Introduction
Peace comes quickly to you along with a dream of a vast forest where everything's green and beautiful. You walk along, and suddenly trip. It ruins the feeling of perfection, but you're fine. You get up and move on.
The air starts to thicken and an ill wind starts to groan through the trees. The roots of trees behind you start to slither forward. YOu burst into a run and the roots chase after you. Thorns grow to form gaping rows of wooden teeth. With the sound of wood splintering and breaking, the thing roars behind you. The air gets thicker and harder to breathe and you're gasping.
(continued below)
Suddenly, you notice a white wooden door standing like a sentry. A light's on and the woods behind it look too thick to escape whatever's behind you....

"Take that!" she exclaimed to the nothingness, her feeling quite accomplished of herself. She giggled and fell over onto the grass, partially from exhaustion, but partially out of glee. The young-appeared girl grinned and giggled as if what had just been happening to her, never happened. She had little memory of how scared she felt, or why she was exhausted, only that she was being chased by something and had now bested it by bravely chickening off. Surely, Chiru was the strongest.
After rolling around on the ground, wallowing in her victory, she noticed something. She didn't care to wonder where she was, this darker place, but a certain grand centerpiece made her curious. A tree, a glowing tree, one she felt rather attracted to. She stood up and was slowly pulled toward it, her bare feet moving without her realizing it, her eyes accepting the spectacle to their full capacity. It felt very, earthly, homely, dare she thought, friendly. Without her realizing it, she was no more than a few feet from it, it's glow the only thing she could see, with the exception of one thing.
A human, or so Chiru assumed at first, a human boy, was simply standing in front of it. He seemed to be at peace and within his own world. Of course, Chiru had to speak with him. Approaching him, her toes supporting her entire body on the stone ground, her smile grew brighter and brighter, untill she was right up to him. She reached up and tugged on his jacket. "Hel-lo~," she chimed, "What's your name~?

Re: Rules of the Damned
Well, first would be the obvious. What exactly is going to happen in this RP? It's set up with the intention of being either an free-exploration or an adventure RP, but really, none of us other than you really know what this world is about. We can't be as clueless as our characters, so we need to be able to know what we're writing about. Basically, I really want to know what exactly the plot is, for it doesn't seem like you've written one, and also, we need more details about this place. In an adventure RP, we need to know exactly what the plot is and what the goals of the protagonists are and at least hints about the obstacles to come. A free-roamer should at least tell us of obstacles to come and possibly something that would effect character interaction, and possibly give every character different goals so that they want to wander at a different direction, to the point where eventually the remaining protagonists have the same goal. You can either describe the world or say that it is endlessly possible. And then there's sandbox RPs, where a descripted setting is given and occasionally a beginning plot, but beyond that, the story is shifted only by the characters, where the uniqueness, backstories and goals shift the entire RP through interaction, unlike adventure where the RP moves along a plot and it's obstacles, and I guess free-roamer is a mix of the two.
The only type of RP I could imagine giving the amount of information you did would have to be a darker and more ambiguous free-roamer, where neither the characters nor writers have any clue what lies ahead of them, where as it moves on, hope only seems to fade for the lost and clueless characters, where the plot rides mostly on a character's emotions, and most of the characters would have been innocent ones or never felt pain before and had never had regrets or bad karma, nor any emotional preperation for what would happen to them. The setting is often endlessly possible with restrictions and emphasis on what harm could come to you, or it's just a description of hell, and is usually in a fantasy land, such as a dream/nightmare, such as in this RP. There's always a fifty-fifty chance the characters survive and make it out, the other possible outcome being the characters will die, succumb to their sins, face eternal torment or become forever transformed, commit suicide or become lost forever. Of course, such a dark RP type needs literate and experienced writers/RPers, keywords being "literate and experienced".
Also, I want to know, does reality take place in a more modern setting or a fantasy setting, because the RP stated there were multiple races, so I assumed it took place in the latter, but the other characters give the impression it takes place in the former.
And also, I want to comment on the writing skills of the other RPers. I came in with a decent profile, unsure if I would be good enough for this seemingly 'prestigious' RP when it came to literacy, but I find that the other entrees, eh, aren't as detailed as mine, and they seemed not quite as literate or as I said, prestigious. I'm sorry, but with the amount of effort I put into my profile, I feel kind of irritated to see not just half, but two thirds of the profiles with minimal detail. I'm sorry, but I'm just really not-so cool with it. And though I haven't properly reviewed your first post yet, but seeing that it's no more than a short paragraph long, and that nothing has really happened besides your character touching a tree, with no obvious call to action, I don't really think that you're the most experienced RPer here. So yeah... I'm going to keep RPing anyway, but, I really want to see more potential in the RP, or at least that if anybody else joins, they will be at least a moderately experienced/educated writer/RPer, and please don't mind if I constantly criticized people's writing, but I'll at least give advice for improvement.
