Solemn and haunted in appearance, Christian Kasady reflects an intense, inner turmoil that threatens to surface each and every day. Ragged and worn from this stark reality, he looks pasty and sometimes sickly, as if he doesn't get enough Sun. Much to his dismay he looks alot like his father, lanky, scrawny and with burning ginger hair, the very image of famed serial killer, Cletus Kasady. Luckily for him he does have more freckles than his father and he has grown his hair long, just to distance himself. Yet his eyes, are the same empty eyes as his father, which frightens him of what could be.

M A R K I N G S
He has no tattoos or piercings since the Symbiote simply repairs any damage done to his skin. Making it even more difficult to differentiate himself from his father.

It's hard to know which thoughts are mine.

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯

Haunted ✫ Unstable ✫ Conflicted ✫ Murderous

Being the product of a dysfunctional home life and uncertain future, Christian's personality reflects that same discord and conflict within himself. Often quiet and remote from the rest of the world, the young man struggles to discern whether he's seeing life through his eyes or through the Symbiotes. Sometimes these inner struggles boil over into the real world in the form of rage and violence. Yet, Christian curiously manages to refrain from homicidal violence, despite the ever present urge to act as such. He doesn't like to show his aggression in front of others and will often remove himself from social situations when his urges arise.

Despite all the anger, pain, and fear that adorns his face it belies are more purer nature. A nature that genuinely wishes to be good and not at all special. A want to disappear into anonymity and become a regular citizen of the world. Yet the Carnage Symbiote has other, more sinister, plans for Christian. It wishes to continue the legacy of bloodshed and chaos that his father committed when they were still bonded. The Symbiote floods Christian with the thoughts and images his father experienced in life, pushing him ever closer to insanity. This, coupled with Christian's own mental illness, makes him volatile and unpredictable. This causes the very real fear that he may one day go postal and become the killing machine the Symbiote believes him to be.

P O W E R S
✫ Constituent Matter Manipulation - The most obvious power that is unique to this particular Symbiote. Kasady can morph sections of his body, such as his hands or feet, into bladed weaponry such as spikes, knives, or axes. Kasady can also detach these bladed weaponry if he chooses to. For example, he often forms spikes that he expels from his body. The weaponry, however, disintegrates after being separated from his body after a period of about 30 seconds.
✫ Constituent Matter Generation - Kasady can generate tentacle-like appendages from various parts of his body, which he often uses either in combat or locomotion.
✫ Spider Powers - Like Venom before him, the Carnage Symbiote is able to replicate some of Spider-Man's powers, such as wall-crawling and web-slinging.
✫ Symbiote-Sense - A sort of Spider-Sense, that the Carnage Symbiote possesses. The Symbiote is able to relay information from every angle of it's body by giving Christian the power to "see" out of every bit of his Symbiote.
✫ Superhuman Condition - The Symbiote grants Christian superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, stamina, and durability.
✫ Regenerative Healing Factor - Despite this, however, it is possible to injure him. Kasady is able to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissues much faster and more extensively than an ordinary human. Kasady is also immune to the effects of all Earthly diseases and infections as long as he remains bonded with the Symbiote.
✫ Immunity to Spider-Sense - Due to the Carnage symbiote being a child of the Venom symbiote, Carnage can't be detected by Spider-Man's Spider-Sense. He is also undetectable to the Venom Symbiote's senses.
✫ Camouflage - The symbiote possesses limited shape-shifting abilities in the sense that it can immediately change itself to appear as any type of clothing or garment that Kasady wishes

A B I L I T I E S
✫ Homicidal Urges - While Christian works hard to resist them, in combat they help to make him an erratic and dangerous opponent.
✫ Adaptive - The Symbiote helps Christian to adapt to changes in the environment very easily.
✫ Creativity - Christian is a little more imaginative with his powers unlike his father.

✫ Fire - The Symbiote is extremely vulnerable to fire or anything else that generates intense heat, even to a greater degree than the Venom Symbiote.
✫ Sonics - The Symbiote is also vulnerable to sonic based attacks, although to a lesser degree than the Venom Symbiote.
✫ Unbalanced - Suffering from a much more realized version of dissociative identity disorder, Christian often wrestles with the many thoughts and voices in his mind. This can be exploited to either inhibit the Symbiote or encourage it.

Christian Kasady, the son of infamous serial killer, Cletus Kasady. Mind you, Cletus wasn't present in his son's life, having a brief stint with his mother to be. This was all before Cletus would be tried and thrown in prison for life, where by happenstance, would share a cell with Eddie Brock. His mother hadn't realized she had slept with such a psychopath being a prostitute, she sees a lot of men. Although surprisingly, even after learning of the madman's identity she kept their son. She saw it as a blessing, seeing that Cletus hadn't decided to chop her up into a million pieces. This encounter had caused her to turn a new leaf and give up prostitution.

