Astrid wears clothing that's considered neat and always tries to look presentable, though she takes a liking towards leather. But really, anything that fits her goes, as long as it's weather appropriate if she has bothered to check the forecast.
She wears a small sapphire ring on her middle finger that her father gave her, feeling as though he must spoil her with at least one feminine gift in compensation for the path he has led her on. He also wants her to wear it to remember him. And so she does proudly. Though to her, the gift was not necessary.
Unless on a mission, she does not wear the outfit.
The Shield: More precious yet. She hasn't mastered the usage but it is left to her heritage. May change if sibling occurs.

|{Overall Appearance}|
Her father is undeniably a gorgeous old soul and this has been somewhat inherited. She's certainly a young woman in a dignified soul that's easy on the eyes with his blues. Instead of a buff build however, she beholds more of a slim/ toned athletic one and a paler skin complexion.

โœฎLoyal โœฎProtective โœฎCompetitive โœฎExtrovert โœฎAdaptable
Astrid feels she has enormous expectations on her shoulders. The captain was a great hero who never quit, put himself before others, had amazing leadership skills, morals and fighting talents and respect. Meanwhile, she is at risk of selfish tendencies, not as level headed and more lenient on others. The Captain cares a great deal for discipline and justice. And she just wants to make herself and him proud. She wants to live up to his name. It's her ultimate objective. As a result, she can be very self critical and harsh on herself. Yet, she carries herself with confidence, shielding away her own critique to let it remain her own. Others opinions, unless praise, are unwelcomed on her talents. She must remind herself perfection is the only impossible and she is only human.

Despite that, Astrid's an internal optimist. She's persistent for her outcomes in a battle and operates heavily by "it's not over, until it's over." Likewise, she prefers to see the good in others and wants to believe in an ideal team formation, but thank her groundedness, she knows its only reachable in dreamland and not everyone is worthy of her trust and unity. So there lies a long way to Astrid's trust. However, it doesn't stop her from appearing the outgoing individual, socializing with everyone and applying herself to challenges. She wants to reinforce just whose daughter she is and how capable she is. Within that process comes a very business orientated woman, adapting to individuals strengths and weaknesses, but below the surface is a girl who likes the light-heart and fun. She just seeks a break from the weight of war.

|{Habits}
|
โ˜…Old Fashioned: It could either be a phrase or wording or a strong belief in chivalry. But it slips out from time to time.

|{Likes}|
+Dogs: "Who doesn't?" Man's greatest friend that prove extremely loyal and reliable.
+Attractiveness: "More in terms of personality." She loves the people that can attract light in darkness. Whether its in eccentricity or perkiness. Mainly the people that know how to balance a good time with business.
+Beach: "The sun and sound of crashing waves. Aaahh." There is something soothing in waves crashing on shore. And something physically challenging in fighting the tide, making for a good means of training.

|{Dislikes}|
-Relying on Technology: "Sorry Stark. I mean it's amazing! But it's not always there..." She uses it, and taught her dad more on it but it is corruptible. She wouldn't bet anyone's life on technology.
-Notification/Verification: "Confirmation! I mean confirmation!" When there's a mass move she'd at least like to be included and have some say in the approach. If it goes under her radar, she gets incredibly mad.
-Disregard/Disrespect: "So long as you take me seriously enough." Who likes to be ignored or looked down on? Astrid may have a few comparison issues but she is still worthy.
-Sexism: "And of course there has to be that one let down that the Captain didn't have a son." For some reason, a simple comment or the disappointment that washes over citizens when they realize her gender, strikes the wrong cord with her. Underestimating her has the same effect.

|{Hobbies}|
โ˜…Dancing: "More of the classy kind as opposed to the bump and grind business." The only reason it's not considered a like is because she loves dancing and recalling on waltzing around with the elegance of her father.

|{Fears}|
-Infusions/Needles: "It may be more so the people that do the process." Different substances do different things and they can be powerful for better or for worse. As well as the injector debriefing on the effects.
-Heights: "Unlike some of you, I can't defy gravity." Plummeting to her death or severe injury is something she could do without.

โœฆTrait Deprived/Trust Meaning, she wants to be a good and honorable soldier. It's exactly how her father raised her, but fellow peers don't play by rules and she's smarter than to believe in fair play. This also leads to trouble trusting people as much as she'd like to.
โœฆHuman Beneath all the super soldier armor, she is in fact human. Meaning killable, tortureable, etc.
โœฆShield Usage She's talented with it in close combat, however to rate her a master is inaccurate. Unlike her father she does not have ultimate control over aerodynamics. Yet.

Image |{Relationship with Father}|
Steve brought Astrid up with the highest of morals when she was of age. Until that time, he was at the least, an excellent father, always there for her and willing to play. He was never the kind to promote barbies to her, but instead, dancing in the living room, playing tag or hide and seek, that she can now see as prior soldier games.
He never meant to deprive her of normality. He wanted her to be a daughter and enjoy being a girl, but they did start training at a young age to assure she could protect herself as a woman that would jump to villains and convicts most wanted list. And more importantly, to prevent being used as a weakness against her father. When that reality hit, she prioritized training to not only look after herself but citizens of the world. And slowly a girl developed into a strategic soldier.

|{History}|
Astrid never felt robbed of her childhood, so Steve was never as in debt as he made out to be. To her, her path came naturally. It filled her with a sense of purpose, accomplishment and pride. Pretty quickly, the introduction of the academy popped up. Steve was informed by Stark of the great creation in which he exchanged a worrisome glance to Astrid. "You don't have to go if you don't want." All the while Stark's gaze was trained on her and gesturing out the door. Astrid confirmed she would go and represent the first avenger who was still alive and kicking. And find new sources of motivation and new training techniques.

Though taught to accept the littler things in life, she can't help but appreciate all the room and comfort her own penthouse provides. A fine large lounge space that stretches to a dining area, that holds an outlook of what feels like the world. Two tvs, one appointed to each area usually showing news or comedy.

Then, buried in the west, is her bedroom. Large, delicate and simple.

Her penthouse is always kept in tidy condition.

So begins...

The Descendant Academy

Descendant Academy. School for the lucky few who are the offspring of the worlds leading heroes, superheroes, villains and vigilantes. Unlike any other schools, even Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. Here they are raised, trained, educated and prepared for what the world has in store. Some preparing to take up their parent's places, while others make their own identities. Each student here arriving at different points in their lives. But that's irrelevant.

It's another day just like any other in the Academy. Phil and Alfred take the elevators down to floor L1, making their way to the lecture hall. As they made their way down the long corridor, Phil glances over the paperwork in his hands while speaking, "J.A.R.V.I.S.?" "Yes sir?" He flips over another page in his folder before adding, "Send out the alarm." "Of course sir." After a moment or two J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice rang throughout every room in Descendant Tower, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Phil clears his throat, "J.A.R.V.I.S..." The computer's voice adds in his announcement to the building, "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Alfred made his way around Phil, removing his key from his lapel, sliding it into the deadbolt and unlocking the door. He stood there, holding open the door for Coulson. "Such a late start today?" Phil laughed slightly while walking into the room, turning on the lights. "Well they aren't going to be happy about today's assignment. I figured I'd at least let them sleep in before they decided to hate me for the day," Phil smiled towards Alfred. He then walked up to the desk at the front of the room, setting down his files as Alfred enters after him asking, "May I ask what is on the agenda today?" Phil double checks his papers before replying, "Exercise 23."

Alred glanced over his shoulder at Phil, "I assume I'll be needing the crate?" Coulson chuckled as he took a seat at the front of the room. "I told you they weren't going to like us today Al."

Deadpool suit, top portion hanging on hips, black sports bra & Ray Bans

Wren never did sleep like everyone else did. The last time she remembers actually sleeping she was probably a teen and still adjusting to her strange abilities. But for years her stamina has made it nearly impossible for her to get tired enough to need sleep. So while everyone else usually slept she would wonder around Descendant Tower, read books or find something else to occupy her time. If one of her classmates saw her during that time that'd probably have a heart attack because she usually is silent... Sometimes. Ok well she talks to herself on occasion but that's not her fault she'd mentally unstable.

