Adrienne's powers are rather complicated in that she is a magical being, like her father before her. Her abilities are wide in range, and limited to her own level of control and the atmosphere around her, rather than a single spectrum or area that she can dabble in. She draws her power from three primary sources: the invocation of powerful mystic entities or objects, the manipulation of the universe's ambient magical energy, and her own psychic resources; the latter of which she has proved to be quite naturally gifted in. Adrienne's magical repertoire includes energy projection and manipulation, matter transformation, animation of inanimate objects, teleportation, illusion-casting, mesmerism, thought projection, astral projection, dimensional travel, time travel and mental possession, to name but a few. This being said, certain areas are considerably more difficult, and require far more energy. The time travel aspect of her powers is something she has yet to develop, and save for a brief, accidental stint five minutes into the past when she was thirteen, she has yet to use it. This small brush with chronokinesis left Adrienne bedridden for several days with a brutal headache, proving that this particular area of her powers was something her body was not yet prepared for.
Like her father, she is also extremely intelligent, and one of the cleverest students in the school, alongside the likes of the genius psychopath, Junior, and troublesome puzzle maker, Enzo. She is particularly learned in medical studies, biology, and psychology, similar to her surgeon parent.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Adrienne is by no means a complicated person. She does not burden herself or others with hidden motives or veiled truths. She is as straightforward as they come, the sort to state things simply; to not adorn fact with ribbon and tassels for the sake of a more poetic flourish. She likes to face things head on, and prefers to just get to the point rather than waste her time listening to the sympathetic drivel of others attempting to make news more pleasant or soften the blow. She is brutally honest at times, and although her bluntness is by no means intentionally offensive, it is not rare for her to accidentally provoke another through her lack of prudence. Diplomacy is simply not her forte, due to a combined lack of interest and vacancy of understanding.
This being said, she is not apathetic, and she can prove to be rather solicitous when the opportunity arises, at least when it comes to comforting those that she cares for. Her candid nature could easily help to paint her as a picture of forthright sophistication, sleek in her frankness. In reality, her lack of tact is further ingrained by her awkwardness, and her tendency to get in way over head, inspired by faith in her own ability. Her social skills are by no means the pièce de résistance of her personality, and although she'd never admit it, she has embarrassed herself a fair few times thanks to the explosive result caused by a concoction of her tactlessness and her short temper. She is rather prideful, and doesn't care for being doubted or insulted, and tends to see such things as challenges for her to overcome. Whether it be a random trait lodged in her personality, or something passed down from her father, she is a constant state of having something to prove. Weakness is something she doesn't relate herself to, and her pride keeps her from noting its presence when said presence occurs.
Remarkably intelligent, Adrienne's lack of social ineptitude seems to be more than made up for in terms of her vast academic intellect. She enjoys learning, and her curiosity is buoyed by her desire to always improve herself, particularly in terms of her mental capacity. One of her most admirable qualities is her quick wit, which can both entice laughter and wound egos depending on how she uses it. She is prone to sarcasm, and is very fast when it comes to thinking on her feet.
Adrienne highly values friendship, and is fiercely loyal, and as a result, is extremely protective. Be it empty threats or actual danger directed towards those she cares about, Adrienne will not take it well, and all of her supposed cool calmness will go straight out the window. Despite her seeming lack of an affable personality, Adrienne is not without humor and affection. Her wry jokes are one thing, but her consideration for others is perennial.
Even if she isn't quite the best at showing it.

... for I have loved the stars too fondly...

L I K E S
despite seeming like a rather icy individual at times, there are a great number of small, everyday occurrences that entice a feeling of pleasure in the young sorceress. She prefers winter and autumn over the other two seasons, due to her firm stance as a pluviophile, finding comfort in rainy weather, with thunder also being an aspect of the cooler weather that she enjoys. She is an avid reader, and literature, particularly the more classical works, are something she invests a considerable amount of her spare time with. She is fascinated by psychology, and even prefers this area of science to her father's preferred area of biology. She can often be seen solving the puzzles and riddles located in the daily newspaper in remarkably short amounts of time, before keeping herself up-to-date with the world's most recent, notable events. She loves m&m's above all other junkfoods, and could easily scoff several packets of them whilst binge-watching her favourite television shows, which include Sherlock, Hannibal, Luthor, and Game of Thrones. She has an odd penchant for stargazing, and finds solace in simply lying, looking up at them, admiring the glittery abyss and naming constellations. She enjoys intelligent conversation, be it the likes of an intense debate or a simple case of witty banter. She enjoys the company of those whom can keep up, and finds those with sharper minds among the more engaging of companions. That being said, she adores laughing, and the feeling of elevation that comes with humor. Which is why she appreciates anyone with a good sense of humor.

being as opinionated as she is, it should come as shock to no one that there are a great many things that compile Adrienne's list of dislikes. However, to save time and effort, I shall name but a few. Like most right-minded people, she feels an intense loathing towards racism, sexism, and hypocrisy, and well as bullies. She is very dedicated to keeping things fair, and thus cheats are something she cannot stand, be they cheating in a test or on a romantic partner. Any attacks on her pride, such as insults or embarrassing situations are something she is strongly opposed to, and she tends to take the former as a challenge. She isn't very fond of hot weather, and is godawful at swimming. She doesn't like losing or being wong, although when either happens she isn't the sort to descend into the loathsome pits of bad sportsmanship. She is also slightly nervous with heights.

... to be fearful of the night.

H I S T O R Y
Adrienne was born of a brief affair that blossomed into what both parties assumed would be a long relationship. Naturally, they assumed wrong. Adrienne's father, Dr Vincent Strange, flirted profusely with her mother, Gloria Glover, when he first met her at a New Year's party hosted by a fellow surgeon. He a man of natural charm and hypnotic charisma, and she a woman of sharp wit and smooth elegance, it was not long before the pair were on dating terms. Eight months later, it was discovered that Gloria was pregnant, and Vincent proposed that they keep the child, and move in together. Gloria agreed, entranced by a somewhat toxic combination of the doctor's personality... and his exceptionally large paychecks. However, Vincent instead chose to keep his magical abilities a secret, for fear of driving her away too soon. Their child was born, and the first couple of years were bliss. Vincent was no fool, and deep down, a part of him knew that Gloria cared more for his material possessions than his personality, but love blinded him, and on Adrienne's second birthday, he proposed marriage. Gloria accepted, and they were engaged for three months.
It was then that Adrienne began showing her genetically inherited magical abilities for the first time, and Vincent was forced to finally come clean about his secret. Gloria decided then and there that she was better off without either of them. She walked out a week later, and in the two years following, Vincent would learn that she'd moved to Chicago, and was engaged to an sixty-something oil tycoon.
She'd always known how to pick 'em, Gloria did.
Meanwhile, Vincent taught Adrienne the art of magic, helping her to hone her natural abilities. If Adrienne were quite honest, he always felt more like a harsh mentor than a loving father. He kept his flirtatious ways, and Adrienne's childhood was bombarded with wannabee 'mother figures', most of which lasted a couple of months at most before being replaced. It was a rather dull pattern, as far as Adrienne was concerned, but she paid it little heed. This resulted in a rather estranged relationship between she and Vincent, although she could not lie and say that his teaching weren't necessary. Especially considering her high school days of expulsions due to accidental commitments of arson, thanks to emotional flares and powers not yet under complete control.
She's grown up since then, and she and her father are still rather estranged. She rarely sees him, and she's fine with that.
She's got bigger things to worry about.

So begins...

Descendant Academy. School for the lucky few who are the offspring of the worlds leading heroes, superheroes, villains and vigilantes. Unlike any other schools, even Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. Here they are raised, trained, educated and prepared for what the world has in store. Some preparing to take up their parent's places, while others make their own identities. Each student here arriving at different points in their lives. But that's irrelevant.

It's another day just like any other in the Academy. Phil and Alfred take the elevators down to floor L1, making their way to the lecture hall. As they made their way down the long corridor, Phil glances over the paperwork in his hands while speaking, "J.A.R.V.I.S.?" "Yes sir?" He flips over another page in his folder before adding, "Send out the alarm." "Of course sir." After a moment or two J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice rang throughout every room in Descendant Tower, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Phil clears his throat, "J.A.R.V.I.S..." The computer's voice adds in his announcement to the building, "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Alfred made his way around Phil, removing his key from his lapel, sliding it into the deadbolt and unlocking the door. He stood there, holding open the door for Coulson. "Such a late start today?" Phil laughed slightly while walking into the room, turning on the lights. "Well they aren't going to be happy about today's assignment. I figured I'd at least let them sleep in before they decided to hate me for the day," Phil smiled towards Alfred. He then walked up to the desk at the front of the room, setting down his files as Alfred enters after him asking, "May I ask what is on the agenda today?" Phil double checks his papers before replying, "Exercise 23."

Alred glanced over his shoulder at Phil, "I assume I'll be needing the crate?" Coulson chuckled as he took a seat at the front of the room. "I told you they weren't going to like us today Al."

