"The Heiress and the Musician"

He's a musician from the wrong side of the tracks and was doing rather well; booking gigs all over the city. He's handsome, a little alternative, with a bad boy mystique that makes girls swoon. He's also a drug addict.

She's a wealthy socialite who lives in an abusive home and all she wants to do is escape...Except the only way she thinks she can do that is through suicide.

They met when he was exiting a show and he saw her standing in the rain, looking lost and a little hopeless. He was on his way home and high as a kite. So he took her from the street to his house and they 'spent the night together,' both clearly not in a good state of mind. Despite both believing that it was simply a one night stand, both became intrigued with each other. They started seeing each other as friends, with some benefits of course. But they both have secrets they're keeping from each other, and their secrets could mean the difference between life and death.

The Musician: Taken by Graphicromantics

"The Sick Boy and the Dancer"

She's the single mother of a two year old, who had her baby at the age of eighteen. Having money troubles, she went into the world of dancing...exotic dancing that is.

He's a wealthy man, who inherited his fortune and family business after the death of his father. He's been on the cover of every money magazine, and is relatively famous. To bad he's just been diagnosed with the same cancer his father died of just a few years prior.

They met each other when he attended his friend's bachelor party. She saw him as an opportunity to make a rather large tip, he saw her as the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on. She has a policy to never bring her work home, especially with her baby there. Now he visits her everyday, giving her lavish gifts, and begging for just one date. After all, you only live once, and his time might just be up.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Sick Boy and The Heiress know each other as they run in the same social circle, you could say they're friends. He suspects what's going on at her house, but doesn't say anything for fear of being wrong.

The Musician is The Dancer's younger brother, they also live together. His ex-best friend, who he now vehemently hates with good reason, is the father of her child, who left her the moment he found out she was pregnant.

Belle

She ran her fingers down the banister as she walked down the stairs. The house was quiet today, she had the place to herself and the maids until someone else decided to make an appearance. She relished in the thought that maybe no one would come home today, maybe she could have one wonderful day of relief; a day where she didn't have to worry about who would show up in her room in the middle of the night. Even though today could be a good day, she still felt the weight of depression hanging on her shoulders, the thought that the only way to rid herself of this life was to end it, but she never had the strength to do so. Though with every passing day, it looked like she would have to, like it was the only way to be free.

It was in the midst of these thoughts, that she heard the back door open and shut, when she turned she saw Cedric's face staring back at hers from across the living room and kitchen. Fear flooded through her entire body, nearly freezing her there, and her brother's face twisted into a disturbing grin.

"Hello, little sister."

The words were filled with something so evil, so disturbed, that she found herself quickly exiting through the front door and down the street to Christopher Sutton's house, a family friend and about the only person she had ever - slightly - trusted. In fact, he was more of an older brother to her than her real one was. Even with Elliott newly in her life, she was unsure if she could go to him when she didn't feel safe. She knocked on his door three times in an almost rapid succession, not caring that she looked like she had just gotten out of bed in her tank top, shorts, flip flops and her ginger hair in a top knot. She could almost feel how pale she was, but put on a smile anyway.

"Chris, it's me! Open up." She called through the door, attempting to be cheerful. "I need to ask you for a favor!"

She shifted her weight from one foot to another, looking over her shoulder. She had a feeling she would regret leaving the house, though staying would have wielded the same result. Cedric would be angry when she returned, though hopefully she had the entire day to figure out how to avoid him. Shopping, maybe? All she would have to do was make a quick stop down to her mother's office and grab the credit card. Or she could spend the day with Elliott, in a place where no one could find her. There she'd be safe, though quite possibly uncomfortable.

"C'mooon, Sutton," She prayed he was home.

