Ψ The cruise

It was unexplained, but one day, you woke up to an invitation at your bedside. You are without knowledge who sent this to you or how it got there, but all you know is that it's there. You take a look at it and it invites you to private cruise that includes only you and a 9 others. It is scheduled that you are to leave this noon.
Your things are packed the same day, and at 12 on the minute a shuttle arrives. You get on and notice few others on the shuttle as well. They too were mysteriously given an invitation.
Despite the inkling that this was a trap of sorts, it turns out it really was what it said. A luxury cruise ship, almost custom to your interest! It is peculiar, but you choose not to question it... Beautiful cruise, beautiful ocean and beautiful weather... Until... it hit. The storm itself was more than the poor boat and it's passengers could handle. The boat shipwrecked, and all the passengers were sent into the ocean.
It wasn't until they washed ashore an unknown island that the direness of the situation hit... The island itself complete with sprawling jungles, a beach that spans the entire perimeter of the island and a single, dormant volcano in the very center. Is it survivable? Yes, yes it is. But will they?