She raised Christian inside a religious household, sort of like her own. Except she wouldn't be as horribly strict as her mother and father. For a time, it was nice that was until she found difficulty finding a job to support them both. That was when she ended up marrying her long time boyfriend who had a decent paying job. Unfortunately for them both he was abusive only using them for the financial gain he would receive. Not only would he beat his wife but also Christian and was verbally abrasive. He didn't seem them as family and would often show up late after work and sometimes not at all. Yet pushing the Son of Carnage was not a wise decision. For Christian the psychological issues that his biological father had, would begin to surface within him. Then one night after a particularly bad argument when his mother accused his stepfather of cheating, Christian without thinking, brutally murdered the man.

This would lead to a massive change in his life. His mother may have been a prostitute but she wasn't an idiot. The life insurance on her husband helped to finance them, especially the therapy and medicine to help balance out her son. While she was thankful for his intervention in what could have been her death, she did grow fearful of Christian becoming the next Cletus Kasady. Her fears would come true. Cletus, now known as Carnage, faced his final battle with Spider-Man. After a massive inferno on an oil rig caught Carnage in the blaze, he was finally separated from the Symbiote as the oil covered alien had no choice but to burn away. The Symbiote's final act was to separate itself from Cletus to save his life. Cletus was brought in and by the state of New York, sentenced him to death by lethal injection. When he was finally executed his body reacted as what looked like blood poured from the poures of his skin. Yet it wasn't blood, it was the Symbiote! A piece of itself lived on inside Cletus's blood cells but was forced to evacuate before it could fully reform. The Symbiote escaped as it traveled through out New York looking for a new host.

The Symbiote however could not, would not, choose any old host. It's connection to Cletus was far to deep, too embedded in the Symbiote's genetic makeup that no one, other than a Kasady would do. Knowing the blood of it's beloved host so well, it sought out someone whose blood was closely related to Cletus's. It would easily find one such Human that could fit that requirement, his own flesh and blood, son! The Symbiote crawled into Christian's bedroom one night as it eagerly bonded with it's new host. Instantaneously, Christian was flooded with the thoughts and memories of both Cletus and the Symbiote. He learned who he was that night and who he was to become. It was the worst night of his life. His mother woke up to the sound of his screams as she went to investigate. Christian underwent his first transformation into Carnage, now fully reformed, thanks to the youthful vitality found in his blood. Without self-control, Christian savagely murdered his own mother than night, and several others in their apartment complex. After the Symbiote had it's fill, Christian was left with the memories.

He disappeared after that, seeking help. He found it in Spider-Man. Peter listened to Christian's plight and saw him as another victim rather than a foe. Christian wanted to be separated and Peter knew how to do just that. The Carnage Symbiote however had other plans. Angry that the Son of Cletus would so readily reject him, the Symbiote did everything in it's power to be permanently bonded. It did that by connecting directly to his bloodstream. Any attempts at removal would kill the host. If the Symbiote can't have him, then no one else can. Peter dismayed, was unsure of what to do, now that the Symbiote had bonded with it's host in such a way. It was then he decided to send him somewhere he could at least feel a little normal. The Descendants Academy. Packed with special medicines to help fight Christian's ever present homicidal urges. He now attends the famed school in hopes that one day he could be free or perhaps even control his terrible power for good.

It's simple, not extravagant, it's what I wanted.

In Christian's words...
I wasn't looking for anything fancy. I didn't want to be treated like I am someone special, if anything I'm something less than that. Still it is nice for what it is, better than I've ever lived in. If only I could find the joy in it...however I cannot.

There he sat. Alone within the meager security and comfort his penthouse seemed to bring him. Today, was a bad day for him and the reason for his absence in today's class. Very early today, the crack of dawn to be exact, Christian awoke screaming from another series of nightmarish memories. The Symbiote hungered for it's next kill, to feel and taste that sweet and sticky nectar known as blood. As he awoke to the visions of him slaughtering any and all people within this building and beyond.

He could see the various dismembered, bloodied, and disemboweled bodies of faculty and students alike, pilled at his feet. The Symbiote laughed in unholy ecstasy at the carnage he had caused. Carnage, that is what it calls itself. A name fit for such a demented and depraved duo like Cletus and the Symbiote. He had never met his father, but he could have never hoped to be so close to him as he is now. The memories and thoughts played like episodes of a television series in his head. The countless massacres and atrocities they had committed together. Christian can recall perfectly, every scream, every face painted with that unmistakable emotion of pure horror.