Elliott

Elliott drummed his fingers on the table, chewing on the end of his pencil, deep in thought. He looked down at the sheet music that he was working on. He softly hummed the notes that he had written down, but then stopped, erased some notes, and wrote different ones in their place. He hummed again, and he slammed his hand down on the table in frustration. The frame of the cheap table shook slightly. He ran his hand through his already messy hair, and got back to work. He was finally getting the general outline of what his new song would sound like, and he was pretty pleased, until his sister, Leeandra came through the door, worn and tired. She came in like that every morning, looking like she wanted to give up on everything completely. Elliott's good mood ceased- he hated seeing his sister like that.

"Hey Lee," Elliot said.

"Hey yourself," she replied tiredly.

"You look like shit," he commented, almost sounding playful.

"Yeah? When don't I look that way?" Leeandra said with a bit of mischievous sparkle in her eyes.

Suddenly, Elliott's nephew (and Lee's son) Zane came toddling out. Zane was the accidental child of Lee and Sebastian... Sebastian. That bastard. He had left Lee immediately after finding out that she was pregnant. Every time Elliott thought about him, he wanted to scream. Lee, looking happy to see her child, picked him up, and went to sit on the couch to play with him. Now that Elliott started thinking about Sebastian, he couldn't bring himself to finish his song. He couldn't vent to Lee about him- whenever she heard his name, you could see her spirits drop. He thought about going to Annabelle, but he shook his head. He wouldn't bring his problems to other people. He took his papers and shoved them into his folder. Elliott pulled out his iPod, and started listening to a random song. Ah, Hysteria by Muse. Not his favorite song, but it would do. He put his head down, and let his mind drift with the music.

Lee

Taking a moment to play with her son after a long nights work was tough but still Lee couldn't help herself. Just the sight of Zane with his big innocent blue eyes and shaggy blonde hair brought a smile to her face and a warmth to her heart. Lifting the little boy into her arms once more, she spun around and blew raspberries onto his cheeks. This, of course, caused nothing but hysterical laughing to erupt from the two year old. Placing the toddler down next to his block set she shrugged off her coat and made her way into her bedroom.

It was getting chilly out, if the decent walk from the bus stop to her apartment told her anything. That meant she'd need to find a new winter coat for Zane pretty soon, when she had checked last his old one could no longer be zipped shut with how much he had grown over the last year. Too fast... She thought as she changed from her work clothes into something more comfortable. Letting out a tired sigh she flopped onto her bed, closing her eyes for just a second. It seemed like only just the other day when she had brought home Zane from the hospital, her baby need to stop growing. Reluctantly she rose up, eyeing the mess around her room.

Their home was alright; a small kitchen and living room area, a tiny (and Lee believed she was being quite generous by using that word) bathroom, and just two bedrooms. This meant that her and Zane shared and Elliott got his own room and though both were small her's and Zane's was just a smidgen bigger. Even still between the meager amount of things she had for herself and all of Zane's toys, the room was barely big enough to fit the bed and dresser comfortably. They were happy though, all three of them, or at least Lee hoped her brother was happy here with them. She never would have been able to make it through the past three years without him.

Tiredly she began the long task of gather up all the dirty clothes thrown in the hamper and scattered across the floor. Once or twice she stepped on one of Zane's blocks or army men and cursed under her breath. "That's it, I'm letting Elliott know he's buying his nephew way too many toys." Lee muttered with a small smile on her face. The two year old was spoiled rotten, sure many of his play things were rather inexpensive but Elliott always managed to bring something home for the little rugrat.

Once loading everything into a laundry basket she quietly left her room, closing the door behind her. Taking her time she walked down their hallway, placing the basket of clothing down on the couch once she reached the living room. "Hey L, I'm doing laundry; do you have any dirty clothes that need to be washed?" She asked, giving him a gently bop on the head.

Christopher awoke with a loud snort, his eyelids shooting open to reveal his icey blue orbs. Oh, how he enjoyed that uplifting feeling of being woken up by the loud sounds of knocking. "I'll be down in a minute!" he shouted down to whoever may have been at the door, his voice a little groggy from having only just woken up. He hoisted himself into a sit before stretching out and yawning tiredly. "Damned people, always bothering me whilst I'm having a lazy day" he muttered to himself.