That evening she spent her solitary time reading Homer's the Iliad. Light reading right? Having as much free time as Wren had she had plenty of time to read books, and she didn't believe in reading the same book twice. She hadn't realized how much time had passed or how engrossed she was in the book until she heard J.A.R.V.I.S.'s announcement. Wren looked over at the clock on her wall, "1 o'clock already? Jesus Homer... Stop being so needy I have places to go." She slid a book mark into the novel, slightly frustrated that she was so close to the end and had to stop. "We will continue later Homes." She sets the book down on the window seat and walks over to the closet that is her bedroom in club of a penthouse.

Wren grabbed her suit that her father gave her from the closet and tossed it onto the bed. It wasn't always her favorite thing to wear but in this place, curve balls were thrown at them when they least expected it, and she'd hate to be caught off guard in jeans. Have you ever tried to kick ass in skinny jeans? Not that easy. But that didn't mean she wouldn't make the suit her own when she wore it. Wren wiggled into her suit, but only wore the pant portion leaving the top half to dangle from her waist like many people wear their overalls, her utility belt holding it up. Deciding to keep it simple she only wore a black sports bra as a top, not really giving a rat's ass what anyone would say. Wren definitely wasn't one to wear the cliche mask unless she went out in public, so she just tucked it away in her belt.

As she made her way towards the elevator, she grabbed her ipod and sunglasses from the table near the doors, then pressed the down button. While waiting Wren put on her Ray Bans, and put in her ear buds, pressing shuffle. The elevator opened as the song Chandelier by Sia begins to blast in her ears. She enters the elevator, pressing L1 before she begins to go down. As she slowly makes her descension, Wren begins to bounce around and dance to the music.

The doors open up to the main hall that leads down the center of floor L1. Once the doors were open completely, she slides out into the corridor like Tom Cruise belting out the lyrics to the song, "I'M GONNA SWINGGGGGG FROM THE CHANDELIERRRR!!!! FROM THE CHANDELIERRRRRR!!" Wren bobs her head, twirling and strutting down the long hallway not caring who sees her. "Help me, I'm holding on for dear life. Won't look down, won't open my eyes. Keep my glass full until morning light, 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight, On for tonight, On for tonigh-" Just as she reaches Alfred who's standing outside the classroom, she freezes mid-step, mid-song and mid-dance when she sees the crate sitting on the ground before him.

Wren pulls her earbuds out, "Al... please tell me you're just pulling a prank on me?" Alfred sent an apologetic smile towards her as he outstretches his right hand towards her. "I'm afraid not Miss Wilson... All weapons please." She rolled her eyes, scoffing slightly as she grabs the pair of pistols from her thigh holsters, setting it in Al's hand. He set the gun in the crate, then looked back towards her. "What!?" Al cleared his throat, motioning for her to hand over more. "Oh for fucks sake!" She reaches behind her back grabbing the pistol that was tucked into the back of her pants, setting it in his hand. She then bends over pulling 2 bowie knives that were tucked into her boots. Wren then holds out her hands before rotating in a circle so he can look her over. "Did I pass the inspection?" Al managed a soft chuckle before extending his hand once more, "Phone too miss." She growled, squinting her eyes as she set her phone in his palm. "You're lucky I like you pops."

Now that she was completely stripped of every comfort she had on her other than her clothing, Wren made her way into the classroom. She didn't hesitate to walk right up to the front row center, spinning a chair around so she could sit on it backwards, straddling the back. "You know, if we wanted to kill each other we would've already."

Black slacks, spats, black silk shirt with green question mark pattern, green suspenders & green bolder hat

Enzo, unlike most of his classmates, had his shit together for lack of a better term. He knew when class was before the bogus announcement from J.A.R.V.I.S. He was sure at that moment many of them would be stumbling out of bed and rushing to get ready and get to class in time. The thought made him chuckle as he finished shaving his face, then rinsed his face with water from the sink. Enzo looked back up at his reflection as his ran his wet hands back through his hair, slicking it back as he walked back out to his bedroom. Making his way over to his bed, he pushed his suspenders off of his shirtless torso letting them to fall to a rest on either side of his legs. He grabbed the black silk shirt covered with the green question marks, slipping his arms into the sleeves before he began to button it.

Enzo always enjoyed playing with the stereotype his father started behind the Riddler persona, taking pride in dressing similarly to how his dad used to. He always dressed in formal wear so it wasn't much different except everything he owned was either green, black or purple and almost always had a question mark on it somewhere. After all, he is the Riddler right? When his shirt was buttoned, he tucked it into his slacks, then tugged his suspenders back up. Tucking his cane under his left arm, he made his way towards the elevator. Enzo pressed the down button before reaching over and grabbing the green bolder hat that hung on the coat rack. And for his own amusement he flipped it up in the air, catching it perfectly atop his head just before the doors opened.

Patiently, Enzo road the elevator down the many floors towards level L1, resting his hands on his cane that he had standing before him. As the doors slid open he slowly made his way down the long corridor. The only sound to be heard was the clicking of his dress shoes on the tile and the tapping of the cane's base in sync with his stride. Upon reaching the class room he saw Al waiting. Enzo raised a suggestive brow before rolling his eyes. He didn't need to wait until Al extended his hand towards him to know what he wanted. Reluctantly, he held out his golden question mark cane. "Not a scratch Al."

After forfeiting his weapon Enzo entered the classroom, seeing the rather enthusiastic Wren sitting up front, seemingly bothering Phil. No doubt she was complaining about the restrictions to firearms and weapons in the classroom that day. Luckily for him, she was too preoccupied to notice his entrance and he'd rather keep it that way. So as quietly as he could, he slipped into a chair towards the back of the room. He then leaned back in his chair, crossing his feet and entangling his fingers in his lap patiently.

Nathaniel had woken up way before sunrise after a nice power nap on his bench press followed by a combination of a protein shake and coffee. He was in the middle of doing pulls when he heard J.A.R.V.I.S over his music. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Nathaniel lowered himself from the bar and looked over at the clock. He hadn't even realized how much had passed. He figured Junior or Enzo would have busted through his door by now to have him compete in some tedious task that involved getting into a fight with someone who insulted their egos and then taking the fall. Nathaniel spent a lot of time in Bruce and Tony Stark's offices but never said a word. He would just sit there and wait for his punishment to be announced.

Once his feet hit the mats laid on his floor, Nathaniel looked down at his sweats and realized he was dripping wet from working out. He quickly popped himself in the shower for not even a minute to wash off and not completely wreak before grabbing some new clothes and putting on deodorant and cologne. Just because he dressed casual, didn't mean he needed to cheap out on cologne. He only wore the nicest and most expensive brands since he has a weird obsession with the way he smells and actually gets a bit self conscious about it. Nathaniel was nearly out the door when he realized he still had his glasses on. He quickly went back to his bathroom and replaced them for contacts. He'd rather not have to deal with a physical assignment today while having to worry about adjusting his glasses.

Nathaniel was finally able to go out his door and walk quickly down the hall and down the elevator to floor L1. The doors slid open and Nathaniel was soon greeted by Alfred. His eyes quickly scanned over the surroundings and he took note of the box that contain far too many guns that must belong to Wren or Alex. Nathaniel stood a bit straight and put his arms out. He had no weapons on him at the moment and didn't really care if Alfred had to search him. He had nothing to hide. "Good afternoon, Mr. Bane. How was your morning routine?" Alfred patted Nathaniel over and took a step back. Nathaniel grunted a response since he felt obligated to respond to him. "Good." Was all he said before pushing past him and walking into the room. A few classmates had already arrived but Nathaniel knew better than to sit just anywhere. He unfortunately had to sit with Gotham's most wanted and also mot psychotic. Enzo was the only other one from their trio present and Nathaniel quietly took a seat next to him. He sat straight in his chair and put his arms in front of him while locking his fingers together instead of leaning back like his 'friend'. The ring leader was unfortunately not here yet. He's most likely waiting for his grand entrance... Nathaniel thought.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

"K" groaned Anansi, even though she was still face down in her pillow, dreaming peacefully.

"Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Anansi popped up. The sun was shining in her bed room, creeping across the floor. She looked at the clock on her bedside table. She swore she just closed her eyes.

The wake up call was usually earlier then this, unless...

"Oh no..." She hurried out of bed, dashing around her room, she showered as quickly as she could, she didn't even bother to put on a shower cap and her hair was going to hate her for it. Once she finished that, she slipped on her body suit, leaving the top upzipped and the sleeves tied around her waste, a black sports bra keeping her modest, but still showing off the warm brown skin of her naval. Her wild curly sprung out every which way, as she brushed and she didn't think she had time to even bother with it.

