Introduction

Star Wars is copyright of LucasArts. I do not claim any involvement in the production, creation, design, etc. of the series.

The Jedi Academy houses the beginning of the Jedi. Here, students will undergo the training required to become one with the Force. To join the ranks of the Order, that is their wish. But, it's easier said then done. Numerous trials, dangerous obstacles, and the pressure from others constantly sway potential Jedi from their training. Here on Coruscant, you must learn to deal with the anxiety of the Academy, or fail entirely and be forever outcasted...

The city world of Coruscant houses the well known Jedi Academy within it's endless sea of buildings. A transport vessel flies through the densely populated areas, navigating it's way through traffic jams and speeding vehicles. Aboard this vessel are four students, all ranged from 12-16. They are special, each bestowed with a special gift. Each has been chosen by a Jedi to start training among the others in the Jedi Academy. Yes, there is an age limit, however, the Council has lifted this law temporarily. These children are different. They must undergo the training of the Order, before the pull of the dark side becomes to great for them to handle. Some have already welcomed it's presence, while others try desperately to reject it. Each naturally gifted, each a possible ally or enemy to the Jedi Order..

One is incredibly force-sensitive. The powers that flow through this child match none their age. They are able to control massive objects, control the mind much easier then most Knights of the Order. Yet, they are arrogant, and boastful. The sheer power the Force has left the child with a cocky attitude, and unstable control of their powers. They are difficult around authority, and lack the proper respect towards their teachers. However, this does not stop them from wanting to learn. This child strives for knowledge, wanting nothing but the wisdom to control every aspect of the Force. (Taken by Kenzi)

Another gifted prodigy can brandish some of the best fighting ever witnessed. What this child can do with a vibroblade is remarkable. Their hands are a blur when put up to a battle, and this child is quick to cut down their opponent. They take no time for breaks, and work diligently to become the best fighter in the known universe. Hard work and training runs this being's life. Despite this amazing feat, they are shy and quiet. Nervous around others, because they see themselves differently. But this child is well behaved, and a quick learner. What they lack in power, they make up for in lighting fast strength. Combine that with an above average level of Force energy, and child number two became an instant interest in the Order. (Taken by Head_Over_Heels)

The third child, cunning and clever, holds a massive knowledge of the Force. Their power itself is lacking, but the abilities this child is able to manifest outshines the Masters themselves. They are extremely force-sensitive, able to tap into unknown reserves and appear to have an immense amount of energy. But because of their already gifted brain, the basics are a thing of the past, and this child focuses on producing more advanced styles of fighting. Heavily relying on the force, this student tires easily, and can be rather lazy. They would much rather sleep then learn, but have a keen ear, able to pick up things farther away. Still, this doesn't help them in controlling their desire to conjure more advanced methods of the Force, which leads to experimenting and disaster. (Taken by HiddenNymph)

Child number four is gifted all around. They have a quick hand and strong mind. A mostly calm and reserved child, this student doesn't hesitate and waits for no one. They're relatively stubborn, and would rather improve their abilities then listen to a lecture. Melee and the force go hand in hand, allowing them to use a combination of the two simultaneously. This child can become much more capable, if they had only focused on one form, instead of going for it all. But, despite being well rounded, they are behind the other students. Wanting to keep a balanced style slows this child's progression through their training. But, with time and great patience, they can easily become a surpassing Jedi Master. (Taken by CageValcore)

Master Koji stood patiently outside the Jedi temple, gazing at the crowded air ways above. It was still early, but the members of the temple had been awake for several hours now. Koji was no exception. He had been preparing for the arrival of the four new students. Now, the last thing to do was to wait. His mind wandered for a brief moment, going over various training exercises. He soon heard the familiar sound of the Temple's personal transport vessel. Once it had landed, the droid pilot stepped out, hitting a button that raised the door on the side of the vehicle. "Right on time. As usual FA-5." Thank you Sir. I have brought the students as asked. The droid whizzed over to the Jedi, handing him a data pad. Here are the files you asked for Sir. Koji took the data pad, scimming it over for a few seconds before slipping it into a pouch on his belt. "Thank you FA-5. That'll be all." Yes Sir. The droid turned, without another word, and walked back to the craft.

