Kumi unruffled her shirt as she looked at herself in the mirror. In a few days, she would be starting school. "I guess this looks fine enough to wear out today." The outfit was a light pink tank top and dark jeans. "Mother, I'm leaving." She called once she arrived in the door way of the front door. It was bright and sunny and a few clouds in the sky, occasionally moving over the sun. Her little bag was slung over her shoulder, holding money and her book. "Da, la, dee~" She sung to herself as she walked down the sidewalk, cars and bikes moving past her, causing her long black hair to fly back behind her. She continued to walk until a crosswalk that said in bright red letters, 'DONT WALK' stopped her from proceeding. Therefore, she pressed the button and waited for the sign to say, "WALK."

Bura growled as he rolled over in his sleep, he didn't want to get up. He just wanted to sleep all day and when he was hungry grab some food, eat then maybe wacth some tv or something, maybe he would look and see if there was anyone outside he wanted to draw. He sighed, now that he had thought about it he had remembered, school was starting again in a few days.

"Ag~~~h... why do i need to go to school... i'm a dragon..."

He rolled over again and opening his left eye, the right buried in the mattress. His eye was like any normal human's as was his body, except if you looked carefully you could see that Bura's eyes were slitted, making them look animal-like and imtimidating some people when they looked him in the eyes.

He kept rolling, too tired, or too lazy, to get up. As he rolled himself off the mattress he brought the duvet with him and as he thumped onto the floor the impact made him wake up more, motion coming back to his limbs again as he pushed himself up from the floor with a slight grunt. He got up and picked up the duvet in one hand, throwing it messily back onto the bed as he moved his thin and muscular form around his room, collecting random pieces of clothing.

He collected a black shirt which he had worn the day before from the chair that was next to his bed, a pair of jeans from the floor next to the door of his room and others items such as underwear and socks from a messy and strewn pile of clean clothes which had orignally been piled next to a dresser to be put away but had been left and eventually messed up.

Bura dressed quickly, putting on the underwear and jeans on first, then his black shirt after he had admired the black tattoo on his chest, the mark of the dragons, though most would think it just a normal tattoo for a rebel, which Bura partly was.
Bura smiled when he was done, giving his room a quick scan. If anyone was wondering why Bura wasn't being shouted at by his parents to get up earlier it was because he had lived on his own in this flat for around two years now. Bura decided he didn't want to bother cooking today, he was going out to eat.

He looked around and on top of the dresser, where his clothes would have been but was not mostly empty of those and filled with pictures of people and itmes instead, was a black plain wallet which Bura put in the pocket of his jeans.

"Now we're rocking, let's go" he said as he collected a bunch of keys from the top drawer of the dresser, along with a few sweets and his trusty dagger, which he hid in his sleeve, he took a small skecth pad as well and a pencil and pen, he never knew when he would find someone to draw. With that he opened the door and walked out, he had little time left to enjoy before school started again and he was going to spend it his way.

Sakura brushed her soft hair as she looked in the mirrior making sure she looked okay. She put a pink flower clip in her brown hair."Perfect" Sakura said while trying to fix the clip in her hair just right. She looked at herself one more time in the mirrior just to make sure everything matched. She was wearing a pink dress short-sleeved, button down, with ruffles and white sandals." Okay, I look good" she said to herself, she walked out of her room grabbing a small pink purse from off her door handle. Sakura walked down stairs wondering why she didn't hear her mom."Mom, are you hear" she shouted so loudly it echoed through out the quiet house. She searched through the house to find a sticky note stuck to the front of the refrigeratorDear Sakura, Mommy had to go to work today. I'm sorry but I left money for you on the counter. Have fun on this Saturday. Love, Mom."Don't over work yourself mom" Sakura trew away the note then went over to the kitchen counter to grab the money off the counter. She put the money in her purse and grabbed her house keys as well. Sakura left the quiet house to try to find something for breakfast."Looks like I'm eatting alone again" she said in a small voice.

Adams sighed, running his hand through his thick, jet black hair. He shoved his hands into his pockets, walking along the street in the freezing air. It was bright outside, though, sure enough. This was like a morning ritual for him, to walk eight blocks to his favorite little coffee shop each morning. It was a nice little modern place that had great coffee and baked goods. He fingered the money in his pocket, just making sure it was still there.

