Welcome! Welcome one and all to the Dark Woods Circus! Where we have sights aplenty and Freaks unlike any!

You are a part of the Dark Wood Circus, whether a freakshow or acrobat, clown or animal tamer, for the Dark Wood Circus. On the outside it looks normal and hospitable. Like a normal reputable business.

Underneath the lights and the clowns make up, it is ruled by a tyrant of a ringleader. He only cares about money and has his ways to keep his rings intact and his performers in line.

There are those few performers and Freaks though...that are speaking (Or writing) of a rebellion.

Will you take part in this act?

Will you hinder it?

Come one, come all!

For the Circus is about to begin!

Come one, come all! Come to the Dark Woods Circus, where you will see sights aplenty and freaks unlike any!
Deep, deep in the heart of the forest, there you’ll find that circus.

With many different acts to entertain you, though if you want to be mystified and afraid we have just the thing!

Look at her, Sister the snake Whisperer. Some say she is half snake and can speak to the snakes! You will have to watch her act to believe, though with her scales and eyes who are we to disbelieve? Why the command she has over her pets is extraordinary! We don’t doubt her snake like charm, but she is not the friendliest of freaks so keep a safe distance away you don’t want to get bitten. Few have lived to tell the tale once they have suffered her bite.

Speaking of bites, we found the Blue Beast that had terrorized the woods nearby! Look in amazement and horror! For what we thought for years when he terrorized us as a demon is nothing more than a boy. Ah don’t put your hand in there! He doesn’t have a muzzle on and the rumors of something eating the people in the woods are true. Someone has lost fingers and an arm by sticking their hand in his cage. Don’t worry we keep him fed with raw flesh. If you want to hear the story from the beasts mouth, well I am afraid that is impossible. He doesn’t seem to be able to speak, though his teeth are as sharp as knives.

All right, let’s see something exciting shall we?! We have the youngest knife thrower here, and we do not want to be late for her act, she will not hold her act up she always is on time and her knives hit the mark! Look at her cheerful face as she throws her knives like perfectly timed gears in a clock, which is why we call her Clock Work Alice! Such grace, such poise! You will not see a better knife thrower in all the land, and that is my guarantee! If you do you can call me a fool.

Speaking of fools we have one here. One who has seemed to had forgotten his name so just call him the Nameless Pierrot. He tumbles, he bumbles, and fumbles! He stands on balls and juggles, on his unicycle to he will do that and ride across the tightrope, hope he doesn’t fall. Well even if h does he will just get back up and smile like he always does with that mask of his. He is not the most daring of fellows and doesn’t really speak much.

But if you want daring than you are in for a treat! Our very own ringleader is an escape artist! He joined us when he was eighteen and has worked his way to the top. He can escape anything and everyone. He runs this place on a very short leash. Some see it as cruel, but when we are dealing with such dangers as we are, well wouldn’t you? He leaves the manual work to others though.

Like Bosco! Let’s give this hard worker a hand. He is no performer, however what he does is invaluable. He cleans up, sets the tents and does all the manual work. Well almost all of it, somethings he doesn’t do. However he is such a kind caring lad that most of the circus love the little dear, some…don’t but hey you can’t win them all! It might just take a little time to see that he means them no harm and just wants people to be happy! He has no curtains drawn on his heart; he is easy to read for his good intentions after all he just wants to help his poor mother out of her debt what cause could be nobler than that?
Ah, ah, ah no looking behind the curtains. No sneaking in at night you don’t want to get in trouble. Now shush…the circus is about to begin!

Kainto growls as he backs away from his handlers, not afraid to bite them if they came close to him. In fact he would enjoy biting them, but they were wearing protective clothing. A good thing to, he was after all a consumer of flesh as many know. He once even tried to bite the Ringleaders’ arm, he managed to do so and tear a chunk of it off, but sadly for Kainito he didn’t get to bite his neck and tear it out. Oh how he hated the man who captured him from his home!

The handlers approach the Blue beast carefully one with a chain to tether to his leash the other with a muzzle, the ringmasters idea, he did not want anymore…incidents, with either himself of the patrons. Not that he really cared about their wellbeing, he just wanted the money.