Hesitantly, he clambered from under the warm covers and shuddered as the warmth was replaced by a harsh cold. He shifted his gaze around his bedroom in search of something to wear, but his wardrobes and drawers contained nothing he'd consider to be clean, so he wandered into his private bathroom and looked in there. He grabbed the largest towl within his reach and wrapped it around his lower half. "Looks like I'm greeting my little guest with no clothes on today", he faked a cheery tone, though his expression was dull and exhausted.

Christopher pranced out of the room then danced through the halls and down the large staircase. He heard the faint voice of a woman through the main doors, causing him to grin. "C'mooon, Sutton," she said. He sped up a little bit and swung the door open, but he frowned as he realised it wasn't who he thought it was going to be. "Mornin', what can I do for you?".

The more time that passed, despite the shuffling she heard inside the house, the faster her heart began to beat. She felt like it was about to explode, but this was nothing knew. Anyone who had known her for more than five minutes would know that she was always anxious, like a little deer. She had seen multiple psychiatrists and all of them had diagnosed her with an anxiety disorder, for which she had medication that absolutely never seemed to work. She held her hand to the hollow spot between her neck and collarbones, counting her heartbeats and trying to calm herself down with deep breathing. Then Christopher opened the door and relief flooded her face.

"Jesus, couldn't you have put on some pants?" Belle asked, raising an eyebrow. "You could at least look a little happy to see me. Anyways, think you could do me a favor?"

She didn't usually ask for favors, normally she'd figure things out for herself, but today she just couldn't. Today she needed a break from doing things on her own, she needed help; even if it was simple as asking for a drive to someone's house. After that she could spend the rest of the day in peace, in a place that was far more normal than anything going on in her life; a place where she could hide from her thoughts and think about someone else's problems other than her own.

"I'd really, really, really love you forever if you could drive me to a friends. You might even like them and can stay and hang out or whatever," She practically begged, giving him one of her infamously shy smiles. There was never any confidence behind her grin, only a sense of innocence and something else no one could really place. Fear? Truthfully, it was the longing to disappear and maybe wake up in Neverland or a Fairytale land where only happy endings existed. There were nights when she would lay in her bed, eyes closed, and wish with all her heart to wake up somewhere else; like a little kid, pretending. Except her imagination never seemed to match up to the wild tales she would create in her head as a six year old.

She shifted her weight from foot to foot once more, awaiting an answer that she hoped was a "Yes." If it wasn't a yes, she wasn't entirely sure what she would do. Take the bus?

"Jesus, couldn't you have put on some pants?" was her greeting, causing Christopher to shrug, "You could at least look a little happy to see me. Anyways, think you could do me a favor?". His expression dropped moodily. "What would that favour be, might I ask?" he asked, lifting a hand up to scratch the back of his head. He'd never much liked doing favours for people, not even his own family could've got him to do anything for them. "I'd really, really, really love you forever if you could drive me to a friends. You might even like them and can stay and hang out or whatever," she begged.

Christopher huffed, "Fine, whatever. I'll drop you off, but I'm not sticking around. I have people to visit" he mumbled, walking back inside. He came back five minutes later, fully dressed. As he made his way outside, he grabbed his car keys off the table beside the door. "Alright, I need a location or address or something. Or you can just point, either way's fine" he told her as he went round the corner to his garage. There was a small box on the side, which he then opened, revealing a thumb print. He placed his thumb gently over it and waited as it scanned it, then the garage opened. He pressed a small button on his car keys, unlocking the car for his usage. "You're sitting in the back, I just got a new passenger seat and I wouldn't want your bony butt to scuffle it".

He shot her a smug grin before climbing in the front driver's seat, putting the keys in and watched as the radio and navigational system lit up. He slammed his foot on the peddle and raced out onto the street. Chris hadn't been too much of a great driver in the past, infact he still wasn't to that day, but it didn't bother him any.