"Alright..." he murmered, coming to a stop a few yards behind a stoplight, waiting for it to turn. He impatiently tapped his foot, waiting. His scarf was lifted by the wind, dancing madly around his chest. His alert eyes focused on the ground, awkwardly shuffling his feet.

Catchy pop music blared loudly on the radio, carrying out of the second story apartment and into the streets. A small girl moves slightly with the rhythm of the music, adorned in naught but a large green towel, her ruby red hair falling damply down her figure. A thick white mist obscured her form beneath her knees, the mist filling the entire apartment. She looked at herself intently in a large standing mirror she had dragged into the living room. She turned and looked at a couple that sat slumped against each others shoulders, sleeping. "It's a beautiful day out!" She mused, somewhat excitedly, "Must have a beautiful outfit to go with it." With a determined look, the girl turned back to the mirror and began observing herself in it once more. "Can't just stay wet..." she muttered, shaking her body violently, sending water flying everywhere. When she finished her hair settled nicely back in place without need for any comb or touch. "Much better..."

Hooking one finger under the towel, she undid the knot and let it fall to the ground, a tight fitting black shirt painting itself across her torso from where the towel had once been, black stockings and a tight pair of white panties with a frilly pink hem appearing as the towel fell past. "I'm thinking a skirt today," she said, looking her partially clothed form up and down in the mirror, "Oooh! And braids and a hat!" With an excited squeal at finally deciding on what she would wear, she grabbed the frills of her undergarments and began to stretch them out, forming a loosely fitting frilly green skirt that stopped at mid thigh. With a mischievous grin on her face, the girls hair seemed to come alive as it began to order itself into two perfectly braided lengths, ending just above her pert little rear, which she was now staring at in the mirror. With a flick of her wrist she was suddenly holding a small pink beret, which she set atop her head very carefully. Still seeming unhappy with what she was wearing, her face contorted into a look of deep thought. After a few moments, her face lit up with all the excitement of before as a small pink heart formed on the chest of her shirt, and a green vest to match her skirt had grown onto her.

The girl began striking poses in the mirror, admiring her every curve and line, the music had since stopped playing, the hissing crackle of a silent speaker filling the room. She stopped as a small grunting noise coming from behind her broke the white noise, her attention once again placed on the middle aged couple on the couch. "I'm so sorry, look at me forgetting all about my hosts!" The girl strolled across the room and spun onto the couch, squeezing her way between the two sleeping forms and wrapping arms around their necks. She leaned in close to the man, turning his head so she was whispering directly into his ear, "You've been so kind to let me use your home. That shower was really fun, I really liked the massage head," the girl giggled, ruffling up the man's hair and turning to speak into the woman's ear. "Now, you can't just stay with a cheating lout like that," she whispered, turning the man's head to face away from them. "When you wake up, you're just going to have to do something about that. Make him a special dinner, use that stuff under the sink, he won't notice until it's too late."

The girls giggles broke out into a genuine laugh now as she pulled herself up and out of the couch, strolling over to the window. "Now lets get all this aired out so you two can get on with your day..." she said, forcing the window open, the white smoke that filled the room starting to drift out the window and dissipating in the open air. Without saying another word the girl turned and strolled out of the apartment, made her way down the stairs, and out to the street. She took a long deep breath of air and slowly exhaled it, "I think it's gonna be a fun day!"

(Just a note, anyone can live in that apartment building that wants to, you can reference the music, the smoke, the girl leaving the room you've never seen before, or if you want to wait on it the cops/ambulance later when the wife poisons the husband. Just some suggestions and whatnot.)

At that moment, Ken Sumato was on the roof of a building. He saw a trail of smoke coming from another apartment block, but it didn't really concern him. He had an idea, and it would either result in success or total failure. Only one way to find out, right?

With a bag of flour he had... 'borrowed', Ken planned to ignite it with a bit of fire magic. The resulting explosion should be enough to propel him further than any long jump ever could, with the help of a small amount of levitation to give it a little extra kick. Grinning at the ingenuity of his plan, the freerunner took a few steps back from the edge of the roof and paused for a few moments, letting the wind blow around him. One wrong move and... well, he didn't really want to think too much about what the consequences would be. He wanted to keep going to that school place, especially since it was the closest thing he had to having a roof over his head. With these doubts dealt with, Ken took a running jump off the edge of the roof before letting the flour bag fall at the peak of his jump.