Trying to fix all of that would take much to long and she knew she was going to want to be in class as early as possible. She wished she'd turned in early, but now, she wanted a party in her penthouse which kept her up half to night cleaning up after everyone.

She snickered. She had a helluva time though, she knew she threw the best parties.

Once she finished she grabbed her webshooters, refilled them and brought refills. Something Peter to her she should do, something he never did. Her suit was outfitted with pockets for refills. His hadn't been.
She locked and loaded, grabbed her backpack and ran out the door, swinging down the halls until she got to the elevators, where she had to impatiently wait, but then got back to swinging until she swung right in front of Alfred.

The old man was something else, he didn't even blink, but she figured after years of looking after Bruce Wanye, he's seen it all.

"Good Morning, Alfred." she said with a pearly white smile.
"Good Morning, Ms. Morales." He said, as he checked her for weapons, he beckoned her with a wave of his hands. "Oh C'mon, They aren't weapons, not entirely..." she said, but gave them up anyway. Typically, she wouldn't have complained but she wanted to be prepared. Professor Coulson never let them sleep in unless they would need the extra sleep, sleep that she never got. Alfred didn't respond beyond his wizen old smile and she huffed and stepped inside.

She looked around the room and saw most of her friends were already there.

"Morning Twinkies!" she called out to The Drake Twins as she walked in. She saw Cree and waved at her, brightly. Nathaniel and Max, Magni and Wren, Alex, Astrid and Adrienne too. She ignored Joker Jr and grinned at Enzo. She still didn't get the last riddle he had, and at this point she couldn't remember what it even was. She spotted Liz and Tommy and decided she'd go sit with them. She grabbed a seat next to Liz. "Morning, Lizzie." she said and kissed her bestie's temple. She always did that, why, she couldn't say. She walked over to Tommy, leaning over him, her curly hair hanging in her face, as she tapped his shoulder. "Morning Tommy." she said, with a bright smile. Liz already knew how big of a crush she had on Tommy, she was glad she sat near him, it gave her an excuse to sit with him. She was sure Liz could hear all of the school girl crush-ey thoughts bouncing around Anansi's head, she didn't care much because most of this, she always told her.

Once she was sure he was awake, she took her own seat, in front of him and Liz.

"I'm some friends over later, play some video games, My dad sent over the new Fallout, Wanna come over?" She asked, and honestly, she just had the idea the moment she saw him. She was impulsive that way, any excuse to have friends over, or in this case, for him to come over.

Image Cameron wasn't asleep. His eyes were closed and he was in bed, but he wasn't asleep. He was mediating, both of his ring glowing bright, their respective lanterns sitting on his bed. He'd slept that night, but he rose earlier. The time on this planet was still something he had to get used to. Oa had a sun but it never shined as brightly as the Earth's sun did. His circadian rhythm didn't work like the rest of the Earthlings.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Cameron's eyes opened and the bright glowing power rings dimmed, but only slightly. He took a deep breath, and uncrossed his legs, climbing out of bed. He'd already showered -that something he'd grown fond of- and changed into his clothes, some loose denim pants, a loose shirt and what everyone called a hoodie. He made his way toward class, as J.A.R.V.I.S spoke again. He took his time, as he approached Alfred.

"Good Morning, Mr. Stewart."

"Mr. Pennyworth."Cameron greeted, handing over his yellow ring but he hesitated. "You'll get them back before classes are finished."Alfred reassured and Cameron nodded and pulled his green ring off as well, he placed them in Alfred's hand and felt naked without that. He'd worked hard for the yellow ring, and the green was his only connection to his father. Parting with them, nearly every day, was hard, and didn't seem to get any easier with each passing day.

He walked inside the classroom, and took a set in the back, farthermost from everyone. Most didn't even see him there, and that was fine. He had what most would call friends, but he preferred to be alone.

So he watched, he watched as Magni entered, barking as usual. Cameron smirk, so slight it looked like a twitch. Much like himself, Magni was not of this world, he understood as much as he did, which meant very little. This world was a confusing place.

He sat quietly in his seat, thinking to himself, what else he would have to learn of this new place. Anansi, had be so kind as to give him a list of all the things she thought he should see but honestly, he wasn't sure if he had the time. There was a lot on her list.

As if called by her thoughts, The sweet girl practically skipped into the room. She hadn't seen him, but she waved to all that she did see, screaming her greetings, she took a seat nearest the dark boy, Thomas and the telepath, Elizabeth. Anansi's affection for the girl was charming and her fondness of the boy obvious.

Cameron just turned back to his thoughts, thinking about perhaps one day attending the parties Anansi always seems to throw. He'd been here a year but never accepted her invitation.

ImageShe just finished a sketch of the beach, smiling gently to herself and allowing herself to feel certain pride in the details before JARVIS rang out the announcement. She had no inner conflict or delay in striding to the elevator and pressing L1 though she were curious about the delay in classes.

She stepped out in her grey flats to be greeted by Alfred and the crate and against her most lady-like manners that were still in training, pulled out a common knife from her strap beneath her dress. "Also Miss Rogers, may I be as bold as to recommend a change in wear for this class." Initially, she interpreted such a comment as an insult, furrowing her brows at the unlikely behaviour. Then she caught the way his brows perked up communicating it was for her benefit. "Oh. Yeah. Sure." Astrid awkwardly scratched the back of her neck and doubled back to the elevators and her penthouse. For some reason it hadn't occurred to her that it'd be a class of physical exercise. She just assumed it would be announcement upon announcement and eventually take up the time in between the remainder of the day.

Astrid got changed into sportswear and tied her hair in a ponytail. An utter opposite from the secretary dress she wore before. Then started again, returning to the elevator and pressing L1 again. It'd just be one of those days when her mind wasn't at it's sharpest. The second time around, she was behind Nathaniel, granting the man plenty of space. In fact sticking closer to the elevators as he was patted down then pushed pass Alfred. Astrid skipped in step to be cleared for the second time and apologize quickly. "Sorry." Nobody was her responsibility but she felt obliged to make-up for the rough treatment the man received when it was only his job and they were doing the descendants the long-term favor.

Even then, passing Alfred with a mutual nod into the classroom, she wasn't the last to arrive. Astrid sat in a middle row by the furthest edge from the doorway, eyeing the others to scan the company she'd prefer to have or to avoid. When she saw Anansi's bright grin however, Astrid lit up in return. That girl's perk could be contagious. There was a little less dread in the day.

Sweat dripped onto the floor as a soft pants echoed throughout the penthouse. There stood Thena in her sleep attire jabbing away at the air in front of her. There was no sleep for her last night as she tried but failed. It couldn't have been more than two in the morning when she woke up to use the bathroom and when she returned to bed, found that she was wide awake. So Thena laid there, staring at the ceiling, thinking about Asgard, her mother, her grandparents and her friends. Soon her mind landed on a man who she didn't know, didn't want to know and yet she craved to at least know why he didn't want her.

It was then that she decided to get up and busy her mind with something else and that something else so happened to be a night long work out. Thena started out with her metal dummies, denting some with her fists alone until she switched her fists with two short metal rods that acted as a substitute for her swords. The asgardian has been at the academy long enough to know that too many dummies are lost during training and that they don't like it when they have to replace them. Around six in the morning was when she began practicing what the humans called boxing. Her mother got her started on it but that was two years ago and around the end of last year is when Thena felt as if she perfected it.

It's eight now and Thena just wrapped up her boxing. She bent over and unstrapped the weights that were around her ankles then came the one around her waist as it fell to the floor with a loud and heavy thud. Each of those weights weighed about 500 pounds, luckily she had a sturdy floor. Feeling sticky and rather uncomfortable Thena took her barely dressed self that she dubbed her night attire towards the bathroom for a shower. Once that was done she proceeded to dry her hair and tie the bangs back as usual but no braid today. After letting herself air dry the asgardian slathered herself in a lavender and honey smelling lotion that she simply adored.

Ever since Thena came down to earth the first thing that instantly attracted her were all the good smelling body products that she took too rather quickly. One thing is for sure, you'll never catch her smelling bad whatsoever. Once all her odor prevention products were applied and teeth cleaned Thena finally got dressed in her clothes for the morning which were rather comfy and breathable but also suited for training of almost any kind. As she was strapping on her dual sword harness onto her back the intercom began to speak the voice J.A.R.V.I.S. He spoke about how class was going to start in a few minutes so Thena just strapped on the rest of her gear and headed out.