As the students disembarked, he studied each carefully. It was hard to picture them as capable as Koji had heard. But, he had learned to never be fooled by appearance alone. "Welcome younglings. I am Alex Koji. A Master here at the Temple. I would like each of you to calmly state your name and age."

The buzz and hum of the ship as they traveled calmed Talin's thoughts as she sat away from the others, her eyes closed as her head leaned back against the cold metal of the ship. She thought of Shawn, and of what he could be doing at the moment, wondering if he was thinking of her as well. Just thinking of her guardian brought a small smile to her face, the expression staying present until she felt the ship slowing down.

Without a word, the young women stood as the ship came to a stop, paying no mind to the others as she began to move down the walkway, her long, wavy dark hair shifting with each movement as her eyes landed on the figure of a man below them. He was tall, muscular, and obviously had a lot of training in....whatever it was they were here for. As she came to a stop, Talin felt the presence of the other three children beside her, not turning to look at them, but knowing that they were there nonetheless. "My name is Talin Serran, and I am sixteen years old." She said softly, responding to the man's question before the others had, not meeting anyone's gaze as she stood with her arms crossed in front of her.

Inala walked down the halls of the Jedi Acadamy looking over a data pad as she walked, the whole temple was abuzz because of the new arrivals on their way. Newly appointed to the office of master she was still getting into the groove of no lounger being just a knight. She finally skimmed over the message that she should meet, Master Koji at the landing entrance with the new students. "Oh no I'm late!", she began to pick up pace and run to the receiving area, she was unfamiliar with Master Koji, she assumed that he had not been a master long either. She knew he had not been a master when she was a padawan, maybe he wasn't so much older than she that she would feel young and foolish around him like she did around many of the masters.

When she made it to the receiving area, she bowed to master Koji, "I am sorry for my tardiness master Koji", she apologized, she looked at the group of young students and smiled, "Young ones forgive me I am Inala Hinai, it is a pleasure to meet you all, and I am a newly appointed master here".

Aziel sat on his seat within the ship that drifted through the air so naturally, its bumpy moments when it hit air pressure unsettled Aziel making him frown and he pulled his arms crossed across his chest closer. The sound of humming was unnatural to him as he was unused to travelling in such crafts. Living at an orphange all your life meant you really didn't get out much after all, not to mention nothing had ever really interested him that much in the first place back on his home planet.
Closing his eyes he let his head lie back against the metal of the ship trying to relax and have a nap for the course of the journey to a place he had been told was for 'Jedi training'.

When the ship came to a halt he remained seated until everyone else had stumbled off, standing himself he walked out in a lazy manner dragging his feet slightly his eyes darting around his new surroundings taking in what he could. The man who stood before them seemed pretty muscular, probably confident within himself more than anything. The woman who was late seemed like someone easy to trick in his eyes considering how late she was as the tone of voice suggesting she may trusting, not to mention that she claimed to be a new master.
Yawing under the pretence he was bored Aziel scratched the back of his head his plain beige sleeves baggy on his arms as he muttered out β€œAziel Nuroy. Sixteen”

Koji glanced over his shoulder as Inala ran over to him. He'd heard of her recent advance to Master, and was more pleased then upset. I am sorry for my tardiness master Koji "Think nothing of it Inala." He replied, turning back to the students. He listened to each as they spoke their names and age. Although, one student, Aziel. He seemed rather lazy. That one's going to need a few pushes here and there. The other two seemed a little out there as well. It appeared as the students didn't really fit in with the normal age group. But, that was the main reason the Council allowed them to come. They were different. Unique. And they could easily become great Jedi. They just needed the proper training. Koji thought back to some words of wisdom from his former master as he waited for the last student to state themselves.