Kainito keeps his eyes on them as he stands his ground, not wanting to show to much weakness to these people, to him they were nothing more than food that were trying to trap him once again. As one draws close enough he lunges at them before feeling the other yank the collar of his strait jacket and causes him to fall to the ground with a thud. He feels the chain being tethered to the collar quickly as the other man knees his chest to stun him. The man kneels down and grabs Kainitos’ face lifting his head off the ground as Kainito tries to bite him, and failing to do so as the man slams his jaw shut harshly before putting on the Blue Beasts’ muzzle and latching it in place tightly, the man gives him one more kick for good measure and leaves. The circus day was over after all and he was not needed until the early evening of the next day, which meant he would be stuck here with the damn muzzle and chain on him. He looks at the chair in the cell, surprised he was not bound to that as he feels a yank on the chain pulling him back and causing him to fall to the ground as he is dragged to the chair. Someone from behind yanks him up and straps him firmly in place in it before leaving the cell with a chuckle.

Kainito lets’ out a beast like howl of that could be heard in sleeping quarters of the freaks, and distantly heard in the ‘regular’ performers wards. He did not seem happy, and that reflected in his eyes and angry struggles to break free, though this is not unusual for the Blue Beast.

Sister

The young snake girl peered around the small tent that she called home, the cirque crew had learned long ago that the female really needs her space, and then she would do what she was told. As long as she was respected, she would respect. And obey.

Turning to her right, she glided over to the four cages placed upon the ground. She opened the cage door unhinging with a light swing, a long white snake slithers out of the cage and wraps around her arm, sliding up her shoulder and hooking on, the snake's beautiful snow-white face rests close to the girl's ear.

Sister closed her eyes, leaning her head slightly closer to Adalynne, "Sister..." Adalynne hisses.

"Yes, Adalynne?" Sister replied, in the same language.

"I sense danger. Darrel does not have pure intentions, I see the way he walks... Adalynne bares her teeth, giving an angry release of venom through her teeth, He is narrow in his ways...

"He does not have others in mind with his plans." Both Adalynne and Sister spoke together in harmony.

So you understand, Sister... You understand what must happen... Adalynne slid backwards and over to her other shoulder, her flawless white body sank into a comforting spot on Sister's shoulder.

The freaks will rebel, with your help or not... This place has become dark... You have seen what they do before...The Ring Leader will do it again... You must fight back. For your life.

"But, Adalynne... Is it right to kill this man? Can't we drive him off his throne and simply shun him?" Sister's eyes fall on the ground below her, taking in the bright colors of the blanket she had woven on her fourteenth birthday with materials she had bought from a local merchant who sold things outside of the Circus.

The Daring is like a disease, Sister... He will continue to plaque everyone he meets, in every thing he does...And, like a disease in any body, it must be purged..

Sister nodded, the metaphor rang in her mind, as she pictured Darrel being the disgusting disease, plaguing all the workers making up one large body... Shaking off the thought, she prayed for a distraction.

The conversation is interrupted by a scream, a familiar roar Sister heard many times... Kainito...

The girl stood up, Adalynne resting on her shoulder, and she began to walk over to the cages.

You continue to visit the one that smells of flesh...Why, Sister? Adalynne spat with a bit of disgust.

"I think he is interesting. He is different. Like me... I think I can try to talk to him this time... Maybe..."

You try and try, is it any use?

"I believe it is..." Sister became quiet as they arrived, she slipped inside and opened the door to Kainito's with some extra keys she had been "borrowing" for the past three years.

She hid in the shadows, watching him for a minute or two, giving a small smile.

Darrel

"I'm just," He bounces up on the table, a few knick knacks tumbling over the side, hurdling towards the ground as the man throws his arms out, "SINGIN', in the rain!" He belts, and does a delicate spin on the table, "JUST! SINGIN! IN! THE! RAIIIIIINNNN!" He ends abruptly, a laugh bubbling up his throat as he flicks the blonde strands of hair from his piercing blue eyes.

"S-S-Sir, maybe you have had too much to drink...." One of the maids stutters, rushing to pick up the things that had fallen onto the ground.

He grabs his whiskey glass and pours another drink, watching the liquid drip drop into the cup, "Nonsense! I'm just simply celebrating! Come, dear!" He grabs her hand and spins her in a circle, a charming smile zipping across his face, "Let us dance."

