Introduction
Our story begins in Vale, at Beacon Academy, where some of the greatest Warriors are trained.
"My young students," a man in a green suit with silver hair speaks at the center of the dias a solemn look upon his face, "it may not come as a shock to many of you that the Grimm encounters a have reach an all time high, that we as huntsmen and huntresses are needed now more than ever. Dealing with these beasts will not be easy, but if you rely on your teammates and what you learned here you will be able to succeed and survive on your missions. We believe in you and thank you for your hard work and dedication to this cause. You are now full fledged huntsmen and huntresses." The man says as he raises his cane into the air, rallying the new generation of graduates to a massive timber and setting them loose upon the world.
"Are you sure of this, Ozpin?" a man in a white and grey suit and a long grey trench coat asks beside him.
"I have never been more sure of this group being the ones who will turn the tide of this situation, but we must all believe in what they are doing and they must believe in themselves as well, James."
"I hope that you were wrong with how bad things will get." a woman says as she hands them both cups of tea.
"Glynda, we mustn't fear the Grimm, they will use it to their advantage, and that will be detrimental to all the kingdoms." a short plump man says through his massive mustache.
"Ah, Professor Port, Dr. Oobleck, you have both arrived right on time, we have much to speak of." Ozpin smiled as he turns toward the door leading to the mainlining of the auditorium.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 10 authors
A slender girl with wings and a tail strolled into town. She had a look on her face as though she were searching for something. Some people stared as she passed by them. After all, faunus like her were extremely rare and even fewer went out in public.
"I really need to find just the right subject...hmmm...too tall...too short...excessive facial hair...far too many piercings to be acceptable...wait!" She paused as she saw a young woman in her work clothes, about to enter a staff entrance to a restaurant. The alley was dimly lit by the sun and was perfect for the snake to trap her prey. She walked up slowly, dragging her hand along the wall and leaving a thick trail of slime. "Excuse me, miss. I wanted bother you for some of your time,"she said politely.
"I'm actually rather busy and my shift is about to start. So I really can't help you right now,"the woman said as she reached for the door.
"I don't believe I said you could refuse." In a flash, Azuru struck like a snake, ensnaring the poor girl in slime as she let out a scream. A grin spread across the snake-girl's face. "I think I'm gonna being using you for testing for a looooong time...perhaps....we shall start by seeing if a human can survive with their entire skeletal structure moved outside of their body,"she said, pondering each word.
"Booored," Tyrus whined out his complaint...not surprise sense he hadn't talked with a 'normal' voice for years At this point, one could say he'd developed an overly expressive voice that could convey his every feeling with nothing more than tone... even though it messed with how he should sound. In emphasis of his boredom, the brute flung his fist onto the ground...inadvertently causing a bit of damage in the process. However, rather than simply storming off to do something Tyrus decided to follow a different impulse.
"Story time, I'm going first cuz I ducked outta the whole heart-to-heart thing during first year." Again that childlike tone unsuited for his large body loudly made its proclamation. In a way, this was his way of trying to level with his team while simply killing time.
" Uh... so you guys know I grew up beyond the walls- specifically in mountains beyond any real natural protection. Is funny really, because my tribe was really just a bunch of loners that pooled together only to help raise cubs. Life's always on the move and death be it in the form of sickness, starvation, the cold or even a freak accident was a constant companion. So like all cubs, I was examined and measured since the tribe couldn't sustain more than ten cubs. Eh to be continued, who else wants to go exploring?" It wasn't Tyrus suddenly closing up again so much as he figured getting up and about would prove more interesting and help eliminate the weird atmosphere in the house.
Rolling on to his back he began his tale. "Well, some of this Indie and Bron already know but I think it's time for me to be completely honest. I grew up outside the kingdoms aswell, my family moved all over Remnant, helping set up camps and mobile villages for the White Fang. My parents helped found it, actually, but as things within the party began to take a more warped turn the tried their hardest to keep it civil, until one day, a man in a white trench coat and a woman in a red dress showed up asking questions and making demands, my father tolds them that neither of them wanted anything to do with murder or theft, they were leaving the White Fang. The man was upset, but the woman silenced him, and said they would return in a few days to hear their desicion. My mother told me that night, that if they do come back, that I must hide in the closet as to not be seen." Arian said staring up at the ceiling through his hand, "They returned three days later, I hid, and they were invited in. I don't know what all happened while I was in there but I heard loud arguing, my name being said, then I heard two shots" He montioned as if he were holding a gun, "'BANG, BANG' then two loud thuds, a wicked laugh, and the woman saying to the man, 'Torchwick, what a mess you have made of things, I guess I will have to clean house.' I could smell smoke and tried to get the door open but it wouldn't budge. I was trapped and honestly believed that that closet would be my tomb, then a beaM fell out from the ceiling pinning my arms and truly trapping me." He said as tears began to well in his eyes. "I guess I passed out and someone rescued me, because I came to in the Beacon Academy Infirmary, with Ozpin sitting at my bed side. My arms were completely bandaged, but only some minor cuts and bruises, and a few fractures. Ozpin invited me to join the school after my recovery and then I met you guys. That's my story!"

