An outgoing and friendly girl, with a knack for dance and gymnastics. Twin sister of Landon James.
Viera is one of those girls that would do anything for a friend. She is a nice girl at heart, and cares for those around her. She's always been one to want to make new friends, but living in such a small town, she doesn't have as much of an opportunity to spread her wings as others might in a larger town.
Being that she's nice to most everyone, and most everyone is nice to her as well, she doesn't do well with fights, and doesn't like negative confrontations. When she does end up getting yelled at, or bossed around, she usually just caves. Her brother has told her that she's overly sensitive, but she doesn't think so.
Viera's mother and father met in Philadelphia - her mother worked for the Philadelphia Ballet, and her father had stopped in to see a show. They ran into each other after the show was over, and one thing led to another. Eventually they got married, and three years into their marriage, they were graced with twins - Viera and Landon.
Viera was a sweet girl from the start, and as she grew, she began to show more potential in dance and gymnastics. When she was six, her parents decided that they wanted a change - they had both originally grown up in Texas, and they both decided they wanted their two children to grow up there as well. So, they packed everything up, and moved.
The town they moved to was a rather small one, but they didn't mind. Their moving in was the biggest news that had come over the town in a while, but eventually, that died down; Texas was an original home to Viera's parents, and they fit in right away.
Their family was one of the only families in the entire town that didn't own a farm. Viera's father had found a job in the nearest city that he was good at, and it payed well enough, so every day he traveled into the city to work. It was a long drive, but he didn't mind. Viera's mom stayed home to watch the house, and when Viera would come home from school, her mother would work with her towards becoming a better dancer. When the family had saved up enough money, Viera's mother even had a small dance studio put into one of the unused barns. The other larger barn held all the gymnastics equipment, which Viera used frequently.
Because her mother was such a lover of the fine arts, Viera also was taught piano. She began to develop her singing voice as well, though she doesn't sing in front of anyone but her twin or her family, because she's just not so sure of herself when it comes to her voice. When it comes to dance or gymnastics though, she's dead on with everything she does.
She's best at the uneven parallel bars, the beam, and the floor work when it comes to gymnastics. When it comes to dance, she's best at Pointe Ballet, tap, jazz, and surprisingly Hip Hop.
Viera has made many friends over the years, and when news comes that new, rich people have moved into the town, she's eager to make friends with them too - she just doesn't realize that they might not necessarily want to make friends with her.