Once down there the first thing Thena noticed was Alfred standing at the door and that's when she realized today was going to be more than a lecture. "Alfred" she greeted with a slight bow of the head and a small smile. Already knowing the routine Thena began to remove her weapons. She unsheathed her dual swords, Vanora & Fenrir from her back first and placed them in the crate before crouching down and removing the dagger she kept snug in her left boot and tossed that too into the crate. After patting herself down just in case she forgot something Thena walked into the room, her eyes instantly recognizing everyone there. Most she didn't give a second look but when passing Nathaniel she gave him a small smirk before taking a seat to the far left, away from the door in the middle row.

"I have no doubt about that Ms. Wilson." Wren nodded her head in a cocky way before bringing her hands up to start braiding her long brunette hair back. "But then again, rumor has it a fair amount here wouldn't mind silencing you." Phil's comment made her freeze midst doing her hair. She pursed her lips while furrowing her eyebrows, "That's cold Phil." Wren squinted her eyes at him from behind her sunglasses as she finished braiding her curls. Phil continued to nonchalantly look over his paperwork, "That's Mr. Coulson to you." Wren shook her head back and forth quietly mocking him, "That's Mr. Coulson to you..."

Wren was preparing another set of comments to through out at Phil. He was her only victim at the time, plus she didn't need to look behind her to tell that many people were entering and willfully avoiding her. Not that she blames them. She was pleasantly surprised when Magni moved in her peripheral vision. Wren cocked her head in his direction, moving her sunglasses to rest on top of her head. She watched him curiously as he spun the chair beside her, mimicking the way she was sitting. "This feels....awkward, and uncomfortable. As well as inefficient."

As Magni stood back up, and turned the chair around to its proper position, Wren spoke up, "I think it's because you're not used to having something between your legs." She raised a brow, smirking suggestively. Then with a swift movement she leaned back, raising her right leg over the back of the chair so she could turn and face him. "I mean... At least I hope not." She put up her hands innocently, "If that is your thing more power to ya. But you always struck me as more hetero... Plus if you are in fact used to things between your legs that that ruins my chances." Wren gave Magni an innocent smile, crossing her right leg over her left, then lightly brushed his shin with her foot.

"Why must you mortals do everything backwards?" Wren laughed slightly, "You mortals?... Hun, if I was 100% mortal I'd look like a grandmother right now. But! I do not think it's all mortals... Mostly me. I'm unorthodox." She couldn't help but wonder why someone like Magni would willing come sit beside her. Poor guy doesn't know what he's getting himself into being friends with her, although they've been a strange sort of friends for awhile now. Not that she was complaining. Wren has had a thing for him for awhile. She particularly found his naivety towards the human culture adorable. He took everything so literally and straight forward which was the polar opposite to her overly sarcastic manner. But then at the same time they had a lot in common.

Wren's thoughts were running away with her much like her mouth did, although she was thankful nothing slipped past her lips. How embarrassing would that be for someone like her to actually talk about her feelings? But when Magni then turned to talk to Phil it grabbed her attention once again. "Son of Cole-" Wren couldn't help but bust out laughing, practically snorting at the comment. "You insult me. I need not a sword in hand to part head from neck. My body is my greatest weapon!" "You can say that again." Wren peaked over at Magni as she spoke, most definitely referring to the part about his body being his greatest weapon. She then cleared her throat, holding up her index finger as to interject, "Although I'm pretty sure his father's name isn't Cole... I mean, just saying."

Phil rolled his eyes at the comments exchanged between the 2, waiting for a lull in the peanut gallery before he could respond to now Mr. Thorson's upset about the prohibition against weaponry. He didn't waste the effort of looking up from the files as he responded, "I couldn't care less if you all had weapons and went about killing each other. Could be quite entertaining." He sighed before setting down the file on the desk, laying his hands a top one another before looking towards the pair. "This isn't to keep you all from killing each other. It's for you all to learn how to solve problems without guns, swords or whatever else. I hate to inform you Mr. Thorson and Ms. Wilson... But when danger comes, it usually happens when you aren't prepared for it."

Enzo waited patiently and quietly as he observed the other students slowly filing into the classroom. He was finding enjoyment in watching Wren harass Phil and the addition of the mindless brute joining in. It had to take a new form of idiot to be blind to how strong Wren was coming onto him. That would either be the stupidest couple ever possible or quiet possibly a dangerous one. Enzo knew that underneath that woman's less than stable exterior was actually an intelligent person, similar to Junior. And someone with an above average intellect with an Asgardian on a leash to do whatever she willed... That could be a very powerful pairing, one to rival the reigns Junior has in Bane.

Lost in his thoughts, Enzo didn't realize the addition to the seat beside him until he heard him speak. "Oh, how convenient," He quickly tensed up in his seat. He refused to move, after all he was there first. So Enzo didn't shift in his seat, the only sign of his discomfort being the white knuckling happening from his hands clenched tight to one another as to keep him from strangling the nuisance. "Let me guess, Nigma, got a riddle to test my level of intellect?"

Enzo tipped back his hat slightly as he barely gave Aiden a glance. "Why would I need to test anything with you? I already know you're a moron pretending to be a Steve Jobs." He couldn't help but smirk slightly, "I would of said Steven Hawking... but that's a little above your pay grade." He grunted slightly as he readjusted himself in his sit, getting more comfortable. "But don't worry. You're still totally revolting to me Drake."

He didn't know if he would say he was happy to see Nathaniel, and was actually quite surprised that he took up the seat on the other side of him. Obviously waiting for his ring leader Junior. Enzo had no issues with Junior, obviously, he was his right hand man or whatever you'd prefer to call it. But he was not a fan of when people took orders for others. He was under the philosophy that people should only do things because they wanted to. Like him, he choses to be a Sociopath... He quite enjoys it. Still no matter, he looks over towards Nathaniel to be polite, "Good day Nathaniel."

Enzo brought his right hand up to rub his eyes in aggravation and frustration. Complaining under his breath more to himself than anyone else, "Wonderful. Sandwiched between Frosty the Snowman and The Jolly Green Mute..."

Magni paid little mind to what Wren was saying. He noticed that many of the others were avoiding her, he didn't really understand why. She was no more confusing, or annoying than any other human to him. They were all so strange to him, and she was no different to him. He did raise a slight eyebrow as he was wondering what she was talking about, but he's learned to mostly tune her out when she begins babbling like this. Well her and the small spider-girl. "You can say that again." Wren chimed in at his statement about his body.

"My body is my greatest weapon. Why must I repeat myself?" Magni replied with a confused look. "This isn't to keep you all from killing each other. It's for you all to learn how to solve problems without guns, swords or whatever else. I hate to inform you Mr. Thorson and Ms. Wilson... But when danger comes, it usually happens when you aren't prepared for it." Coulson explained to them. Magni glared at him, his face showing that he was insulted. "I am the God of Strength, stronger than Thor. The crowned Prince of Asgard. I have several centuries of battle experience. I have lived longer than either of you ever will. Make no mistake, I am always prepared for battle Son of Cole."

Coulson rolled his eyes and sighed. "Alright that's enough. No need to get upset." He replied, hoping that would settle Magni down. The Asgardian Prince groaned in annoyance as he leaned back in his chair slightly. He then glanced over at Wren, and then down at the floor. He should say something right? Be.....polite or whatever? He contemplated what to say to her. Humans were so strange to talk to. If he was back on Asgard his interactions with his friends were mostly bellowing, and testosterone filled headbutts.

Small talk. He needed to start with small talk. "Um....pleasant morning was it not?" Magni stated with some uncomfortableness. He rubbed the back of his head as he tried to think of something else to say.

Tommy continued to nap as people came in, not even noticing that Liz sat next to him. He woke up when he heard his name called by Ansari. He opened his eyes to her curly hair in his face, and wiped away a little bit of drool on the corner of his mouth. He looked up at her, seeing her bright smile. "Uh...morning Webhead.....though it's technically is the afternoon. I'm a nocturnal creature.....so good afternoon Webhead." He greeted back to her. He looked away from her smile, slightly blushing. She was always so nice, and open to him. It was something he appreciated. But he never really understood why she did so, they're about as opposite as it comes. He's not exactly the good guy, and he's the first to admit that.