Flint loved the smell of fire. Something about its primal beauty, how it helped to create as well as destroy, called to him. He loved how the smoke of fire looked, sunbeams lancing through the grey smog spiraling up from the ruins of the village he had just overrun. A few Beowolves were fighting over the limb of a child, and a young Nevermore was pecking at the charred remains of somebody's dog. Flint was finally starting to feel cathartic about Sasha's death, having begun the war he had warned the children of. The village had received no warning as the Grimm had swept in through the night, tearing every building to splinters and gravel. The Goliaths had finally taken his side after the first village had been razed, and had been the main assault force behind the fall of this village, their massive bodies smashing walls apart like those toy bricks he'd played with before he'd gone over to the Grimm, and were now currently off doing their own thing until Flint called upon them to do battle once again. He saw some rubble move, and before he could even make a motion to order his troops to seize it, a pair of Beowolves, Tink and Tank he had named them, had already grabbed the survivor, a young girl with short auburn hair, and brought her to his feet. Rubbing them behind their ears as a sign of appreciation(They really did love that, to the point where Flint was curious as to whether they should be classified as cats.), he kneeled down to the girl, no older than eight, and noticed that she hadn't been harmed by any of the Grimm in the assault, as if she had Flint's gift as well.
"*sniff* Mummy... I want my mummy..." the little girl cried, and Flint, for a brief second, saw the Grimm around them soften the way they carried themselves, proving that this girl did indeed share in his power. He spoke to her, his voice soft and calming.
"Little one, be brave. Your mother died protecting you so you could grow up to be strong, and to cry now would be to dash those dreams. I am Flint. And until we meet somebody who can give you a better life, I'll make sure your mother didn't die in vain." He honestly had no idea who her mother was or what she had been doing at the time of her demise, but it was better for the girl to think of her mother this way, as a hero rather than whatever else could have been. "Can you tell me your name, little one?" The girl sniffed back her tears, than meekly responded.
"C...Cereza..." Flint smiled gently, and then lifted her up, called over one of the Ursa, and then placed her on the bear's shoulders.
"Well, Cereza it is, then. Let's find you a better life." Flint said, walking towards the next village as the Grimm began to follow them.

Flint and Cereza were walking together through the town, each for differing reasons. Cereza hadn't been able to salvage anything from the wreckage of her town, and so had to get new clothing, while Flint was scouting the town to plan for that nights invasion. Cereza was already aware of who Flint was and what he did, but had chosen to stay by his side so she could learn about her own power. The two had just finished off the sweets Flint had gotten them when the shriek echoed through the town. Cereza had taken off for the source while Flint was in the middle of stuffing a Turtle in his mouth, and so he had no choice but to run after her, sliding to a stop when he saw a snake Faunus ensnare a waitress, cursing the fact that he'd left TAOS with Tink and Tank outside the borders of the village, near the war camp. {Well, no mind fogging today.} he thought to himself, standing tall and taking a fighting stance. "Cereza, get back to Tink and Tank and tell them to bring Taos, they'll understand." he said, taking a barrel and smashing it so he could take the metal rings and bend them into a makeshift staff, which he pointed at the snake faunus.
"If anybody is destroying the people of this town," he said as Cereza ran off, making his aura begin to pulse around him, "Then it's going to be ME." He waited for her to say anything, just so she could monologue like he did, and waited defensively, paying attention to the slime she had already laid on the walls. This faunus was probably smarter than him, setting a trap like that. But STRONGER... Well, he'd be the judge of that.