Christian faces that horror everyday, but none so clear and none so guilty as the murders he himself committed. He remembers as clear as day the night he brutally and savagely killed his own mother. The very act broke the poor child but no, that was not the end of it. Everyone in that complex died that night. The media called it a copycat killer's pledge to continue the legacy of Carnage. The media and the police had a field day counting up all of those victims. The interior of the building looked like a damn horror show. Bodies piled high and blood flowed like water in a river, drenching every floor in the building.

Now, he's here, resisting the temptation to do it all over again. Albeit, there are superpowered beings in this building, apt enough to defend themselves. Yet, the Symbiote fears not these fools, in fact it welcomes the opportunity to show them that they are not untouchable, that they are not invincible, that they are not the apex predators, no, they are all prey, all lambs ready for the slaughter! He felt the urge beginning to well up inside of him. He took the last of his medicine the other day and his next shipment was late. He had not gone on this long with out it. He feared he would lose control, that Carnage will have his day of bloodshed and murder.

He then heard the voice of his father, as Cletus stood within the fractured psyche of his mind. He called out to him, he said, "Kill for me my son, kill for Daddy, kill, kill, kill, kill, KILL, KILL, KILL, KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL!!!" Christian jumped out of his bed shouting at the top of his lungs, "NO! I WON'T DO IT! I WON'T, I WON'T, I WON'T!!!" Then his father chimed in as the Symbiote slowly began to cover his entire body, "Yes you will, because you....are.....CARNAGE!!!" He shouted as he transformed into the deranged monster. Christian screamed as the red and black alien mass was beginning to appear on his body. It was then, at J.A.R.V.I.S.'S alarm, that Phil Coulson busted in with security, his medicine in hand. Christian grabbed it out of his hand and without hesitation he jammed the needle into his arm. The tendrils subsided as he regained control over his mind.

Image

It was then that the voice of his father began to fade. "You can't resist me forever my boy...you will kill for me...whether you want to...or not....," His voice trailed off with the sound of maniacal laughter. Christian broke down into tears. Since that tumultuous morning, Christian has sat alone on his floor, back against the wall. He was excused from participation that day underneath his special circumstances. Although Alfred and Phil have told him before, that it might be good for him to face what he is someday and learn to control these powers rather than the other way around. Still, that is easier said than done, considering powers don't normally have a mind of it's own. Therefor conventional methods taught here aren't always going to work in his particular case. Besides it was probably for the best, considering the Symbiote's control would have been stronger if Christian was in physical peril. It's the Symbiote's natural reaction to defend it's host against any and all threats, whether the host voluntarily uses the Symbiote or not.

He sat there unsure if staying here is even a good idea anymore. He doesn't want to be responsible for any more murders, especially if they happen to be the murders of the beloved children of the world's foremost superheroes. Could Spider-Man even save him from their retribution? It was an unpleasant thought that he had the option to no longer think about it. It was then that J.A.R.V.I.S. announced over the intercom a peculiar message. Wren was having a party. Despite what seemed like an open invitation to all, "ass hats", Christian doubted that included him. Who would want someone so volatile at a party, they may fear he could explode at any moment. If that was the truth, he wouldn't blame them, he doesn't even want to be in his own skin right now.

Semi Formal

Enzo took his own sweet time getting ready. He decided since it was a "party" he should dress for the occasion, even though he always tended to dress to impress. Going against his usual nature, he decided not to where all green and elected to tone it down a bit, and only wore a green sweater. After what seemed to be way too much time choosing an outfit, Enzo went to his bathroom to shave what little stubble had accumulated along his jaw and moose his short hair. Before heading out he spritzed himself with a dash of cologne and tossed on a fedora.

For some reason, Enzo always seemed to have impeccable timing. He arrived at Wren's pent house where J.A.R.V.I.S. made some comment about the mandatory tequila shot to enter. As he went to grab one he saw Junior head over towards Mathias, and it didn't look good. "Let's make it 2." Enzo downed the first shot, then chased it with another before slipping into the apartment. No doubt the festivities hadn't completely gotten underway due to the lack of people, and the host. But no matter, it would liven up once the hostess joined the party.

Enzo took off his hat with his right hand while using the left to slick back his hair. After placing the hat back on top of his head, he adjusted his cardigan while making his way towards the psychopath and the screamer. Nathaniel reached the pair just before Enzo did, only picking up the last bit of the conversation. "I've no fight with you, or your paranoia, I am very much not interested in you or Enzo. I like people I can trust." Enzo put his hands up innocently, "Woah woah woah now gents." He places one hand on Mathias' shoulder and another on Junior's before he could walk away. "There's no need to fight over little 'ole me... There's already a shortage of attractive men in the world, do we really need to make it less?"