The maid turns bright red as he spins her, this was probably the first time she ever felt like royalty... Darrel chuckled, giving to the needy was always so...Rewarding...

As he lets her go gently, he takes another large gulp of his drink and wipes his mouth, sitting down on his rug and taking a deep breath in.

A howl is heard, it pierces Darrel's ears and his face drops into a low scowl, "That filthy flesh-eater..."

His nose wrinkles in disgust as he finishes off his whiskey. He watches the maid continue to clean, ignoring the angered rumbles coming from the cages. If they want to make a scene, Darrel would let them. As long as there wasn't any commotion stirring, Darrel rarely worries, for he believes he has the whole Cirque in his hand; the Cirque are his puppets, and he was the master, all the strings were his to tug and jostle if needed.

"Sir, is there anything else you might need?" The maid asks as she picks up her basket with her cleaning supplies.

"Mmm... Some food would be nice, have the cook send in a plate in an hour. You are free to go." He waves her off with his bejeweled fingers and she eagerly leaves the tent.

Darrel's eyes flicker to his right, then back to his left, searching for something to do, something to amuse him for the time being. He stands, effortlessly gliding towards his desk again, shuffling through some papers that he had left over on his desk. As he shuffles through the papers, he notices a handwritten letter...

Darrel,

For a long time, I have tracked you down to this Cirque... And I think it is only fair for you to meet your son. His name is Bosco, he has gone eighteen years without a father. He deserves one. You must tell him the truth, you...

Darrel stops reading it, curling up the neatly written letter in his fist, tossing it into the trash bin.

The truth would slay Bosco... It would make him spiral into a thousand black suns... Darrel couldn't say a thing, for it was not his fault that this had happened.... It couldn't be...Darrel shook his head violently, as if it would shake the thoughts away from him forever.

Alice

Alice was polishing her knives when she heard the blood-curdling howl from the sleeping quarters of the freaks. “The blue beast is up to it again.” It was hardly a rare occurrence now, but it did take some getting used to. Kanitio almost always roared when they tried to chain him to his chair, and at times he does not it was either he was too tired or he was knocked out. He seemed to be in good health if he could manage one that loud. She checked her watch. They would be coming to confiscate her knives in exactly twenty minutes, in order to stop her from ‘rebelling’ or so they said. The members of the circus are going to one way or another, anyways, no matter how hard Darren tried to stop it. She half shut her eyes and let out a soft sigh. Of all the years she had being working, Darren haven't changed a bit. He’s still a highly functioning sociopath as usual. He will be killed for that one day, she was sure of it. She flicked her wrist and her knife stuck into the wood of the posts in the tent, where there was already a dent because of her many attempts. She strolled over to the knife embedded in wood, put her foot against it and pulled with all her might.

“God, its stuck deep!” she exclaimed after many unsuccessful tries. It’s probably the first time it was embedded that deeply. It probably meant that her strength was growing. Still, first things first. She checked her watch again. Fifteen more minutes, better ask someone to help. She sneaked out of her tent under the cover of darkness to the tents of the other actors. Suppose I find one of them for help… She quickly stepped into Bosco’s tent. Pierrot was probably busy rehearsing too, but Bosco should most likely be free. "My knife is stuck in the wooden pole, help me pull it out, please?" she pleaded him. Hopefully she cold get it out before they came to confiscate them, so she could escape punishment.

Pierrot is outside balancing on his ball, mask on his face as he juggles like usual. Though the roar makes him lose balance causing him to tumble to the ground with a thug, however no cry of pain came from him as he hopped to his feet in an exaggerated manner on one foot before regaining his balance, looking towards the tent that the noise came from. “Kainito…” he whispers as he leaves his equipment outside, not really caring that it would get him in trouble with Darrel, he wanted to make sure everything was okay. He passes by Alice as he does so giving her a big goofy wave as his hats’ tails flop as he does so.

He heads on over to the tent seeing the two handlers of Kainito heading on out laughing and bragging about being able to kick the dreaded ‘Blue Beast’. He shakes his head at that drawing their attention as they stalk over to him. “Got something to say Nameless?” they sneer at him as Pierrot holds up his hands making flowers appear in them as he hands them to the two shaking their hands vigorously as if to congratulate them feeling sick as he did so, he heads on into the tent where the freaks where kept, well besides Sister.