And then he set it alight.

The theory regarding the explosion worked perfectly, even if it did leave a slight burn mark on the building, although maybe the levitation was just plain overkill. In short, Ken was flying through the air. A feat that most would daydream about. In real life, however, it was pretty damn terrifying at such a velocity. Thinking quickly, Ken tried willing his body to hover gently in the air, but it was no use. He was going too fast, and it was only slowing him a little.

Wait, that's it! His bacon may yet be saved!

Ken let himself fall to the ground, but he gradually slowed his descent through the use of levitation magic. This use of power was a little taxing, but saving his life was a pretty fair trade-off. Landing neatly in an alley, he staggered out onto the pavement, glad to be alive. "Never... again..." he gasped, slowly looking up. There was a girl there, with dark hair, and she probably deserved an explanation. "Uh... I was working on some kind of explosive-based propulsion. Yeah, I won't be trying that again." Adjusting the glasses on his face, Ken managed to get a better look at the girl. "Hey, have we met before? You look somewhat familiar..."

Jeremy glanced at the bodyguards that were positioned around him as he walked through the hallways of the mall. He was not happy about the fact that his mother forced him to have the bodyguards come with him. He glared at the bodyguards and crossed his arms. He turned suddenly to enter a store and a bodyguard stopped him. Jeremy glared up at the bodyguard. “Why are you stopping me? I’m not trying to ditch you guys, no matter how much I want to. I’m going into a store, you know the reason why I came to the mall,” he said as he pushed past the bodyguard and walked into the clothing store. The bodyguards followed him into the store and two of them stood next to the entrance while the other two walked next to him, one on either side of him.

Jeremy frowned slightly and ran his hand through his shaggy, blonde hair as he looked through the clothes quietly, trying to ignore the stares and whispers that he was receiving because of the bodyguards. He stopped and turned to the bodyguards. “Back up a little alright? I feel like I can’t breathe with you guys standing there. I’m going to be fine. I honestly don’t believe that anyone here is going to try to kill me with you guys standing five feet away. So please, back up,” he said and turned back to the clothes as the bodyguards back up a few feet.

Jeremy found a few pairs of pants, a few shirts, jackets, and scarves and walked up to the cashier, setting the clothes down on the counter. He smiled softly at the cashier as she asked how he was today, “I’m alright, and you?” The cashier blushed a little and mumbled a soft okay as she rang up his clothes. Jeremy held out his credit card to the cashier, who took it and ran it through the machine and handed it back to him and set the receipt on the counter with a pen for him to sign. As Jeremy signed the receipt, the cashier placed his clothes into a bag and set it on the counter and took the receipt back. Jeremy smiled and took his bag and walked out of the store quietly.

The day was young and new, bright autumn sunlight beamed down upon the world. It seeped through the curtains of Ezekiel’s room, flooding and devouring every inch of shadow in sight. He was already up and dressed, currently lying on top of his tidy bed with eyes closed. Hardly one to sleep, Ezekiel had been awake since the early hours of the morning. He was hoping to meet up with Kumi today, time off from school was boring unless spent in the company of someone else. Slowly he opened his eyes and glanced sideways at the clock, ten am. Surely she would be awake by now. Ezekiel jumped from the bed and landed gracefully on the floor, his footsteps as light and silent as a feather. It was a skill which came with sword-work, one had to learn to float above the ground and strike opponents without alerting them. And Ezekiel was a master with a sword. He wasted no time in rushing out the front door, stopping only to lock it behind him. Throwing the key into his pocket, he turned and noticed a girl coming from an apartment.

She seemed vaguely familiar and Ezekiel stopped for a moment to watch her pass. He’d never seen her around here before, but there was a strange feeling of familiarity coming from her. Suddenly it dawned on him, she was one of the four villains, one of his team-mates. The two of them were not on the best of terms though. Ezekiel didn’t bother to talk to her or question why she was in this particular block of apartments (when her’s were the other side of town), he merely watched her leave without making a sound.

He knew the way to Kumi’s house off by heart now, he had visited her many times but never once actually been inside her house. She never invited him in; Ezekiel didn’t complain. He stopped at the crossing, cars rushing by as he eyed the red light. His gaze travelled down to the road, catching sight of Kumi on the other side as the final car passed by.

