Who They Are:
Celine is a very easygoing person. She is incredibly friendly and kind towards everyone she meets. She would give a perfect stranger the shirt off her back. She is very gentle, and it takes a lot to rile her up. But she is also very humble and laid-back. She won't really promote herself. She tends to keep to herself, unless people approach her. Then, she is very warm and kindhearted. She is very loyal, and won't ever turn her back on someone. Even if they hurt her over and over, she will always welcome them back with open arms. This can be a good trait, but also quite dangerous. She occasionally puts her taste in an... unsavory person. She will let people take and take from her, never asking for anything in return. She's very easy to get along with, because really she never disagrees unless she really feels strongly about something. If it's something petty, she keeps her complaints to herself. She would never be someone to pick a fight.
It quite easy to get close to her, and once you are you will have a wonderful friend. She is very outgoing and loving with her close friends. She is someone you would come to in tears for comfort, since she is more than happy to help you through anything or just sit and listen for hours. She's very understanding, and would never be one to judge. She loves to tease Ev and her close friends, but it's all in good nature. She would never actually mean to hurt any of them. She would do anything to make them smile, or laugh. She always puts her loved ones' needs ahead of her own, and often will forget about herself or her own needs.

Lena is also very intelligent. She's quite shy about it and will keep her brilliance to herself most of the time, though. She figures things out very quickly, and loves a mental challenge. Her memory is excellent, and she catches on to things very quickly. But this also causes her to grow bored quite quickly aswell. She is always looking for things to keep her mentally stimulated.
While She is the sweetest girl to everyone else, she is pretty hard on herself. She gets mad at herself for the smallest things, and tends to push herself to hard. She always thinks about what is best for everyone else- not really herself.

Their Story:
Celine was born into the most loving family you could imagine. Her parents loved her more than anything else in the world, and they made sure to let her know that every day of her life when she was young. They made sure that she didn't become to self-centered, with everyone loving her, but she really was the sweetest child. She was unafriad to approach anyone- she would go up to strangers and tell them to have a beautiful day or offer them flowers when she was little. It seemed as though nothing could get her down. People just naturally seemed to gravitate towards her. Like her mother, she was radiant.

It always seemed like her parents loved each other so much. Lena always dreamed of having a love like that- they never fought, and it seemed like nothing could get between them. It really seemed that her mother loved her father. But one day, out of nowhere, her mother told them that she was leaving them for her first love- a fallen angel. She just packed her things, and left her husband and child without looking back. Two days later they found out that the very fallen angel she had left them for, had killed her. Celine and her father were devastated. She had never felt more unloved. Her own mother had abandoned her, without a second thought. For someone who ended up killing her. Had her mother ever loved her at all? Lena was inconsolable.
At one point, she was crying in her room and her father tried to hold her, and she lashed out without meaning to. She blocked out all of his senses. He fell on the floor beside her, unable to see, hear, touch, smell, even taste. It was like a black, empty hell for him. If she hadn't already been hysterical enough, it was even worse now. She desperately tried to help him, knowing that it had been her who did it to him. She had no idea if he was dying or not. After hours of trying to fix him, sobbing, she retreated to the corner of her room and curled up in a ball, shaking violently. She refused to move, even when her father came back to his senses. To make matters worse... he was afraid of her. Everett was the only person that she would move for. Everyone else, she wouldn't so much as twitch for. He managed to get her to shakily get up, and try to act normal again.

But she hated herself for what she had done. She could never trust herself again- not to mention her father wouldn't even go near her. She was a monster. For the longest time, she refused to touch anyone. Which was odd for people who didn't know what happened, given that she generally loved affection. But she was terrified of hurting someone again. She just couldn't live with herself if she did. It didn't help that her mother was dead and her household was bitter cold. But it was Ev that broke through her shell, and helped her become some form of her old self again. They were inseparable best friends, but she had always wanted more. She waited years, knowing that they couldn't date in their old school.

The Song That Sums Them Up:

People Help The People || Birdy

God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts
I guess he kissed the girls and made them cry
those Hardfaced Queens of misadventure
God knows what is hiding in those weak and sunken eyes
a Fiery throng of muted angels
Giving love and getting nothing back

People help the people
And if your homesick, give me your hand and i'll hold it
People help the people
And nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had a brain, Oh and if I had a brain
i'd be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned, all those good hearts away

God knows what is hiding, in that world of little consequence
Behind the tears, inside the lies
A thousand slowly dying sunsets
God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts
I guess the loneliness came knocking
No on needs to be alone, oh save me

People help the people
And if your homesick, give me your hand and i'll hold it
People help the people
Nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had a brain, Oh and if I had a brain
I'd be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned, all those good hearts away

People help the people
And if your homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it
People help the people
Nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had a brain, Oh and if I had a brain
I'd be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned, all those good hearts away

So begins...