Deadpool suit, top portion hanging on hips, black sports bra & Ray Bans

Wren never did sleep like everyone else did. The last time she remembers actually sleeping she was probably a teen and still adjusting to her strange abilities. But for years her stamina has made it nearly impossible for her to get tired enough to need sleep. So while everyone else usually slept she would wonder around Descendant Tower, read books or find something else to occupy her time. If one of her classmates saw her during that time that'd probably have a heart attack because she usually is silent... Sometimes. Ok well she talks to herself on occasion but that's not her fault she'd mentally unstable.

That evening she spent her solitary time reading Homer's the Iliad. Light reading right? Having as much free time as Wren had she had plenty of time to read books, and she didn't believe in reading the same book twice. She hadn't realized how much time had passed or how engrossed she was in the book until she heard J.A.R.V.I.S.'s announcement. Wren looked over at the clock on her wall, "1 o'clock already? Jesus Homer... Stop being so needy I have places to go." She slid a book mark into the novel, slightly frustrated that she was so close to the end and had to stop. "We will continue later Homes." She sets the book down on the window seat and walks over to the closet that is her bedroom in club of a penthouse.

Wren grabbed her suit that her father gave her from the closet and tossed it onto the bed. It wasn't always her favorite thing to wear but in this place, curve balls were thrown at them when they least expected it, and she'd hate to be caught off guard in jeans. Have you ever tried to kick ass in skinny jeans? Not that easy. But that didn't mean she wouldn't make the suit her own when she wore it. Wren wiggled into her suit, but only wore the pant portion leaving the top half to dangle from her waist like many people wear their overalls, her utility belt holding it up. Deciding to keep it simple she only wore a black sports bra as a top, not really giving a rat's ass what anyone would say. Wren definitely wasn't one to wear the cliche mask unless she went out in public, so she just tucked it away in her belt.

As she made her way towards the elevator, she grabbed her ipod and sunglasses from the table near the doors, then pressed the down button. While waiting Wren put on her Ray Bans, and put in her ear buds, pressing shuffle. The elevator opened as the song Chandelier by Sia begins to blast in her ears. She enters the elevator, pressing L1 before she begins to go down. As she slowly makes her descension, Wren begins to bounce around and dance to the music.

The doors open up to the main hall that leads down the center of floor L1. Once the doors were open completely, she slides out into the corridor like Tom Cruise belting out the lyrics to the song, "I'M GONNA SWINGGGGGG FROM THE CHANDELIERRRR!!!! FROM THE CHANDELIERRRRRR!!" Wren bobs her head, twirling and strutting down the long hallway not caring who sees her. "Help me, I'm holding on for dear life. Won't look down, won't open my eyes. Keep my glass full until morning light, 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight, On for tonight, On for tonigh-" Just as she reaches Alfred who's standing outside the classroom, she freezes mid-step, mid-song and mid-dance when she sees the crate sitting on the ground before him.

Wren pulls her earbuds out, "Al... please tell me you're just pulling a prank on me?" Alfred sent an apologetic smile towards her as he outstretches his right hand towards her. "I'm afraid not Miss Wilson... All weapons please." She rolled her eyes, scoffing slightly as she grabs the pair of pistols from her thigh holsters, setting it in Al's hand. He set the gun in the crate, then looked back towards her. "What!?" Al cleared his throat, motioning for her to hand over more. "Oh for fucks sake!" She reaches behind her back grabbing the pistol that was tucked into the back of her pants, setting it in his hand. She then bends over pulling 2 bowie knives that were tucked into her boots. Wren then holds out her hands before rotating in a circle so he can look her over. "Did I pass the inspection?" Al managed a soft chuckle before extending his hand once more, "Phone too miss." She growled, squinting her eyes as she set her phone in his palm. "You're lucky I like you pops."

Now that she was completely stripped of every comfort she had on her other than her clothing, Wren made her way into the classroom. She didn't hesitate to walk right up to the front row center, spinning a chair around so she could sit on it backwards, straddling the back. "You know, if we wanted to kill each other we would've already."

Black slacks, spats, black silk shirt with green question mark pattern, green suspenders & green bolder hat

Enzo, unlike most of his classmates, had his shit together for lack of a better term. He knew when class was before the bogus announcement from J.A.R.V.I.S. He was sure at that moment many of them would be stumbling out of bed and rushing to get ready and get to class in time. The thought made him chuckle as he finished shaving his face, then rinsed his face with water from the sink. Enzo looked back up at his reflection as his ran his wet hands back through his hair, slicking it back as he walked back out to his bedroom. Making his way over to his bed, he pushed his suspenders off of his shirtless torso letting them to fall to a rest on either side of his legs. He grabbed the black silk shirt covered with the green question marks, slipping his arms into the sleeves before he began to button it.

Enzo always enjoyed playing with the stereotype his father started behind the Riddler persona, taking pride in dressing similarly to how his dad used to. He always dressed in formal wear so it wasn't much different except everything he owned was either green, black or purple and almost always had a question mark on it somewhere. After all, he is the Riddler right? When his shirt was buttoned, he tucked it into his slacks, then tugged his suspenders back up. Tucking his cane under his left arm, he made his way towards the elevator. Enzo pressed the down button before reaching over and grabbing the green bolder hat that hung on the coat rack. And for his own amusement he flipped it up in the air, catching it perfectly atop his head just before the doors opened.

Patiently, Enzo road the elevator down the many floors towards level L1, resting his hands on his cane that he had standing before him. As the doors slid open he slowly made his way down the long corridor. The only sound to be heard was the clicking of his dress shoes on the tile and the tapping of the cane's base in sync with his stride. Upon reaching the class room he saw Al waiting. Enzo raised a suggestive brow before rolling his eyes. He didn't need to wait until Al extended his hand towards him to know what he wanted. Reluctantly, he held out his golden question mark cane. "Not a scratch Al."

After forfeiting his weapon Enzo entered the classroom, seeing the rather enthusiastic Wren sitting up front, seemingly bothering Phil. No doubt she was complaining about the restrictions to firearms and weapons in the classroom that day. Luckily for him, she was too preoccupied to notice his entrance and he'd rather keep it that way. So as quietly as he could, he slipped into a chair towards the back of the room. He then leaned back in his chair, crossing his feet and entangling his fingers in his lap patiently.

Nathaniel had woken up way before sunrise after a nice power nap on his bench press followed by a combination of a protein shake and coffee. He was in the middle of doing pulls when he heard J.A.R.V.I.S over his music. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Nathaniel lowered himself from the bar and looked over at the clock. He hadn't even realized how much had passed. He figured Junior or Enzo would have busted through his door by now to have him compete in some tedious task that involved getting into a fight with someone who insulted their egos and then taking the fall. Nathaniel spent a lot of time in Bruce and Tony Stark's offices but never said a word. He would just sit there and wait for his punishment to be announced.

Once his feet hit the mats laid on his floor, Nathaniel looked down at his sweats and realized he was dripping wet from working out. He quickly popped himself in the shower for not even a minute to wash off and not completely wreak before grabbing some new clothes and putting on deodorant and cologne. Just because he dressed casual, didn't mean he needed to cheap out on cologne. He only wore the nicest and most expensive brands since he has a weird obsession with the way he smells and actually gets a bit self conscious about it. Nathaniel was nearly out the door when he realized he still had his glasses on. He quickly went back to his bathroom and replaced them for contacts. He'd rather not have to deal with a physical assignment today while having to worry about adjusting his glasses.

Nathaniel was finally able to go out his door and walk quickly down the hall and down the elevator to floor L1. The doors slid open and Nathaniel was soon greeted by Alfred. His eyes quickly scanned over the surroundings and he took note of the box that contain far too many guns that must belong to Wren or Alex. Nathaniel stood a bit straight and put his arms out. He had no weapons on him at the moment and didn't really care if Alfred had to search him. He had nothing to hide. "Good afternoon, Mr. Bane. How was your morning routine?" Alfred patted Nathaniel over and took a step back. Nathaniel grunted a response since he felt obligated to respond to him. "Good." Was all he said before pushing past him and walking into the room. A few classmates had already arrived but Nathaniel knew better than to sit just anywhere. He unfortunately had to sit with Gotham's most wanted and also mot psychotic. Enzo was the only other one from their trio present and Nathaniel quietly took a seat next to him. He sat straight in his chair and put his arms in front of him while locking his fingers together instead of leaning back like his 'friend'. The ring leader was unfortunately not here yet. He's most likely waiting for his grand entrance... Nathaniel thought.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

"K" groaned Anansi, even though she was still face down in her pillow, dreaming peacefully.

"Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Anansi popped up. The sun was shining in her bed room, creeping across the floor. She looked at the clock on her bedside table. She swore she just closed her eyes.

The wake up call was usually earlier then this, unless...

