Introduction
For the past three generations a minuscule quantity of humans have been born with a genetic fault leading to abnormal activity within the body, causing almost superhuman qualities. This defect has been come to known as a S.U.I.T. Standing for Supernatural Utilization Incursion Technique. The carriers of said gene malfunctions are simply known as Suits. Humans immediately viewed this new breed as a blight on existence and demanded their annihilation. The Hierarchy was an organization founded by humans to protect these unique beings from civil inequality and seek their worldwide acceptance. Because the populace would never have to live with or see these monsters, The Hierarchy was quickly accepted by all nations and openly took Suits from any decent. The organization quickly grew into a nation and offered a place for Suits to live without concern.
Suits live excellently in these conditions. A calm and successful new world in the making. A world without poverty or gap in demographic. A nation of industrial, scientific, and medicinal prowess. All Suits found or born were taken to the Hierarchy to be marked and live in the nation.
With such a vast myriad of powers the Hierarchy organized each power under a symbol found in card suits and marked them with a scar to represent their grouping.
Suits of Hearts: Powers dealing with or affecting the mind. Scar is a Heart on the chest.
IE: telekinesis, illusion, mind control, psychic, or telepathy
Suits of Clubs: Powers dealing with physical manipulation or stimulation of the body. Scar is a Club on the feet.
IE: Super strength, speed, shapeshifting, sensory, invisibility, healing
Suits of Diamonds: Powers dealing with manipulation of the elements. Scar is a Diamond on the back of hands.
IE: Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, Aerokinesis, Terraforming, Aquaforming, Metalforming, Electrokinesis
Suits of Spades: Unique, almost indistinguishable powers. Scar is a spade on the back.
IE: Necromancy, Infection, Dream-walking, ect.
Using this classification system, the Hierarchy has marked all Suits in existence. Not all Suits live within the Hierarchy, but are simply marked and attempt living normal lives although these are few. Those that are within the Hierarchical Nation are ranked by number or face in addition to their suit. For example 2-4 are worker ranks. 5-7 are soldier ranks. 8-10 are elite soldier ranks or management work positions. Jacks are soldiers that have also transcended into a position of political power such as Generals. Queens are female elitist soldiers, so adept as to acquire a position of aristocracy. Kings are elitist male soldiers that are adept as to acquire a position of aristocracy. Aces are the rulers of each suit and the controllers of the Hierarchy at it's core. While these numbers and faces exist the social gap between them is almost nonexistent.
As the original human founders of the Hierarchy passed away, leaving their positions to Suits, the organization became corrupt. The new Aces seek not social equality, but rather a world dominated by Suits. Although nothing has occurred yet, the Hierarchy plans to enlist or murder any Suit that is not under their grasp. Only a few short of a full house, the Hierarchy has not a great deal to fight until nothing can impede their power. The humans will fall to the Hierarchy and be dominated by them if nothing is done. However, many Suits see issue with that.
Suits that are not currently within the Hierarchy are about to be hunted mercilessly. As a character you have the option to live within the Hierarchy, or outside of it.

OTHER RULES:
1. Characters WILL die. If a character is in over their head they could very well lose their life, and there are no exceptions if a GM says it occurs. However, this does not mean GMs are exempt for this rule. Aces are just as mortal as everyone else, just much greater in power. But they can die, (I still don't recommend it :P.) We have decided though that if your character perishes, IE: A jack is killed in battle, they are allowed to make a new character, so long as the new character is not a Face. New characters will need to be approved just the same. Please do NOT make a 2nd character just because you fear for yours, and do not be overly cautious of your character, play as the character would anyway. Let the story play out, even if your character must die, and you will be rewarded in some way.
2. PLACE ORGANIZATION IS KEY. Post in the area which your character is currently at. IE: A Queen in the Spire is having a conversation with a King. We can't have 16 characters posting in the same place. Feel free to move between the areas, and be sure to keep up on the events of the other places to know what's going on.
Character Skeleton:
Picture: a picture of your character, anime, real or otherwise.
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Eye color:
Hair color:
Height:
Weight:
Appearance: brief description of what character wears, wields, and carries themselves
Personality: brief description of how character acts, likes, dislikes.
