Introduction
Private rp between The_Calender and me
Shifters. They walk amongst humans, usually unknown. Or at least they used to. They have been hunted down to near extinction. Now, there is only a few packs still in existence. But they are still dwindling. Shifters can turn into one animal, that they are born with. They also have superhuman senses. Two humans can give birth to a shifter, and that shifter can grow up completely unaware of their abilities. It's only after they're shown how to shift, that they can. But they always have animal-like qualities. Super human hearing, agility, sight, ect. But of course, these humans don't know to hide their abilities. They are often caught, and killed by the hunters. Two shifter parents are guaranteed a shifter baby. Shifter parents know how to raise their children so they won't get caught, but sometimes even that isn't enough. The hunter groups are growing, and shifter population is shrinking.
To combat this, almost all shifters now imprint. It was once a rare thing, but now it is very common. Two shifters will make eye contact, and the animals inside of them will become bonded. They hear each other's thoughts, feel each other's emotions, grow very protective of the other person and very affectionate. They almost always become mates. To fulfill the imprint, they have to do a blood ritual in which they both make a small cut on their wrists, then press their wrists together to mix their blood. This mates them, and intensifies the bond. They grow inseparable. This is essentially marriage in the shifter world. After this, they are expected to have kids and act like a married couple would. But there's a catch. If this isn't done within two weeks of meeting their imprint, they slowly begin to die off. Yep. You have two weeks to get to know the other person before you have to essentially get married. But, what with hearing each other's thoughts, you get to know the other person quite quickly. And imprints' personalities always go along together eventually. Its as though they were made for each other.
Groups of shifters are called packs. They generally live together in the woods, in a large home or in a collection of cottages. They are constantly searching for new shifters to save. They can sense another shifter being nearby, they just have to convince that shifter that they really are a shifter and if they don't join their pack they will likely die. Once they have their new shifter, they train them so if a hunter finds them they will know what to do. They also teach them how to shift quickly without being seen, how to get used to their other form, use their abilities, ect. Generally if the shifter has imprinted, their imprintee teaches them. Even if they don't want to.

Collectibles

(case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name
to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.
Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