Party dress

"Why doesn't anyone want to catch me when I'm such a great catch?" Jai said to her as she spun around. After her comment about going to her party, Wren then added, "Keep telling yourself that handsome... Self appreciation is key." She pointed to him while making a teasing face and winking. Alex wasted no time hoping up and moving over to her side. "God, for being one of the fastest people alive... You're slow. We're going to be late to my own party." Wren complained towards Jai.

"Oh babe, you know I just can't resist alcohol and hot girls." Alex said while Jai finally joined them, quickly responding, "What about me? I'm pretty hot and you could pretend I'm a girl with the lights off." Wren rested her elbow on Alex's shoulder, leaning in to speak quietly in her ear. "Who needs to pretend?" As they all started heading down the hallway, Wren stopped in her tracks, snapping her fingers. "Damn." She groaned as they reached the elevator. She pressed the button for her floor, but also a second floor. "A party isn't a party until you have a blood thirsty alter ego present."

When the elevator stopped at a different floor, Wren stepped out but turned back to face Alex and Jai. "I'm just gonna go grab Christian. Meet you up there!" She winked towards them before heading down the hall. As Wren made her way down the corridor, she glanced down at her clothing causing herself to freeze mid walk. "Shit I'm not even dressed for a party." It only took her a second of face scrunching thought before she held up her index finger. "Wait a minute... Hey you! Yes you! The one who thinks typing out my life is more important than homework or getting out of your mom's basement." Wren steps forward, "That's really pathetic you know? Move out and do something with your life." She whispered... To no one. "Anyways, moving on... If you're going to make me have a party the least thing you could do is make me look like I'm going to a party." Wren holds out her arms while pursing her lips as she waits.

A second or 2 pass, then in a snap her entire appearance changed. Wren was freshly showered, wearing a dress and even stilettos. "Not bad," She nods her head, "I could pass as female." She goes to walk down the hall, only making it a few steps before her ankles and legs start wobbling like a new born deer. "Fuck... Jesus christ... Did you have to make the heels so damn high? I'm a superhero, not a giraffe!" In the blink of an eye, the heels disappear and replaced with a pair of high tops. "Look at that... You're learning. You may make a fine writer yet... Once you move out of your mom's house... Fucking loser."

Now that Wren was done talking to herself, and the imaginary forces she believed controlled her she made her way to Christian's door. She raised her hand to knock on the door. After a moment or 2 of impatient waiting, she slowly cracks the door, peaking her head in. "Where's my favorite freckled fellow?" Not seeing him, Wren let herself in and wondered through his penthouse until she came upon him sitting there all alone. She propped herself against the doorframe giving him a slight wave with a smile. "You better be coming to my party." Wren walked across the room and sat beside him. "Don't make me drink alone."

Jack laughed at Julia's quips about him and his life. He wasn't ashamed or embarrassed, it takes alot for him to feel like that anymore. Not to say that he isn't ever shameful, it just depends on what causes said shame. He continued to walk with her as he formulated his retorts. "Well, if you did that's why I have medicine from Space! Cuz, trust me, Aliens get them too." He laughed. Speaking of outer space, Julia commented about the wild parties he must of had out in the cosmos. This time, Jack laughed a longing laugh. "I wish I could say that I do...I mean I traveled the Galaxy with Dad for a while and saw some cool stuff, but I was still just a kid...he didn't take me to the party scenes. I remember spending a lot of time in the Milano, with Uncle Rocket and Uncle Groot!" Jack then made a hardy laugh, remembering the things the Guardians did to make him laugh. "You'd be surprised how much of a family a raccoon and a tree could be...I sure do miss those guys." He said with a hint of sadness.

Jack then stopped when Julia stopped, processing what he said about simulations. She sounded upset, he'd hate to be her Dad right now. "Yeah, sure, no problem." He answered back as they resumed walking. "Haha, No, I won't faint...at least not anymore...," He nervously chuckled as he rubbed his head. The bleeding had stopped but it feels like there will be a huge knot in his head by tomorrow. He then rubbed his arm after she poked him, "Hey!" he then laughed. He then looked at her after her act and only smiled. "Awww," He said, "I was really hoping you meant that. That way I could have you announce me when I enter the party, y'know for dramatic effect?" He said with a chuckle. She then pronounced would she believed would come to the party in a French accent, it was then Jack smiled.

"Hey you want to see something cool? Speak to me again, in French, and I will understand every word perfectly, even though I don't know a single thing about the language. And please, don't make it easy." He said with a grin, waiting to see if she'll do it. It was then they came up to the elevator as Jack began to press the buttons.