“Kumi!” As the light turned green, he ran across the road, halting only on the other side as he noticed someone talking to her. Ezekiel frowned, his eyebrows knitting together. He could feel it, the other person’s aura was that of a Crystal Bearer, it had to be as it was so similar to Kumi’s. He didn’t catch the conversation they were having but continued walking towards them slowly and calmly. His expression softened and a friendly smile was back on his face as he stood neck to Kumi.

“Who’s your friend?” Ezekiel questioned, tilting his head like a curious dog. He didn’t wait for an answer, merely turned to Kumi directly and ignored the other boy. “What are you doing today? I thought we could go see a movie or something.” He gave a short sideways glance at the other boy, taking in his features. Blue hair, blue eyes framed by glasses and an all around weak looking appearance. He would be no problem to deal with when the time came. Ezekiel focused his attention back on Kumi now, smiling sweetly at her.

Bura walked out his apartment, his hands in his pockets as he quietly observed the area around him. An apartment building, not 10 feet away seemed to have a bit of smoke coming from it and for a moment Bura thought someone was trying to burn the building down. He had seen people crazy enough to do that and he would be damned if he was getting burned alive or trampled to death because of simple neglegence.
Bura looked to the building next to it just in time to see somebody run off a building, exploding something behind them to propel them forwards.

"I hope that guy can fly...'cause i'm not saving him"
he said while smiling slightly, his stomach grumbled and Bura gave a 'tch' sound as he walked on into the streets of Japan, it was packed like normal and as Bura was walking the opposite way that the tide of people was flowing he didn't notice when he hit somebody.
"Oh sorry, i can't see much" Bura said, putting his right hand behind his head.

Sakura walked down the street from her house thinking about her mom."Maybe I should have woken up a little early to make sure she had breakfast, she usaully doesn't eat if she doesn't have to" speaking to herself."Oh well I'll check on her in a little bit wouldn't want to disturb her hard work." Sakura sighed as she saw the head on crowd of people coming her way. Sakura tried to make her way through the crown as swiftly as she could, but she kept bumping into people. Sakura kept saying sorry to all the people she accidentally walked into, no one in the crown didn't speak back to her or told her they were sorry. Until Sakura knocked into a really tall guy but before she couldn't say anything to him he already said "Oh sorry, I can't see much. " Sakura looked up to see his face "I'm really sorry, I can't really see over this crowd, are you okay?"

It was sunny outside, chilly, but the feeling that the day would warm up later when the sun had a chance to climb higher in the sky. School would start again very soon, so most of Japan's kids were heading out to have one last day of fun, freedom, and mischief before those bells finally rung. There was a restlessness in the air, the kind of feeling drifted about that made even the laziest want to go out and do something today. A chilly breeze tugged playfully at the heavy black curtains gaurding the windows of the roofhouse, to no avail.

It was the kind of day that made Aijou want to go out, as well. However, unlike most kids his age, his plans were far more sinister than drugs and violence. He scowled. Not that anybody took him seriously. Heck, even most members of his own team had decided he was a liability, and only kept him around because he 'entertained' them. The 18-year old scanned his drab house. It was simply, all in shades of grey, black, and white. The roofhouse contained only the necceseties; just the way he liked it. Of course, Aijou had to add the curtains to keep the damned sun out.

Agh. The sun. It was his worst enemy; the reason Aijou was never taken seriously. The breifest touch of it, when undiluted, was enough to burn the top layer of his skin off. The nasty stuff was horrible, simply horrible. If only he could find a way to snuff it out....

Aijou blinked. Enough of impossible talk, time to get ready to go. He had already covered himself up with sunscreen, a jacket/sweater, and a hat. Now all Aijou had to do was slide on his sunglasses, stuff his stethoscope into his bag, and pull out his white anti-UV umbrella. Preparations complete, the villian loped out of his 15-story building gracefully, taking the stairs 4 at a time in an effort to avoid strange looks as much as possible. all of this was in vain, for as soon as Aijou stepped outside the business doors he drew eyes as if he had taken his glasses off. Of course, most people, assuming he had some kind of medical problem, looked away quickly. Then, there were the ones that pointed and snickered amongst themselves. Once, Aijou would have silenced them with a single glance, but now he didn't even bother to waste his time with the likes of them. Thinking of the Crystal Bearers, he knew he had much bigger fish to fry.

