There was once a famed dancer. He lived in England, and many coveted his movements of grace and poise. One day he came home to find his wife crying. He asked her what was wrong and she told him. Their 5 children, had been taken. The man tried to console his wife, but that night, the woman killed herself.

Feeling like his life no longer had purpose, the man fled to America. There he was homeless, drunk most of the time. And the legend of the Great Dancer faded away in the wind.

It was here that he died, sitting alone on a sidewalk.

But it turns out that this man had been a noble in England, unknown to himself, and his family. His children, taken from their lives, stick together and try to find out who they really are. But there are those who covet the fame and the riches that are due to these children, and will do anything to get rid of them. There are few that they can trust. But when a group of 5 others come to help them regain what was lost, they grow feelings towards one another, but the five children try to push them away as they have no idea who they can trust.
