“Oh please, you're too cute.”
Vi doesn't listen. There's nothing more to it. She might be famous and very well-liked, but it doesn't keep her from being the reckless daredevil that she is. She's constantly written about in articles for her illicit drug use, however, Vi excels at keeping a clean record. Never once has she been arrested, she has simply been spotted in public clearly not sober. Although the tabloids talk about her use, she refuses to give them the credit since they have no proof, nor do they know any kind of drugs that she uses. Although Vi is very reckless, she's also extremely smart but she doesn't care to show it. She tends to make games out of her drug use and acting stupid around people in order to get what she wants. She's very manipulative and will do anything she can to get her way. With that being said, there are a few boundaries that Vi draws the line at.
Complimenting her reckless and carefree personality, Vi has a soft spot. She refuses to let anyone know about it but is has become her biggest weakness. Vi desperately craves a deep personal connection with someone, however, Vi pushes every person away that even comes close to her because she's afraid of letting people in. She doesn't want people to know the real Vi that hides underneath her behavior. For fear of rejection or being hurt. The submerged side of her is a person she left in the past and was someone who cared about everyone, everything. Vi doesn't talk about her past to anyone, nor does she bring it up on her own. She prefers to live for the moment and in the moment.
“Honey, just smile. Even when it hurts.”
Growing up throughout grade school, Vi was considerably one of the popular girls. She didn't care what people thought of her, and when individuals tried to make fun of her, she would simply laugh along with them. She graduated with high honors and moved on to acting school soon after finishing high-school. Her parents were always supportive of her decisions, and although they didn't have that much money, they put everything they could towards their daughter's future. Vi was always thankful for their help and support, and when she finally got a good acting gig right after finishing up acting school, she made sure that the majority of her earnings went to her family.
It wasn't until her second big acting job that she was introduced to drugs and heavy alcohol use. No matter how many friends she wound up having, or how well her career was going, she never felt like she had someone to confide in. After a few years into the business, she has perfected having relationships that made it look like she was the happiest person with the best life. Included with that facade were a boyfriend and some close friends. The only two people that she kept close to her legitimately was her parents. And even with their closeness, she's been pretty disconnected. More concerned about her public appearance and making sure that everyone believed she was happy. Sometimes, the idea of succeeding really did make her feel happy. However, the assistance of drugs and alcohol were the real supporters. Except no one really knows of it.