"Oh no..." She hurried out of bed, dashing around her room, she showered as quickly as she could, she didn't even bother to put on a shower cap and her hair was going to hate her for it. Once she finished that, she slipped on her body suit, leaving the top upzipped and the sleeves tied around her waste, a black sports bra keeping her modest, but still showing off the warm brown skin of her naval. Her wild curly sprung out every which way, as she brushed and she didn't think she had time to even bother with it.

Trying to fix all of that would take much to long and she knew she was going to want to be in class as early as possible. She wished she'd turned in early, but now, she wanted a party in her penthouse which kept her up half to night cleaning up after everyone.

She snickered. She had a helluva time though, she knew she threw the best parties.

Once she finished she grabbed her webshooters, refilled them and brought refills. Something Peter to her she should do, something he never did. Her suit was outfitted with pockets for refills. His hadn't been.
She locked and loaded, grabbed her backpack and ran out the door, swinging down the halls until she got to the elevators, where she had to impatiently wait, but then got back to swinging until she swung right in front of Alfred.

The old man was something else, he didn't even blink, but she figured after years of looking after Bruce Wanye, he's seen it all.

"Good Morning, Alfred." she said with a pearly white smile.
"Good Morning, Ms. Morales." He said, as he checked her for weapons, he beckoned her with a wave of his hands. "Oh C'mon, They aren't weapons, not entirely..." she said, but gave them up anyway. Typically, she wouldn't have complained but she wanted to be prepared. Professor Coulson never let them sleep in unless they would need the extra sleep, sleep that she never got. Alfred didn't respond beyond his wizen old smile and she huffed and stepped inside.

She looked around the room and saw most of her friends were already there.

"Morning Twinkies!" she called out to The Drake Twins as she walked in. She saw Cree and waved at her, brightly. Nathaniel and Max, Magni and Wren, Alex, Astrid and Adrienne too. She ignored Joker Jr and grinned at Enzo. She still didn't get the last riddle he had, and at this point she couldn't remember what it even was. She spotted Liz and Tommy and decided she'd go sit with them. She grabbed a seat next to Liz. "Morning, Lizzie." she said and kissed her bestie's temple. She always did that, why, she couldn't say. She walked over to Tommy, leaning over him, her curly hair hanging in her face, as she tapped his shoulder. "Morning Tommy." she said, with a bright smile. Liz already knew how big of a crush she had on Tommy, she was glad she sat near him, it gave her an excuse to sit with him. She was sure Liz could hear all of the school girl crush-ey thoughts bouncing around Anansi's head, she didn't care much because most of this, she always told her.

Once she was sure he was awake, she took her own seat, in front of him and Liz.

"I'm some friends over later, play some video games, My dad sent over the new Fallout, Wanna come over?" She asked, and honestly, she just had the idea the moment she saw him. She was impulsive that way, any excuse to have friends over, or in this case, for him to come over.

Image Cameron wasn't asleep. His eyes were closed and he was in bed, but he wasn't asleep. He was mediating, both of his ring glowing bright, their respective lanterns sitting on his bed. He'd slept that night, but he rose earlier. The time on this planet was still something he had to get used to. Oa had a sun but it never shined as brightly as the Earth's sun did. His circadian rhythm didn't work like the rest of the Earthlings.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Cameron's eyes opened and the bright glowing power rings dimmed, but only slightly. He took a deep breath, and uncrossed his legs, climbing out of bed. He'd already showered -that something he'd grown fond of- and changed into his clothes, some loose denim pants, a loose shirt and what everyone called a hoodie. He made his way toward class, as J.A.R.V.I.S spoke again. He took his time, as he approached Alfred.

"Good Morning, Mr. Stewart."

"Mr. Pennyworth."Cameron greeted, handing over his yellow ring but he hesitated. "You'll get them back before classes are finished."Alfred reassured and Cameron nodded and pulled his green ring off as well, he placed them in Alfred's hand and felt naked without that. He'd worked hard for the yellow ring, and the green was his only connection to his father. Parting with them, nearly every day, was hard, and didn't seem to get any easier with each passing day.

He walked inside the classroom, and took a set in the back, farthermost from everyone. Most didn't even see him there, and that was fine. He had what most would call friends, but he preferred to be alone.

So he watched, he watched as Magni entered, barking as usual. Cameron smirk, so slight it looked like a twitch. Much like himself, Magni was not of this world, he understood as much as he did, which meant very little. This world was a confusing place.

He sat quietly in his seat, thinking to himself, what else he would have to learn of this new place. Anansi, had be so kind as to give him a list of all the things she thought he should see but honestly, he wasn't sure if he had the time. There was a lot on her list.

As if called by her thoughts, The sweet girl practically skipped into the room. She hadn't seen him, but she waved to all that she did see, screaming her greetings, she took a seat nearest the dark boy, Thomas and the telepath, Elizabeth. Anansi's affection for the girl was charming and her fondness of the boy obvious.

Cameron just turned back to his thoughts, thinking about perhaps one day attending the parties Anansi always seems to throw. He'd been here a year but never accepted her invitation.

ImageHis tongue had found a way to poke out the corner of his mouth as he jabbed the control buttons rapidly, laying back on his bed. Jarvis came over the system, dulling his game to assure the vital announcements were heard by all and Matthew instinctively looked at the time though there wasn’t much changing he could do about a class. And it wasn’t as if in this instance it was of utter inconvenience. He turned off the console and screen and snatched up his phone heading over to the elevator. He pressed L1 and opened his favorite app as the elevator took it’s course. There was the rare calm class where he could sit and play on his phone under the desk and build his village more. It wasn’t always inconspicuous but in the more chilled classes, people didn’t pay it much attention. Plus, he tried not to make a habit of it. When the doors slid open, he proceeded, letting his peripheral vision guide him. However, when he heard certain clattering, he looked up and smiled. β€œAlfred.” Then he noticed the crate for weapon collection. Matthew didn’t have any on his being so went to bypass Alfred. β€œI’m afraid your phone will also have to be deposited for this lesson, Mr. Grayson.”
β€œWhat? No. I can’t. Not yet.” Alfred didn’t move but stared expectantly. Matthew swept to his side and showed him the game. β€œSee that?” He hovered his finger. β€œ5 more minutes then the cannon’s upgraded and I have enough gold to upgrade the archer tower. But I can’t do that right now, because with two defenses down my village will be susceptible to attack. Not to mention, I don’t have a builder free. And in this game, 5 minutes makes all the difference in the world. And I’m saving my gems to purchase shields. But I gotta spend the gold asap otherwise it will be raided.” After a moments of silence and evident lack of shared enthusiasm, Matthew side-glanced to Alfred.
β€œA fine strategy and good maintenance over a poorly animated village, sir. However, if you’d care to make my duty easier…”
Matt's lips pulled to the side and he dropped his phone in the crate then walked into the class.

When his eyes fell on Wren and registered her sports bra on display, he felt like he had walked into a girls bathroom and was invading her privacy. He shielded her from his vision and found any available seat to him, pressing his palm to his temple until he got his shit together. Like you've never seen a girl in a bikini before. Slowly he dragged his hand down his face. The class was filling and buzzing with chit-chat. He leaned his head back searching for his friends. Anansi was around but near the back with Tommy. And much as he loved the buzzing girl, it wasn't worth tension in the air. Even Liz was back that way. Wren preoccupied in Magni. Adrienne, nowhere to be seen. And a little cluster in the middle. So alone would do him for now. It'd be easier with his game but that was apparently not an option.

ImageRenee had been awake about a two hours before J.AR.V.I.S' message. After Anansi's party, she'd gone to bed, without changing so she made it a point to wake up earlier to take a nice long bathe....that took her a bit longer than she intended. She dressed in her combat gear, but she took her time with her make up and hair. She was battle ready that didn't mean she had to look bummy. By the time she was done, she was impressively late.

She grabbed her cards and her father's bo staff and made her way to L1 where Alfred greeted her. "Morning, Ms. Lebeau." He said and she smiled politely, coughing up her cards, the bo staff that she twisted and compacted into a 6 inch baton, also removed her phone as well. "G'Mornin', Mr. Pennyworth, you must forgive mah tardiness," she said with her southern drawl and cajun flare. "You made it just in time, Ms. Lebeau, though this it new for you." He said and she shrugged. "I know, and I'm so sorry, it's just been one of d'em mornin's, can't say it won't 'appen again, but I'll try mah best." The cajun girl said and Alfred gave her a smile and let her pass. "Very Good, Ms. Lebeau"

Once inside, she scanned the room. Everyone was pretty much there. Alfred was right, it was new, she was rarely late for classes, but the bath she took, a little longer then she intended, but it was worth it, she smelled of lavender, and it followed her into the room.