Suit: Suit marking character carries in accordance to their power
Power: in-depth description of characters power, be specific and nothing outrageous (ask in OOC if need be)

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 16 authors
The next thing he knew, a black kitten with flames jumped into his lap. "Awww. That's the cutest and coolest thing ever." Kintry began complaining about food. "They've got breakfast in the kitchen. If you want, I can smash down another wall and get you there."
Shortly after, the Queen of Hearts entered after having overslept. It didn't bother Ogar, such as the eavesdropper outside didn't bother him. As much as he didn't care about obeying a bunch of rules and instead doing whatever pleases him, he believed everyone else should have that right. If someone wanted to eavesdrop, let them eavesdrop. If someone wanted to sleep in til whatever, let them. It's just silly to obsess over trying to please everyone else.
As she saw the living room, it was just another day... with Ogar eager to destroy anything even if it was the whole spire, Kintry shapeshifting into whichever form she wanted, Lawrence seeming the most normal person there... as normal as a suit and ace can be. It was another morning. "The cove... well, I would suggest first to identify who is causing the problems, and then think what to do with the troublemakers. We can give the troublemakers the honor to be Ogar's playmates. What do you say?" The queen of hearts stated her opinion, without even knowing what exactly is the trouble. She came from a line of thought which said that 'If something isn't allright within the Hierarchy, there must be some kind of problem, and someone causing it'.
"Crimes in the Cove? Huh. The way I see it, it might just be easier if we waited just a little longer. Whatever it is petty thieves have done to piss you big names off, it must have been pretty brazen. If we delay a bit, then they'll think we just don't care. They'll try something even more stupid, and once they're out in the open, we can surround them and beat 'em down. Once their comrades get word that the forces of the Spire trashed their pals, they'll think twice before they do anything else contrary to your interests. That way, you get your criminals dead, Ogar and I get to crack some heads, and everyone is satisfied," The brash 10 proposed, grinning as she once more placed her hands in her pockets, kicking back against the wall in an entirely too carefree manner.
"Besides," Meira added. "A head-to-head battle is much more fun than sneaking and skulking about anyway. Wouldn't you say?"
She held the meat up to her nose and smelt it, before looking back at them; she wanted to eat it now, but wasn't sure on whether she should cook it now, or wait till later tonight. "By the way, my name is Nikki." She said, putting the meat in her bag, having the bread serrate it from her clothes. Trying to start a casual talk was a bit hard for her, but she felt like she had to say something; who knows, maybe one these guys could be useful for her in the future.
((Woops two Pandora's XD))
"If the crimes committed by those from the Cove are simply disturbing the Hierarchal citizens, I believe that we need to enforce order within the cove. This could be accomplished in many ways, but my personal suggestion is to send in at least a few units to... enforce the law in the Cove, which we've been much too lenient with. It's time to put then back in their place. They of all people are above nothing, certainly not the law," she finished. Pandora took a seat in a nearby vacant armchair, crossing her legs in a professional manner, showing that she meant business. When it came to matters of state, there was no room for tolerance.Β

At that last part she cpuldn't help but smile. They could all get out of tjis blasted spire if they took her plan into consideration. She would have to dress up but she was learning to get used to formal clothes. Police could be struck down, starting a riot. Spies could be found lut, plus hiding was not what royalty did. She really needed tp get out of here though. If they didn't have an idea that included her getting out, even for a bit, she would have to get out on her own, which she never did. Suits were to be protected, but she hated having guards, so instead of being rude and ordering them to leave her alone she just never left the building.