Indie bit her bottom lip. She of course trusted her teammates with anything but she had never ever talked about her past with anyone. Not even Ozpin got the full story.
'Well....' She said finally. 'My turn....I came from a village far far away from here. And it was small. Like only fifty people small. But everyone knew each other and cared about one another. And my father and I were the only Faunus there yet no one ever treated us different. Everyone was so nice and I was basically the baby of the village. Most people were old and their kids had grown and left. Still I loved it. It was paradise.'
Indie swallowed hard and stared into her lap. 'Then uh...Grimm came. I was young and didn't know what they were. My father and the other men and women went to go fend them off. Me being the youngest I was sent away with my mom until the fighting stopped. And well....eventually my mom knew they had been gone too long so she when to look...everything was gone. Crumpled to pieces. When I went back to say goodbye you could still see bodies everywhere. And all because they felt the need to protect me.' She coughed and let out a shaky laugh.
'So my mom and I moved away and I heard about Beacon so I figured it was the best way to keep inocents from being hurt again. Then you boys came in and I got a second family. And....that's it.'
Bron approached the area where the noise came from, and saw some sort of snake-like Faunus, along with Flint. Great. Bron's hand started to reach for his earpiece to alert the others, but he stopped. He's not going to get them hurt again. He took a deep breath in and exhaled. "Alright Bron, here goes round two." He quietly muttered to himself. Bron quickly, and quietly slipped down towards the two, making sure he wasn't noticed by Flint, the Faunus he wasn't sure of. Bron shifted Trick Shot into it's dual blades form, as he creped up on them.
"Hello Flint. Still crying about that Grimm?" Bron said announcing himself. He stood behind Flint with his blades prepared to strike. He made sure to out of Flint's reach in case of attack. "Tell me, how long did it take for the Grimm's body to disintegrate?" He mocked, trying to anger him. Bron then looked over at the Faunus. "I'd leave if I was you darling. I believe me and Flint here have some unfinished business. Something a lady such as yourself shouldn't be apart of." Bron said with a slight grin. "Don't worry Flint, it's just you and me. My team doesn't know you're here."
"Part two then, and I'm going to skip the obvious of me passing. I think I was maybe three...maybe two and a half when I got my first kill. Nothing big, but it set high hopes for me from the adults...something about good parents. However, cubs don't learn their mother until their 5th and father until our thirteenth. On both counts its at the parents choice of determining if the child is worthy of their heritage." Considering this might take a while, the Faunus again sat down. However he made no effort to turn around to face the other occupants in the room.
" To test that we were pit against those pig Grimm, one-on-one, two of us died and a third was so injured they had to be put down. But I got by, and thus met the woman who brought me into this world. She taught me to hunt, fight and all around take care of myself. A useful thing as three years later we were forced to fend for ourselves due to a shortage of food- she and I ended up having to settle things permanently. Come my tenth year...only four of my litter mates remained. Then came our thirteenth year, where we'd fight our sires for final judgement. My closest friend was deemed unworthy, and his father summarily removed the disappointment. The only other member of my litter gained her sire's approval." Not once during this story did Tyrus' voice change or slow...the words simply kept coming.
"Last was my turn, and I was to be judged the following morning. So I slept wondering at my trial the next day...and they were gone. Everyone I had ever known had just up and left me during the night without leaving a trace. So I lived a while on my own, always on the move since I couldn't maintain a den on my own. Until eventually I ended up in Vale where the rest is history." Once more the lion rose to his feet, he'd finished his story. Considering how they'd managed to exchange stories like this Tyrus determined Bron was moving too slowly. He also felt the primal urge to get some alone time again.

She wouldn't let Brom take her new target. She needed him. Grimm are troublesome but he could survive them. She had to know how. She wanted his skills. Or at least make him....better. Perhaps external organs or flammable blood. Or extra eyes. So many choices. "The strong adapt. Those who don't are weak and are devoured by the strong, making them even stronger. That is what it means to evolve and advance."
Her slime ripped off the right arm of the fresh corpse. "Your life shall feed the strong,"she said as the slime began devouring the arm. "This life held an interesting skill deep inside. Had it learned how to use it properly, you might have continued to exist." She pointed to Brom. "Come. In the advancement of species, to the victor go the spoils. Flint will be Ruru's guinea pig,"she declared assuredly

"Fool boy, are you so blind as to not notice the situation before you? A girl is in danger, I'm the one doing something about it to save her, and I'M the one you're focused on? How Ozpin let you be the leader of your team is beyond me, that bird girl has more sense than you. As for the other facts, Sasha dispersed after her burial, and the smoking remains of the past two villages really helped me get over it, but not completely. Ah well, third time's the charm. Another protip, when your opponent has a staff, it's effective range is further than those toys you have, even when their back is turned. But since I'm not your opponent yet, consider this a temporary alliance. I may be one who lives among Grimm, but I'm still human, and I'm NOT letting someone die in such a manner as this. You're in no shape to fight melee after the beating I put your group through, so provide me support with your arrows and watch the slime, the snake girl can control it, from the looks of her current hostage." he said, rushing forward towards the snake faunus to attempt to strike it with the makeshift staff in a side-swiping motion.
Cereza had almost reached the meeting point, and found Tink and Tank playfighting on the ground. She whistled, and they both snapped to attention, looking at their king's student with questioning looks.
"What did Nicky tell me to do here... Oh! Right!" she said, letting her mind drift over to the slightly feral, and relayed the message Flint had given her to the pair through her thoughts. Upon receiving their orders, Tink picked up TAoS off of the rock Tank had left it on and took off in a blur with it in his jaws, Tank in close pursuit.