Christian wasn't in any means, ready to see any guests. In fact he didn't even want any, they either do one of two things. Treat him as if he was some sort of time bomb. Everyone was so careful as to not say or do anything to him fearing he may go all slasher on them. Yet there are the more bolder ones, the ones that think he could be used for their own personal gain. Where those his options, fear or be a tool? Hardly the social outlet that is conducive to him becoming a healthy participant in society. It was better that he was away from everyone else. Then, came Wren. He found her annoying, for the life of him he couldn't understand why she bothered him so? Everyone else is content that he sticks to himself but not this girl. What is her deal?

He didn't look up to her when she came in, calling for him. Not even when she appeared next to him. It was then she started talking to him, as she sat down next to him. He then looked at her, with a sad yet pestered looked on his face, "What are you doing here? You're not seriously telling me that you're here to take me to some party...," He spoke as he trailed off looking over to his bare feet. He wasn't really dressed for the occasion, he was in a white, button down shirt, and black pants. His long, red hair fell over his face as he brushed it aside. "...I-I don't know about that Wren...it doesn't sound like that would be a good idea." He said as he looked over to the wall across from them.

A cold shiver ran all the way up Jai's spine at the sound of Christian's name. He didn't even realize Wren said she was going to meet him he simply reacted by grabbing Alex and high tailing it as far away from that monster as possible. Jai was terribly afraid of the guy and his hero instinct told him to run away and protect his best friend since the other one had that cool healing thing to keep her safe. "I think we're safe." Jai commented with a heroic grin on his face like he just saved Alex's life. He fixed his hoodie by zipping it up since it was flapping around everywhere while they stood there in awkward science. "So... Race?" Jai finally filled the silence with a question that he soon realized was dumb after it left his mouth. A race between them wasn't really fair unless Jai was blind folded and he'd rather not go back to the infirmary again.

"Nevermind." Jai said this with one of his light hearted laughs. "Let's just go to Wren's party before she drags us there." He reached his hand out and waited for her to grasp it. "I'll give you a lift speedy style." Once she finally took hold of his hand he hoisted her up onto his back before taking off down the halls and up a few flights of stairs to stop at Wren's door and be informed they needed to take shots. Jai didn't let Alex get down which would probably end badly if she got annoyed or angry which she did often. For now Alex was perched on his back while he downed the shot and ran into the room bouncing Alex around hoping to bring out the little girl he remembered from so many years ago.

Mathias was quick to smile at Nathaniel's new presence beside Jr. "Don't you think two against one is pretty unfair, Nathan?" Nathaniel stood straighter once he was addressed. He was already a giant in the room towering easily over everyone there and his posture only made his huge stature even bigger. Mathias's remark towards him changed as quickly as that smile appeared on his face when Nathaniel came over to do his awful job. "Sorry, I know you're just looking out for him." More of like doing what he was forced into. "But if he starts a fight with me, I will fight back." The poor guy just didn't understand but it wasn't like Nathaniel was going to stand there and explain it. Nathaniel just hoped no fight would break because he wasn't in the mood to have to hurt one of the few people in this school he didn't completely despise.

That was when Enzo joined the conversation and Nathaniel responded by rolling his eyes. "I've no fight with you, or your paranoia, I am very much not interested in you or Enzo. I like people I can trust." At least he was smart enough not to choose guys based on appearance like most idiots. Though Enzo's remark ruined the moment. "There's no need to fight over little 'ole me... There's already a shortage of attractive men in the world, do we really need to make it less?" Yes. Nathaniel thought. Starting with you and Jr. Nathaniel ignored the rest of the conversation between the three when a scarlet streak came through the door with another one of the few people Nathaniel could stand, Alex Todd though the fact that she was with Jai made Nathaniel avoid going over there. Instead he walked away form the little trio and took a seat at what seemed to him like a bar.

When Christian finally looked at her he gave a sad and aggravated look. "You know if I had a dollar for everytime someone in this academy looked at me like that." She pointed to his face, pursing her lips slightly. "What are you doing here? You're not seriously telling me that you're here to take me to some party..." Wren watched as his gaze fall to his bare feet. "Well not dressed like that, no. But that's an easy fix, that I'd gladly assist you with." She wasn't meaning getting him naked or anything along those lines, she just meant helping him find an outfit.

"...I-I don't know about that Wren...it doesn't sound like that would be a good idea." Christian didn't seem to want to look at her as he spoke. Wren sighed, taking on a more serious tone. "You stay cooped up in this pent house too much. I know you're scared of... it. But what's the point of living if you never actually live?" She clapped her hands together softly. "Plus fuck anyone who's scared of you, people suck anyways. Everyone here can't stand me... But I don't let that get me down." That was a partial lie. She didn't like that so many people found her extremely annoying, but that wasn't really something she could help. Wren comes by it honestly from her father. Sometimes it bothered her more than others but she never showed it.