He skidded to a halt beside the building that was home to her 'friend', but what shocked him was that his little friend was staying there too. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me" he groaned, palming his forehead. Without much warning, he opened the door and jumped outside before racing up to the door. He banged on in endlessly, "Someone's got to be home. Hello?". Just to think, the woman he was chasing could very well be his friends best friend. The awkwardness would be... Horrid.

Elliott felt a tap on his head- it was Lee. She needed to know if he had any clothes that had to be washed. He shook his head, and took out his unfinished sheet music. He read it over, and narrowed his eyes. This was garbage! Absolute rubbish! He slumped down in his chair and threw the paper behind him. He thought for a moment, and then picked the paper back up. It wasn't too bad, he decided, but it definitely needed work. A lot of work. He erased some notes, and wrote in some new ones. He bent his head over the paper, and began writing the rest. As he wrote the notes, he hummed them, just to see what the song would sound like. In twenty minutes, he completed one-third of the sheet. Elliott stood up to make a pot of coffee.

Suddenly, he was interrupted by a series of loud knocks on the door. He heard a male voice saying, "Hello?", and was slightly irritated- the door wasn't particularly strong. He opened the door to find a well groomed, polished looking man in front of his door. He looked worried.

"Ah... may I help you?" Elliott asked.

At that moment, he saw a petite figure getting out of a car. That petite figure was...

"Belle!" he exclaimed.

After receiving Elliott's reply Lee, moved to the fridge to get out a sippy-cup full of juice for Zane. Handing the little boy his drink she looked back over at her brother. He was so engrossed in his work and frustrated apparently, if the thrown paper gave her any indication. Watching as he picked the paper back up Lee could tell that keeping an eye on his nephew might just be a bit out of the question at the moment. Sighing loudly lean bend down and ruffled the blonde hair of her son. "You wanna come help mommy?" She asked him. His reply was a rather loud yell of yes before he continued drinking his juice.

Lugging the basket back up onto her hip, Lee to Zane's hand in her free one before trekking down the staircase off the kitchen and into the basement. Zane enjoyed throwing random clothing into the washing machine, sometimes causing his mother to have to pick out the white ones. She checked the dryer after starting the washer; if Elliott didn't have any dirty clothes it means he did his wash, which also meant that the clean ones were still in the dryer. Needless to say, her assumption was correct. She took her time in actually folding her brother's clothing, Zane 'helping' every once in a while by placing them into the basket. When she was finally done she picked Zane up and headed back upstairs.

"You're close are on the dryer and folded, bring them up." She called as she passed him in the kitchen. He probably hadn't heard her considering he's continued mumbling of notes and chords. Lee watched him for a moment, he worked so hard on his music and took pride in the songs that he'd created. It was tough but Elliott loved it and Leeandra could do nothing but support his choices. After all, who was she to judge his choices in work? She was a stripper, not exactly a job one could have pride in.

"Mooooommy!" Sounds said rather loudly into her ear. Shaking her head she kissed his temple before proceeding back into her room. Ten minutes later she found herself lightly dozing off, Zane by her side. She wished it would have stayed that way too, but unfortunately what she wanted didn't matter. Loud banging on their front door awoke her from the meager nap. Making sure her son was still asleep and covering him with a blanket, Lee quietly marched herself out of the room.

"Ah... may I help you?" Her brother asked before following the question with a loud, "Belle!" The name sounded familiar, Lee remembered Elliott talking about a woman by that name before. Making her way behind him to see the mysterious woman, her eyes landed on someone she was not expecting. There stood Chris, all good looks and arrogant aura.

Her eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of him. If she had told him once, she'd told him a thousand times: work was work and she didn't want to see him outside of her home any more. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked angrily as she pushed her brother rudely out of the way.

