- In a small costal fishing town in Southampton there's an exclusive club for everybody and everybody under 25 years old who feels socially unaccepted. United by their 'South Coast Misery' there's a small group of private, withdrawn but overly characterised young adults and teenagers who have been drawn to living on the dark side of dreams. Hopeless romantics but touched with enough tragedy to write a Greek play, they're trying to take on the world one small town at a time. Known infamously for their habits of clubbing, gate crashing and rolling up punk, rock and alternative gigs here there and everywhere around the county they have a well lived reputation for being reckless and in the true nature of the word; punk.
Held together by their willingness to accept each other's differences, quirks and oddities- they all have an understanding of what it's like to be marginalised, victimised or alone which is why one might say they needed one another or even more so, why they exist in the first place.
But in a small town like the one they call home, you'd expect there to be only so much trouble they could get themselves into but you'll soon think again once you've crossed their path. With hearts of trouble, mischief and madness, they're always out for a good time and would gladly to extreme but with new people arriving in town, rumours, scandal and drama will they still be laughing at the end of the night?

- To note...
The RP will follow the lives of the teenagers and characters (see below) and will be whole heartedly character driven. Their actions, any plots you make together as writer's- their is nothing set for the outcome of this RP hence everything is so vague within this bio for it. Though things may be pushed in one direction if we all as writers like the idea of something; it's primarily intended to be as a more grunge or punk take on Skins (but not fan-fic).
So, I know a lot of people don't like being given a strict character idea to follow with restrictions on FC, Personality, Age, Sexuality- whatever, so I've decided that I'm going to leave it open and that in your reservation; you guys send me everything in bold for my character so name, age (between 18-25), gender, sexuality, role i.e male one, Face claim and a secret, then I'll add it onto here. I'll also need a 240x240 image with a link so I can update it into this page and a brief description of them like I have done for Ezzy. I know this makes reservations more time consuming but it allows for more freedom and creativity for writers. Please be considerate being trying to keep genders even though, a slight difference is okay but I don't want this to end up being dominated by one or another.
Ezzy is known for being a more maternal figure within the group, though edgy and enchantingly uncool, she's the girl you'd turn to first in any case where you needed from advice, from serious things like love to regretful sex; she'll guide you through it all with a loving hand and honesty. She's sweet natured but feisty and undoubtedly spirited. She'll defend her cherished ones to her last breath; she'd die for anyone she truly cared for without batting an eye lid which might be way she managed to earn herself a lot of respect around town. A devil on the dance floor and wicked tattoo artist in training, she's one of less aspirational within the group- content with the simple life and doing what she can do but in fairness, what she aspires to do- she aspires to do the best. With dreams of opening her own tattoo parlour before she's twenty-two, you can hardly write her down as being unmotivated or disinterested in work. She dropped out of school with nothing in her pocket but an A* at Art GCSE and then an A* again at A-Level to pursue a job offer with a local ink parlour and piercing salon. Though she's still training she's quickly gaining a name for herself and regular customers have even started to request for her as a designer. Ezzy is also a big believer in all or nothing; especially romantically. She's the kind of girl that falls hard and fast, she's either completely hot or completely cold and you can never really tell which way it's going to go with her but if you asked her straight up- she wouldn't lie to you, there's just no way.
Only a few short years ago, it was hard to believe that Jay could have ever ended up the way he did. He was a happy, successful kid, surely on the way to big things. Even now, many still believe that he will manage to overcome his problems and become that successful person. After all, he's still captain of the debating team, is still achieving high grades, and his performance in school has almost returned to its former glories. He's seen as the poster boy for recovery- which is ironic, because on the inside, he's nowhere near recovered. He's currently struggling with a dependence on sleeping tablets and an addiction to prescription painkillers, and can barely function without them. He's also struggling with depression and self-image issues- not that he'd ever admit that to anyone. Jay is proud, and he's determined to keep up his perfect image- whatever the cost.
'Looks can be deceiving' is Ariel's motto, something the young girl has gotten to experience over and over again. Born and raised in one of the post powerful and richest families in Mexico, Ariel learnt at a young age what it meant to live a luxurious life full of exuberance. Such was her life before her older sister, Isabella, was murdered in a hit and run. Unable to cope with her loss, the Leon’s soon spiraled into their inevitable demise. Ariel’s only comfort lied in her music. Before too long, Ariel was determined to live life her fullest, without anything holding her back; not even her own family.
Anyone who knows Ariel, know she is always up for a good time. Having an unbelievably carefree personality and rather delightful persona, Ariel knows exactly what to say at the right time. Though rather charming, Ariel is known for being incredibly stubborn and, at times, far too honest even at her own detriment. Extremely passionate and driven, Ariel makes for an excellent friend and lover, but more importantly, someone you wouldn’t want to have as an enemy. Her greatest love, however, will always be her music.
As expected, the young girl is highly educated, being educated in boarding schools, and after her sister’s passing, taking private lessons at home. She is currently living in a dorm with a few friends and works as a barista at the local coffee shop. One can say that when night comes is when Ariel truly comes to life, when the fiery girl works as a DJ.
Rules will be added to the OOC and a basic form for reservations there will be included so you know what's required (along with my example).

Dylan is the sort of boy that moms keep their daughters away from. Maybe his rich family spoiled him too much, or maybe he was just born to disobey. His predatory smirks and suggestive glances paired with the teasing words always at the tip of his tongue scream "sex", and for parents, this means trouble. But this flirtation can turn sour very quickly; Dylan's therapist at juvie diagnosed him with anger management issues within the first 5 minutes of their session. In this way, he is what you'd consider a bad boy. Even when he is in high spirits, he is an asshole-- racist, homophobic, sexist, and rude. Perhaps the moms were on the right track by marking him as a bad egg.
Dylan skipped school almost every day in lieu of getting high or stealing something. The only reason he was still a senior instead of a sophomore (since he should have been held back twice) was because of his father. Louis Montgomery was a hotel mogul, and his money could buy the respect of anyone in town, including the school board. Because of this, Dylan didn't technically drop out of high school until he was forced to by the law. One day when he was skipping school, Dylan decided to break into a house. It was just for fun because his dad could buy him anything. Dylan was arrested. Because he was 18 and had been to juvie before, he would be tried as an adult for breaking and entering, and he was facing jail time. Dylan beat up a few cops, adding assaulting an officer to his list of felonies, and fled. His only plans include evading the police and not letting anyone know his criminal history.
Dylan is seen as an asshole, but he somehow can still get around. He just has a way of making girls feel special.

Please let me know if you'd like me to change anything. I am mostly brainstorming here but this is what I have in mind for my girl at the moment. I know I wrote more than I had to, so I'd also like to apologize for that.

- Be polite and respectful of all writers. This roleplay is LGBTQ+ friendly and no prejudice behaviour of any kind will be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Keep drama to IC
- Be ACTIVE. Post every other day if you can, but at least weekly- please inform the OOC or the GM personally if you'll be incapable of doing this.
- Reservations are not on a time limit because of the fact their free and unspecific but it'd be appreciated if all characters could be done a week from now so it's all ready to begin this time next week.
- Write over 300 words- always, I'm afraid I can't budge on this. Quality over quantity is true but if it's below this number, I personally believe it'd lack both quality and quantity because I don't think there's much you can say in so few words.