He eyed her curiously as she asked him to come over to play some games with her friends. "Uh...sure, I guess. I've got nuttin else to do." He said as he stretched his arms out, and yawned. "I'll bring over the control I took from you.....ma wasn't a very good role model." He smirked at her. Yeah, the last time he was in her room he took one of her game controllers. And he was rather proud of that too by his tone. "So who else is coming?" He asked. He had to know who he was going to be dealing with. Though if he were a betting man he'd have to say it's probably the Drake twins, and Liz. Those were the usual suspects.

Tommy looked down at his clawless hands, and sighed in annoyance. "Man, I feel naked without my claws." He groaned. "And not in the fun way." He smirked, followed by a slight chuckle. "Don't see the point in taking my weapons, not like I can take on half the people here. Someone one like Magni, or Bane would just swat me away like a hundred and sixty pound fly." He added as he rubbed the back of his head. It was rather annoying for him to be so powerless when compared to people like them. Makes him feel so useless.

Image "Uh...sure, I guess. I've got nuttin else to do." Anansi beamed.
He's coming over! She thought brightly, she was sure she was probably screaming in Liz's ear right now. "I'll bring over the control I took from you.....ma wasn't a very good role model." He said with a devilish smirk and made Anansi blush but then she topped. "I didn't even notice" She said, with a curious chuckle. She wasn't lying. She really hadn't noticed but she would have figured if she had, he'd be the culprit. Hey, at least he was honest. "So who else is coming?" Tommy said and Anansi bit her lip.

"Uhh....Probably the usual." She said, inwardly kicking herself. He would ask who else was coming.

"Good Job, Webhead....Liz, Help me out." she thought to herself, and then to Liz.

Thankfully, Tommy dropped that conversation entirely. "Man, I feel naked without my claws." He murmured and Anansi shrugged. "And not in the fun way." He said and she fought hard spare Liz the mental image, it didn't hid the redness that formed on her tawny cheeks.

"Don't see the point in taking my weapons, not like I can take on half the people here. Someone one like Magni, or Bane would just swat me away like a hundred and sixty pound fly." He complained and Anansi sighed. Here it comes, the mood and brood.

"Yea, but you're quicker then both of them, Yea, their big but also means there slower." she said matter of factly. "I think it's cool, you can do what everyone else can without the excuse, that makes stronger than a lot of us. For us it's an excuse, for you, that's something you had to learn, and that's way cooler then something your just born with." she said, gesturing to herself. Yes, she was strong, she had the proportionally strength of a spider, but she really did think what he managed to do was cooler, without powers but it was in one ear with him, this wasn't the first conversation nor would it be the last.
"If you want, I can show you some pressure points that'll even the playing field, don't need weapons for those. "She added with a shrug.

ImageHe, like the others responded to the good robot thing announcing a mandatory class in 15 minutes by leaving his luxurious penthouse and pressing L1 as required. The elevator moved quickly to the floor and even in that brief silence, he thought it could do with some modifying and some elevator music. Just because he was easily labelled evil, didn't mean he had lack of interests or enjoyment. Music was one of them.

Stepping onto the first floor, he saw Alfred and his crate which generally implied confiscation of weapons. Kain sighed out before approaching and rolled his neck around, trying to lose the tension there. Before he forfeited his weapons, he held up a finger that was oddly not in objection. "Elizabeth forfeited hers?" Standing on purely neutral territory or at least not favoring those inclined to do bad, he granted no response. Kain smirked, rolled his eyes and reached into his black jean pocket, pulling out a pack of cards and dumped them into the crate, catching glimpses of other interesting weapons as he did so trying to pair the weaponry to the individual. Alfred shifted, not letting Kain observe and calculate beyond his time. In turn, Kain's gaze shifted back to the butler and he went to step into the room. "Mr. Python," he prompted.
So he probably wasn't the first to try or Alfred knew the cunning of Kain too well. He looked off and sighed out his nose as he gave up his nifty little belt of small hunting knives then outstretched his arms for Alfred to pat him down. "Your power is your wisdom old man." He smirked when Alfred waved him through the room. "And it's Kain. Just Kain."
Kain's hazel eyes drifted through the present people. The green clan was slowly assembling. And Max Stark was looking popular with Ethan and his favorite girls; Cree and Elizabeth. Both favorites for different reasons. Even Ethan could bump up to a favorite list if he robbed a bank from time to time with his abilities. Kain shook himself out of it and tried not to get caught up on who to prioritize if they went rogue. Because the if in this place was huge.

He moved where Natchios sat, leaving one seat between them. "Don't let my presence bother you sweetheart,"he said pressing his tongue to his cheek to poorly cover a menacing grin. "You got a pen?"

ImageFor a man with superspeed as a power, Caleb moved slowly, trudging to the elevator. 15 minutes was plenty anyway, though he had already spent 10 simply remaining in place.

Caleb never wielded weapons or carried them around seeing as his body was one enough and that was known to many people. Caleb wasn't gifted at wielding weapons anyway. "Good afternoon Mr. Kent. No weapons on your being today either I assume?" Caleb shook his head. "Nope." And as easy as that, entered the classroom. He would've been happier sitting with Magni but unfortunately the male's current company, Wren, repelled Caleb from the idea. She could just talk, and talk, and talk. Even when Magni struggled for real conversation that was kinda cringable. He searched for another option. He could have equally sat alone and waited for someone to be stuck next to him or choose to sit by him on the off chance but he was in the mood for company.
He super-sped to the seat near Astrid then smiled brightly. "Hey, Astrid. Thena." He greeted as she was close enough. "Training sesh at this time... What do you think's up with that?" It wasn't a bugging curiosity just a conversation opener.

ImageRenee had been awake about a two hours before J.AR.V.I.S' message. After Anansi's party, she'd gone to bed, without changing so she made it a point to wake up earlier to take a nice long bathe....that took her a bit longer than she intended. She dressed in her combat gear, but she took her time with her make up and hair. She was battle ready that didn't mean she had to look bummy. By the time she was done, she was impressively late.

She grabbed her cards and her father's bo staff and made her way to L1 where Alfred greeted her. "Morning, Ms. Lebeau." He said and she smiled politely, coughing up her cards, the bo staff that she twisted and compacted into a 6 inch baton, also removed her phone as well. "G'Mornin', Mr. Pennyworth, you must forgive mah tardiness," she said with her southern drawl and cajun flare. "You made it just in time, Ms. Lebeau, though this it new for you." He said and she shrugged. "I know, and I'm so sorry, it's just been one of d'em mornin's, can't say it won't 'appen again, but I'll try mah best." The cajun girl said and Alfred gave her a smile and let her pass. "Very Good, Ms. Lebeau"

Once inside, she scanned the room. Everyone was pretty much there. Alfred was right, it was new, she was rarely late for classes, but the bath she took, a little longer then she intended, but it was worth it, she smelled of lavender, and it followed her into the room.

"Hey, Renee!" Anansi called, waving from where she sat with Tommy and Liz. "Hey, Suga!" she said, with a finger wave before making her way toward the twins. Her oldest and closest friends. "Mornin' boys. Cree-girl." she said, as she blew all kisses as she took a seat beside Aiden. "Sorry, I'm late, but it takes time to look dis good." she said gesturing to herself with a laugh. "Just teasin"

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." It took Jai awhile to register the alarm going off or even hear J.A.R.V.I.S to begin with. Jai was still deep in sleep enjoying the most pleasant dream that involved coconut bras and two lovely red headed friends of his. The alarm ruined that dream and Jai was forced to push himself up out of bed. Jai let his feet hit the ground and stretched his body while hearing a few joints pop from the process. Jai enjoyed his sleep very much. Almost as much as he enjoyed food and girls.

Jai stood up and began to zip around the room as he showered, brushed his teeth, changed, and ate breakfast in seconds. Once he was done, he ran just as fast down several flights of stairs since the elevator would only take longer for him. He reached the door and out of laziness, vibrated himself fast enough to past through it so he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of opening it himself. Jai was then greeted by Alfred. "Hey, Alfred. What are we doing today? Is it fun training exercises? Do we get to fight each other? We should so do that. I'd knock everyone down in a flash. Pun intended. Or are we final gonna go on some bad ass mission outside the school where we get to save the day. Imagine all the girls that would throw themselves at me after I save everyone since my powers are so awesome. I'm like a human vibrator..." Alfred used the second pause to raise his hand and Jai was silent for the brief moment. "Good morning, Master Jai. Cellphone please." Jai looked confused but then gave up his phone.