The back seat? Seriously? Was she a six year old? It was frustrating, but she should have expected it. It probably wouldn't have been so bad had he not added the comment about her rear end, as she normally was driven from place to place by a driver. "My ass is not bony," She grumbled quietly to herself as she climbed into the back. She was a little confused by Christopher's suddenly excited face, and was a little unsure if she made the right decision to come here. Especially when his driving skills were way less than perfect. When he ran out of the car and up to the door, she was even more concerned. Did she just bring a stalker to Elliott's house?

When the door was answered, she was standing slightly behind Christopher with a slightly agitated look on her face. "I thought you had 'people to visit,' Chris." She rolled her eyes, and looked towards Elliott who had already noticed her. She gave him a little smile and small wave. "Hey Elliott. Hope you don't mind that I'm here," She said coyly while biting her lip, though she was still clearly irritated with the 'friend' she had 'brought' with her.

Then suddenly, a really beautiful woman - intimidatingly so - was standing in the doorway, who clearly didn't want Chris there. "So, uh, you...know him?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She imagined he had hurt this girl - who she assumed was Elliott's sister - in one way or another. After all, it was Christopher Sutton and there would be no surprises there, though Belle assumed he was a decent guy somewhere deep down. He had taken her to Elliott's without giving her too much shit about it, and she was eternally grateful for that. Dealing with her brother all day was just not something she could handle right now.

She was a little embarrassed by the whole situation, especially dressed the way she was. It wasn't exactly 'meet the family' attire, more like PJs where she had been thoughtful enough to put some jean shorts on, especially when she and Elliott weren't even an item. They were just friends, who occasionally slept with each other. No big deal. She swallowed nervously, putting her hands in her jeans, and wasn't exactly sure what to do now. She looked at the concrete, waiting for whatever it was that was going on to end.

The door opened to reveal a random man. Confusion swept over Christopher's face as he stepped back a bit. "Ah... may I help you?" the man asked. Christopher exhaled slowly, "I'm looking fo-", he was interupted by the man's calling of Belle's name, and Belle said something also. It was all a blur at that point, the moment he layed eyes on Lee. It was like time slowed, but she didn't. Then it all returned to normal as he realised the anger on her face. "What the hell are you doing here?".

"Well, my friend here came over whilst I was asleep, and then rudely asked me to escort her to this building so that she could meet up with her friend, who is assumably this man," he pointed to the man whom she had pushed out of the way, "I know you've told me a million times; work is work, but I'm not interested in your work now, am I?" he asked, arching a brow. It annoyed him slightly that she was playing hard to get, but he'd try his best to see what was behind the facade of anger, something he was doing at that very second.

He stepped forward again to take his original place, only a centimetre away from the frame of the door. He rested his elbow on the side and grinned at Lee, "One date, that's all I'm asking for", he stepped forward again, "Please?". The whispered begging made him cringe slightly, since he'd not done much of that in the past. He hoped Lee could see what she was making him become: a different man, one who had to fight for the love of a woman rather than just taking whatever he wanted.

He looked back at Belle to make sure she was getting on alright, then his attention turned back to Lee, praying that her anger had lessened even slightly. He kept his hands to himself for fear of her freaking out and punching him, though he just assumed her punch would be nothing more than the brush of a feather against his skin. Unfortunatly, the only thing that hindered that thought was that he'd been taught not to underestimate women in first school, they probably wouldn't be any different now.

Lee never struck him as a violent person, then again he mainly only got a rough idea of her personality because she was too busy dancing for different men to talk. He also didn't judge her by her work either, he found it somewhat fascinating. It would probably make those boring nights more enjoyable.

"Well, my friend here came over whilst I was asleep, and then rudely asked me to escort her to this building so that she could meet up with her friend, who is assumably this man," was his simple reply to her question. "I know you've told me a million times; work is work, but I'm not interested in your work now, am I?" Leeandra literally felt her temple throb with her annoyance for this man. Despite how attractive he was, how sincere his his next words were, she knew he'd probably be like all the others.

