The City of Light is hidden deep in the mountains of Japan, where snow falls thick in winter and the sun shines bright in summer. Unlike any normal city, however, Hikarishi is entirely devoted to the prestigious Chishiki Academy: a boarding school created specifically for those who feel a need to get away from home - and for those who don't have a home at all. In this city, there are two teens who couldn't be more different: Satoshi, the infamous rebel who couldn't be more socially awkward; and Natsuki, recluse and unintentional crush magnet. Satoshi has been in love with Natsuki since they first met during his first year at the academy, and Natsuki is oblivious. XXX
As the two slowly begin to grow closer in friendship, it becomes apparent that Satoshi's feelings might be mutual. Unfortunately, the poor boy's life is full of drama, and there might be a lot of bad that happens before he can get anywhere with Natsuki. The biggest problem? If he'll actually confess to him. XX
