Astrid wears clothing that's considered neat and always tries to look presentable, though she takes a liking towards leather. But really, anything that fits her goes, as long as it's weather appropriate if she has bothered to check the forecast.
She wears a small sapphire ring on her middle finger that her father gave her, feeling as though he must spoil her with at least one feminine gift in compensation for the path he has led her on. He also wants her to wear it to remember him. And so she does proudly. Though to her, the gift was not necessary.
Unless on a mission, she does not wear the outfit.
The Shield: More precious yet. She hasn't mastered the usage but it is left to her heritage. May change if sibling occurs.
{Overall Appearance}
Her father is undeniably a gorgeous old soul and this has been somewhat inherited. She's certainly a young woman in a dignified soul that's easy on the eyes with his blues. Instead of a buff build however, she beholds more of a slim/ toned athletic one and a paler skin complexion.

Astrid feels she has enormous expectations on her shoulders. The captain was a great hero who never quit, put himself before others, had amazing leadership skills, morals and fighting talents and respect. Meanwhile, she is at risk of selfish tendencies, not as level headed and more lenient on others. The Captain cares a great deal for discipline and justice. And she just wants to make herself and him proud. She wants to live up to his name. It's her ultimate objective. As a result, she can be very self critical and harsh on herself. Yet, she carries herself with confidence, shielding away her own critique to let it remain her own. Others opinions, unless praise, are unwelcomed on her talents. She must remind herself perfection is the only impossible and she is only human.
Despite that, Astrid's an internal optimist. She's persistent for her outcomes in a battle and operates heavily by "it's not over, until it's over." Likewise, she prefers to see the good in others and wants to believe in an ideal team formation, but thank her groundedness, she knows its only reachable in dreamland and not everyone is worthy of her trust and unity. So there lies a long way to Astrid's trust. However, it doesn't stop her from appearing the outgoing individual, socializing with everyone and applying herself to challenges. She wants to reinforce just whose daughter she is and how capable she is. Within that process comes a very business orientated woman, adapting to individuals strengths and weaknesses, but below the surface is a girl who likes the light-heart and fun. She just seeks a break from the weight of war.
{Habits}
โ Old Fashioned: It could either be a phrase or wording or a strong belief in chivalry. But it slips out from time to time.
{Likes}
+Dogs: "Who doesn't?" Man's greatest friend that prove extremely loyal and reliable.
+Attractiveness: "More in terms of personality." She loves the people that can attract light in darkness. Whether its in eccentricity or perkiness. Mainly the people that know how to balance a good time with business.
+Beach: "The sun and sound of crashing waves. Aaahh." There is something soothing in waves crashing on shore. And something physically challenging in fighting the tide, making for a good means of training.
{Dislikes}
-Relying on Technology: "Sorry Stark. I mean it's amazing! But it's not always there..." She uses it, and taught her dad more on it but it is corruptible. She wouldn't bet anyone's life on technology.
-Notification/Verification: "Confirmation! I mean confirmation!" When there's a mass move she'd at least like to be included and have some say in the approach. If it goes under her radar, she gets incredibly mad.
-Disregard/Disrespect: "So long as you take me seriously enough." Who likes to be ignored or looked down on? Astrid may have a few comparison issues but she is still worthy.
-Sexism: "And of course there has to be that one let down that the Captain didn't have a son." For some reason, a simple comment or the disappointment that washes over citizens when they realize her gender, strikes the wrong cord with her. Underestimating her has the same effect.
{Hobbies}
โ Dancing: "More of the classy kind as opposed to the bump and grind business." The only reason it's not considered a like is because she loves dancing and recalling on waltzing around with the elegance of her father.
{Fears}
-Infusions/Needles: "It may be more so the people that do the process." Different substances do different things and they can be powerful for better or for worse. As well as the injector debriefing on the effects.
-Heights: "Unlike some of you, I can't defy gravity." Plummeting to her death or severe injury is something she could do without.

โฆTrait Deprived/Trust Meaning, she wants to be a good and honorable soldier. It's exactly how her father raised her, but fellow peers don't play by rules and she's smarter than to believe in fair play. This also leads to trouble trusting people as much as she'd like to.
โฆHuman Beneath all the super soldier armor, she is in fact human. Meaning killable, tortureable, etc.
โฆShield Usage She's talented with it in close combat, however to rate her a master is inaccurate. Unlike her father she does not have ultimate control over aerodynamics. Yet.

Steve brought Astrid up with the highest of morals when she was of age. Until that time, he was at the least, an excellent father, always there for her and willing to play. He was never the kind to promote barbies to her, but instead, dancing in the living room, playing tag or hide and seek, that she can now see as prior soldier games.
He never meant to deprive her of normality. He wanted her to be a daughter and enjoy being a girl, but they did start training at a young age to assure she could protect herself as a woman that would jump to villains and convicts most wanted list. And more importantly, to prevent being used as a weakness against her father. When that reality hit, she prioritized training to not only look after herself but citizens of the world. And slowly a girl developed into a strategic soldier.
{History}
Astrid never felt robbed of her childhood, so Steve was never as in debt as he made out to be. To her, her path came naturally. It filled her with a sense of purpose, accomplishment and pride. Pretty quickly, the introduction of the academy popped up. Steve was informed by Stark of the great creation in which he exchanged a worrisome glance to Astrid. "You don't have to go if you don't want." All the while Stark's gaze was trained on her and gesturing out the door. Astrid confirmed she would go and represent the first avenger who was still alive and kicking. And find new sources of motivation and new training techniques.

Then, buried in the west, is her bedroom. Large, delicate and simple.
Her penthouse is always kept in tidy condition.