This wasn't the first time she had been asked to for outside of work, it sure as hell wouldn't be the last either, but this was definitely the worst she's ever been persued. "One date, that's all I'm asking for, please?" A frsutrated groan left her mouth; he was obviously not getting the hint.

"Look, you're kind of boardering on stalking here Chris and I really don't have time to indulge in whatever fantasies you've got going on in your head." The entire situation was crazy to her. Having bachelor parties at the club wasn't rare, they were a rather 'upstanding' establishment and had a great reputation for pleasing their clients. Money was freely spent and Lee had earned enough money in that single night to buy Zane some extra outfits from something other than a thrift shop. Unfortunately, money hadn't been the only thing she gained from the night. Chris had appeared to fancy her from the moment he saw her, the look he used to watch her sent shivers up her spine. She wasn't exactly sure if it was from a bad or good feeling though, probably bad concidering the situation she found herself in.

A cry sounded from the other room. She knew it was Zane, crying from maybe having a bad dream or finding himself alone in the bed without his mother. She glared at Chris one more moment before quickly exiting the doorway and making her way towards the bedrooms. This man was not her concern at the moment. Lee had mentioned Chris to Elliott before on several occations, mostly about how he always showed up at the club asking for her or on the few occasions where she had to literally chase him from their stoop.

Opening the door, she made her way towards the bed, lifting the toddler into her arms and whispering into his soft hair. A few moments later he was sound asleep, lulled their by the rocking and petting his mother was doing.

"Look, you're kind of boardering on stalking here Chris and I really don't have time to indulge in whatever fantasies you've got going on in your head" she said. Christopher frowned, both sorrow and frustration fighting for a place within his icey blue orbs. "I'm not stalking you..." he replied, his voice suddenly going very quiet, "I'm just-" he was interupted by the sounds of a crying baby. His eyes widened slightly as she shot him an icey glare and left, she obviously wasn't going to come over to his side any time soon. The thought saddened him more than any other.

He looked over to Belle and Elliott before smiling half-heartedly and wandered towards his car. Once there, he rested his elbows on the top and his forehead fell into his palms. "Damned women, they get annoyed when you ignore them and get annoyed when you don't. I can't seem to win this bloody game she's playing" he muttered to himself, his voice tainted with hatred. Not for Lee, but for women in general. Chris wasn't much of a ladies man, although it may have seemed that way to others, and his luck wasn't good.

The problem was he was too straight-forward, something he'd gained from his mother's side of the family. They were the type to get rip-roaring drunk at weddings and parties then puke on the ugliest men/women they could find in that particular area. His father's side, however, were the type to sit in the corner being anti-social and overly emotional towards others. Not a good mix. His mother and father had ignored their differences completely, also not a good thing to do if you plan on raising a child.

His knees began to feel father weak, so he let himself drop to the ground, turn around and rest himself up against the car door. He didn't care that he was sat on the ground, nothing mattered at that moment. He kept his glare fixed on the doorway, a low growl erupting from his chest. "Damned women," he repeated, "Everything was better when I though girls were full of germs, now they just find a way to attract you and then reject you. Complicated, complicated, complicated". He wasn't aware at the time that his thoughts were escaping his mouth, but the realisation came after a moment and he sighed.

"Belle, are you planning on staying a while or am I free to go?" he called up. If he wasn't wanted, he wasn't going to stay.

Elliott watched in wry amusement as Lee and Chris bickered. He thought that they resembled an old married couple- except old people didn't beg for dates. Why was this guy asking for a date anyways, and he was not about to let his sister's heart get broken again. As time passed, he was growing more and more impatient to get to Belle. By the time Lee stormed inside, his patience had completely faded. He muttered, "Finally," and he heard the coffee brewer beep, signaling that the coffee was done. He glanced down at Belle, just to make sure she didn't go anywhere. She looked lost and a little bit scared again, just like the day they had met. That was possibly one of the luckier days of his life. He dashed inside and turned the brewer off- if he didn't, that thing would beep for eternity, he was sure. He walked back out, but not before checking himself briefly in the mirror. Wait- why was he doing this? There was no need to look nice for a friend. But was Belle a friend, or just an acquaintance? Elliott certainly liked her, he thought she was witty and actually interesting, unlike the shallow airheads he saw at some gigs, hanging all over guys. He looked in the mirror again anyways, and wiped a graphite smear off of his face. Friends were friends were friends.