"Your ring too, sir. You'll get it back after class." Jai looked down at his ring and hesitated before eventually giving it to him. He would have just ran off and not given it away if he wasn't fortunate enough to have his hoodie made of the same material. It was the only thing that kept his powers from killing him. Jai ran into the rom and zipped around the area knocking over papers and books. He eventually stopped at the front next to Wren and looked over at Coulson and started firing away questions one after the other. "So what's going on today? And why do you have a bin full of weapons and my ring? Are we fighting each other? Is taking our stuff away supposed to keep us from killing each other? Wouldn't we kill each other by now? Is there gonna be food? What kind?" Jai kept going and going on and it was barely audible at this point unless someone had super fast hearing and could hear him talking about how he wanted tacos.

Jai finally stopped and took a breathe when he noticed Wren having an exchange with Magni. He immediately butted in and began talking just as fast as before with his best friend. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it. Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?" He looked over at Magni and grinned. It was his turn now. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?"

Magni eyed Wren curiously as she seemed to space out. Once she spoke again he was still rather confused. What was she talking about? "I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" He asked. He then sniffed the air to get a good whiff of her odor. "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." He assured her. Why she would care if others sat near her was beyond him. He didn't care either way. Everyone was of little concern to the Asgardian Prince. Though he did find Wren....amusing at times.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy." He stated. Thor had made it a point for him to be familiarized with some of the Midgard literature. "Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it." He explained. "Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." He added with a note of contempt. Pfft, Greek Gods, as if. His attention was then brought back to Wren as she motioned around them.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move." He asserted. "You are as adequate company as the next." He assured her. "You as uninteresting to me as the next." He added as he gestured around them. "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." He stated in a rather cold manner that is common for him. He wasn't really trying to make her feel better or anything, he was just stating his opinion.

And then they were joined by Jai West, the son of the Flash. Magni was barely able to keep up with his super fast speaking as he spoke to Wren. And then he turned to Magni. Magni rolled his eyes as he spoke. Like super strong? Sort of a God? He was super strong, and he was a God. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God." He corrected the speedster. "Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy." Magni replied as he cracked his knuckles with a rather bloodthirsty look in his eye. "I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle."

[color-#000052]"I don't need charity."[/color] Tommy replied to Anasri's offer. He looked down at his hands as he twiddled his thumbs. "Well, in all fairness Magni is a lot lighter on his feet than he appears. Seriously, I bet he'd be a good dancer if you know he didn't want to go all Conan the Barbarian on everything." Tommy pointed out followed by a slight chuckle as he imagined Magni dancing. "Besides, isn't that kinda cheap talk coming from you guys? You guys have always had powers. Webhead you're about as fast, and agile as me without even trying. And Liz....well you can probably bench press as much as I can without using your arms."

"Meh whatever. I can be just as adaptable with my claws." Tommy added as he placed his hands behind his head, and leaned back in his chair. They were soon interrupted by the arrival of Renee, fashionably late of course. Tommy gave her a small nod hello. He then noticed Matt in the room, and slightly scuffed at his presence. "Well there's the nephew. Wonder where the niece is?" He muttered to himself. Well it was loud enough for those near him to hear him, but it was not directed to anyone.

Tommy chuckled slightly to himself as he thought of ways to mess with Matt. Since he had to give up his phone he could easily steal it from the old man, and feel it full of dude-on-dude action. Or maybe just animals going at it. He's not quite sure which would be funnier. He then glanced over at Liz who probably heard his thoughts about pranking Matt. 'Don't judge me. I'm a petty, petty man.' He thought to himself in case she was listening in on him.

ADRIENNE STRANGE
attireโ”‚xXXโ€ขXXsongโ”‚weatheredXXโ€ขXXmoodโ”‚languid

Most would assume Adrienne to be a morning person. Intelligent, stoic, a complete perfectionist; such traits were often possessed by the likes of the organised early birds, up a the crack of dawn, prepared for the day before it even broke. But Adrienne is loathe to stereotypes, and this one in particular could not be further from the truth.

In truth, the girl was similar to a sloth in terms of sleeping patterns, and tended to remain enveloped in her star-adorned duvet long after her initial awakening, simply enjoying the coziness her beloved blankets brought, and perhaps keeping herself company with one of the many books that were stacked about the apartment.

This particular morning, Adrienne had awoken around ten-ish, and decided against getting up, instead opting for dozing, face warmed by the soft sunlight that filtered through her window's blinds. Then, after the novelty had started to wane, she'd climbed sluggishly out of bed, prepared some breakfast, and returned to her bed. A single slice of toast slotted between her lips as she held a book in one hand and a mug of hot chocolate in the other. She'd propped up some pillows as to soften the bed's backboard, and spent the next two and a half hours engrossed in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

It was halfway through chapter thirty that Adrienne's perusing was interrupted by a familiar English accent, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 1300 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Adrienne's glanced up at the speaker with furrowed eyebrows, before reluctantly folding down the corner of the book and clamoring out of bed. She passed the mirror, before backtracking as to get a better look at her reflection. A grizzled individual stared back, ebony hair a tangled mess and a chocolate fringe around her mouth from her morning beverage. Adrienne clicked her tongue, pondering the amount of time she had to adjust herself into an image at least slightly presentable. Her expression was skeptical. Fifteen minutes, huh? She sighed, shrugging. "Not likely."

Precisely ten minutes later, Adrienne had managed a quick shower -a severe change from her typical interminable soaks- and thrown on a typical outfit. Even during physical training, Adrienne could often be seen wearing her usual trench coat and trousers, as opposed to the more suitable attires of her 'classmates'. Sports bras and supersuits were hardly Adrienne's style, and she detested exercise about as much as she cherished slumber.

A minute after that, Adrienne was approaching the balding gentleman and his table of weaponry. Alfred knew better than to bother stopping her, and instead he offered her a raise of the eyebrow and a wry smile. "Slept in, Miss Strange?"

Adrienne offered him an equally satirical expression. "That implies an initial intent to get up early. I had nothing of the sort."

Alfred tutted disapprovingly, "Perhaps you should change that."

Adrienne passed him, raising her hands as her tied her dark locks up into a ponytail. "Perhaps. But I doubt I will."

The doors slid open with a smooth snickt, and Adrienne gazed around the room scrutinizingly. Her classmates had already begun to knot and bundle. The little groups dotted around the room like flies on fly paper, some significantly less comfortable than others. Catching sight of Nathaniel, Adrienne stepped to join him, only for Matthew to catch her eye. He was stationed by his lonesome, and even a girl as stony as Adrienne had to note his appearance of despondency with a hint of sympathy.

Just a hint, though.

Tucking her hands into her pockets, she approached his back, looking over him with perusal. A teasingly pitying look touched her features, "What a depressing sight."

Lilith was training which was never really a hobby like it was for others but it was more of a necessity for her. So many others had some higher level of fighting skill or strength, meanwhile her powers could be countered and were based on manipulation. She needed physical power behind her small frame rather than rely on some superman, or someone of the sort to rescue her.
"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." With that, she sighed out gently patting the boxing bag and threw on her cardigan. "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you." She smiled slightly and moved to the elevator. L1. Behind her back, she entwined her own fingers together.

When she saw Alfred waiting, she tilted her head. "All good news I hope?" She gestured to the crate.
"That depends on how you care to interpret it. Your weapons will have to be temporarily surrendered from this point on, Miss Isley."
Her brows shot up with an amused smile. "Unlike my fellow acquaintances I don't play armed and paranoid carrying those objects around. Besides, not all weapons can be surrendered." She tapped her lips in hint then smiled sweetly. "May I pass?"
With an evident internal sigh and even roll of the eyes Alfred responded, "Go right ahead."
She brushed pass him, joining the others. She scanned her options as her pace slowed around the room. One row from the back would have to do her, seeing as the back row consisted of an interesting make-up. She turned her chair to face Enzo and Nathaniel.
And dear Enzo looked to be agitated. She smiled a little, assuming Aiden found some nerve switch of his but would quickly become preoccupied in Renee. For now though, she stayed quiet as a spectator, scanning the peculiar back row.