"I think it'd be good for you to get out... And if anything happens?" Wren shrugged her shoulders. "Well... I'll take care of it. He can't kill me." She then leaned towards him to whisper in a secret like manner. "Not unless he tried really really hard." With that, she moved to her feet and walked over to his closet. Wren fingered through his clothing picking out an outfit and setting it down next to him. "Well I won't make you go. But if you do decide to come." She points to the outfit. "You'd look killer in that."

Wren smiled slightly towards him and gave Christian a slight hand wave before seeing herself out of his penthouse. Once in the hall she slowly made her way down towards the elevator and pressed the button for it. Unfortunately for her it seemed to be stopping at nearly every floor which was probably her fault since she decided to throw a party. She could take the stairs but she decided to be lazy since she was wearing a dress. So instead she stood by the elevator doors, patiently waiting for it to come up to the level she was on.

Christian listened to Wren speak, first disregarding her attempts at comedy. Yet, she decided to act a little more serious and more sympathetic. Christian listened as she voiced her opinions about what would be good for him. It's true, he does stay cooped up too long in his apartment. He wasn't sure if he did that to protect himself or them. It just seemed to be better for everyone else that he remains alone. Still he supposes he could appreciate her attempts at trying to ease him into feeling some sort of comfort.

He wasn't sure if he should still go. Even though Wren may have a point about him being unable to kill her. It just leaves him thinking about that big what if she's wrong? She may be able to take a lot of punishment but the Symbiote is relentless and sadistic. It'll probably love the challenge of testing her capacity for pain, and her capacity for life. To see how long it would take to whittle her down into nothing. Can he overcome that fear? Like she said herself, he is afraid.

After her little pep talk she decided to rummage around his closet looking for some party clothes. She created an outfit and placed it near him, then leaving with her open invitation for him to join. He did appreciate the fact she wasn't forcing him to do anything that he didn't want to do. With that she left and as he watched her leave he turned his head back to the outfit. "I would look killer in that? Those were some poor choice of words." Christian thought to himself. "Should I go? It didn't sound like Wren was being disingenuous. Maybe she really does want me at her party? No, that's stupid! Of course she doesn't want me there! She's probably doing it just to humiliate me or maybe it was a dare!? No, Wren maybe a lot of things but she isn't a douche. She would never do something that heartless...well, I think she wouldn't." Christian thought as he let out a sigh.

He then looked at the outfit continuing his train of thought. "Well, I did take my medicine today...I should be in control. Maybe nothing won't happen. Besides, if I don't go I will certainly not hear the end of it from Wren." Christian groaned as he took the outfit and went into the bathroom to change.

In his bathroom he was changed into a nice greyish blue denim jacket with a darker shirt and jeans. He looked at himself in the mirror as he turned the faucet on. He splashed water on his face as he mentally prepared himself. "I can do this...it won't be bad, nothing will happen, nothing will happen." His hands began to shake. "Shit! I'm beginning to shake and I haven't even left my damn apartment!" He continued to think to himself. "Just relax and calm down, the Symbiote reacts to my negative emotions...I can't continue to give him more. I must think positive, think positive, think positive." After another splash to the face, he shut off the faucet as he looked up into the bathroom mirror, only to see behind him a bloodstained room littered with bodies from his apartment killings. He shouted as he turned around quickly to see the same, old, familiar bathroom. "Oh God, I hope I'm making the right decision here." He thought, gasping for air.

He managed to collect his bearing as he left his apartment and started down the hall. All the while hoping he will have an uneventful evening. At least Wren can't say that he didn't attempt to go to her party. Whether he will stay there long, now that was a different story. It was then he saw Wren waiting by the elevators. He had hoped she would be off by now, guess he isn't that lucky. He came up to her and didn't say a word but did give her this look of "I can't believe I'm doing this." He hoped the elevator would get here soon and without anyone else in it, besides Wren. Oh God, he did not look forward to an awkward elevator ride, oh God no. Please let it be anything but that.

"There's no need to fight over little 'ole me... There's already a shortage of attractive men in the world, do we really need to make it less?" There was no stopping Junior's wicked grin. He had no problem with a fight breaking out. All it would take is a snap of his fingers to make his loyal dog keep him safe from the little bird. Enzo's concern was of no real importance to him but Junior was still quick to throw his arm around him. "You're actually concerned for my well being? You do have a heart, babe." He joked with him when Mathias decided to finally break away and Junior was kind enough to give his boyfriend a quick kiss. Might as well give him some affection for his brief concern.