She made an excellent conversationalist, in his opinion. Plus, he could use some opinions on his new song. He hoped that she had an appreciation for music. He wondered why she decided to visit anyways. Maybe she was bored? But then, why didn't she just talk to her perfectly coiffed, handsome, rich friend? He didn't have time to think about that. In fact, he was thinking quite a lot lately. He went back outside, where Belle was waiting, still looking lost, next to her friend, who was on the ground. He looked a bit dazed as well.

He looked at Belle. She was not wearing her usual attire- today, she was clad in denim shorts. She had stuffed her hands so far into her pockets that Elliott was amazed that her pockets didn't burst. He then remembered that yes, Belle was a guest, and guests are to be promptly welcomed inside. Unless they were unwelcome guests, like Mr. One Date on the ground over there.

"Belle," he called again. "You wanna come inside?"

"Belle, are you planning on staying a while or am I free to go?"

"You wanna come inside?"

Now Annabelle was slightly conflicted. On one hand she had Christopher, who looked quite distraught and despite his general assholeness, he was still a friend of hers. On the other, there was Elliott who she had come to see in the first place. She sighed quietly to herself and looked over her shoulder at Christopher, then to Elliott, and thought of Leeandra. While it might not of hurt Chris if she chose to leave, she didn't want to leave him alone either; not after he had been nice-ish enough to take her over here only to have it blow up in his face. Her conscience simply wouldn't allow her to leave him out to dry.

"Hey Sutton, give me one second will you?" She said with a grin, looking back at him. When she reached Elliott, she put his hand on her forearm and gave him another one of her shy smiles. Chris she had known for a while, and was more comfortable around him than she was with Elliott - for now. "I'm gonna try to convince your sister to talk to him. I'll be right back," She explained, and followed her back to where she had heard a bedroom door open earlier. Quietly, she walked in.

"Leeandra?" She whispered, looking at the blonde mother nervously. Annabelle didn't like talking to new people, it freaked her out a little bit. Talking to Elliott had been out of character for her, and going to talk to to his sister about talking to someone else? That was an incredibly strange and new feeling for her, but she owed Chris one and she figured talking him up would make them even.

"I'm, uh, Annabelle. People call me Belle, though. I guess we haven't really met." She nervously chewed on the side of her cheek. Normally she was soft spoken, so whispering around a sleeping baby wasn't so difficult for her. "I just think...you should talk to him. He's definitely an a-" She caught herself before she let out a curse word. "He's definitely a jerk sometimes, but he's a good person. To me, he's like a really annoying older brother. The kind that you hate, but you know will have your back if something gets really bad?" She was being a hypocrite now, Annabelle didn't go to anyone about her problems. She was also very aware of how bad of a job she was doing at trying to convince her.

Once Zane was full asleep she gently placed the two year old down on the bed, covering him once more with a blanket. Leeandra continued to rub his back, assuring him even in sleep that his mother was with him. She turned his head slowly as she heard the sound of their bedroom door being opened. "Leeandra?" A soft voice asked. A blond eyebrow raised in suspicion as, who Leenarda assumed, Belle moved into the room.

"I'm, uh, Annabelle. People call me Belle, though. I guess we haven't really met." It was easy for Lee to see the tension in the younger woman; the chewing on the cheek, the soft tone of her voice. "I just think...you should talk to him. He's definitely an a-...He's definitely a jerk sometimes, but he's a good person. To me, he's like a really annoying older brother. The kind that you hate, but you know will have your back if something gets really bad?" She sighed, standing up slowly and moving her way closer to Belle.