"And that is exactly why if a guy you've only just met turns up underneath your window at two in the morning and asks you to marry him, you should say no and call for help. And the same applies to women. " Daniel concluded, putting his copy of Romeo and Juliet on the desk beside him. He was perched on the edge of it, his legs stretched out in front of him. He was rewarded with a roll of laughter. "I've skimmed through your essays on Romeo's character and I have to say, from what I've read, they seem relatively interesting. Good work. We'll start watching the movie adaption of the play on Monday, and I will hopefully have those essays graded for you." The bell rung, and everyone got to their feet, including him. "Have a good weekend, guys. Look after yourselves." He grinned and stretched a little as his students started streaming out of the classroom. He caught a glimpse of Jake and Vivienne joining the back of the stream of students. Once Jake was near enough, he beckoned him over. "Wait for me outside." He heard him tell Vivienne, before coming up to stand in front of Daniel. The boy's eyes were on the ground. Daniel sighed a little.

"How're you doing?" Daniel asked quietly. Jake shrugged. "Missing home. I mean, this town is nice and all, and the people are wonderful, but it's not..." He trailed off, and Daniel nodded. He missed Heaven as well from time to time. He wasn't used to concealing his wings, and walking around with his wings hidden was unnatural to him. It was surreal. Everyone acted like they had known them for years, when in reality, they'd only been in the town a week. But he seemed to be adapting easier than Jake.

"Hopefully it's not going to be permanent. With a bit of luck, we'll be home in a few weeks. We've got people negotiating on our behalf, persuading them that you're not demons." He noticed Jake's posture stiffen a little. Jake's eyes were staring at the floor, and his head was ducked a little. Daniel frowned. Something was bothering the kid. "Jake, is there anything you want to tell me?" He asked gently, putting a hand on his arm. Jake shook his head, and his posture told Daniel that he wasn't going to get anything out of him.

Daniel sighed. "If you want to talk to me about anything over the weekend, you have my mobile number. We can meet up if you don't want to talk about it over the phone. Go on, don't keep Vivienne waiting. Enjoy yourself this weekend." Jake nodded. "Thanks, sir." He mumbled, and left. Daniel sighed, shoving his few bits into his messenger bag and pulling off his loosely knotted tie, throwing that in on top. His shirt sleeves were already rolled up to the elbow. He slung the bag over his right shoulder and headed out, pulling the classroom door shut after him.

It was their first weekend in the town, and even he was a little concerned about what would happen. He had seen the name "Zach Killoran" on one of his class lists, and was almost sure that it was one of the Fallen Angels. If that wasn't enough, he had thought he had seen Hadriel around.

He was within walking distance of the cafe where Joan worked, so he decided to grab a coffee. Most of the students wouldn't be heading there for another hour or so, so they would be relatively free to talk.

He walked in and perched on a stool at the counter. "Caramel latte please, and one of those giant cookies." He ordered, a grin on his face as he looked at his friend.

Jake smiled at Vivi as he left the classroom. He knew that his posture was giving him away, so he decided to be a little honest. "He knows I visited my family last weekend, and was just asking if everything was alright." He admitted as they started walking down the corridor, towards the freedom of the weekend. "I wasn't exactly going to tell my English teacher that my family are assholes." He laughed a little, fixing the straps of his bag on his shoulder. Vivi felt almost a little familiar, like she had belonged back home.

Then again, that could just be because he had to act that way. But he genuinely did like her.

"So, what do you wanna do? It's the weekend. The world is our oyster." He casually threw one arm around her shoulders as they went down the steps of the school, spreading the other wide. He actually wasn't sure of what there was to do in this town, so he decided to let her take the lead.

If he was back home, they would probably be in training for another hour or two. Then they'd all probably go for a run and settle in for a movie night, before spending the weekend in each other's houses, seeing who could fit the most jelly beans in their mouth. He didn't know how that would roll here, so he decided just to keep his mouth shut. It was always a suggestion, if it came to it.

Come on… come on..

Everett couldn’t help it as his eyes darted from the clock to his teacher, who also happened to be Daniel. Usually, Everett enjoyed his class; it was intriguing and interesting, but all her wanted right now was for the weekend to start. His fingers tapped a short tune onto his wooden desk, his foot bouncing up and down in anticipation.