Speaking of Sister he spied her in the cage of Kainito. He walks up slowly. “Sister…you know you shouldn’t be in here at this time…Darrel might find out.” He whispers to her through his ever smiling mask. “If we are lucky it will be Bosco.” He offers as he stays outside the cell glancing behind him to make sure no one else was coming. He had to admit the Ringleader scared him… a lot, more so than anyone else here. Maybe that is why he wanted this to change; circus’ were supposed to be fun! And though it appeared to be fun for the audience for many in here it was not. Pierrot had forgotten his real name since coming here and felt more like he was the mask he wore than a person.

The job of a circus worker was never done. Something always had to be fixed or cleaned especially at the Dark Woods Circus. Right now, though, everything seemed alright. Bosco was asleep inside his small tent. For many of the employees at the circus sleep was rare. Even at night Bosco went to bed late and woke up early. When he first joined the circus it was hell. Bags under his eyes quickly formed and the only speed his body seemed to have was slow. It took about a month until Bosco and his body got used to it. Whenever he has the chance he will sleep, even if it's just a couple minutes.

Upon coming here he also learned to become a light sleeper. So when the swoosh of his tent flap opening, his eyes fluttered open. He sat up, making his hood fell back behind his head. A smile stretched across his face when he saw Alice. Bosco was about to ask her what she needed but she answered before a word could leave his mouth.

"My knife is stuck in the wooden pole, help me pull it out, please?"

"Sure thing." Bosco said, jumping out of his bed. The sheets were now tangled on the old mattress and the pillow somehow ended up on the floor. He held open the tent flap for Alice, "After you." Once the girl left the tent, he followed. She led him to the wooden pole where a knife was embedded. At first he guessed it would be easy to pull it out but after a closer observation he realized it was not going to be as easy. It definitely was in deep. He looked back at Alice and smiled. She was getting stronger.

"So how's it going?" Bosco asked, turning back to the pole. He gripped the knife with one hand and pulled, no luck. He tried again but with both hands, still no luck. Again he tried but with a foot placed on the post, some luck. The knife loosened up a bit, but not enough to break away. The teen tried several more positions, but none better than the last. With a frown he tried one last position. With both hands he gripped the knife handle and he firmly placed both feet on the side of the wooden post.

The outcome was not what Bosco expected. The knife broke free, making him fall back. His behind hitting the ground hard and his hood flopped over his head.

Kainito smelled the girl before spying her; he jerks his head up as the cell door opens, a small warning growl escaping. He was in no mood for her talking to him. He was hungry, in pain from the blows and trapped in this damnable chair and chain. Let’s not forget the damn muzzle and leash either, he had enough! He wanted to sink his teeth into the ringmaster and tear his flesh off again, though hopefully this time it would be his neck and not the arm. The fact that she could wander freely and into his territory also seems to agitate him.

Kainito had never been a pleasant boy, after all he had his title long before he became an act…he grew up in the woods eating what he could to survive which happened to be uncooked meat and humans. If he could talk and was asked he would explain there were only two types of creatures him and food…on the rare occasion the ‘him’ category encompassed more than just himself, though those were brief moments.

He continues to look at her as if waiting for her to begin speaking; it was not like he could do anything about it or really reply to it, after all he is a feral, a human raised in the wild and some assumed by beasts. Oddly his eyes shown with intelligence beyond what some thought him capable of, however they were still dark and cold almost uncaring, more like beast eyes than human eyes.

He smells the masked fool called Pierrot come in as he growls at him too, he did not want company! He wanted to be free…for a moment the longing showed in his eyes, before his usual anger returned and he struggled in his strait jacket trying fruitlessly to escape its bindings. He leans forward as far as he could, drawing the leash tight causing him to choke and coughs a bit before he relents and leans back to get air. He wanted to escape sure, but death was not the way he wanted it.

Sister

As Sister awaits for Kainito to acknowledge her, Nameless meanders over, popping his head in, but not fully entering.

“Sister…you know you shouldn’t be in here at this time…Darrel might find out... If we are lucky it will be Bosco.” His voice seemed cheery, matching the mask he wore upon his face.