That was when the scarlet speedster came tumbling in with Alex in tow. He wanted to stick his foot out and trip the little idiot but he was smart enough never to come near him. Junior watched the two interact and saw how happy Alex was about it. Junior wanted to ruin that. Though for now he grabbed a lonely bottle of scotch and chugged half of it down before handing it over to Enzo. "So are we going to play a little game of seven minutes in heaven or stand around here like two gorgeous models ready to be crowned king and queen at the approaching dance?"

Alex couldn't help but snicker at Wren's remark about Jai while he desperately tried to get her attention. She admired his dedication but Jai was nothing more than an annoying little brother. She'd let him down enough times though it seemed that lately he was finally showing less interest in her than usual which Alex was incredibly grateful for. She had her eye on someone else anyways.

Wren had left their little group to go fine the psychopathic Christian which frightened Jai enough to grab her and run off into the other direction. Alex was hardly afraid of the young man. She honestly preferred his presence over Junior's At least she knew what she was in for with Christian. But Jai being the blend of hero and coward did not want to risk any chances near him so now here they were on the other side of the school instead of Wren's party. Alex wasn't entirely against this but she was a bit annoyed that Jai thought she needed saving.

"I think we're safe." He made a point to grin heroically and stand a taller even though Alex was still taller than him. She rolled her eyes at his antics while he stood there awkwardly until he finally suggesting a rather stupid idea, "So... Race?" Alex arched her eyebrow at him. "Are you seriously suggested that? How abut we have a contest of how far I can punch you then since you're feeling more dumb than usual." It seemed like something mean to say to him but she didn't entirely care.

Jai realized what he said and took it back. "Nevermind. Let's just go to Wren's party before she drags us there." After this, his hand was outstretched towards hers to grasp. She looked at it and then back at him wondering what his angle was. "I'll give you a lift speedy style." Alex hesitated but she took it and climbed onto his back while he dashed tem into Wren's party but not before taking a shot first. Jai didn't let her down while he bounced and ran all across the room which actually made Alex smile and laugh for bit as finally loosened up for a moment.

She eventually let herself down and stopped at the bar for a moment to grab some shots. She saw Nathaniel sitting there with Frankie and decided to converse with them for a moment as she piled shot glasses onto a tray. Her arm rested on Nathaniel's shoulder while she addressed both of them. "The infamously silent brooding Bane is talking to a girl? Who are you and what have you done with my lab partner?" She smirked as she took the tray and began to walk away but not before commenting to Frankie. "Make sure he doesn't drink too much. I need him for our chem lab tomorrow." She walked off and back over to Jai t start handing shots out to the people in the party.

Enzo quickly rolled his eyes, sighing as he saw the grin cross Junior's lips. What in the hell did he say to warrant that? He wasted no time in throwing his arm around Enzo, pulling him closer. "You're actually concerned for my well being? You do have a heart, babe." He looked over at Junior, pursing his lips slightly. "Thats... Not what I meant. It's ok... Feelings are hard." As Mathias walked away, Junior then pulled Enzo in for a kiss, presumably because he was 'concerned'. He let out a slight sigh through his nose as he kissed him back.

After the kiss, Enzo separated himself from Junior slightly and leaned against the back of a sofa. He was never one for the whole PDA thing. Junior wasted no time in grabbing a bottle of scotch and downed half of it before handing it off to Enzo. "Thanks?" His brows furrowed slightly as he took a swig. "So are we going to play a little game of seven minutes in heaven or stand around here like two gorgeous models ready to be crowned king and queen at the approaching dance?" Enzo scoffed, rolling his eyes while holding the bottle back towards Junior. "Why? So you have an excuse to get pissed off at anyone who gets put with me while you whore yourself around? No thanks."

Enzo pushed off the sofa and made his way to the back of the penthouse. In the farthest corner there was an untouched billiards table that beckoned for him. He started racking the balls before, chalking the cue and circling the table. Enzo blew on the tip of the cue then leaned over the edge of the table, arching back his arm then driving the cue into the cue ball. The break was perfect sending 3-4 balls into various pockets about the table.

Wren rocked back and forth upon her feet while clapping her hands together as she waited for the sluggish elevator. She caught movement out of the corner of her eye which drew her attention to seeing Christian approach her. A smile quickly graced her lips as he gave her a wary look. Wren side stepped towards him, hooking her arm in his while lightly bumping her shoulders with his. "Told you that outfit would look good."

The elevator finally dinged and Wren stepped in, lightly tugging Christian along with her before pressing the button for her floor. As they waited while it took them up, she looked over at him. "So what do you do in your penthouse all the time?" It was an honest question. She would die from boredom if she had to be in her penthouse alone all the time. "I don't know if you know this but I actually don't sleep. Whole superhuman stamina thing... I mean I can if I'm exerted beyond my limits. But never mind that." Wren waved the thought off with her free hand. "I spend my nights reading. Most evenings I can get through an entire book." Wren figured Christian may be inclined to answer her question if she answered it herself, first.

