Space: The Final Frontier.
It is interesting to look at the current events of this time, and compare it to the history I have lived through. Many things are very similar. Others are very different.
On March 22, 2233, The USS Kelvin was attacked by a Romulan mining ship from the 24th century. Because this ship arrived from the distant future, people died who were never supposed to die, and so this attack, quite literally, change the universe.
Forever.
James Tiberius Kirk, who was born that very day, assumed command of the USS Enterprise 25 year later, becoming one of Starfleet’s youngest Starship Captains. And I, or rather a younger of myself in this alternate reality, served as his First Officer.

These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.

To seek out new life and new civilizations…
To boldly go where no man has gone before.