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Cove
Oh, cry me a river. I suppose such blind innocence is bliss. Or it's supposed to be. Stuck in a drastically over-dramatic scene within a corrupted society, better yet world, Eva couldn't help but wonder just how, exactly, someone living in a thriving black market could possibly sprout the words 'I'm sorry'. Or, even more ironic still, say this relatively childish phrase over just bumping into a random stranger. 'Funny, isn't it? I've knee'd in the groin for less. Or was that the time I punched your boyfriend in the face?' 'Actually, you repeatedly bashed his head into a wall. And they were in the middle of a little something, weren't they? Do you realize how long it's been since our little bird got any? Think of my reputation!' 'You had one? And here I thought your angelic chastity was screwing up the rest of us
All Eva could do was valiantly ignore her peanut gallery as the fourth, only female persona piped up an agitated, forlorn reply; directing her attention elsewhere before the tangent grew all the more distracting. Because, well, it certainly wouldn't be 'low profile' to start yelling at invisible voices in her head, in a presumably crime-infested city in the middle of some randomly popular street. Not that she particularly cared whether or not someone would jump her, but rather that the following consequences would probably catch the attention of the Hierarchy, wherever they were. And... being a one-man insurgent syndicate, among many rebellious organizations, that just wouldn't do. Hence why Eva actually bothered to watch the face-palm worthy incident consisting of a knife, dropped bread, meat, and several pretty high-strung individuals. There are so many things worse than knives, they'll probably never know. But then again, I guess not everyone needs to care as much as a wanted criminal.
The thought of which, as it usually did, bounced Eva back into 'alert-mode'; snapping her awareness up a notch amidst a gradually thinning crowd. It was unfortunate (in all terms of laziness), but this child was --still is-- horribly recognizable, and the backlash from it had came far too much in the past few weeks. Suits of all kinds, be they spies, rebels or soldiers, seemed to almost repeatedly assault her; and if Eva didn't happen to be so efficient with her abilities, she'd probably be some bloody mess on the floor. Just because, even if these enemy supernaturals weren't particularly strong, they came in freaking droves, whenever the two parties happened to meet. Oh, how it pays to be a Jack. But I'm damn well better than the Face I used to be, four years ago.
In any case, seeing as how the internal argument was still raging within the fragile confines of her mind, Eva had no particular choice but keep amusing herself with the passing situation; eating a well-enough lunch consisting of a muffin just a little ways away. The crowd, of course, had wholly disappeared by then; resorting to the crude nonchalance that she then exhibited. Well, suffice it to say that Eva was particularly bored: it was her day off from pissing off the Hierarchy (yes, it's her job. She takes requests from other rebel factions.), and the moment seemed to be one of those 'calm before the storm' types. So, well, she just kind of relaxed against a wall, watching the hustle and bustle of the Cove run by.
Because, in all brutal honesty, this kid couldn't possibly find it anywhere in herself to go and strike a conversation with those that she watched; purely since she just didn't believe that they could be of any help to her whatsoever. The older man, perhaps, but someone who would cry for a knife in the middle of the black market kind of.. says too much the definition of 'up-tight'. Really, don't be ridiculous. It's a cruel, cruel world out there. Personally, Eva had already lost all hope in teenagers a long time ago. So, well, that's pretty much why she just stood there. Whether or not she'd be proven wrong, though, is an entirely different matter altogether. 'Hey, help comes from the most unexpected places.' I find it hard to believe that i'd even want that help, coming from that place. But whatever floats your boat.
In the kitchen, he opened up the cupboard and pulled out a coffee cup, thankful someone had already gotten the coffee machine running. He poured himself a glass then, taking out a bag of sugar from the refrigerator, began to scoop some of the sweet powder into his cup. After scooping out the sugar multiple times and adding about nine scoops into his cup, he put the bag back in the refrigerator and twirled the black liquid around in his cup using his telekinesis. Honestly, to go this far because of a little rebelliousness in the cove, I don't get it. He thought to himself, taking a sip of the overly-sweet coffee, then coming back out into the living room and leaning his back against the wall closest to the kitchen. If Jace has some better reason to do something about the cove, he might as well spit it out already. Otherwise there is absolutely no point in me being here. I wouldn't mind going out for a bit. The library here is nice and all but I prefer antique stores. He took another drink of his coffee, listening as Rose finally main her input.
"I agree with Rose myself." he said, looking up from his cup. "We might as well not go about making a big deal out of it unless it's actually necessary. That will only anger the people in the cove more. Wouldn't you think taking a more resolved approach would be better? Going around using force all the time will just make us look reckless." His usual faint smile turned into a considerate, half smile and he slightly raised his eyebrow. "Also, as much fun as it is to toy with a few annoying minds now and then, today I just don't feel like breaking any bones, ya' know?" He said, taking another drink of his coffee, then frowning as he looked down into the cup to see that it was almost empty and the sugar that hadn't dissolved was piled at the bottom of the cup. Crap...I really don't want to walk all the way back into the kitchen and poor another one. This sucks..