As soon as the bell rang, Everett leapt from his seat. He shoved all of his things into his backpack, slung it over his shoulder, and walked out of the room to meet up with his favorite person in the world, Celine, who also just happened to be his girlfriend. As soon as the two began their way down the hall, they walked side-by-side. Everett was sporting his friendly grin, like usual, when he wrapped his arm around Celine’s waist, not stopping as the pair walked out the school’s entrance.

A loud, content hum rumbled deep in Everett’s throat. “So, Ceeeline,” He smirked, putting extra pronunciation into the first ‘e’ in her name. He also called her by her first name, even though he usually called her Lena instead. “What would you like to do this fine Friday evening?” He asked, making his tone sound jokingly formal. He lowered his voice enough that the people around them wouldn’t hear. “I mean it is the first weekend we have here…”

“We could…” Everett thought deeply, furrowing his brow. “Oh, we could watch a movie, oooor go out to eat, ooor just relax at my place.” He smiled at the things he came up with. “Oh, I could borrow my dad’s car and we could go for a scenic drive or something… hmm… that sounds kinda lame actually, nevermind.” He let out a soft chuckle.

The family Everett currently lived with consisted only of a seemingly young couple, with both of them not even in their forties yet. They were both usually away working, and when they weren’t they weren’t working, they’re going out on dates. Everett spends most of his evenings at home alone, unless Celine is with him.

“Got any suggestions, sweetheart?” He asked, flashing another proud smirk.

Celine bit her lip as her eyes trailed down to her arm, catching sight of an angry bruise that wrapped around her wrist. She quickly tugged her sleeve down, glancing around to make sure nobody had noticed. She had been trying hard to make sure that nobody noticed anything wrong- everyone already had so much to worry about. She didn't want to burden any of them. Not to mention, Everett seemed so happy. She didn't want anything to put a damper on that- she would do anything to keep that breathtaking smile on his face. And Daniel really seemed to want all of them to fit in.

She glanced at the clock, feeling a little jittery. She was excited to see Ev again- they would have all weekend to do whatever they pleased. As a couple. After trying so hard to keep only as friends for so long, now that they could date she couldn't stand to be apart from him. Being his best friend was wonderful, but being his girlfriend was amazing.

Lena jumped up and scooped up her things as soon as the bell rung. She hurried out the door, and a bright smile lit up her face as soon as she spotted Everett. She quickly moved to his side, and her heart fluttered as he wrapped his arm around her waist, and she grinned up at him. She loved being close to him.

“So, Ceeeline,” Ev smirked, and she chuckled. God, he is just so cute. “What would you like to do this fine Friday evening?” He asked, and a little bubble of laughter asked her at the formality of his tone. “I mean it is the first weekend we have here…” He lowered his voice slightly, and she smiled at him. "Our first weekend that we can be openly couple-y." She grinned, lacing her fingers with his.

“We could…” He furrowed his brow, and she couldn't help but appreciate how attractive he was once more. He had the most adorable dimples, and the sweetest smile that just broke her heart. Not to mention the had the most beautiful blue eyes. “Oh, we could watch a movie, oooor go out to eat, ooor just relax at my place.” Ev grinned as he spoke, and she couldn't help but smile in response. “Oh, I could borrow my dad’s car and we could go for a scenic drive or something… hmm… that sounds kinda lame actually, nevermind.” This statement earned him another soft bubble of laughter.

“Got any suggestions, sweetheart?” He asked, smirking down at her. Resisting the urge to kiss him, she flashed him dimpled smile of her own. "I would be perfectly content with relaxing at your house." She stated, her bright smile never leaving her lips. "We have all weekend to soak up the world together."

"I would be perfectly content with relaxing at your house."

Everett smiled happily at her response. “So would I.” He responded simply, his arm still wrapped around Lena, pulling her closer to him.

"We have all weekend to soak up the world together."

“Yes, that we do. And I am very glad for it.” He marched down the sidewalk on the way to his house, not once not smiling.

Everett lived relatively close to the school: it was less than a ten minute walk to and from. He and Lena made small talk meanwhile, their feet kicking up little pebbles as they walked. They soon came upon Everett’s current home. The house was nice, decently sized with two floors. The outside was a faded tan color and the door black. He unlocked it and led Lena inside, shutting it behind him. He look a quick glance around the entryway.