ImageThere was a random burst of air beside her, followed by Caleb to be revealed in the seat so casually and a big fat bright grin of his. Well it was only a guess of two when flying colors flashed towards people in here. Jai or Caleb.
She could only pray this would be one of their tame conversations, from whatever departed his mouth. Of course it bothered her to bits and probably other women that he countered his attractive looks by some of the things he said and boasting. Such a waste of potential. "Hey, Astrid. Thena. Training sesh at this time... What do you think's up with that?" He couldn't have said it in a more detached tone if he tried. But at least it was tame. Astrid glanced to Thena, seeing if she could magically provide some satisfactory answer for him. "Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." She supplied her response anyway.
"I should have had some coffee," she muttered as the likelihood kicked in.

Her eyes shifted back to the front of the class and she saw Magni giving Jai one of his lust for battle looks as he cracked his knuckles. She grabbed Caleb's arm ready to push him forward as interference if need be. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" She asked wide eyed.

Max sat leaning back in his chair as he watched the others file in. First came Magni, his brutish Asgardian acquaintance. Magni went straight towards Wren and the front of the classroom. Max had previously noted their odd friendship. It didn't fit, yet they always seemed to be around one another. A few others filed in before he saw the first of the the people he uually sat with enter the classroom. It was Cree. Max smiled at her as she rushed towards him, talking about her latest robotics project. She was always so excited when it came to these things. Not that Max minded, she was the only one he could get extremely nerdy with. He appreciated that part of their friendship, along with the mutual trust they had built.

While Cree was telling Max about her robotic dog, Max saw Aiden and Ethan walk in. Aiden took up his usual place near the back. He never sat with them in class. Max wondered why, but Aiden was odd, and it was best not to question him. Max knew Aiden was there when he was needed. Ethan walked toward them and waited patiently for the topic to change. Max nodded to him, but lost focus when he saw Liz Natchios step into the classroom. Max and Liz had an odd relationship to say the least. He was definitely attracted to her. She was just a little bit over bearing. He had an idea that she was crushing on him. It took a lot to make Max commit though. He was too much of a flirt, and he didn't want to give that up for just anything. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as she approached, and flashed his signature nervous smile towards her.

Max watched the rest of his fellow extra ordinary humans file in as small talk went on all around him. He was uncharacteristically quiet this morning. He was bothered by the fact that he was going to have to go into the training session without his suit. He always felt useless without it. Max knew he was still as smart, if not smarter, than anyone. He knew he could go fist to fist with most, but people like Magni and Bane would crush him. Those same people didn't dare try him when he had his suit on. They would much rather keep him as their ally. He just wasn't as confident without it. His inner musings were interrupted by the sight of Lilly entering the room. Max couldn't lie. He had a major thing for blondes. They weren't close or anything, but he always smiled anyways when he saw her. Max looked away and returned to his thoughts.

"I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" Magni said before sniffing the air and adding, "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." Wren almost did a double take at the comment not knowing if she should feel insulted or laugh. So she laughed, "Glad to know that I only stink like all the other 'puny mortals'." She said it in her best Magni impersonation. "Because... You know, Asgardians smell like Japanese cherry blossom." Ok so she'd be lying if she said Magni didn't smell pleasant like most men. It was apparent that not all Earthly things were foreign to him, such as showers and deodorant.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy. Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it. Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." Wren nodded her head in slight surprise at his knowledge of the subject. "You know Oh brutish one, that learning about other cultures is important... Like the Trojan horse. Ingenious idea if you think about it. Hiding in a structure depicting a religious matter to gain entrance to an impenetrable city." Wren knew Magni was stubborn and thought he was perfect in his knowledge the way he is. But everyone can learn something knew. "Even you can learn a thing or 2 from Earth's history.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move. You are as adequate company as the next. You are as uninteresting to me as the next." Wren scoffed, resting her arm on the back of the chair before her as Magni motioned towards the room. "Well don't you just know how to make a girl feel special? "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." Wren leaned towards him slightly, raising a curious brow. "So if you don't care if anyone sits near you... Then why choose to sit next to me? After all, I'm as 'uninteresting' as everyone else in here." He could play his tough act all he wanted but Wren knew that somewhere in there was a normal caring person. Plus people don't just choose to sit next to her unless they like her because she's annoying.

Wren knew Jai had entered before seeing him. Between the quick breeze of air, books knocking over then to the rapid fire at Coulson. It was only a matter of time before his attention shot in her direction. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it." Hell of a way to start a conversation. Wren glanced down at her bra, tugging at the top of it before looking back up at him. "Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?"

Wren shook her head, laughing. "First of all... FUCK! Man seriously!? You're dreaming of me in a tiny cocoanut bra!?" She raised her hand to smack him in the back of the head. "And you do realize making babies involves conception? With your speed you'd be what?... Done in 5 seconds, give or take. So how would someone who couldn't make it past half a minute supposed to work with someone who has stamina so high that they never sleep? Think on that for a minute." She grinned teasingly, "I need someone like Terminator over here." Wren playfully smacks Magni's bicep. "And we're talking about Magni's pent up unconditional love for me... It's quite moving."

Happy that it wasn't her turn anymore, Wren grabbed the back of the chair and leaned back so that Jai and Magni could see each other. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?" Wren started cracking up laughing before Magni could speak. She knew Magni would kick his ass. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God. Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy. I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle." Wren wouldn't actually mind it if they fought except for the fact she would almost guarantee that Jai would loose. And she liked the kid on occasion. "Did you know that Magni is a god? I didn't know that. It's not like he says it nearly every time he speaks." Wren grinned deviously towards Magni.

Phil sat somewhat patiently at the desk in the front of the classroom, strumming his fingers along the wooden surface. He wouldn't admit out loud that he was happy that class today was going to be brief... Well at least the portion including him. He glanced down at his watch. Upon seeing the time, Phil cleared his throat which got Alfred's attention. With their gaze met, he motion his index and middle finger beckoning Alfred to come join him. Luckily for Alfred, the crate containing the abundance of weapons was on wheels so he was easily able to roll in into the classroom and up to the front beside the desk. Phil then put up his hand motioning for everyone in the room to quiet down. "It's time to begin. Whomever isn't here... Well hopefully they show up before the training begins or they'll get an automatic failure for the exercise."

He looked over towards Alfred who then began to speak. "I know you all are less than content with the collection of your weaponry and gadgets upon entry. But for the sake of the exercise today we are limiting everyone to their basics... Which is quite literally the clothes on your back." Alfred reopens the crate before the classroom, "I apologize," He clears his throat, "Ms. Luther, your gauntlets and contact lenses if you have them in. Mr. Stark, your suit will have to remain in the classroom during the exercise. And Ms. Wakandas, Dumisami must either wait in the room during the exercise or return to your penthouse." Alfred addressed each of the students as he spoke. "If I have missed anything, or one of you are trying to pull a fast one on me please have some shred of decency to place the items in the crate." He motioned towards the crate before facing Phil slightly.

"Alright then," Phil spoke up once again, "As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. Well, if you can call them ordinary. Out of the kindness I have allowed you all extra time to sleep in... or do whatever it is you all do in the mornings." He made a shooing motion with his hand before continuing, "This exercise is going to test you all on varying levels that will exploit your weakest levels. Alfred and I have been around you all a long time. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are."

Before Phil felt like he was going to completely loose their attention, he decided to cut to the chase. "So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." It didn't take long for Wren to chime in, "What?... Like that cheesy movie with Kurt Russell?" Phil sighed, nodding his head, "In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian." It sounded simple enough right? Leave it to Wren to catch on, "... What's the catch?"

Phil smiled, which was indeed a rare sight. "Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses."

Before concluding, Alfred held up his index finger to interject. "You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Then Phil added, "And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night." He crossed his arms over his chest to show that he wasn't kidding before asking, "Any questions?"

Image"Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." Astrid responded. He nodded along and shrugged. He didn't even have a guess or care much for one. Whatever happened, happened. They were along for the ride once they entered the classroom. And Caleb was fairly certain he could take whatever came his way. "I should have had some coffee," she added after a moment.
"Maybe you should have." He agreed. "Obviously you need whatever substance you can to be in peak condition." He smirked at her.

When Astrid grabbed his arm he looked down at her hand then up at her startled face. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" Caleb followed her gaze to see Magni and Jai and Wren just kicking back. Magni looked moments away from throwing a punch, that much was right. "I don't know. Depends." To finish any prompts of what, he continued. "It depends if Jai moves fast enough or if Magni's that determined to hit him." He replicated a casual shrug and smile. Little fights were entitled to break out in the academy. Not everyone saw eye to eye and some people would literally ask to test the others skill. He didn't need his super hearing to gather that was likely the case. If it were a heated instance, the room would be upside down.