Sister nods in agreement, "You are right." She stands as Kainito responds to her with an unwelcoming growl.

Turning to him, she kneels next in front of him, making eye contract, with Kainito, "You will get what you wish for soon." She acknowledges his hunger, his frustration, and anguish; she knew Kainito wanted to slash Darrel with bare hands, slash his teeth in to get a good bite...

With that, she turns to Nameless, she had always liked the enthusiasm of the boy, "Come... Let's leave before we cause more of a scene than we already have."

Swiftly making her way out of the cage, she clicks the lock back into place and seals it up.

Adalynne turns to face Pierrot with a small hiss as she curls away into Sister's dark black hair.

"Adalynne, be nice... He is a friend..." Sister scolds, tapping the snake's nose.

I do not make friends so easily... Adalynne hisses in reply, to which Sister rolled her eyes. Turning towards Pierrot, she gives an apologetic smile.

"How is your day so far?" She asks, making small conversation as they walk.

Pierrot keeps an eye on Kainito and Sister, hearing the exchange between them, not understanding it fully. What would Kainito want besides flesh? He nods his head as Sister walks over to him. He looks at Kainito. “…you would think the Strait jacket and muzzle would be enough…” he whispers, sounding a bit sad before shaking his head seeming to perk up. He had to be happy, it was his job he would get in trouble if he wasn’t. “Anyway…I don’t think we can cause more of a scene than Kainito roaring…no offense Kainito.” He says glancing behind him as Kainito gives a loud growl in reply, whether that was his way of saying no offense taken or to leave that was a bit unclear.

He hears the snake his at him looking at her with wave as he pulls out a tiny hat from his sleeve and places it lightly on the snake with a chuckle, before shaking his head. “Sorry, should ask…still a bit in work mode I suppose. I have to come up with better material…” he explains with a shrug. “I will think of something I am sure.”

“I have been good, busy rehearsing and making sure I don’t hurt myself when I take those tumbles.” He offers as he rests his hands behind his head. “I will say the roar from Kainito made me fall off my ball, I should get used to that.” He adds before turning to her, “How about you?” he inquires as he catches a glimpse of Bosco falling from the tents entrance. “Bosco! Are you trying to steal my job?” he teases him with a chuckle. He continues walking, intent on getting his equipment. “So far I have not seen The Devil Darrel, or was it Daring?” He comments with a shrug, knowing full well it was Daring as he chuckles.

Darrel left the crumpled note on his desk, he wasn't about to worry himself about this.

Bosco did not need to know... No. He COULDN'T know.

With the nearest candle, Darrel burned the letter, leaving it's ashes in the trash bin. Grabbing his black cloak, he took off with haste, he had to do his daily run and make sure things were going smoothly.

Especially Kainito.

Darrel didn't trust that rat ever since he joined the Cirque. He tried to teach him how to be civil, but Kainito was stubborn, and refused a lot of what Darrel offered him.

Bustling off towards the cages, he pauses as he hears two voices lingering a little ways away. Darrel could not catch most of the conversation, but he heard Nameless's voices loud and clear through it all.

“So far I have not seen The Devil Darrel, or was it Daring?”

Devil? A dark chuckle escapes from his lips, That's almost flattering.

Almost.
He thought to himself as he began to walk.

With a twisted smile, Darrel strides behind Sister and Pierrot, his anger building with each step. There wasn't a chance in Heaven or Hell he was going to let others talk badly about him without getting away with it.

Placing a firm hand on Pierrot's shoulder he leaned in to the clown's ear, "Say that again?" Darrel's voice was low, almost rumbling and reverberating in his throat. Darrel waited for an answer as he raised an eyebrow, his fingers almost clawing into Pierrot's skin like talons.

Alice can’t help but giggle a little as Bosco fell to the floor when he tried to pull out her knife. “Was it that hard?” she asked as she bent over. “Thanks for pulling that out for me, you helped me a lot.” She offered her hand to him to help him up, before she was distracted as she heard a voice from outside.

Peeking out from the tent’s entrance, her eyes widened as she saw Darrel hold Pierrot in an almost vice-like grip. What had he done this time? Her heart pounded slightly as she curled her fingers around the knife she retrieved from the pole. Hopefully, the incident will resolve itself without her having to interfere. But again, who knows what Darrel the Daring might do.

