, hard-working, free and cheap-to-produce robots into their superb space ship?
The accords taken in Project Explorer involved the hiring of the world’s most advanced technological industry, Johnson Industries, a recently founded, quickly uprising organisation owned by the boy genuis Andrew Johnson. Millions of documents, including TOP SECRET databases from the big world powers such as astronomy, military technology, UFO investigation and many others, were sent to Johnson Industries to be used on the creation of the space ship, which would be named The Explorer, and the robot crew. The result was a Leviathan of a space ship, a Monster in comparison to which Space Shuttles were mere flies, equipped with the most advanced existing technology ranging from Teleporters to Light Speed telecommunication systems to Hyperspace propulsors, and a robot crew of robots that basically were humans in a robotic shell according to their intelligence and autonomy, but much better in physical terms. On the brains of these robots were then saved thousands of precious data, including scans of clasical and modern literature, music from Beethoven to Eminem, geography and history of Earth, and everything a kid learns at school. After that the robots were loaded into the Explorer (they were not activated at that time, that would only take place once they were out far enough), and the space ship was launched into outer space.
Once the distance was high enough the robots were activated. Most of them, known s the Automatons, were simple-minded robots designed to clean up the space ship, repair broken parts, analyze samples and data, and generally everyhting else that would allow the actually important robots, the Explorators, which were the ones with human-leveled intelligence and various data in their brains, to do their tasks without having to bother about maintainance.
The Explorators are robots that explore the planets that the Explorer flies by or lands on, collect samples, take photographs, and send reports back to Earth. These are then shared between the participants of the Explorer Project. However, outside their working time, the robot’s intelligence allows them to do whatever they want, even having fun.
And that is the point where YOU come into play. You can incarnate any of those Explorator robots (I guess playing an Automaton that always cleans the WCs is too boring), and go on adventures. What will you do? That’s your choice.
----------------------------------
THE SPACESHIP
The Space Ship, known as The Explorer, is a generation ship, which meas that it is not designed to make a trip with a set target, after what it returns to Earth, but instead to fly on and on, as long as possible. Generation ships for humans have agricultural sites, forests that renew oxygen supplies, water and food that is recycled through natural processes, and animals which live alongside the humans, to create an ecosystem that is as perfect as possible. To create gravitational force that keeps the space ship as if it was on Earth, it constantly rotates around its own axis. Like this humans live in an environment that is close to completely equal to that on Earth. But since only robots inhabited the ship at first, the Explorer started off with a very basic ecosystem to keep some animals from Earth in, however the robots expanded it, to keep alien creatures in it and also for them to live in.
The Explorer has many storerooms with spare parts designed to repair the ship, but occasionally new robots are built out of these parts along with the materials collected durig planet visits. The robots have also built in many features that are useful or for fun.
To protect itself from meteorites, micrometeors, possible attacks and other eventualities it has a force field which surrounds the ship like a bubble. If robots patrol the ship outside the bubble they are also surrounded with a mini force field to protect them. The default setting for that force field is to make the parts that collide with it transdecend (that they cannot touch anything) until they are on the other side of the bubble, to let them pass through the space ship without doing damage. The planes and ships, as well as the robots that are on the Explorer (such as for flying to a nearby planet) can pass through this bubble without becoming transdecend, so they can land in the hangar again with no problems. With special teleportation technology samples and beings from planets can be brought on the spaceship without becoming transdecend either.
On the offensive side, the Explorer has various cannons that can shoot physical projectiles, energy blasts, and various others, to destroy incoming meteors or counter attacks from aliens. They are rarely used though. If used, a Gunner or Cannonier robot controls them normally.
Information on the Spheres
The spheres are the different ecosystems built by the robots. They are separated by half-visible force field walls. If a robot tries to go through such a wall he will be warned and asked to confirm if he wants to go on. Like this it is avoided that robots accidentally enter a sphere that is dangerous to them, without wanting to do so.
Additionally all spheres can be accessed with lifts from the Main Zone, which is the part where corridors lead to most parts of the space ship, including the Commando Bridge, the Cantina and the Quarters.
Biosphere
The basic place where most beings on the Explorer live. The Biosphere is an imitation of Earth’s overworld, with mountains and hills, rivers, canyons, cliffs, lakes, an ocean, grassy plains and various others. Some farms run by robots also are here. Most beings from Earth or caught in other planets to make research on them or to keep them as pets are living here.
Pyrosphere
Located below the Biosphere, the Pyrosphere is extremely hot. There are many magma rivers, bubbling magma ponds, cavern mazes and rock everywhere. Some beings that come from extremely hot planets live here.
Cryosphere
The opposite of the Pyrosphere, the Cryosphere is extremely cold. Everything is frozen up, and only thick-furred or creatures resistant to cold survive this environment. Many beings from cold planets that have been caught by the robots inhabitate this place. The Cryopshere is on the same level as the Biosphere (polar zone) or one level above it (on mountain tops).
Hydrosphere
The waters of the Explorer. The Hydrosphere begins at a depth of ten meters, be it in a lake or in the ocean. Most fishes and fish-kind live here, including beings caught by the robots on planets that are filled with water or have watery zones.
Stratosphere
Starting at an altitude of 30 meters above the nearest piece of solid ground, the Stratosphere is home to most birds and bird-kind beings. Some of the robots have also built flying islands with the advanced technology and materials of other planets.
As the Stratosphee is located 30 meters above the nearest piece of solid ground, that means that a robot climbing a mountain will most probably not enter it, unless he starts doing paragliding or parachuting, in which case it may happen that he enters the Stratosphere for some time.
Cantina
Actually, this place is a cantina, a restaurant, a bar and a café at the same time. All robots regularly come here to buy a refuel. The Cantina is managed by Rocky, an Automaton Robot that has the skills of a waiter, a cashier, a cook, a manager and a barman at the same time. If one stands in fromt of Rocky he will automatically activate. He has saved the following quotes: “Good day, Mr./Mrs./Ms. (name of the robot). May I take your order?” – “Okay. (he repeats the order). Is that correct?” – “(if incorrect) Oh, I am very sorry. Please repeat your order.” – “(If correct) Okay. Plese be patient while I process your order.” – “Here you go. That will be (amount of Robocoins according to the command) please.”
Note: The Robocoins is the currency of the Explorer. Every robot gets regular payment that is equal to the money he needs to supply himself with enough fuel (is calculated when he is built), plus a bonus according to the work the robot does. The harder it is, the more he gets paid. The bonus can be used to pay for any service just like on Earth.
Quarters
The robot’s quarters. Every robot has his own. They are like a small chamber which the robot can change at will, to make his own little space. He/she can also buy more space for Robocoins.

THE ROBOTS (suggestions by me)
Multiple Characters are allowed if you want. You can also create a single character that holds more than one figure.
You can choose to play any of those, it is just a suggestion. Feel free to invent your on character if you don’t like those.
-Gunner/Cannonier
-Fighter
-Lab Robot (extremely intelligent, is not an Automaton)
-Animal Carer (such as an apiculturist, or someone which keeps pets)
-Chief robot (like a commander, or sub-commander of the ship)
-Alien from another planet