The majority of the surrounding onlookers had broken up by now, but there were still those especially keen on seeing a fight. The first disappointed jeers reach Saunders from a small collective of bare-chested skinny smugglers, and receive in response a guttural growl. Wyvern's vocal chords can be seen to vibrate clearly in his throat, in craft and release of a most intimidating noise β as if it were a tyrannosaur, not a man, that bared his teeth towards the aggressors. βSod off!β Maxwell waves one of his escrima sticks in a wide arc, turning on the spot to look upon others who were joining in the attempt to stir up a fight, βyou bleedin' maggots! Nothin' goin' on here.β
Saunders continues to shout off the milling remnants, some offering crude incentives for a bit violence, until they begin to trickle away. It is then that, by complete chance, swivelling hazel eyes land upon a rare spectacle here in the Cove, one Wyvern is surprised isn't drawing as much attention as he. Something in the way the waning sunlight reflects a tantalising shimmer down the length of blonde curls that frame a form slender as it would to cause a stir in any red-blooded male. But it is more than beauty that keeps Saunders' eyes peeled, his expression softening from anger to an apprehensive curiosity. The way she stood, and observed, relaxed yet readied. Primed, as they were made through their training. Prepared to become deadly at the snap of a finger. Whenever he'd seen them in the past his response was immediate, situational and instinctive β strike before they could, or run. Yet this one... Maxwell exhibits a moment of intense focus, his lips peeling back in revelation of a gritted teeth, while the walls of his nostrils flared with a powerful snort. He has her scent now, and could trace it later. This in mind, Wyvern tears his gaze away from Evita, and projects it onto Nikki.
βNo problem, doll,β he speaks in casual response, and lifts his arms to replace the escrima sticks within their binds on the inside of his jacket, hidden from view, βthey call me Wyvern, and so should you. Hey, you kids spent long in the Cove before now? Couple-a places you want to avoid. Say, guy, lemme see that meat β and don't wet your knickers again, I got money.β

Her thoughts then turned to the 10 of spades. Flynn wondered why the girl was even here. She wasn't really an "important" face card like the rest. It seemed like more than one were already getting a bit irritated with the girl. Flynn felt that the girl reminded her of herself at that age. This only made her dislike the girl more, for whatever reason. Flynn finally understood the irritation her superiors felt when she never seemed to listen, not that she in any way regretted it.
Flynn's attention came back to Jace as seemed to scold several people in the room, herself, Ogar, and Kintry included. I am completely calm, she thought almost angrily to herself. He began explaining the situation at the Cove. Some sort of rebellion? Or was it really just increase crime? Flynn didn't think he would call such a meeting if it was only the latter. Several people gave their opinion, a few of which she thought were valid solutions. However, before she could really come up with something to do, she did need to know more.
"What sort of crimes are they committing?" she said in a nearly demanding tone.
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Spire
She then merely giggled, that smile back on her face as she glanced around the room. She watched as Lawrence went off to the kitchen, and her stomach growled very loudly. "Well if he gets to go, I'm going!" She pushed herself off of Ogar, and then made her way to the iced-over door. She put her finger on her lips, wondering how the previous had gone in and out unless there was a door she wasn't seeing. She shrugged, smiling merrily to herself and shifted into a bird-like creature. The temperature around her rose viciously, and the Ace of Clubs, now a phoenix, stepped lightly through the ice, having it melt immediately around her. After she was through the tiny obstacle, she turned, bowed, smiled cheekily, and then turned after saying a quick "I'll be back".
The girl then ran quickly through the hallways, immediately going to the fridge and taking out a bunch of cold food ranging from pancakes to bacon, to cake and juice, as well as strawberries and other sugary high-calorie sweets and the like. She shifted onto her tiptoes and took out a container of maple syrup, going all out on those pancakes. The syrup oozed out, amassing on top until the breakfast food was more than completely drenched. The gooey substance was even beginning to overflow the plate. Happily, she rocked on her heels before plopping down, beginning to tuck into everything cold. She really didn't have any time to heat it up, nor did she care much anyway.
