Setting: The cities of Titanopolis and Scrap City

Plot: In the metropolis of Titanopolis, work robots and service robots have been going missing. But also some of their owners and other people have been murdered. Even so, the mob has been awfully quiet lately. The entire situation is unsettling and even city officials seem to be hiding something due to their objections to the case being looked into. Despite shady politicians putting the investigation on hiatus, the local police has still assembled a team to look into the crimes. The team is made up of misfit officers and detectives that not many people trust anyways, but luckily even the politicians are not too big about them either. Now may this be their biggest case in their career? Might the shady city officials be involved in a scandal of intrigue and corruption?

This is a dieselpunk themed roleplay. It is like 1930s with advanced technology based on the themes of the time such as streamlined vehicles, clunky robots, massive propeller driven airplanes etc. Even like cyborgish prosthetics exist.

Titanopolis: A city of 11 million. Lit even at night. Always bustling with people, jazz blaring out of ground level music clubs. Neon lights everywhere.


Scrap city: A city of only a couple hundred thousand in the middle of the desert. It has many factory and the pollution makes the skies seem gray all the time. A lot of the factories are mostly automated. The main industry is processing the scrap from other cities to make new production metals and valuable metals.