Daiyu had spent the flight at the opposite end of the ship as the other β€œchildren”, not wishing to converse with them. She lounged on the chair, long lean legs crossed in a sexual way as she tossed her raven locks over one shoulder. Her ice blue eyes flicked from one person to the next, taking them in. The red head seemed far too pleasent and bubbly for her liking, the brunette was quiet and reserved almost like a mouse, and the boy had been asleep nearly the whole time.

β€œComplete waste of my time.” Daiyu muttered, shifting her weight to extract her light saber. Her parents had bought it when she was young, having known that the force was strong with her, but she had never been presented it by them... for they had been murdered before she had come of age.
The craft landed not long after, dragging the young woman from her thoughts. She slipped the light saber back into her belt and stood. Usually she would have shoved these lesser individuals to the side and gone down first, but she wanted to observe them some more. None of them seemed too interested in her, which suited her just fine.

As the students disembarked, he studied each carefully. It was hard to picture them as capable as Koji had heard. But, he had learned to never be fooled by appearance alone. "Welcome younglings. I am Alex Koji. A Master here at the Temple. I would like each of you to calmly state your name and age."

Daiyu was the last off the ship, and stood a few feet to the side as though she didn’t want to be lumped in with those lackies. While Aziel struck a lazy uninterested pose, Talin avoiding gazes, and Lucrestsia waving, Daiyu placed one hand strongly on her hip and met the gaze of Koji without any hint of nervousness.

"My name is Talin Serran, and I am sixteen years old." She said softly, responding to the man's question before the others had, not meeting anyone's gaze as she stood with her arms crossed in front of her.

Daiyu inwardly scoffed at the girl’s soft greeting. Whether she was talented or not, she was not going to get any where with that sort of attitude. Before she could think about it any more, however, another jedi master approached. It was a rather pretty woman, though any good thoughts Daiyu had had of the woman instantly disappeared when she not only admitted to being late but also admitted to being new in her position. Not the wisest of greetings.
Upon arriving at the Temple she walks out behind all the other students, Placing her Light-Saber on her belt. She smiles at Master Koji as he speaks, And She Waves to Master Inala when she speaks- "I am Lucrestsia Valoris Age 16" -She says in her strong beautiful voice-
To Daiyu, Lucrestsia seemed so vivacious that she would not have been surprised if she burst into song and started handing out diasys. Once again the young raven haired girl was left wondering why in the hell she was here.

Yawing under the pretence he was bored Aziel scratched the back of his head his plain beige sleeves baggy on his arms as he muttered out β€œAziel Nuroy. Sixteen”

There. That settles it. She’s going home.

β€œI am Daiyu Zhen, age 16.” She said, last to introduce herself, a slight air of irritation in her voice at the disgust in the other three children. Though she wanted to tell the whole lot to piss off, she bit her tongue for the time being with the hopes that something interesting could come of this... though she doubted it.

Jedi Master Jin-Tai had just finished his morning tea and meditation cycle and was walking through the temple with a holo-pad, looking over the basic information of the new arrivals. He was well aware that they had already arrived, and he was supposed to be there to greet them. But, he believed everything in good time. He would go to them now. Besides, he had never been late in his life, a Jedi Master arrives precisely when he means to. Jin-Tai chuckled to himself quietly, his old master had said that too many times to count. Suddenly he stopped and fashioned his hands into a traditional Zabrak prayer, praying for the eternal peace for his former master. He then looked up and continued moving.

As he walked through the temple, many people greeted him with respect. He nodded to those under him and responded to other council masters that passed him by. He eventually made it outside. He stopped at the top step and took in a big breath of the morning air. The temple guards saluted him and he nodded to them. He then made his way down the steps and over to the group of younglings. He was about 20 feet away when he heard the last student introduce themselves. He then walked up and stepped into the gap between Koji and Hinai and nodded to both of them. He then let his yellow eyes gaze over the new students, no expression on his face. They did not fill him with confidence, then again, that's why they were here. He towered over all of them and looked them over thoroughly. A few already had lightsabers, so he guessed there was no need to send them into the crystal cave. He decided he should speak.