Her violet eyes flickered from Darrel to Pierrot as she shifted her concentration on her aim, while waiting to see how things turn out. She might have to take extreme measures to get Darrel to calm down, but she supposed it was worth the risk.

After standing up from his fall, Bosco brushed off his jumpsuit. Not like it mattered since he knew it was bound to get dirty and disheveled again later on in the day. The boy then pulled his hood off from his head, and shook his hair out. He looked over at Alice who seemed to be giggling at him. Thinking about it now he realized him falling was a Tad bit funny so he started to laugh as well.

"Yes, ma'am. You're becoming a pro!" Bosco answered the young girl. He handed her back the knife, holding the blade so she could grab the handle,"Any time."

Hearing voices was normal around the circus, so for Bosco he would at time tune it out. Some days it could get pretty loud which wold only distract him from his work. The only way he could work was by tuning it out. And today was no exception. When Alice peeked out the tent , he tilted his head. Bosco joined her by the tent entrance as to see what she saw. His ears finally tuning in.

His eyes widened when he saw the ringleader gripping Pierrot's shoulder. Sister stood beside the two. Once again, Bosco was confused. Why had the Pierrot done to be confronted by Darrel? Bosco thought to himself. Although he was new, he knew Darrel meant business and was not afraid to lash out on circus members if something wrong happened.

Bosco's mind went back and forth trying to decide whether it not he should say something to help in Pierrot's case. He opened his mouth but quickly shut it again. He had no idea what Pierrot had done. Maybe, just maybe Pierrot had done something idiotic that indeed needed punishing. Or maybes the ringleader was having a nice little chat with them. Given the atmosphere in the area he knew it wasn't the latter but he could still hang on to that hope.

Kainito watches the two leave as they shut the door behind them, locking it as well. For a while he is surprisingly silent, lost in whatever thought he is thinking. However he soon catches a scent in the air causing his hackles to rise as he tries to break free once again. That man, the one who forced him in this place, is near.

He rocks his chair back and forth making it wobble, his eyes cold as he manages to make it fall down on the ground, the back legs of it snapping as they hit the bars of his cage with a resounding crack. He wiggles his feet up as far as they could in the bindings as he snaps the front legs off. He feels the chair legs pressing still against his legs as he kicks his feet repeatedly until the come off as he slams his back repeatedly on the metal bars of the cage until the chairs back breaks off.

Now with blood oozing out he slowly gets to his feet and paces as far as his leash would allow him before sitting in the middle of the cell and calmly crouching down, he takes a small breath before letting out a roar, almost a taunt to the ringleader. A smirk on his face as he patiently waits, looking more like a beast than human.

Pierrot freezes as he feels the hand grip his shoulder like talons, the face under the mask dropping as his heart sinks. Darrels’ breath tickles his ear like a cat toying with a mouse, his words echoing in his ear. He really had not meant for the Ringleader to hear that, if had known he was in earshot well he wouldn’t have called him a devil…it seems he really was a fool this time around.
When he finally speaks it was a small intake of air first, as if preparing himself as he gently holds his mask. “I said I haven’t seen you around today Darrel. I said Devil Darrel because you are like a Dare Devil.” He lied, a forced tone of happiness to match the forced smile he wore underneath his mask.
“I…should go, I have to get my equipment.” He says flinching at the vice like grip he has him in, he catches a glance of young Alice and shakes his head very lightly to her, throwing a knife would be…very, very bad against this man. He can handle the punishment for this, well…as long as Darrel didn’t take his mask, Pierrot has grown quite fond of it over the years of him having to wear it.
A roar comes from where Kainito is kept once more as he turns to it, concern in his stance for the Blue Beast. He glances at Bosco, then to Sister as if expecting them to know what is going on.

Darrel

Feeling the boy freeze under his grip, Darrel gains a dirty smirk. He always loved a good game of cat and mouse.. .Where of course, he was the cat...

Pierrot seemed to be frozen in place, but managed to find the words, " “I said I haven’t seen you around today Darrel. I said Devil Darrel because you are like a Dare Devil.”

Darrel crinkled his nose in disgust for a moment, the clown was a liar... But a good one. Darrel liked that.