Now having satisfied her avid hunger and licking her platters and silverware clean, she got up, stretched, washed her hands, and took a few moments to digest the food a bit before taking out a bag of jumbo marshmallows. Satisfied with herself, Kintry returned back into the room, walking straight towards Lawrence before grabbing his mug and running two fingers along the bottom, gathering up most of the sugar before landing on the plush carpet that surrounded the sofa which Ogar was sitting on. The fem then viciously ripped open the bag on marshmallows before taking one and wiping her fingers, and then popping the rest of them into her mouth one by one, holding it protectively close to herself, having no intention of sharing.
No, idiots. I'm a 10 because I don't care about you or your Hierarchy. Leave the paperwork and the boring stuff to these old geese, I say. I'd much rather enjoy myself than be an egotistical and uptight shut-in. The teleporter thought derisively, giving an amused, carefree, and overall rather insulting laugh.
"Oh? Alright then, little kitten," She chuckled mockingly. "Do as you like. If being a boring old grouch before my time is what it takes to attend in such esteemed company, then I think I'll pass. No motivation, you see. I'd rather play! Rely on you old codgers in a pinch." Plucking a marshmellow from her pocket - specifically one that had just been inches away from Kintry's mouth the previous second, and had suddenly and inexplicably vanished thanks to Meira's powers - she tossed it down her throat, gave a carefree wave, turned and, placing her hands in her pockets, walked apathetically into a wall, and vanished with a last taunting laugh.
The setting changes from Present Day Earth to The Spire
He let out a sigh and watched the girl vanish from the room after passing around what seemed like a few insults. "Geeze, she sure makes me feel like an old man. Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." He mumbled then smiled as he turned his attention back to the other suits in the room. "Then again, apart from The Hulk and Cat Woman, you all look pretty grumpy today." He joked. The empty coffee cup floated away from his hand and he gently let it glide across to the room and placed it on the coffee table in front of the couch in the center of the room. "So, how bout we get this meeting over with." He said, then let his eyes focus on Jace. "What is it exactly that's got you all worked up huh?" he asked, his smile still on his face but his light green eyes were clearly serious.

"Why are we still talking?" Ogar asked, nearly yelling. "We need to go out there and attack the problem head on! If we see somebody causing a problem, we stomp them! It isn't that hard!" He stood up, to emphasize his point. "Whatever we need to do. Kill them. Kill their family. Destroy their homes. Destroy their businesses. We send the message that trouble making behavior will not be tolerated. And if that doesn't make it stop, we keep going. And we'll keep going until all of the Cove is annihilated. Either way, we rid ourselves of the problem."
Ogar sat back into the couch. "Or we can stay here and talk some more. The problems get worse and worse. Doesn't matter to me much."

Dmitri adjusted the way his hat sat on his head, before brushing his hands off and crossing his arms again. He had given his two cents in comparison in the direction the conversation seemed to be going so far. Whatever was decided, he would support of course, but he was offering alternatives. He had to wonder if anyone would listen that had a serious say in the matter.

She sighed and rubbed her temples, mumbling, "I hate mornings like these." Before continuing. "I guess it just depends on the severity of the problem. However." She gives a stern look over to Ogar. "Killing everybody is not the answer. We can't go on with in heirarchy if we don't have anybody to govern. We might as well not do anything if we destroy everything we rule over."
"Rose-Kiva, I'm sure that with the combined forces of the upper hierarchy, it would be so simple to wipe them all out! Please don't underestimate the power of the Aces!" The girl was obviously playful, having absolutely no crossness whatsoever. "I mean, I'd need a whole BLOODY lot of food, but still!" Kintry spread her arms out wide as she emphasized 'lot', her head tilting back for the same reason. She then shrugged, giggling ever so softly. She smiled at Dmitri, but a smirk soon entwined on her lips as well. She quickly got up, settled back on the couch and having discarded her now-empty marshmallow bag, she turned into an owl, swept down over to him and plucked his hat right off of his head by the rim and dip in the design. Landing a couple feet away from him, the girl returned back to normal, placing the hat on her own head with a sweet and all-too-innocent smile. She then flashed him a wink, sticking out her tongue. Her features practically screamed 'if you want your hat back, you'll have to come get it~'. Just for good measure, the Ace placed one hand on the top, making sure he couldn't just use telekinesis to grab it off. That was cheating.