"I am Jedi Master Jin-Tai." he said in a deep baritone voice. "Masters Koji, Hinai and I are here to help you with anything you can think of. Do not be afraid to ask us for anything. I must emphasize that you must not be afraid. You may think you are alone, but the other three children that came with are the same as you, whether you accept it or not." Jin-tai said in a strict monotone. "It is a great honor to be given the chance you have been given. It has never been done before, because children like you have never existed before. You should feel honored, and humbled by this experience. It is my hope that all seven of us would be fast friends." Jin-Tai then looked at all of their faces with an expressionless stare. "Now, I'm sure you have questions. Most of your questions will be answered over the process of your training, but if you have anything you want to ask or say to any of us or your fellow padawans, you may do so now."

Talin listened intently to each word, hearing everything that the Master's were saying and taking it in, though she didn't quite show it. She was normally a good listener, and didn't always like to speak very much, that was obvious, but for some strange reason, she always seemed to take things in better when she didn't appear to be paying any attention. The appearance of Inala caused Talin to raise her gaze and look at the new arrival with a slight look of confusion and surprise. To her, a Jedi Master should never be late.

As Jin-Tai arrived not long after, Talin decided to take the respectful route and dip her head slightly to each of the three Masters, wanting to show that she had some respect for her elders. After a moment more, she glanced around at the other students, noticing that they all seemed to not really want to be here, especially the girl named Daiyu. For some unknown reason, this girl in particular seemed to resent everything around her at the moment. And then there was the one called Lucrestsia. She seemed different as well, though she was more just friendly and open then angry. And finally, there was the boy, Aziel. He seemed to just not care at all, and Talin had the feeling that he was probably not even going to try in future training missions.

After Jin-Tai had finished speaking, Talin spoke up. "I do have one question: will we demonstrate our skills now, or during our first training session? I know that we were chosen to come here because of what we can do, but what I would like to know is if you want to see us in action as soon as possible." This time, as Talin spoke, her voice was stronger, more forward as she raised her eyes to look at each of the Masters that stood before her, waiting patiently for her answer as her hand slowly drifted to her side, from where her light saber was tucked away.

Inala looked over at Jin and swallowed she didn't realize that he was a Zabrak, the father species of her people. The Singing Moutain Clan was a branch of the Night Sisters that chose to work in the light side of the force instead of the dark side like the Night Sisters. She had never seen a fool blooded Zabrak, the males of her clan resembled them but were not as intimidating. But he seemed different than what she had been told by her fellow clansman, she would not judge him but still it was hard for her to act indifferent when you were told stories as a child.

"I am Jedi Master Jin-Tai." he said in a deep baritone voice. "Masters Koji, Hinai and I are here to help you with anything you can think of. Do not be afraid to ask us for anything. I must emphasize that you must not be afraid. You may think you are alone, but the other three children that came with are the same as you, whether you accept it or not." "Now, I'm sure you have questions. Most of your questions will be answered over the process of your training, but if you have anything you want to ask or say to any of us or your fellow padawans, you may do so now."

His deep voice was almost soothing to her, and giving the reassurance to the young ones, impressed her so she was able to calm herself a bit. She was sure by now he could sense her unease with him so she worked hard to calm herself. "I think that we should get the young ones in and settled into, their rooms before we test their abilities", she said.

"I agree with Master Hinai." Koji replied. "We'll let the four of you settle in for a moment before we start any training. While it is important, mastering the arts of the Jedi cannot be done half way. You have to be fully devoted into your training. Apart of which involves meditation and relaxation. Your bodies and minds will be thrown through much while you're here. If you do not recieve the proper amount of rest your bodies will break." He turned on his heel, taking a few steps towards the Temple before stopping. "Master Hinai, will you please show the students to their rooms. I need to speak with Master Tai for a moment." Koji nodded to the third Jedi, motioning him to follow as he walked off to the side. While training the children was their primary goal, the Masters were still responsible for upholding peace within the Order. Koji waited until the students were out of hear shot before he spoke in a hushed tone.