Phil begun his speech up the front of the class and Caleb glanced to Astrid. "Relax." She was such a den mother. When his ears caught to save the civilian. They didn't even get to pick their partners from a hat. Again, he looked to his closest company hearing Phil announce the pairs are based on relationships and similar power. The arena accounting for their strengths and weaknesses. Astrid and he struggled to work together so he was a little worried they'd be at each other's throat for this one. "Good guess," he muttered. He rolled his eyes back to the front and awaited the pairing.

Image"What a depressing sight." Matt simply cocked his head back to confirm the face to the voice he was familiar with and grinned. "Hey, stranger." He admittedly thought himself a little more clever than he was for playing on her name in that way. "I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." He shifted in his seat to look at her from a more comfortable position, making a show of wrapping his arm around the spare seat. "How have you been today anyway?" His grin returned and poor act dropped.

Pretty soon, Phil was gaining the students attention, causing him to turn back to the front. He didn't entirely like what was being said about exploiting weaknesses but at least he was outright about it. And then like Wren had asked he was waiting for the real punch line. "Er, that doesn't sound promising," he commented quietly. "We're pretty much an even pair right?" He asked Adrienne, though his focus shifted so intensely she could have crept away by that time. He just wanted to delude hope and be paired with someone he could have at least half trust. "Any questions?" Matt looked around. He personally had none for the moment but there were always those productive ones that he didn't think of until they were brought up.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Alex initially ignored him. She didn't care for showing up to class today she wasn't I the mood and she could simply use Bruce to her advantage this time. "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you." Alex tossed in her bed. "Fuck."

"The one time a month I actually get sleep in and this fucking school is making me show up to class." Alex mumbled as she pushed herself out of bed. Her bed was hardly ever used and went back in it's little hiding compartment once she was out. Her penthouse had a very futuristic feel to it with hand scanners to deploy the hidden features of the room, her own lab, and a complete weapons arsenal that was enough to make Deadpool wet. She put her hand on one of the panels and a door slid open. She slipped into her closet and changed before popping back out and taking her pick on weapons for today.

Alex went into her weapons room next to decide what toys she wanted for the day. She grabbed her favorite Colt 1911 and strapped it to the left side of her hip and also grabbed the tiny but still deadly Colt Mustang. Her 1911 held actual bullets in it while she used the Mustang as another way to concentrate her starbolts through. The amount of blades she grabbed next were too many to count and she finished it off with a few little bombs and gadgets of hers.

Now that she was loaded up, it was time to head to class.

Alex must've had terrible timing because once she was in the elevator... He was there. Alex stared forward and did her best to ignore him. "Well, well, well... What do we have hear." Alex attempted to try and listen to anything else but him but it didn't work. She just needed to keep her cool for long enough. Though that was unlikely. And of course, he continued to antagonize her. "You're dressed a lot like your father today. Is it a special occasion? His birthday, perhaps? Do tell so I can run a little message along to him." He began to laugh and Alex clenched her fists as he continued. "Though I'm not sure he's in any position to be receiving messages." He pointed at the ring around her neck that belonged to Jason.

That was it. Alex wasn't going to take the high road.

Alex spun around and landed a fist square onto his nose. Junior flew to the back of the elevator laughing with a very much broken and bloody nose. "Tsk tsk, Alex. What would Bruce think?" The elevator stopped at their floor and Alex grabbed him by his green shirt before tossing him out onto the floor and then hitting him with another Tamaranean punch. All Junior did was laugh.

Alex picked him up again and punch him scared in the Jaw. She made sure it was hard enough to make him slam against the classroom doors. Alex then tackled him they both came crashing through the door. Junior was actually fighting back at this point for the sake of getting out. He landed a few good hits on Alex but he looked much worse than her. Alex punched him again and then lifted him up with her Mustang up under his chin and it began to glow green. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blast your head off right now."

"I can give you three." It was Coulson. "One, you'll go to Arkham Prison... Again. Two, you get to deal with the Wrath of Bruce. And three, no dance for you." Alex let go of Junior only because of the threat for going to prison. The others didn't phase her.

Alfred came in front of her with a bin. "You're weapons, Master Todd." Alex was reluctant to give up her babies but she did eventually comply. She put her two guns in first before taking off her blaster. Now it was time to grab her knives. She took out one that was tied around her neck and under her shirt, another small one hidden in her sleeve, the throwing stars in her inside jacket pocket, the one strapped horizontally on the back of her belt, another in her pocket, and two in her boots. Alfred shook the bin. "Everything." Alex sighed and grabbed the bombs she hid in her jacket and the other gadgets she was hoping to test today. "You will also have to change shows, Miss." Of course Alfred would know she had hidden blades that popped out in her boots.

Alex took off her boots and tossed them into the bin when she caught sight of a pair of sneakers. She put them on and they were exactly her sixe. He came prepared. Alex thought before she moved over to her group of friends. It felt weird having eyes on her thanks to the entrance she made but she just ignored them. She saw Jai and Magni still standing up like they too were ready to throw down. Alex folded her arms. "The fuck are you guys staring at? Get your dumb asses in those chairs before I decide to make you both look worse than Junior." It was clear Alex was not in a good mood and nor did she feel like with any retaliation from anyone. She was one wrong step away from blasting someone's head off. The only one safe would be Wren who now sat on her right while Jai was seated to her left. Wren was one of the very select few safe from her wrath.

Alex looked back to see Junior taking his bloody self next to his boyfriend, Enzo, with a huge smirk spread across his face. He began to whisper something into his ear but Alex decided not to listen in. It was probably perverted and something she really didn't want to hear. Instead she tried to focus on class and not get kicked out this time.

Thena was sitting one seat away from Astrid when Caleb filled it with his being. Sometimes Thena didn't understand why people would use their powers for the simplest things but then again she had sometimes did it herself. "Hey, Astrid. Thena." His smile radiated like the sun and that made Thena want to squint her eyes a bit while looking at him. It wasn't at all a compliment nor an insult, it just bothered her a bit that he looked too happy. "Caleb" Thena greeted casually before opening her legs a bit and sitting forward, much like a male would do. She was silent for the couple of seconds that Caleb talked because she wasn't quite sure if it was direct just to Astrid or the both of them but Thena soon spoke up once more after Astrid gave her that look and gave a response of her own. "Yup, looks like we are going to have loads of fun today." said Thena while shaking her head and averting her gaze towards the floor.

"I should have had some coffee," Thena rose her head slightly, enough to look at Astrid from the corner of her eye. " I prefer the pepsi but coffee is also good." she nodded slightly, agreeing with herself before her gaze moved to the front of the room over where they landed on the brute and energizer bunny. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" The lovely Astrid prepared to toss Caleb into any drama that might happen but Thena only smirked and sat back with arms crossed. " I don't know, the oh so mighty prince of strength could use a good knock on his ass." Thena had no doubt that Jai might get knocked off his feet with a good timed punch from Magni but if there was a chance that the energizer bunny could do some damage then why the hell not?

The asgardian managed to catch the part where Phil said that anyone who skipped the class or didn't get here on time would get an automatic failure which instantly made Thena think of Cordelia. The girl was always late to class but Thena hoped that Lia would at least get here before training started or not she'd probably scold her again. Her train of thought snapped back to the class room when Alfred began calling out the students that couldn't bring certain things into training today. For a second Thena all but forgot about the pointy armor she had on her right shoulder. A sigh escaped her lips as she unfastened it, got up and walked over to the crate dumping it in there. Once back at her seat Thena rubbed her shoulder where the armor use to be as it felt a bit naked. For the rest of the announcement from Alfred Thena sat with her arms crossed and her neutral poker face on.

Honestly she was looking forward to the training while at the same time she wasn't. Out of nowhere two bodies crashed into the room which caused Thena to snapped her head towards the loud noise. The surprise on her face was evident as she noticed the two bodies taking blows were Alex and Junior. Her eyes followed every movement, something inside her wanted to break up the fight but then again, knowing Junior he must have said something to set her off and again he usually deserved what had coming to him. He's good at that and if it wasn't for the smart and pushy mouth of his Thena would like him a bit more. The fight ended though with Phil talking Alex down and making her change into sneakers after making her give up all her weapons. After eyeing the redhead for a minute after she sat down Thena returned her gaze towards the ground. There was something bothering her, something at the back of her mind that was just poking at her and she didn't know what.