"Flint! I figured he'd be back, but so soon. Team, gear up, we are heading out for combat!" Arian exclaimed s he pulled his hoodie over his shoulders.
Indie shot up and grabbed Arian by his hood. 'No way. We are not going after him. Arian Blaidd you better listen to me.'
Confident her words would keep him at bay for a little bit Indie let go and turned to glare at Tyrus. 'Same goes for you buster. We aren't going anywhere.' With that Indie moved to the doorway and with her wings spread in all their glory, blocked the door. 'I am not kidding. These Grimm are diffrent. If we try to hurt him they won't stop at trying to kill us. So both of you boys better sit down.' Her eyes narrowed. 'Now.'
"If you think this is the case," he simply blinked and shrugged to break tension. "Just prepare for some gloating if you happen to be wrong" Tyrus himself wasn't sure whether making her fight what was coming herself was the proper way to let her learn. Or if he should simply spring into action at even the slightest hint of what could be provocation.
" Just recognize we're the ones who'll be bleeding if you're wrong okay? After all daddy isn't here to save us this time." Tyrus' face held his usually half closed eye smile while he flipped his hair to the comment. He'd completely forgot any potential barb Indie might take from the joke. His earlier recollection of the old days resulted in him making a joke that he'd otherwise make back home...where a father never bothered after a cub took its first steps.
Having completely switched gears again, the Faunus turned towards his more injured comrade. "So Arian, have we supposed to be sending the money we've been earning so far? I've never exactly found a reason to really go spend it and no one ever said if we lost the money for not spending it."
"If you aren't going to let me leave through the door than, and I hate to do it but, I guess I'll take escape point two: the window! Bye" Arian shouts as he hops out the window to rescue his teammate.
Left, take a right, now to walk up this wall and run to that roof. Arian thought as he inverted gravity around him self so that the force was pulling him towards the wall of the building.
Field induction: Upforce He thought causing the two wolves to lift off the ground.
I can't hold this for too long, I'll just pass right through and grab that guitar thing.

Azuru giggled as the makeshift weapon stabbed into a wall of slime that held it fast like rubber cement. It slowly crawled up the pipe, attempting to grab Flint's hands. Her eyes glinted, smelling more subjects and approaching Grimm. "You brought more? How exquisite! Maybe I'll fuse you two with Grimm!" Her tail flicked excitedly. "But first, I need samples," as she said this, the slime-coated walls stabbed at the two men, not aiming for anything vital, but in an attempt to draw blood. She just found useful organisms, probably best to not kill them right away.

Bron prepared to attack them both as Flint leaped forward towards the Faunus. He tried to jump out of the way as the Faunus' sent some kind slime, thing towards him. His injuries slowed him down enough for the attack to hit him in his right arm. Bron grunted in pain as he used his left blade to cut the slime off his arm. "Enough of this!" Bron shouted as he leaped forward towards Flint. He kicked Flint in the back, sending him towards the Faunus. "Leave. NOW!" Bron ordered the Faunus. "This is a one time offer. Flint is worth more to me then you are. Leave now and I'll forget what you did to that girl." Bron offered as he prepared himself for Flint's, or hers retaliation.