"Two Jedi were attacked on Dantoonie during a Mandolorian raid. A master and a student. The student fell, and the Master was severly injured." He paused for a moment to hand over the data pad he'd recieved from the droid pilot. "Apparently the Mandolorians have been inhabiting the planet for a few months now, and wish to show their dominance. I know this will be brought up during the next Council meeting. I'd like to send a team of Jedi there to possibly route out the threat, but obviously it's up to the Council as a whole. What do you think?"

"Young one if you would follow me", she said as she nodded to Master Koji, she felt a little left out of the loop but that was something she would have to deal with. She motioned for the new students to follow, "I'll first taking the girls to their rooms and then I will take you to the boys dorms", she said to the group. She wondered what was happening, that Master Koji would take Master Jin-Tai and not her, then she looked back at the students, "Well someone had to take care of them", she thought to herself. She was letting her emotion run too much.

Aziel could only roll his eyes and openly scoff as the girl Daiyu introduced herself after him. She was clearly irritated by the tone her voice, all of the other students with him had annoying traits in his eyes, Talin seemed far too harmless with her soft voice and with that wave Lucrestsia fashioned he could almost puke at her enthusiasm.
This was definitely going to be a long few years in training, why did he want to become a Jedi again? Oh, that was right, to get away from the slumps of the orphanage he grew up in.

Seeing another late master he could only sigh leaning on one leg already finding the introductions a drag, however when Talin actually responded to him about any questions he could already sense she was going to try and be an overachiever with "I do have one question: will we demonstrate our skills now, or during our first training session? I know that we were chosen to come here because of what we can do, but what I would like to know is if you want to see us in action as soon as possible."

He really had no desire to show of his 'talents' as others called it, he had just gotten off a moving ship after a rather tiresome journey why on earth would she want to rush into action now? Strange kid he concluded.

He was so relieved to hear their new master Inala suggest they go to their rooms, not caring for who led them as the master Koji spoke to her about leading them there and wanting a word with master Jin-Tai Aziel stretched both his arms to rest behind his head relaxed striding forward and past the three masters just after Inala mentioned something about going to the girls dorms first.

"Fine, I don't care, is my room large or is it just going to be a cubby? I would prefer something larger" he spoke a little cocky with attitude continuing forward towards the temple on his own. He wanted space to lounge around in if not practice the advanced techniques he was developing.

So sorry guys I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to get on. So whats the hold up?

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

When did I imply I wanted you gone? If I did I would have told you or kicked you. I haven't had any problems with your grammar. But you already ditched your character so oh well.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

-Sigh- I cant Read fast enough to keep up with this. not that any one cares .... GM wanted me gone before we started over just my Grammar any way >.>

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Hey guys, sorry for not posting earlier. If you didn't hear, the southwest got hit with a black out and my power didn't come on until about 5 this morning. Anyway, posted.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Hello! Sorry for the delay. I have been at the hospital 24/7 these past few days because my father had a kidney transplant. Been waiting 8 years for one!!

Anywho, Daiyu's profile is complete and I posted :)

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Sorry for the wait people xD I had a busy weekend. But now that we've got all seven characters I'll go ahead and start :D

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Like I said I think I was just being anal I don think peeps are gonna freak out about it.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

I really don't think it's that big of a deal.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Gosh, now I feel bad guys! You could have used the pic if you wanted to!

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Well I'm not gonna change unless the GM says so.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

I had originally made my character with the picture head over heels used for clothing and then saw they had used it so I had to start from scratch. That's why its taken me a bit

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

You know what I just noticed something, that the clothing picture Head over Heels used and the picture for my character entirely, are the same jedi. XP. Is that a problem or do I need to find a different picture, maybe I'm just being anal and its no big deal.

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

@Sneaky: The Masters are just teachers. I wanted a lesser number of masters then students. They aren't going to teach one child individually. They'll be teaching the whole group, so I figured having a small amount would be better. If this somehow confuses you then welcome to the inner workings of my brain :D

Re: [OOC] Star Wars: Jedi Academy

Putting finishing touches on my gal.