"Hey, Renee!" Anansi called, waving from where she sat with Tommy and Liz. "Hey, Suga!" she said, with a finger wave before making her way toward the twins. Her oldest and closest friends. "Mornin' boys. Cree-girl." she said, as she blew all kisses as she took a seat beside Aiden. "Sorry, I'm late, but it takes time to look dis good." she said gesturing to herself with a laugh. "Just teasin"

Magni eyed Wren curiously as she seemed to space out. Once she spoke again he was still rather confused. What was she talking about? "I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" He asked. He then sniffed the air to get a good whiff of her odor. "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." He assured her. Why she would care if others sat near her was beyond him. He didn't care either way. Everyone was of little concern to the Asgardian Prince. Though he did find Wren....amusing at times.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy." He stated. Thor had made it a point for him to be familiarized with some of the Midgard literature. "Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it." He explained. "Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." He added with a note of contempt. Pfft, Greek Gods, as if. His attention was then brought back to Wren as she motioned around them.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move." He asserted. "You are as adequate company as the next." He assured her. "You as uninteresting to me as the next." He added as he gestured around them. "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." He stated in a rather cold manner that is common for him. He wasn't really trying to make her feel better or anything, he was just stating his opinion.

And then they were joined by Jai West, the son of the Flash. Magni was barely able to keep up with his super fast speaking as he spoke to Wren. And then he turned to Magni. Magni rolled his eyes as he spoke. Like super strong? Sort of a God? He was super strong, and he was a God. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God." He corrected the speedster. "Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy." Magni replied as he cracked his knuckles with a rather bloodthirsty look in his eye. "I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle."

[color-#000052]"I don't need charity."[/color] Tommy replied to Anasri's offer. He looked down at his hands as he twiddled his thumbs. "Well, in all fairness Magni is a lot lighter on his feet than he appears. Seriously, I bet he'd be a good dancer if you know he didn't want to go all Conan the Barbarian on everything." Tommy pointed out followed by a slight chuckle as he imagined Magni dancing. "Besides, isn't that kinda cheap talk coming from you guys? You guys have always had powers. Webhead you're about as fast, and agile as me without even trying. And Liz....well you can probably bench press as much as I can without using your arms."

"Meh whatever. I can be just as adaptable with my claws." Tommy added as he placed his hands behind his head, and leaned back in his chair. They were soon interrupted by the arrival of Renee, fashionably late of course. Tommy gave her a small nod hello. He then noticed Matt in the room, and slightly scuffed at his presence. "Well there's the nephew. Wonder where the niece is?" He muttered to himself. Well it was loud enough for those near him to hear him, but it was not directed to anyone.

Tommy chuckled slightly to himself as he thought of ways to mess with Matt. Since he had to give up his phone he could easily steal it from the old man, and feel it full of dude-on-dude action. Or maybe just animals going at it. He's not quite sure which would be funnier. He then glanced over at Liz who probably heard his thoughts about pranking Matt. 'Don't judge me. I'm a petty, petty man.' He thought to himself in case she was listening in on him.

ADRIENNE STRANGE
attireβ”‚xXXβ€’XXsongβ”‚weatheredXXβ€’XXmoodβ”‚languid

Most would assume Adrienne to be a morning person. Intelligent, stoic, a complete perfectionist; such traits were often possessed by the likes of the organised early birds, up a the crack of dawn, prepared for the day before it even broke. But Adrienne is loathe to stereotypes, and this one in particular could not be further from the truth.

In truth, the girl was similar to a sloth in terms of sleeping patterns, and tended to remain enveloped in her star-adorned duvet long after her initial awakening, simply enjoying the coziness her beloved blankets brought, and perhaps keeping herself company with one of the many books that were stacked about the apartment.

This particular morning, Adrienne had awoken around ten-ish, and decided against getting up, instead opting for dozing, face warmed by the soft sunlight that filtered through her window's blinds. Then, after the novelty had started to wane, she'd climbed sluggishly out of bed, prepared some breakfast, and returned to her bed. A single slice of toast slotted between her lips as she held a book in one hand and a mug of hot chocolate in the other. She'd propped up some pillows as to soften the bed's backboard, and spent the next two and a half hours engrossed in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

It was halfway through chapter thirty that Adrienne's perusing was interrupted by a familiar English accent, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 1300 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Adrienne's glanced up at the speaker with furrowed eyebrows, before reluctantly folding down the corner of the book and clamoring out of bed. She passed the mirror, before backtracking as to get a better look at her reflection. A grizzled individual stared back, ebony hair a tangled mess and a chocolate fringe around her mouth from her morning beverage. Adrienne clicked her tongue, pondering the amount of time she had to adjust herself into an image at least slightly presentable. Her expression was skeptical. Fifteen minutes, huh? She sighed, shrugging. "Not likely."

Precisely ten minutes later, Adrienne had managed a quick shower -a severe change from her typical interminable soaks- and thrown on a typical outfit. Even during physical training, Adrienne could often be seen wearing her usual trench coat and trousers, as opposed to the more suitable attires of her 'classmates'. Sports bras and supersuits were hardly Adrienne's style, and she detested exercise about as much as she cherished slumber.

A minute after that, Adrienne was approaching the balding gentleman and his table of weaponry. Alfred knew better than to bother stopping her, and instead he offered her a raise of the eyebrow and a wry smile. "Slept in, Miss Strange?"

Adrienne offered him an equally satirical expression. "That implies an initial intent to get up early. I had nothing of the sort."

Alfred tutted disapprovingly, "Perhaps you should change that."

Adrienne passed him, raising her hands as her tied her dark locks up into a ponytail. "Perhaps. But I doubt I will."

The doors slid open with a smooth snickt, and Adrienne gazed around the room scrutinizingly. Her classmates had already begun to knot and bundle. The little groups dotted around the room like flies on fly paper, some significantly less comfortable than others. Catching sight of Nathaniel, Adrienne stepped to join him, only for Matthew to catch her eye. He was stationed by his lonesome, and even a girl as stony as Adrienne had to note his appearance of despondency with a hint of sympathy.

Just a hint, though.

Tucking her hands into her pockets, she approached his back, looking over him with perusal. A teasingly pitying look touched her features, "What a depressing sight."

Max sat leaning back in his chair as he watched the others file in. First came Magni, his brutish Asgardian acquaintance. Magni went straight towards Wren and the front of the classroom. Max had previously noted their odd friendship. It didn't fit, yet they always seemed to be around one another. A few others filed in before he saw the first of the the people he uually sat with enter the classroom. It was Cree. Max smiled at her as she rushed towards him, talking about her latest robotics project. She was always so excited when it came to these things. Not that Max minded, she was the only one he could get extremely nerdy with. He appreciated that part of their friendship, along with the mutual trust they had built.

While Cree was telling Max about her robotic dog, Max saw Aiden and Ethan walk in. Aiden took up his usual place near the back. He never sat with them in class. Max wondered why, but Aiden was odd, and it was best not to question him. Max knew Aiden was there when he was needed. Ethan walked toward them and waited patiently for the topic to change. Max nodded to him, but lost focus when he saw Liz Natchios step into the classroom. Max and Liz had an odd relationship to say the least. He was definitely attracted to her. She was just a little bit over bearing. He had an idea that she was crushing on him. It took a lot to make Max commit though. He was too much of a flirt, and he didn't want to give that up for just anything. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as she approached, and flashed his signature nervous smile towards her.

Max watched the rest of his fellow extra ordinary humans file in as small talk went on all around him. He was uncharacteristically quiet this morning. He was bothered by the fact that he was going to have to go into the training session without his suit. He always felt useless without it. Max knew he was still as smart, if not smarter, than anyone. He knew he could go fist to fist with most, but people like Magni and Bane would crush him. Those same people didn't dare try him when he had his suit on. They would much rather keep him as their ally. He just wasn't as confident without it. His inner musings were interrupted by the sight of Lilly entering the room. Max couldn't lie. He had a major thing for blondes. They weren't close or anything, but he always smiled anyways when he saw her. Max looked away and returned to his thoughts.

"I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" Magni said before sniffing the air and adding, "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." Wren almost did a double take at the comment not knowing if she should feel insulted or laugh. So she laughed, "Glad to know that I only stink like all the other 'puny mortals'." She said it in her best Magni impersonation. "Because... You know, Asgardians smell like Japanese cherry blossom." Ok so she'd be lying if she said Magni didn't smell pleasant like most men. It was apparent that not all Earthly things were foreign to him, such as showers and deodorant.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy. Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it. Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." Wren nodded her head in slight surprise at his knowledge of the subject. "You know Oh brutish one, that learning about other cultures is important... Like the Trojan horse. Ingenious idea if you think about it. Hiding in a structure depicting a religious matter to gain entrance to an impenetrable city." Wren knew Magni was stubborn and thought he was perfect in his knowledge the way he is. But everyone can learn something knew. "Even you can learn a thing or 2 from Earth's history.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move. You are as adequate company as the next. You are as uninteresting to me as the next." Wren scoffed, resting her arm on the back of the chair before her as Magni motioned towards the room. "Well don't you just know how to make a girl feel special? "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." Wren leaned towards him slightly, raising a curious brow. "So if you don't care if anyone sits near you... Then why choose to sit next to me? After all, I'm as 'uninteresting' as everyone else in here." He could play his tough act all he wanted but Wren knew that somewhere in there was a normal caring person. Plus people don't just choose to sit next to her unless they like her because she's annoying.

