Vinnie walked in quietly listening to the director speak.

Zack glanced over at Jada then at the boy who walked in. He offered a smile to the boy ((Vinnie)) and anyone who came in. "I know there are still a few people out, but they should be here soon. As I said, my name is James Miles. Welcome to Camp Fantasia. There are rules, and number one is Never Leave the safety of the Wall... The wall surrounds the whole camp, and anything we will be using or doing this summer. The lake outside behind this cafeteria, is connected a natural river, and the river goes through the wall where we put a grate. please try and stay away from the grate, due to high strength water currents." he smiled. Zack cleared his throat as quiet as he could.

Lindsey followed after Vinnie and looked at the camp director curiously. She sat down and listened to him.

Vinnie smiled back politely and thought about what he was saying

Lindsey raised her hand. "Sir, I don't get it. What's so dangerous about what's outside the wall?" She lowered her hand, hoping the question wasn't too rude.

Looks at Lindsey and shrugs, deciding it was a legitimate question in his mind.

"Just saying..." Lindsey said awkwardly.

James looked at her silently until she spoke again... "Legally it is our responsibility as a camp to keep you safe... Outside the walls, there are...." He stopped himself then spoke again carefully "wild animals, bears, mountain lions, snakes, poison ivy poison oak, dangerous plants and animals that are kept out easily by the wall.. Trust me. Going out there is dangerous. And against the rules..." He said staring atnher for a few more moments before his smile returned and he looked away to continue talking.

Zack looked at Lindsey. She had a very good question.. Zack liked nature, he knew how to be careful, but it was against rules... james finished hisnlecture and then dismissed the kids. They had eaten dinner in the cafeteria and had a bonfire before bed...

((OOC alright, to keep this RPG alive, let's skip to where we were all asleep in our cabins, and we wake up to find James acting weird. A child has gone missing, but the other campers (besides our characters) don't seem to remember the kid at all, as if it was removed from their memory completely. Lindsey woke up with a scream of alarm. She had just had the most horrible dream. Her bunk mate, a girl named Carla, had just disappeared right before her brown eyes. "Now, Lindsey," she scolded herself. "The dream was probably not true. And I can prove it to you." She carefully went to the bottom bunk and pulled the sheets back. "See, nothing to fret about—what in the name of–"
The bed was empty. Lindsey gingerly touched the mattress."It seems there is no sign I ever had a bunk mate, but Carla–she–I mean–" A thought occurred to her. "The bathroom!" She bolted towards it at top speed and did a thorough check. Nobody was there.

Zackary had tossed and turned all night last night... His dreams were quite strange. His cabin mate--Roary--was being dragged away screaming, pulled by some shadowy looking creature. He woke up and climbed down the top bunk. He saw no one was in the bottom, nor the bathroom.. He yelled when he saw a trail of strange black slime from the bottom bunk out of the cabin door. He raced out of the cabin--fully dressed since he fell asleep in a fresh pair of clothes--still yelling, now yelling for James. "James james! Roary... He's missing!! There's a trail of black slime and.."he panted from running. James looked at him with wide eyes then shook his head and looked confused. "Who's Roary?" He asked. Zackary tried to explain it was his cabin partner then dragged him to the cabin.. Mysteriously the black slime wasn't there anymore. No trace of it either... Zackary stood there wide eyed and horrified.

Lindsey groaned in frustration. "What do you mean 'there was never a Carla Vargas'? I'm telling you–"
"Ew, go away, Psychic Psycho." the girl she was talking to said. "I don't have time for a maniac."
"I am NOT a maniac!"
She sighed sadly. "My best friend–gone–" Another thought occurred to her. "Maybe one of the boys knows."
Lindsey made her way to the boys' cabins, where she could make out only one person. She snuck over and tapped him on the shoulder. "Um, Zackary, right? I have a problem. My best friend has gone missing and everybody has been acting like she never existed."

Zackary jumped a little when he was tapped on the shoulder. When he heard what happened he gasped. "The guy I was sharing a cabin with went mission too! James says there wasn't even a guy ever there!! I know there was..." He said sort of panicked.
James shook his head. "Anyone else think someone is missing?" He asked sarcastically. He didn't seem to believe that anyone was missing. "If you do, go to the river that meets the wall, the one with a grate. Don't go in the water, just meet me there!" He yelled almost angrily.
Zackary looked at him then at Lindsey. He sighed as he started walking to the wall where the river and grate was, where James was waiting for them...

Lindsey gasped. "No way. That's a bad omen. First the crazy tarot cards," She recalled one day ago, when her cards were acting up, saying she was in danger. "–then that face in the fire tonight–" Tonight there was a grey shadow in the fire looking suspiciously like a face, which nobody else seemed to notice. "–then my dream. That's three bad omens. One is okay, just a strange coincidence. But THREE—that is NO coincidence. I do not need a fourth one." she concluded.
Suddenly, a weird voice went through her head. Do you want to see your precious best friend again?
There was an image of Carla struggling, gasping for air. Lindsey went pale, tears coming to her eyes. "Fine. I'll go."