Kumi watched as a boy with blue hair tried to explain why he was suddenly smack dab in front of her. "Well, it's fine really." She smiled and then Ezekiel showed up.

"What are you doing today? I thought we could go see a movie or something."

Kumi laughed. "Well, I was going to go a little cafe in the mall and then buy myself some food for when I'm at home." She inhaled sharply after the sentence, walking across the street, towards the mall.

If there was one thing that Ken managed to overhear in the conversation between the two strangers, it was food. Only now did he realise how hungry he was, and he didn't feel like opening his last bag of cookies just yet. "Mind if I go with you? I won't be too much trouble, honest!" The freerunner had a feeling that the girl just might stick up for him. Well, it was just a chance, but it was a chance worth taking.

Kumi laughed, "Well, I was going to go a little cafe in the mall and then buy myself some food for when I'm at home." she turned away and began walking across the street and to the mall.

"Sound's good enough to me." Ezekiel smiled, following his friend and continuing on by her side.

"Mind if I go with you? I won't be too much trouble, honest!" Ezekiel stopped, turning around and eyeing up the blue-haired boy. He wondered why he wanted to come, he didn't seem like a friend to Kumi. In fact it seemed as if the two just met. Ezekiel glanced to the side of him and at Kumi, it didn't look like she was about to turn him down.

Ezekiel sighed. "Sure, I don't mind." he glared momentarily at the boy before turning around and continuing on to the mall. He continuously glanced back at the blue-haired boy, he was a crystal bearer but one which didn't look too challenging to defeat. Ezekiel wondered when he would actually move forward with his plan and not just stay friends with Kumi. He would have to try and speak with the others in order to figure out their next move. It had to be soon, before they grew too powerful. Not that they couldn't handle them at full power, they were just... a little trickier.

"I'm really sorry, I can't really see over this crowd, are you okay?"

"Heh" Bura said as the girl aplogized to him "no probleum, i just came to get some breakfast in town and i end up getting sweeped into this massive crowd... sometimes i wish i lived someplace quieter... but then it wouldn't be as fun" he looked around, he wasn't far from the place where he got his breakfast when he couldn't be bothered to cook, Harry's Diner it was called.
"let's get out of this crowd" he said "i don't know where you're going but you shouldn't have to go through this amount of people to get there, if you want food we can go to a place i know about that ain't far from here.

"thank you, you are very kind" Sakura said with a cute smile. She was really happy that she got to eat with someone instead of eating by herself. Until she realized that her phone was ringing."Hold on one second" she said. Sakura pulled out a small pink with a heart charm and answered the phone call."Hello?""Sakura its mommy" her mom said in a cheerful voice."Mom, how's work?" Sakura said."Great, I'm sorry for not waking you up and telling you I was leaving, there was a emergency at work and they told me to come quickly" Sakura's mom sighed."It's not your fault I'm fine" Sakura said in a sweet voice."I'm going to get breakfast, so I'll call you back when I'm done.""Okay, bye sweet heart." Sakura closed her phone and put it back in her purse."Sorry about that,I'm Munisaki Sakura, what's yours?" Sakura said in a cute voice.

"Thank you, you are very kind"
Bura smiled, few people ever called him kind, they always thought him as dangerous because of his powers, though themselves were really no better. Some people at his school could control elements, as he could but really only enough to make a fireball at most, will other dragons could make large jets of fire. They seemed to be the most popular people at the school, but they couldn't take a hit, at least not to the extent that Bura could.

He had been born different. He stopped thinking about it when the girl opened her phone and started talking to someone, then stopping and saying something.
"Sorry about that,I'm Munisaki Sakura, what's yours?"
"Hm... oh the name's Buraki Hitosume, but my friends call me Bura"
If you had many friends which you don't a voice said in his mind
"anyway come on"

Kumi turned and smiled. "Why of course you can come with us~" She turned back around and continued to walk towards the mall.

When she was about to enter the parking lot of the mall, she pulled her book out of her bag and wrote some things down. 'Sumoato Ken. Age 17. Crystal Bearer.' She quickly replaced her book at took out her wallet and stepped into the mall. "Now where was that cafe?" She looked around and smiled as she found. "Yes!" She ran over to it and sat at small table for four. She sat there waiting for Ken and Ezekiel to catch up.