Wren knew Jai had entered before seeing him. Between the quick breeze of air, books knocking over then to the rapid fire at Coulson. It was only a matter of time before his attention shot in her direction. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it." Hell of a way to start a conversation. Wren glanced down at her bra, tugging at the top of it before looking back up at him. "Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?"

Wren shook her head, laughing. "First of all... FUCK! Man seriously!? You're dreaming of me in a tiny cocoanut bra!?" She raised her hand to smack him in the back of the head. "And you do realize making babies involves conception? With your speed you'd be what?... Done in 5 seconds, give or take. So how would someone who couldn't make it past half a minute supposed to work with someone who has stamina so high that they never sleep? Think on that for a minute." She grinned teasingly, "I need someone like Terminator over here." Wren playfully smacks Magni's bicep. "And we're talking about Magni's pent up unconditional love for me... It's quite moving."

Happy that it wasn't her turn anymore, Wren grabbed the back of the chair and leaned back so that Jai and Magni could see each other. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?" Wren started cracking up laughing before Magni could speak. She knew Magni would kick his ass. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God. Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy. I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle." Wren wouldn't actually mind it if they fought except for the fact she would almost guarantee that Jai would loose. And she liked the kid on occasion. "Did you know that Magni is a god? I didn't know that. It's not like he says it nearly every time he speaks." Wren grinned deviously towards Magni.

Phil sat somewhat patiently at the desk in the front of the classroom, strumming his fingers along the wooden surface. He wouldn't admit out loud that he was happy that class today was going to be brief... Well at least the portion including him. He glanced down at his watch. Upon seeing the time, Phil cleared his throat which got Alfred's attention. With their gaze met, he motion his index and middle finger beckoning Alfred to come join him. Luckily for Alfred, the crate containing the abundance of weapons was on wheels so he was easily able to roll in into the classroom and up to the front beside the desk. Phil then put up his hand motioning for everyone in the room to quiet down. "It's time to begin. Whomever isn't here... Well hopefully they show up before the training begins or they'll get an automatic failure for the exercise."

He looked over towards Alfred who then began to speak. "I know you all are less than content with the collection of your weaponry and gadgets upon entry. But for the sake of the exercise today we are limiting everyone to their basics... Which is quite literally the clothes on your back." Alfred reopens the crate before the classroom, "I apologize," He clears his throat, "Ms. Luther, your gauntlets and contact lenses if you have them in. Mr. Stark, your suit will have to remain in the classroom during the exercise. And Ms. Wakandas, Dumisami must either wait in the room during the exercise or return to your penthouse." Alfred addressed each of the students as he spoke. "If I have missed anything, or one of you are trying to pull a fast one on me please have some shred of decency to place the items in the crate." He motioned towards the crate before facing Phil slightly.

"Alright then," Phil spoke up once again, "As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. Well, if you can call them ordinary. Out of the kindness I have allowed you all extra time to sleep in... or do whatever it is you all do in the mornings." He made a shooing motion with his hand before continuing, "This exercise is going to test you all on varying levels that will exploit your weakest levels. Alfred and I have been around you all a long time. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are."

Before Phil felt like he was going to completely loose their attention, he decided to cut to the chase. "So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." It didn't take long for Wren to chime in, "What?... Like that cheesy movie with Kurt Russell?" Phil sighed, nodding his head, "In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian." It sounded simple enough right? Leave it to Wren to catch on, "... What's the catch?"

Phil smiled, which was indeed a rare sight. "Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses."

Before concluding, Alfred held up his index finger to interject. "You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Then Phil added, "And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night." He crossed his arms over his chest to show that he wasn't kidding before asking, "Any questions?"

Image"Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." Astrid responded. He nodded along and shrugged. He didn't even have a guess or care much for one. Whatever happened, happened. They were along for the ride once they entered the classroom. And Caleb was fairly certain he could take whatever came his way. "I should have had some coffee," she added after a moment.
"Maybe you should have." He agreed. "Obviously you need whatever substance you can to be in peak condition." He smirked at her.

When Astrid grabbed his arm he looked down at her hand then up at her startled face. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" Caleb followed her gaze to see Magni and Jai and Wren just kicking back. Magni looked moments away from throwing a punch, that much was right. "I don't know. Depends." To finish any prompts of what, he continued. "It depends if Jai moves fast enough or if Magni's that determined to hit him." He replicated a casual shrug and smile. Little fights were entitled to break out in the academy. Not everyone saw eye to eye and some people would literally ask to test the others skill. He didn't need his super hearing to gather that was likely the case. If it were a heated instance, the room would be upside down.

Phil begun his speech up the front of the class and Caleb glanced to Astrid. "Relax." She was such a den mother. When his ears caught to save the civilian. They didn't even get to pick their partners from a hat. Again, he looked to his closest company hearing Phil announce the pairs are based on relationships and similar power. The arena accounting for their strengths and weaknesses. Astrid and he struggled to work together so he was a little worried they'd be at each other's throat for this one. "Good guess," he muttered. He rolled his eyes back to the front and awaited the pairing.

Image"What a depressing sight." Matt simply cocked his head back to confirm the face to the voice he was familiar with and grinned. "Hey, stranger." He admittedly thought himself a little more clever than he was for playing on her name in that way. "I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." He shifted in his seat to look at her from a more comfortable position, making a show of wrapping his arm around the spare seat. "How have you been today anyway?" His grin returned and poor act dropped.

Pretty soon, Phil was gaining the students attention, causing him to turn back to the front. He didn't entirely like what was being said about exploiting weaknesses but at least he was outright about it. And then like Wren had asked he was waiting for the real punch line. "Er, that doesn't sound promising," he commented quietly. "We're pretty much an even pair right?" He asked Adrienne, though his focus shifted so intensely she could have crept away by that time. He just wanted to delude hope and be paired with someone he could have at least half trust. "Any questions?" Matt looked around. He personally had none for the moment but there were always those productive ones that he didn't think of until they were brought up.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Alex initially ignored him. She didn't care for showing up to class today she wasn't I the mood and she could simply use Bruce to her advantage this time. "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you." Alex tossed in her bed. "Fuck."

"The one time a month I actually get sleep in and this fucking school is making me show up to class." Alex mumbled as she pushed herself out of bed. Her bed was hardly ever used and went back in it's little hiding compartment once she was out. Her penthouse had a very futuristic feel to it with hand scanners to deploy the hidden features of the room, her own lab, and a complete weapons arsenal that was enough to make Deadpool wet. She put her hand on one of the panels and a door slid open. She slipped into her closet and changed before popping back out and taking her pick on weapons for today.

Alex went into her weapons room next to decide what toys she wanted for the day. She grabbed her favorite Colt 1911 and strapped it to the left side of her hip and also grabbed the tiny but still deadly Colt Mustang. Her 1911 held actual bullets in it while she used the Mustang as another way to concentrate her starbolts through. The amount of blades she grabbed next were too many to count and she finished it off with a few little bombs and gadgets of hers.

Now that she was loaded up, it was time to head to class.

Alex must've had terrible timing because once she was in the elevator... He was there. Alex stared forward and did her best to ignore him. "Well, well, well... What do we have hear." Alex attempted to try and listen to anything else but him but it didn't work. She just needed to keep her cool for long enough. Though that was unlikely. And of course, he continued to antagonize her. "You're dressed a lot like your father today. Is it a special occasion? His birthday, perhaps? Do tell so I can run a little message along to him." He began to laugh and Alex clenched her fists as he continued. "Though I'm not sure he's in any position to be receiving messages." He pointed at the ring around her neck that belonged to Jason.

That was it. Alex wasn't going to take the high road.

Alex spun around and landed a fist square onto his nose. Junior flew to the back of the elevator laughing with a very much broken and bloody nose. "Tsk tsk, Alex. What would Bruce think?" The elevator stopped at their floor and Alex grabbed him by his green shirt before tossing him out onto the floor and then hitting him with another Tamaranean punch. All Junior did was laugh.

Alex picked him up again and punch him scared in the Jaw. She made sure it was hard enough to make him slam against the classroom doors. Alex then tackled him they both came crashing through the door. Junior was actually fighting back at this point for the sake of getting out. He landed a few good hits on Alex but he looked much worse than her. Alex punched him again and then lifted him up with her Mustang up under his chin and it began to glow green. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blast your head off right now."

"I can give you three." It was Coulson. "One, you'll go to Arkham Prison... Again. Two, you get to deal with the Wrath of Bruce. And three, no dance for you." Alex let go of Junior only because of the threat for going to prison. The others didn't phase her.