She gestured for the girl to leave the room before following her out, taking one last look at her son to make sure he was still alright, before following her out once more. "Look kid," she began with a rather tired tone to her voice. "I know what you're trying to do. He's a friend and from what I can tell after your little speech, I know he's somewhat important to you. I can respect you trying to convince me but...I have a child and I know men like Chris. He's handsome, he's got money, and above all else, he's arrogant. I just can't bring men like that home, especially because of my son." The older woman placed a hand on Belle's shoulder, taking a few steps with her down the small hallway.

"I'm tired Belle, had a long night at work so," Once more Lee began walking, pulling the younger girl along with her. "I am going to finish my laundry, try and scarf down something edible that's left in our fridge, and then I am going to bed because when you're a mom you'll understand that trying to find the time to sleep is almost impossible when you have a baby." They reached the living room by the end of her statement and so Lee gestured towards the modest couch they had before taking her leave and making her way back down to the basement to do what she had said she was going to do.

Glancing at the man on the ground, and then at the door, Elliott slowly walked into the house. Lee went down to the basement, and Belle was left standing in the living room, looking unsure of what to do next. Elliott said, "So... what was that all about?" He sat down on the couch and patted the seat next to him lightly.

((sorry about the short post- can't really write without either Belle or Chris taking action))

((Sorry. Completely forgot about this roleplay until now x'D))

"Hey Sutton, give me one second will you?" Annabelle asked. He hated that, the way she called him by his last name. "Whatever, O'Leary" He called back up. A loud sigh escaped his narrowly parted lips. His impatience simply wouldn't allow him, but he said yes regardless. She then turned and mumbled something to Elliott before dissapearing through the door. Chris met Elliott's glance and turned away almost immediatly. He didn't want to have to seem all anti-social and depressed around her family, but rejected sort of stung, just a smidge. He didn't handle it well.

When he dissapeared into the house too, Christopher stood up and decided to give up. He walked up to the house and peeped through the door, "Anna, I'm taking off. Have fun. Call me when you need picking up.. If you need picking up" He mumbled, then shut the door gently, so as not to wake the baby. He'd already turned up at Leeandra's house and pestered her, he didn't want to wake her baby and provide her with more stress too. It wouldn't help him with whatever he was trying to achieve by chasing after her.

Christopher entered his car and slotted the key into the whole, turning it. His face brightened as a loud purr rumbled from the beauty. He allowed his eyes to linger on the house more a moment or two, then he huffed and pushed his foot down on the pedal, racing forwards. Again, he wasn't a very careful driver. It shocked him that he hadn't been caught out by the police yet. He just figured they'd let themselves slip a bit. Not that it was a bad thing, it meant he wouldn't have to pay any fines or have a ticket.

It didn't take him long to reach his house. Christopher pulled into the garage and took the car keys out of their slot. Everything went dark and silent. He didn't move. His head fell to the steering wheel whilst his hands dropped limp by his side. A strained cough thundered through his mouth, but he shook it off. Chris was a fighter, he wouldn't let little coughing fits or weakness get in the way of his day. Regardless of whether his day consisted of sleep, eat, bath, sleep.

He had nothing to do that day. No social life to uphold, no friends to entertain, no company to pester him, eat his food and drink his wine. As he entered the building, the chatting maids all went silent, their face stricken with shock and horror. "W-we do apologise sir, we'll get right back to work sir" One of them mumbled. Christopher snorted and shook his head. "Don't let it happen again. And.. You there," He pointed to a random one, "Go run me a bath. Alert me when it is ready and suitable for my usage". The maid nodded and scurried off.

'That was mean' Christopher thought. He shook his head furiously, "Shut up". The maids all shot him looks like he'd grown an extra eyeball or something. "What are you looking at? Off to work!" He yelled, making shooing gestures with his hand. Like the previous maid, they all turned around and scurried off. "Good girls".

Christopher wandered around aimlessly for a moment or so, before taking a seat on the living room couch.
