The Rise of a Sith Lord
Twenty years to this day the Jedi Revan left for unknown space, yet to be seen or heard from by any in the order, Along with the Exile who followed him to the outer reaches years later after ending the Sith Alliance of Sion, Traya, and Nihilius. A newly christend dark lord has risen from the ashes of war in an attempt to take advantage of the still recovering Republic, who is still rebuilding from the previous events. Darth Vassisk, Sith master to Darth Sion, has been building his army from the shadows and training his Apprentices in secret for the last century, and has finally stepped into view and wasted no time with his assualt on the outer rim. He is slowly and carefully working his way aroung the galaxy with the aid of apprentices who have been reported as the generals of his fleet, destroying any and all Jedi who stand in the way.
The Sith
Little is know of the group other than what has been learned through sith holocrons, which hint that Vassisk has exsisted since the end of the great hyperspace war, so far the Jedi have been cautious with engaging him, as a sith that ancient must hold great power.
Darth Vassisk- An anchient Sith Lord who has had ties with many of the past Sith leaders dating back to Exar Kun.
Sirus Kattal- A fallen Jedi Knight who sided with Darth Sion and the Sith Alliance who later became the senior apprentice under Vassisk.
Marrik Javaris, The Jedi Hunter- Very little is known about Marrik other than his name and that he is human, due to the fact that he only leaves charred limbs and ash in his wake
Kyran Zapaka- A man raised from day one as a sith warrior, It is rumored that his command and power over the force is strong enough to pull an entire fleet of ships to the ground
Miran Lata'am- The junior apprentice, and perhaps the most sinister, she wields the deadly power of coercion, a recent report from a republic scout tells of how she forced him to kill his own team and return home as an example.
Act 1: Nar'Shaddaa
Three Young Jedi Knights have been tasked with traveling to Nar'Shaddaa, in search of skilled help in the form of non-force sensitive warriors, the plan is to gather a covert team who can travel the galaxy undetected by the sith as they grant aid to the failing Republic across a multitude of systems. The orders were simple, Find as many skilled individuals as the current ship could hold and report back to the Enclave with the help, but as the young knights soon learn, the dangerous city streets of Nar'Shaddaa are not to be underestimated.
Master Helsha'Tar's Commentary
Smugglers
A Questionable lot, they make thier living by less than legitimate means, but the skill of a good Smuggler is undeniable, Extremely crafty and resourcful, making the most out of the least and using thier surroundings to gain an advantage in dire situation. Most are edgy and cautious due to the line of work they partake in and many carry a blaster pistol at all times, some have an uncanny knack for repairing machines and droids, hacking computer systems, and others are highly capable pilots. Don't be quick to judge a Smuggler should you meet one on your travels, thier help may save your life more than once in the trials to come.
Rouges
Theives and hired guns usually, a Rouge is no stranger to the battlefield, they avoid the front lines in favor of surprising enemies with flanks and ambushes to gain an advantage. Masters of stealth and espionage, the rouge is just as capable of sneaking past a group of enemies as she is killing them. Rouges are well aware of thier skill and many you come across won't be willing to help you without incentive, such is the way of the world outside of the temple.
Troopers
Warriors in every sense of the word, Republic soldiers, Mandalorians, and even the occasional Wookie. These Soldiers cling to the honor gained from defending something precious to them or the glory of ending his enemies life on the battlefield. Most of the Soldiers you'll find on Nar'Shaddaa have seen combat more times than some of the Jedi masters here in the Enclave, These Troopers have an unmatched skill with battle rifles and heavy repeaters, dropping most opponents before they have the chance to react. You may not have trouble finding aid in with this group, the idea of taking up arms against a common threat should be enough.
Mercenaries
When i say mercenary, i do not mean the lawless thrall that populate most every city in the galaxy, i of course mean the skilled bounty hunters behind the legends and tall-tales of the underworlds. They charge a considerable amount, as is only worthy for the best work, they are feared on the battlefield and most are skilled in Melee combat or close range blaster weapons, preferring modified blaster pistols for quick and precise assaults. Mercenaries usually prefer the "Front Door Method" rushing in and overwhelming enemies with higher precision and supirior firepower. The Mercenaries and Bounty Hunters of which i speak will usually require great incentive in exchange for their aid, but the skill they bring is worth every credit.
Droids
As you know Droids can perform a mulitiude of services but should you come across a combat or utility droid while on your journey dont be quick to let the oppourtunity slip through your grasp, as a well managed droid can more often than not be your greatest ally. The Jedi have a long history of keeping droids as companions, as can be seen by the personality programming found in most droids these days, which was developed by a Jedi knight long ago who spent most of his time tinkering with machinery. Usually the greater use the droid is, the more it will cost, if need be i will turn a blind eye to any coercion needed to obtain such a droid, as the fate of the galaxy is far more important than one mans wallet.