Alfred came in front of her with a bin. "You're weapons, Master Todd." Alex was reluctant to give up her babies but she did eventually comply. She put her two guns in first before taking off her blaster. Now it was time to grab her knives. She took out one that was tied around her neck and under her shirt, another small one hidden in her sleeve, the throwing stars in her inside jacket pocket, the one strapped horizontally on the back of her belt, another in her pocket, and two in her boots. Alfred shook the bin. "Everything." Alex sighed and grabbed the bombs she hid in her jacket and the other gadgets she was hoping to test today. "You will also have to change shows, Miss." Of course Alfred would know she had hidden blades that popped out in her boots.

Alex took off her boots and tossed them into the bin when she caught sight of a pair of sneakers. She put them on and they were exactly her sixe. He came prepared. Alex thought before she moved over to her group of friends. It felt weird having eyes on her thanks to the entrance she made but she just ignored them. She saw Jai and Magni still standing up like they too were ready to throw down. Alex folded her arms. "The fuck are you guys staring at? Get your dumb asses in those chairs before I decide to make you both look worse than Junior." It was clear Alex was not in a good mood and nor did she feel like with any retaliation from anyone. She was one wrong step away from blasting someone's head off. The only one safe would be Wren who now sat on her right while Jai was seated to her left. Wren was one of the very select few safe from her wrath.

Alex looked back to see Junior taking his bloody self next to his boyfriend, Enzo, with a huge smirk spread across his face. He began to whisper something into his ear but Alex decided not to listen in. It was probably perverted and something she really didn't want to hear. Instead she tried to focus on class and not get kicked out this time.

"I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." As Matt looped his arm over "Casper's" shoulders, Adrienne forcefully suppressed a smirk. Instead, her brows rose in a faux solicitous expression, "In that case, perhaps I should leave you two to your liaison and find someone else to vex." She pointedly looked about the room, seemingly searching for someone else to join.

Matt's pitiful persona melted into a wily grin as he looked at her, "How have you been today, anyway?"

Adrienne opened her mouth to shun Matt for his unoriginal choice of conversation starter, when the doors swept open once more, and a bloodied pair stumbled into the room. Honestly, the activities hadn't even starting and already someone was sporting a bloody lip and a black eye. Adrienne curiously watched as the pair lumbered to the respective seats, before commenting over her shoulder, "Better than them, from the looks of things."

"Alright then," Phil Coulson wasn't a particularly large man, and yet his voice seemed overwhelm every other mutter, murmur, and remark in the room. Adrienne swiveled around, turning her attention from Matt as the agent began his rundown of whatever exercise they were about to participate in.

"As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are." Hmph, what weaknesses? Adrienne's eyes narrowed slightly, the idea of possessing any sort of flaws an unwelcome one.

"So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." Of course, Adrienne had never seen the film Sky High, so when Wren called out as to make her daily interruption -and there certainly was a quota that Wren was inclined to make- Adrienne's face was blank.

"In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian. Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses. You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Although her face remained serene, mentally, Adrienne was grimacing. So they're pairing us up with the people we don't work well with? Where's the logic in that? Good grief, and I'm bound to get stuck with some complete dunderhead... "...And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night. Any questions?" Adrienne stiffled a scoff, Miss the dance? God forbid.

"Er, that doesn't sound promising. We're pretty much an even pair right?" Adrienne looked at him, one brow raised, and lips curved into a teasing smirk. "'Even'? Please. I'd kick your ass." A rare smile flickered across her face, exposing the joking manner of her comment.

Well, she was mostly joking.

"I'm not pretending to be anyone of the sort. I'm definitely not that important to the evolution of the human race. And neither are you Nigma, although you are simply the definition of a narcissist, following your fathers footsteps, I suppose, he would've been real proud, huh?" Enzo chuckled more to himself than Aiden. The male's attempt at looking threatening was do anything but making him feel threatened. "I never once claimed to be important to human evolution. I couldn't care less about the evolution of the Human race because it pays no significance in my life time." When Aiden mentioned him being a narcissist, Enzo simply grinned while bouncing his crossed foot. "Yes, yes I am. But I like me... Better a narcissist than insecure." Enzo then removed his feet from the desk, resting his elbows upon his knees as he leaned in closer towards Frosty. "But here's the difference between you and I Drake. I may have an ego. I may be a dick, asshole... Take your pick. But, at least I have the decency not to go out of my way to piss someone off. At least I am polite."

With that being said, Enzo leaned back in his chair, crossing his right leg over his left. Hearing Aiden's chuckle caused him to clench his jaw as he spoke, "You could just move, or is that just a little bit too easy for you?" The comment pinched a nerve, causing him to cock his head towards the Drake twin. "Excuse me?" Enzo's patience was running thin, "I do believe that I was the one to sit here first. You had all of the other desks in the room to choose from," He motioned his hand towards the rest of the room, "But you being the little prick you are had to come sit by me. So if anyone should move, that'd be you." He paused in the middle of his rant as he saw Lilith spin a chair around to have a seat facing him. Enzo shot the blonde a strained half smile, hard to seem pleased to see her when he was heated. "But that would be expecting too much from you. That means you'd have to be a decent person."

If Lilith wouldn't have shown up when she did, there would have been a good possibility for punches being thrown. Enzo didn't need his cane to beat the shit out of someone, especially Drake. His formal attire a visage only masking his physique. With a frustrated sigh, he removed his green bolder hat before slicking back his hair. "Good afternoon Lilith," He smiled towards her, "Apologies for... that." Enzo motioned his hand in a dismissive manner towards Aiden. "Break any hearts today?" He found the girl's powers particularly interesting. Femme fatale. He usually wasn't a huge fan of the all the all-powerful people at this academy, but Lilith was an exception.

After a moment or 2, Coulson began his spiel about their training exercise. Fantastic. I'm going to have to work with someone I probably can't stand. How in the hell are we supposed to work together!!? His attention was quickly brought to the entrance when Alex and Junior came rolling into the room, brawling per usual. In more common relationships, most would probably flip their lid seeing the person they care about in a fight. For Enzo, he just wished he had popcorn to enjoy the show. He raised a brow as he watched Junior come over to sit beside him with a grin. He nonchalantly reached into his pocket, pulling out a handkerchief, holding it out towards him. "You have a little something..." Enzo teasingly pointed to his entire face while smirking.

Phil was obviously not pleased by the bursting in of Alex and Junior, accompanied with the tardiness of Charlie. When Alex made a comment towards Magni and Jai, Phil sighed. "Why not everyone sit down and shut up. His attention was then drawn to Charlie, "So, Mr. Coulson, what'd I miss?" Phil crossed his arms in front of his chest, "Enough to where I don't feel like repeating it because you don't know how to be on time."

Then Ethan's hand shot up with the first question, "Wait, there was a dance happening on Saturday night?" Phil nodded his head before responding. "Yes. Today is what? Thursday?" He glanced over at Alfred who gave him a agreeing nod. "So, yes in 2 days there is the Anniversary Dance celebrating 5 years since the creation of Descendant Academy." He sighed, "It seems it is apparent many of you don't actually listen to J.A.R.V.I.S's announcements... Wonderful."

After the continuous firing of questions from Ethan, he finally asked his last question, "Can I have a reservation of my brother as a partner?" Just as Phil was about to answer, the other Drake twin practically flew out of his chair, "Oh, hell no! I mean... No thank you, Mr. Coulson... Sorry." Once Aiden was done, Coulson spoke up, "No one can request, decline, reserve or choose their partners. The only element you all get to decide is if and how you will save the civilian once in your given arena. Everything else is up to our discretion." He motioned to himself and Alfred.

"Well now that that is all taken care of... Your pairings." Phil walked back around the desk, flipping open the file folder that rested on top of the wooden surface. After a minute of fingering through papers, he grabbed a single page with an "Ah ha!" He moved back around towards the front of the desk, leaning back against it. "Well seeing as to how we are missing a few students there will be slight modifications to the pairings... And there will be one group of 3 instead of 2. I'll say the names of each group, and the floor number you will report to. Each floor has been configured to the arena designed for your particular group. The simulation won't start until you all are in the rooms with the doors shut. Until that point each area will look like a simple concrete room."

Phil could tell the students were slightly impatient to know who they were partnered with. But before that, Coulson wanted to leave them waiting a bit more. "Just a reminder... You all have only 5 minutes to save your civilian. And that can be a completely different task depending on the arena. It can vary between saving them, freeing them, protecting them or just reaching them. If your civilian dies, then you fail. Although they are just dummies, a shot through the head or falling into a pit of fire will kill them." He holds up his index finger, "If you die it will also result in a failure." Phil then proceeded to answer the question before it was asked, "And yes it is more than possible for you to die in there."

Mr. Coulson then proceeded to name off the pairings and floor numbers from his document.