Indie groaned. 'Bron also told us to stay here. He's a big boy.' She blinked as Arian pulled his best puppy face. 'Beg all you want, he said to- HEY! DID YOU REALLY JUST JUMP OUT THE WINDOW?!' Wings twitching she stuck her head out the window Arian and just escaped in.
Idiot! Why does he feel the need to fight everything? Oh....he's gonna get an earful when we get home. Taking a calming breath she turned to Tyrus. 'We need to go drag him back. That dummy can't handle the Grimm guy by himself. We should also grav Bron and get out. Ozpin needs to know what's going on.' With that Indie opened the door and motined for Tyrus to follow.
'I swear...' She mumbled just loud enough for Tyrus to hear. 'My boys are idiots.'
The setting changes from Mountain Glenn to Remnant
"Those Nevermores DO get peckish, don't they?" he said to himself, tossing it into the air where the bird snapped it up, Cereza dropping Taos in response. One jump later and it was in his hands, where he gave it a quick riff to get inside the Faunus' head so he would have a pin on her location if she were to try and slip away, and to tell the Nevermore to take Cereza back to camp. Tink and Tank, both still semi-weightless, he commanded to split up, break range, and escape into the tunnels. And lastly, he called out to the oldest and most durable of the Death Stalkers, telling it to come to him and wait five blocks away for an expedient retreat if need be. While he wanted this girl neutralized, he did NOT want to be captured or killed, as he still had dozens of villages to burn. Landing back on the ground, he gave Taos a few swings, and started making the blade vibrate from the steady but minor release of Heavy Sound dust. Now, not only would it repel the slime, but it possessed a sharper cut.
"You think me a monster, yet would pardon a murderer for my head? My actions are done in revenge, yet yours appear to be merely in spite. SO TELL ME, BOY," he said, his voice building to a roar, "WHICH OF US IS THE MONSTER?" His words were regal and imposing, their effect amplified on the snake faunus, who would be getting that feeling the other Faunus got that maybe this Flint guy was someone to listen to and that boy was looking more and more like the target... At least, that was what Flint hoped she was thinking. She seemed a little bent off for your average Faunus, there could have been possible... side effects to her mind he didn't account for. As he spoke, he made sure to keep focusing on the girl's slime, watching to ensure that it didn't start attacking him again.

Her comment on the boys being idiots did result in him having a large, body shaking laugh. After all Tyrus knew that HE was an idiot, but the idea of lumping the other two with himself was rather funny to him.
"Yes I am," the proclamation was boldly made while he was carefully stepping along part of the street he'd almost fallen through after exiting the building. When Tyrus cleared the patch he switched to his usual saunter and found things at a rather interesting standstill. Arian was having a stare down with a ...slime girl that seemed intent on interrupting whatever Bron and the Grimm guy were doing.
" Hey Frank's back, and he even brought a girlfriend." Tyrus loudly vocalized his thoughts to double as a greeting. He kept working his way towards the group- still flapping his mouth...mostly to tease his teammates. He even through a mischievous look towards his female companion before continuing to clarify his next question wasn't being asked in earnest.
"So Indie we're dragging everyone back, but does that also mean I'm allowed to play rough?" Despite the tone being utterly innocent, Tyrus' 'play rough' had a way of being a hazard to most everyone around him. Of course, after years of working with his allies he'd learned ways around it. But 'playing rough' was still how he described the point where he stopped trying to contain his wrecking ball style of fun. By this point, he'd walked level to Arian in terms of distance to slime girl but unlike his comrade Tyrus kept walking to close the gap.
"Or are am I actually allowed to just full on enjoy myself?"
She felt her slime hit flesh as it stabbed Bron. Then...the blood got onto the slime. Getting Bron's blood into her slime caused something interesting to occur. Azuru's eyes began to glow bronze and her brain and reflexes sped up. These two were in serious trouble now. As Flint tossed the skull into the air, it carried slime with it and as the Nevermore snatched it up, more delightful powers came to the snake-girl. From her back erupted 2 large and beautiful black wings and she rocketed into the air. The slime coated her body, creating a helmet and armor, now resembling that of a Valkyrie. In her hands she formed a bow and arrow of slime and rained deadly sharp arrows of ooze upon Flint and Bron, aiming for joints and avoiding any vitals while Flint had his rock concert, though it was muffled by the goop in the girl's ears. Mixed in with the arrow were razor sharp feathers, a signature of the Nevermore. This is what it means to evolve. To be strong.
"The more you fight me, the less likely I'll be able to avoid killing you. Now let me rip off those arms and replace them with blades or tentacles or something. It'll be fun, won't hurt me a bit."
After they left his bow he next readied a smokescreen arrow. Bron fired the arrow at the woman, causing a blanket of smoke to cover her, and the immediate area around her, easily opening her up for another's attack. Bron's eyes then went over to Flint. He didn't trust him one bit. He was ready incase he would try something. He's not getting the better of him this time, and if that means he has to let whoever this woman is go, then so be it. Something about Flint just brought out the worse in Bron. He just couldn't stand him.
Indie bit her bottom lip as they trudged after Arian. 'Well....only if you are attacked. Then, yes. Enjoy yourself Ty.'
When they came to the fight now only was Bron against Flint, but another Faunus was present. Indie noted the girls wings and her own shrunk back. She would of felt a raging jealousy if it weren't for the over powering smell of blood.
'Ty...' She whispered while shaking her wings out. 'Keep the Grimm boy busy. Dont let Bron or Ari kill him. I can handle the girl if we both take to the air.' With a final trusting and hopefull glance to Tyrus Indie took to the air.
A few feet away she stayed level with the girl. 'You!' With a blade pointed out Indie looked almost threating. 'Surrender and no one will be hurt!'
