IN OUR UNIVERSE, far far away...there lies another realm. A realm called 'Heaven.' Here, human-like yet powerful beings called 'Angels' handle the fragile souls of dead humans and help these souls pass from our universe to the next, a universe not even they know of. There are both light and dark angels. Their wing color has nothing to do with it...it is their personality and soul that makes them what they are. Obidient to some being named 'God,' a being no-one has seen or heard (but yet someone whom the leaders of the angels insist exist), they have done their duty since time began. Heaven, in and of itself, is a glorious realm of endless gardens, cities of gold and rain of diamonds.

But even angels can get bored.

When a few angels in this realm suddenly heard strange, ugly voices calling out to them, they followed the voices into The Dark Forest, a place different from the rest of heaven...a place where no God-fearing angel is supposed to tread. The voices led them to a hideous, craggy, glowing portal. Something, whether it was the voices or their own need for adventure, drew the angels to step foot inside the portal.

This time it seems that curiosity has maimed the cat.

A mysterious cult of magical scientists (called The Knights of Order) that has been around since the middle ages, hiding in the shadows of government secrecy, has grown tired of debating the question "what happens after we die?" After hundreds of years of study, they have found a way to open a portal to the other side of the universe. Fortunately, it was discovered that no humans could step foot inside the portal or they would die instantly. Not only that, but the time for the portal to stay open was limited. So instead of their original plan, they decided to lure in angels using a strange machine that made voices carry. Once the angels had been lured in, they were maimed with strange drugs that made them sleepy. Before they could escape, the portal closed...seemingly forever.

Their wings were cut. Their powers quickly began to weaken to simple magic tricks. They were locked away in cells, given numbers, and forced to partake in painful experiments day after day.

Our angels have become dull, listless. Yet, deep inside, a part of them thirsts for revenge. Whether this revenge will be on the cult or on God himself remains to be seen.