OOC: Phil is only telling everyone their partners and floors. The arena descriptions is just for you all to know what it will be like when their simulations start in case you need to plan out what is going to happen in PMs or if you need to ask me any questions :)

Beneath the cage the ground separates to reveal a large fire pit with flames reaching nearly 20ft high. Certain tiles on the ground set off booby traps: one sends spikes shooting from the walls, another making the floor slowing begin to retract beyond the walls. The cage will be completely submerged in the flames at 5 minutes time.

Max stayed in his thoughts until Phil started talking. He hardly noticed the commotion between Joker Jr. and Alex. Not that it really mattered to him, he didn't really care too much for either of them. Alex was a bitch, and Jr. was the definition of evil. Max didn't have to wait very long for Phil to reveal his partner considering his name was in the first pairing. "Max and Astrid will be on LL29." Max couldn't help but crack a smile. He had no problem with Astrid. He wasn't sure how they were going to handle a challenge though. He didn't have his suit, and she was without her shield. Max could think fast and fight normal people, but that was nothing special. Astrid was still insanely talented, but neither one had really cool powers on their own. Nothing like Caleb, or Magni, or Olivia. Max was okay with it though. At least he wasn't paired with a gang green member.

He stayed in his seat and heard some pretty interesting pairings. He couldn't help but turn around and smirk at Liz when she was paired with Kain. He knew that would be interesting. He felt bad for Aiden, having to work with Enzo. He chuckled at the pairing of Anansi and Joker Jr. Anansi would love it. Jai seemed excited at drawing Lilith. Who wouldn't be? When Phil finished, Max walked towards the back of the room towards Astrid.

"Let's go Misses Cap." he said with a smile as he held his hand out to help her up. "It's not the world yet, but let's go save a dummy."

ImageCaleb could have laughed with how concerned Astird was of Jai and Magni show down meanwhile Alex and Junior engaged in a fist fight. He didn't hold much favor over one or the other, so he watched with no intention to move. Like most of his acquaintances.

Once all the stir settled over, and everyone got their seats, he heard himself paired with Thena which made him smile. They weren't particularly close with each other but she was a woman that held similar capacity of power to Caleb so whatever they did would be an exciting tale to tell afterwards, he was sure. So he was happy, especially compared to some of the other pairings. He knew he had it good.

Caleb stood up where his eyes traveled to Thena prepared as he was ever going to be. β€œI hope you don’t mind being stuck with me for five or so minutes.” He headed to the elevators assuming Thena would be in step. If not then it wouldn't have made a difference anyway. Nothing could begin without the other.

ImageHe shot Elizabeth a look from the corner of his eyes and smirked. The girl who had refused him a pen so coldly, even if she had it, was his partner. "Phil, please tell me your not serious. Please don't make me work with him." It was unfortunate for him but more unfortunate for her thus resulting in his pleasure. She and him both probably preferred it to be a versus match though.

She left the room, not waiting up on somebody as vital as her partner. Then any smug traces dropped from his face and he glared at the pair of Phil and Alfred. Obviously arguing was useless and they had no regard for who killed whose mother or father or severely injured them. But it was fine. He'd work in the same room with Elizabeth there, but he would not work with the girl.
He stood up, taking his time in stretching out his muscles then made his way to the elevator. When he saw Elizabeth waiting by them, he smiled and shook his head. "You didn't get far." He pointed to the elevator. "Wanna catch a lift together?" He grinned and slipped in once the doors opened and was incredibly tempted to push her out before the doors slid shut and ascended. But the sooner he got the task done and passed, the sooner he could return to tormenting her, freeish of charge. They only needed to survive each other.

ImageMatthew's attention shifted to Alex and the Joker in a fight, and Alex was relentless. But he still had half a mind to intervene. He wasn't one for brutality, meanwhile everyone else took the scene rather well. "Better than them, from the looks of things." Matt nodded in agreement with Adrienne, though it weren't much of a benchmark.

"'Even'? Please. I'd kick your ass." Was her next aloud remark. He smiled and shook his head not bothering much with the inevitable debate of powers verse no powers, who came on top discussion. Because powers did have the upper hand, much to his dislike.

In time, the pairs were announced. And he so badly wanted to hear his name next to other's wrong. Matthew groaned over Tommy's complaints in the background. Something about a boy scout and comparison to clowns and circus'. Wasn't like he was exactly thrilled with the pickings either. When Tommy revealed his hidden knife and threw it at the wall, he turned to Adrienne. "Switch," he proposed simply. Matt wasn't the type to fall for intimidation but the guy had a lot of issues and was a clear psycho, no different from the majority of the green gang. He'd prefer Olivia or even Lilith.

Jai seemed ecstatic about hearing his partner for the second time around and the girl had infatuation ability about her, but Matthew was convinced if you didn't wear green, you weren't safe from her.

He sighed out and moved swiftly to the front of the room. "Alfred, that guy is a psycho! There is no way..."
Matthew was cut off by a simple hand to stop talking then a gesturing wave out the room. He followed the prompt silently.

Matt was a little antsy about being paired with someone that had stashed a knife on his being throughout class and who he wasn't on great terms with.

He entered the room and waited for...whatever. Catman to ambush him probably.

If you die in there Anansi, I’ll rip him apart in ways even he can’t find funny. Liz swore mentally though their connection, though her eyes were fixed on the clown. The reassurance had been for Anansi’s benefit, but she made sure Jr. could hear it too. Liz was not as inherently hostile toward their resident joker as Anansi. The two had a grudging respect for the other’s capabilities, and while Liz would never call him a friend, there was a kind of secret appeal to sparing with someone no holds. Occasionally, their little game could even be entertaining, but if even one trigger happy finger was directed threateningly toward Anansi, Liz had no qualms practicing her telekinesis on Jr. Contorting him into a human pretzel was an art he might even appreciate.

As her companions began to move off toward their own partners, Liz directed her attention to her own unfortunate match up. There certainly were weaker or more volatile partners she might have been matched with, but Adrienne Strange had a way of getting under her skin. For some people, it would never matter that Liz craved the feeling of quiet in her own mind that most sane people took for granted, and it certainly didn’t matter that Liz almost never had the motivation or desire to dig through someone’s head past the surface thoughts she could never fully drown out. To them, the mere fact that she could do it was enough to make them cringe away from her, and it was a feeling she loathed. People with secrets, or even just an intense sense of privacy, would always resent her for something she hadn’t done or couldn’t control.

Even in those years she’d spent at her lowest, a mere shadow of herself within her own home, guarded eyes had followed her steps. And Scott Summers had so many secrets. His affair with Emma was one, shameful and partially known, except just how long it had gone on. Then there was the hypocritical resentment he felt toward Jean for the affair she’d had with Logan. Jean knew of course, at least partially, but then her shield were so much better than that of the younger budding telepath in his house, and mind reading was bad for a marriage. Whether purposely overlooked, or willfully ignored, the sheer depth of his bitterness was a subject locked tightly away. But of all those secrets, the one Scott Summers had always been the most afraid Liz would uncover, the one he knew Jean would never forgive him for, was that he wished she had died. Liz had been conceived, carried to term, and born while Jean was in the Phoenix state. No one had known if a human baby could even survive through that process, and Scott Summers had hoped, prayed even, that she wouldn’t. A part of him had always known, even then, that he wasn’t the forgiving type. Living with a constant reminder what Jean had done would make doing so impossible, but Scott couldn’t live without Jean. Liz always found it ironic that the only reason she knew any of that, was because he spent so much time worrying she’d see it within his mind in the first place.

I’ll meet you on our floor. Liz spoke in Adrienne’s mind as she headed for the door. The threat of being banned from the dance didn’t really faze Liz, but Anansi would want to go, date or not, and wouldn’t like it if all her friends weren’t there. Because of that, she wanted this exercise to go off without a hitch. And try not to cringe. We don’t know what we’ll be facing in there. Telepathic communication may be a vital advantage.

As far as graceful recoveries were concerned, Cree had managed better. Clinging to a chair like some chick with aviophobia before practically leaping away in front of a boy whose freckles she’d spent a bit too much time fantasizing about, only served to magnify her embarrassment. Ethan’s friendly concern was sweet, but didn’t do much to disguise the reddening of her cheeks, especially since it clashed with her hair.

He got up from his chair as she hit the floor, he moved over to her, clearing over-reacting about the current situation, "Are you alright, Cree?"

”Me? Yeah, fine, downright peachy! Utterly unbothered by…spontaneous lack of gravity…so cool…” Cree trailed off, eyes locking with Ethan’s. Would he be offended if I told him he had puppy dog eyes? That’s usually a compliment right? They’re all cute and brown and totally innocent looking. Honestly, who hates dogs, it’s totally a compliment!

