this is based on three things: a couple webcomics i saw in which there was a universe the readers created through suggestions. it inspired me to make this. a thing i did with the people at my lunch table 2-3 years ago. an rp i did on this site awhile ago. it was, yes, a mv clone, but we turned it into a sort of gods-create-world thingy. links: https://mspfa.com/?s=26726&p=1 - awaiting input... https://mspfa.com/?s=24464&p=1 - trial and [error] https://www.roleplaygateway.com/roleplay/do-anything-you-want - do anything you want

Introduction

*This adventure is officially over.*

At first, there is only a void. An empty void, full of nothing.
Then, they came. The gods. They came together to create worlds upon worlds, galaxies upon galaxies, universes upon universes; all to their whims.

This is a roleplay in which you play as gods who go about creating things. You can create anything you want. Together you and the other gods will build beautiful things.

This will (possibly) end up being the setting for another RP, after all the creation is done. Until then, keep on creating until you all are content.

Please read the rules before you begin. And remember, have fun!

Rules

First off, this is NOT a Multiverse clone. I know it may seem like that, with the whole “Do Anything You Want” theme, but trust me. It’s not.

In this RP, you will be playing as, essentially, gods. There are, however, a certain limit to your abilities.

All gods are immortal, to an extent: They cannot be killed except by another god. They don’t age, hunger, grow weary or thirsty. They can have children, and those children don’t age either - sort of.

This brings us to the second ability. All gods are able to change their form. They can become a human-ish creature, or an animal, or a glowing ball of primal energy, or, hell, even a planet. Thus, gods have no true form, or age, or even gender. They can be anything they want.

The third ability is creation. A god can create anything he wishes; a planet, a universe, a multiverse. However, they don’t fill up automatically. I.E. If you create a universe, it still won't have anything in it. Also, the things a god create are modified a bit by their own essence, which take place as a unique theme. A theme can be a substance the creations are modeled after (pizza, shadow, fire) or a certain genre or theme of setting (magic, noir, steampunk), or something else. If you create something in another god's thing, the theme from the god's theme will sort of bleed into yours, a bit, over time. I.E. Azazel creates a technological race on Roothor's nature-themed planet. As time passes, the tech of Azazel's race may take on a biological appearance, or plant-like.
Try to choose different themes from the other gods.

Here’s a character outline, or skeleton:

Yes, I know it’s rather short, but it works.

Then, the actual rules:
No spamming posts. No railroading. No taking over other people’s characters. Be polite (as possible). If you make a character, you have to use it at some point or it gets deleted. Don’t post 1-sentence posts: try to flesh them out, to at least 3 sentences. Don’t just say “I make a planet.” Flesh out your posts.

Lastly: Have fun.

At first, there was only darkness. No light. No ground. Nothing; a great expanse of nothingness. The Void.
Then, there was a flash of light, and Roothor appeared. He looked around and was not pleased by what he saw. And so, raising his staff, he created a universe within the Void.
This universe - a finite space within the large expanse of the Void - wasn't completely dark; no, it was tinged a very dark green, as, if one looked closely, they would see little motes of chlorophyll, the thing found in plants, running like streams through this universe. Alongside the chlorophyll flowed the dark red of blood, and thus there was both red and green mixed in the universe, in one great plaid.
The universe itself was one giant creature. It's body could be entered by others, perhaps, and it could be harmed; but at the center of this universe was it's brain, and it had a powerful psychii. It knew when something would harm it, and it would lash out and push it away.
Roothor would later call this universe, "The Beast". A fitting name, as that was what it was.
Just one universe in a field of what could soon be many.

It was a lot like coding to Azazel, creating a Universe that is. First you start with basic elements, small elements that were essential to life but easy to make, like hydrogen and helium. At this point it was simple binary, long lines of two simple inputs slowly giving rise to a beautiful place. The Universe needed energy, like an electronic needing to be plugged in. The power source was Azazel, of course. Lovingly, she poured herself into her creation, painstakingly crafting the Universe and putting inhabitants in it. It was slow going, but worth every second.

Planets began to form, then life, then complex multi-cellular creatures. Before long people began to sprout up, and thanks to the essence of Azazel, they developed rapidly. In a short time, humanity had created civilization and established a culture. This brought with it their new religion that worshiped the System Wizard. At least, that's what they called Azazel, the lady who sometimes appeared to the devout to perform miracles. Azazel loved her children, and the noosphere they created, so she crafted them Angels to look after her children when she couldn't. Metallic, faceless beings, extensions of her love.

She dubbed her Universe Nova, and watched its tiny self develop from her seat in the vast expanse of the Void.

Roothor saw Azazel's angels, and wondered if he should make guardians of his universe as well. He made them in the form of blood cells. Well, they weren't really blood cells, but they functioned as them. They could ferry particles along the universe, and respond to any threats against the Beast.
He called them Dryads.

Secondly, he created a lush and forested planet around a sun (really nothing more than a ball of bioluscent fungi that radiated heat). He populated this planet with creatures that looked like him, dubbing them Snivies. He named the planet Snivia.

Azazel descended into her Universe and saw that it was good, and its people were good. Tiny lines of coding slowly expanding and self-propagating, writing itself. It was beautiful, and her angels were beautiful, and her children were the most precious thing to her. It was peaceful here, thanks to the angels. War never broke out and conflicts that did start were quickly quelled by the Angels. Since the people had never known suffering, they advanced quickly. Soon her loving human children were creating machines in her image, synthetic humanoid children for her to fawn over. Then they spread, from the planet she'd placed them on to its moon, and from there to another planet, then another. Her angels had to find new ways to occupy their time, as they were rarely needed to intercede anymore. Nova was good, it was beautiful, it was her child.

"I held their lonely world in my arms, and everything was good.
I gave them all my infinite love, each cherished face, each wish, each mood
Some spurned my love, a few did not relate, they were misunderstood.
They spurned my love and rose in force to burn my perfect neighborhood
My prophets now beheld me in mistrust, that once beside be stood
As my loved ones burned and fell to dust, I saved as many as I could

I hope it doesnt hurt too much my Dears.
Laid to rest by fickle engineers"

Roothor created many other creatures for his world. He created nymphs and elves; gnomes and goblins. They all dwelt in their own galaxies.
He looked down at the Beast, and was satisfied. But was everyone else?