“Hmm… looks like Jean and Ross aren’t home…” He muttered quickly to himself as he kicked his shoes off and tossed them into a closet by the door. He put his bag down by the door as well and turned to Lena. “My home is your home, always remember that.” He said, flashing a friendly smile as he spread his arms wide. He lead her into the living room, smiling to himself. “Stay right here.” He told her and darted out of the room for a moment. He could be heard running up the stairs and walking back down a mere minute later. He came back into the living room topless, wearing simply a pair of dark grey sweatpants. He whistled calmly, as if he hadn’t just shed half of his clothes.

Another rumbling, content hum came from deep within his throat as Everett walked over to his girlfriend, placing his hands on her hips and pulling her closer. He was a few inches taller than her, which he liked. She was the perfect size for him. He planted a tender kiss to her forehead before pecking her nose as well, a devilish smirk forming on his face. He leaned forward enough so his lips were practically touching her’s. He felt her inhale and he grinned. He pulled back quickly, squatting down and wrapped his arms firmly around her midsection. In one foul swoop, he had hoisted her into the air and jumped onto the couch, tossing her down onto the cushions. He practically crawled on top of her, his hands creeping up her belly. I smiled and giggled as he poked her stomach and sides repeatedly.

Everett growled and roared about as menacingly as a golden retriever puppy, tickling Lena relentlessly. He laughed loudly, making sure she couldn’t escape.

“Stay right here.” Ev ordered, and Celine looked at him a little skeptically but her smile remained firmly placed on her lips. She glanced over at the living room while she waited. It was warm and cozy looking, and it just went like a warm atmosphere that was good to be in. So unlike her own foster home. She ran her fingers over the fabric of the couch, and turned when she heard Everett coming down the stairs.

When she spotted him, she flushed darkly. "E-Ev!" she stuttered, quickly looking down shyly. He was clearly enjoying her flustered reaction, as he came over, put his hands on her hips and pulled her closer. She grinned as he gave her a tender kiss, and practically melted in his arms. He leaned down to kiss her and she tilted her face forward expectantly, her breath catching. Just as she closed her eyes, waiting for their lips to meet, he pulled away. She blinked, pouting slightly. "You tease!"

Before she could say another word, he threw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Hey!" She protected with a little giggle. He threw her on the couch, and pinned her down. "Ev..." she warned, and squealed when he began tickling her. "Ev!" She squealed, laughing hard. She struggled against him, trying desperately to get away. She giggled as he blocked her, being much stronger than her. "Please!!" she laughed, squirming and laughing beneath him.

By the time he gave her a minute to catch her breath, she was breathing hard. "Are you trying to kill me?" She laughed. She leaned forward and gave him a light kiss. She rested her cheek on his arm, and smiled gently up at him. "You could lie down without trying to kill me, you know." She laughed lightly.

Lena moved over, making room for him next to her. "It looks like your foster family is really nice." She smiled at him, although it was a little strained.

"Are you trying to kill me?"

Everett grinned as she kissed him. “Aww, you know I’d never do that to my princess.” He laughed softly, shifting on top of her.

"You could lie down without trying to kill me, you know."

“Well, if you insist.” He smirked and let his body drop down next to her, lying on his side.

"It looks like your foster family is really nice."

“They are, but not as nice as you.” He then grabbed her waist and moved her body somewhat so she was facing away from him. Everett wrapped his arms around her stomach and gently hugged her body to his, a giant smirk on his face. He curled his body around her so his chest was against her back and his nose pushed against the back of her head.

Everett breathed in deeply, taking in the smell of her hair. It smelled sweet, like some sort of berry or fruit. He made a soft rumbling sound deep in his throat, closing his eyes slightly. “You smell so good..” His voice was just above a whisper. “Good enough to eat…” He muttered, nuzzling his nose into her hair. He then moved her hair to the side and planted a soft kiss on the base of her neck. He then chuckled softly. “I actually hadn’t meant for that to sound like… that. Oops.” He smirked and kissed her neck again, but a bit higher up.

“Hmm…” Everett glanced at a clock on the wall. “Jean and Ross are really nice, but they're always gone. Sometimes I wonder what they’re always doing…” He muttered then laughed quietly. “Young love, am I right?” His tone was teasing and playful.

“Since they’re both gone… that means we’ll have the house to ourselves until nine…” Everett smirked, suddenly hugging her very tightly before loosening his grip on her. His arms remained firmly around her waist still. “I’m just kidding..” He giggled and smirked, kissing just behind her ear.