With a dark chuckle, the ring leader gripped the string on the back of Pierrot's mask, slinging it back and letting it slap back on the back of Pierrot's head.

"That's.. Nice..." Darrel claimed after a moment of silence, his words bitter.

“I…should go, I have to get my equipment.” Pierrot stuttered, flinching in Darrel's uncomfortable grip. Watching him squirm made Darrel excited, making people uncomfortable was Darrel's forte.

A deafening animalistic roar seemed to quake the air from where Kainito was caged up and Darrel's eyes flickered around. If the beast had gotten out of his chair again Darrel was surely going to lose it... Although it would give him a chance to bring out his whips.... Teach the brat a lesson...

Just before letting go of Pierrot, Darrel swoops in close to his ear, "You're on thin ice, Clown. I'd watch yourself..and your tongue." With those final words, Darrel takes ahold of Pierrot's neck and squeezes it, pushing Pierrot down towards the ground enough so he would stumble forward.

"Now... I have other matters to worry about." Darrel turned away from the rest and strode over to Kainito's cage. As he approached the cage, he noticed the boy had... Once again... Broken the chair and was crouched in the middle of the cage. The beast crouched in the middle seemed to smile at him, taunting Darrel.

"BOSCO!" Darrel screamed, "Grab my whips. I know a certain something needs to be taught a lesson." The words seeped through his teeth like poison.

Sister

Pierrot places a hat on Adalynne and Sister giggled a bit, “Sorry, should ask…still a bit in work mode I suppose. I have to come up with better material… I will think of something I am sure.”

Sister giggles as Adalynne tries to shake off the hat.

“I have been good, busy rehearsing and making sure I don’t hurt myself when I take those tumbles. I will say the roar from Kainito made me fall off my ball, I should get used to that. How about you?”

"I've been alright. Things have been slow." Sister shrugged as they passed Bosco and Alice.

“Bosco! Are you trying to steal my job?” Pierrot teased Bosco lightly with a chuckle.

The two continued to walk, “So far I have not seen The Devil Darrel, or was it Daring?" Sister smirked, Pierrot could always offer a good chuckle.

But the fun seemed to cease when Darrel swooped out from behind them.

"Say that again? The man's voice rumbled as he gripped on Pierrot's arm. Sister backed away a step or two, Darrel did not scare her, but she also did not want any trouble.

“I said I haven’t seen you around today Darrel. I said Devil Darrel because you are like a Dare Devil.” Pierrot covered up his mistake quickly, but Darrel wasn't an idiot... Not by a long shot.

"That's.. Nice..." The anger in Darrel's voice was a terrifying undertone.

Darrel whispered something to Pierrot, and pushed Pierrot to the ground. Darrel quickly turned his attention to the roar coming from Kainito's cage... Sister looked towards Pierrot, offering a hand.

"I am sorry, Pierrot." Sister said, offering a hand to help him up.

Hey, is this roleplay still going, orrrr...?

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

The Vocaloid song I put on here as a source? Isn't it wonderful!? It is one of my favorites. ^^

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

O.o I just saw the creepy pasta this story was based on and I was like wow. Somehow I was more fascinated than disgusted. I wonder if I'm twisted...:/

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

Let the circus...begin! (Aka ya'll can post now!)

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

Sure I can reserve circus worker two, but you would have to ask ChaosxChild13 about the family member part.

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

May I reserve circus worker 2? And I'm thinking Circus Worker 2 could be a family member, a nephew perhaps, to the ringleader?

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

Sure. ^^ I will reserve them right away. ^^

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

I see... I just thought snake from kuroshitsuji was the best fit... Then can I reserve a knife thrower for the circus workers then?

Someone else has made a snake person is there anything else you wish to be? Also Mutants in the sense of X-men wouldn't really be allowed, like you can't have powers over things.

Can I reserve a freak? Its like a mutant between a snake and a human... wonder if that's ok...

Re: The Dark Woods Circus

I'm rather interested in making a clown (if I can). Or a freak. (Unless they're the same thing...I wouldn't count a clown as a freak but...I don't know. Maybe they could be like a mime or something? Would that be considered a freak? I don't know...)

EDIT: Sorry...I decided against joining. I wish your RP success and that our path shall pass sometime again.