Cree was luckily spared from uttering said compliment as Coulson detailed what their assignment was going to be for the day. Save the civilian was hardly an original training premise, but it was a classic. What really got her attention though, was Coulson’s banning of even her most basic tech, which meant she was going in totally blind. It was a situation she hardly found fair, and she pouted all the way through stripping off her gauntlets and taking out her contacts. At the mention of a dance however, Cree perked up, eyes straying to the closest Drake twin in his very casual duds. It was a pleasant thought for after class though, as the groups were announced and the crowd began to thin. Cree waved bye to Ethan and wished Max good luck, especially as they found themselves in roughly the same boat, before moving toward her teammates. As a rare group of three, there was a tactical advantage the Cree intended to capitalize on. Part of her wondered though, if that meant their course would be more challenging than average. Cree supposed they’d soon find out.

β€œInteresting match up here huh? You guys are both mutants, so that’s a plus. For sure, that’ll be good for any heavy lifting if there’s a combat element involved. I’ve been effectively neutered on that end, but I’m guessing if they threw me in the mix there’s likely to be some kind of tech based component. Any thoughts?” Cree asked immediately as she approached her teammates.

"Switch." To be quite frank, to accept such an offer would have been one of Adrienne's more cheerfully conducted exertions. As she read the name of her partner-to-be, her mood turn sour immediately, and a small segment of her mind flared with a grudging amusement. Quite a sense of humor you have, Coulson. Her comment was mental, and yet the tone managed to be bitter, and it was only afterwards that she remembered that such thoughts were free to view, thanks to a certain mutant's powers.
Her partner's powers.
I’ll meet you on our floor. Adrienne flinched, the words appearing in her mind out of nowhere, the voice attached to them one she'd rather not her. And try not to cringe. We don’t know what we’ll be facing in there. Telepathic communication may be a vital advantage.
Adrienne scoffed churlishly, Perhaps. But until we find out, stay out.
She wasn't certain that Elizabeth had heard her, but she didn't doubt it much. Elizabeth had a nasty knack for hearing things.

With a morose sigh, Adrienne turned to the door, and made her way to the elevator. Her narrow finger pressed down on the button, and as the light above the door ticked down to her floor, her eyes fell upon a fist-shaped dent in the metal. Magni. Moron. The elevator doors slid open, and Adrienne stepped in, the dent in the wall stretching and smoothing straight as she passed it by.

Approaching Elizabeth, her steps were strong and sharp, feet colliding with the floor in harsh taps. It didn't take a mind reader to know that neither were happy to be there. And yet, much to Adrienne's chagrin, they had one.

"Let's get this over and done with." Adrienne glanced at her partner only briefly, before opening the door and stepping into the chamber.

It really is a surreal feeling, that of being suspended in the air, weightless. Adrienne had experienced the sensation more than once during the many grueling exercises that she and her fellow classmates had been put through, but never less felt a small pulse of pleasure as her feet left the ground, and she began to twirl languidly through the air. The feeling came to an abrupt halt as she felt her body being steadied and straightened. In any other case, Adrienne wouldn't mind, but in her opinion, any action her so-called 'partner' committed became infinitely more irritating, whether it was necessary or not.

"The civilian must be in there. There isn’t anywhere else in the room they could be kept." Adrienne looked towards the silvery sphere, and scoffed, replying in a low voice that did more than skirt on sarcasm. "You don't say." Deep down, she was perfectly aware that she needed to get along with Elizabeth, but she couldn't help it. Whenever the girl entered her mind, her thoughts were riddled with bitter undertones. Adrienne was not a talker. She was a private soul, one that preferred to be left to her own thoughts. But around Elizabeth, they weren't her own thoughts. They were just another book in the mind-reader's library, free to read.

As Elizabeth moved them towards the orb, Adrienne's interest piqued, and suddenly she was engrossed. She reached out a hand, fingers straying across the vibranium. Within most metals, one would often see a slight imperfection, a crease or a bump or a mar. But this creation was seamless and smooth. It shimmered flawlessly in the fluorescent lighting. It was beautiful.

"That…is a problem. Have you ever used your magic on vibranium before?" Adrienne didn't look up, as she was too busy studying the metal. She'd been pining for at least a small piece for years, but its rarity had ensured that it was near-impossible to get ahold of. Perhaps Coulson would allow her a segment after the trial? She'd certainly pressed the query enough in the past.

A smirk tugged at her lips, and she finally replied, albeit still with her eyes on the metal, and her voice slightly distant. "I've been wanting to."

Her hands became firm, placed on the vibranium, fingers splayed, and her brows knotted in concentration. She remembered the actual mission in afterthought, her mind focused on testing her own abilities against the legendary metal. "Can you place a telekinetic shield around the civilian?"

Liz wasn’t blind to her partner’s subtle insult as they examined their civilian’s prison, but she said nothing. Instead, she elevated them up slightly to a higher vantage point, overlooking the sphere. Keeping bother herself and her partner steady while simultaneously projecting a shield around the civilian and potentially themselves if any energy reflected back their way, would take a tremendous amount of focus. Maintaining that focus for long, would be no small feat, but it was doable. At least Liz hoped anyway.

β€œWe’re about to find out.” Liz replied cryptically, as she began to form the shield around the civilian. It was more difficult to do so without a visual of the civilian itself, or even a mind to reach out to in order to anchor herself. She tried to visualize the training dummies they’d used in other simulations, riddled with scorch marks, bullet wounds, and all manner of other sign of the day to day wear and tear one could only find in a school like theirs. Her mind’s eye latched upon the imagery, creating a human shaped bubble around the dummy while trying not to touch the sphere itself.

β€œIt’s secured.” Liz intoned absently to her partner, careful not to break her concentration. Waves of power seemed to roll off her in that moment, Liz’s eyes flashing an eerie gold. Liz could feel the magic rolling off her Adrienne as well, excitement and anticipation disturbing her normally cool and collected aura. Liz didn’t pretend to know anything about magic, but she hoped that emotion would aid her partner’s powers and not conflict with it. They were working with a number of uncertainties with this plan, ranging from Adrienne’s inexperience manipulating Vibranium, to Liz’s own volatility and unpredictable limitations with her own powers. Liz just hoped that if this went sideways, she would have the focus to insulate them from any rebounding concussive blasts. There was a reason vibranium was so dangerous to work with.

Wren, more than anyone, was happy to be finished with that damn simulation. After all, the stakes of the dance were resting on her passing that stupid test and she nearly died from it. Totally not cool, and this asshat thought it was funny to write me up almost dying. Figures. Safe to say that she was in need of some serious party therapy.

"J.A.R.V.I.S.!!!" She shouted up at the ceiling as she walked through the halls of the giant building. "Yes Ms. Wilson" "I do believe it is announcement time my fine robotic fellow." She smirked. J.A.R.V.I.S. seemed to hesitate before responding, "Ms. Wilson might I just inform everyone per protocol?" Wren held up her index finger in argument. "You promised!" If robots and A.I.s could give sass, you better believe he did before his voice came in over the P.A. system throughout the building. "Good evening. Ms. Wilson would like me to inform you asshats that she is throwing a killer party in her penthouse. She'd like me to also say that you should 'be there or be square' and that it will be a party that only boring twats won't join..." He groaned, if that's even possible. "Thank you."

Wren was practically rolling on the ground as J.A.R.V.I.S. read the prescripted announcement she gave him. She probably had Phil and Alfred gunning for her but she didn't care. Because she also got J.A.R.V.I.S. to act as bouncer to her party and no one can enter without a mandatory tequila shot. Take that superiors! Now that that was taken care of, she had to round up her posse, so she made her way to the Infirmary.

It only took Wren a few minutes to reach the appropriate floor. She then whipped out her phone and started blasting that one song from Risky business that no one ever knows the name of, they just remember Tom Cruise half naked dancing. Once it was playing, she tucked her phone in her bra and prepared herself. When the timing was right she slid to a stop at the center of the entrance leading to the room Alex and Jai were held up in. "This is for you shitheads..." She pointed to them both before putting on her sunglasses and dancing to the song.

When the song came to an end, she threw her shades and made a pose. "I know, I know... Don't swoon because I won't catch you." Once Wren was done being full of herself, she shoved either one of them on the shoulders. "Come on bitches we have a party to get to... Mine!"

Boxers and lingering sand

Enzo was over everything. The incompetence of his partner left his angrier then when he started... And more naked. If Aiden had the balls to cross his path in the next century, he'd lose some important appendage in the blink of an eye. He stood in the hall outside his arena, trying to dust a majority of the lingering sand from his fit frame when he heard J.A.R.V.I.S.'s announcement. "Good evening. Ms. Wilson would like me to inform you asshats that she is throwing a killer party in her penthouse. She'd like me to also say that you should 'be there or be square' and that it will be a party that only boring twats won't join... Thank you."

He shook his head while chuckling to himself. Enzo couldn't help but wonder what Wren had to do to get J.A.R.V.I.S. to agree to saying that over the intercom. He figured he nothing better to do, and alcohol and partying seemed like a fine way to end a day like the one he just had. So he made his way to towards the elevator trying to decide if he should round up Junior or just go to his room. As he stood there waiting for the slowest machine in this damn building, he shook the sand from his hair. "God it's going to take 5 showers to get this shit off." He mumbled to himself.