Another bing signaled that they had reached Wren's floor, she lead him out with her arm still hooked in his. But she came to a stop a few feet away from her door. Wren looked over at him, giving him a reassuring smile. "Remember... Fuck everyone." After a second she added. "Not literally... Figuratively. If anyone has a problem with you here... I'll just go annoy them to death." With that she once again lead him towards her apartment, taking 2 shots but instead took Christian's for him. She assumed that alcohol doesn't really aid his condition. Wren the jumped through the doorway raising her arms in the air, "THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" As if on cue, the second she entered her room house lights went down, party lights lit up and music began to blast.

"Thanks." Nathaniel said in his usual grunt. Frankie gave a small smile and a head nod as he thank her. She decided to take a seat on the stool beside him as he ordered a shot and downed it. She was merely looking at her hands when she felt his gaze upon her, causing her to look over at him. "You look really nice too.." Frankie smiled softly at the compliment and at the realization of his Spanish accent. "Uh, as usual." She wasn't expecting that part of the compliment which made her blush slightly and smile down at her hands as he went back to his usual silent self. "Thank you." Frankie said quietly under her breath as she peeked over at him from the corner of her eyes.

Frankie was about to say something about Nathaniel's accent, but just as she turned to face him and parted her lips to speak, someone else beat her to it. "You should talk more often. Spanish accents are nice." The smile faded from her lips slightly as her gaze drifted back to her hands. Frankie crossed her right leg over her left, lightly bouncing her right leg as she stayed quiet. In on time at all it seemed another person had something to say to him. "Bane, you look nice."

Shifting in her seat, Frankie ordered herself a strawberry margarita while everyone seemed to be approaching them... Well him. No one was talking to her. That was until Alex approached. Frankie was about to get up, not wanting to compete for someone's attention until Alex addressed them both. "The infamously silent brooding Bane is talking to a girl? Who are you and what have you done with my lab partner?" Frankie turned on her stool partially so that her body was facing Nathaniel, while her head turned towards Alex, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "Make sure he doesn't drink too much. I need him for our chem lab tomorrow." Frankie's smile grew. "Have you seen this guy?" She lightly bumps his leg with her foot. "He could drink every drop of alcohol in this building and still be sober enough to drive." Her gaze flashed over towards Nathaniel as she grinned towards him.

Alex grabbed her shots and disappeared back into the thick of the party just as Frankie's drink arrived. She pulled one of the strawberries from the toothpick in her drink and ate it in a bite or two. She then took a sip of her drink. When it finally seemed that people may have stopped showing up every two seconds, Frankie thought she might be able to get a word out now. "So did you grow up in a Spanish speaking country? Or did you just inherit the accent from your parents?" Frankie was definitely intrigued by his accent, and wasn't going to reiterate what someone else already said about it sounding nice, because it did. Any man with an accent is easy on the ears, but she was more curious as to how he came to have one. Her hand grabbed the second strawberry in her drink and offered it to him. "Strawberry?"

It was fun hanging out with Alex. She danced around with him and even smiled and laughed. It;d been so long since he'd seen her loosen up like this which was a lot of fun. He missed this Alex. This was the Alex he loved when they were young so it was nice to see her back after everything that's happen. She disappeared away for a bit to interact with Bane and Frankie which actually kind of bothered Jai a bit but he didn't say anything. Instead he searched the crowd trying to find his simulation partner with no luck. Alex soon returned with a tray full of shots and the two began going around the room handing them out to the attendees of the party though Jai made sure to skip Jr.

"THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" Jai practically bounced along with the lights as soon as she entered the room. He sped over to her and handed her a shot while he took the other. Alcohol didn't affect him that much though he probably should be aware of his limit. 'Hey, Wren. Did you see Bane? He actually spoke and now all these girls are surrounding him. Why doesn't that work for me? I'm sooooo great and attractive like have you seen my abs?" He still had a bounce as he spoke and then he finally noticed him. "OH SHIT!" Jai ran and coward behind Alex for protection. "Please don't eat me."

Nathaniel smiled at Frankie's reaction to his compliment. He wasn't someone with the best social skills so it was nice seeing that he didn't entirely mess up around someone he actually didn't despise. That moment faded quickly unfortunately as Nathaniel began receiving unwanted attentions from other women that were crowding him at the bar. This caused Nathaniel to shift uneasily in his stool when Liz arrived first to make a comment on his accent. "You should talk more often. Spanish accents are nice." Nathaniel didn't really acknowledge her but it was hard not to feel embarrassed.

Another girl came over to the bar and commented on Natahniel's appearance. "Bane, you look nice." Nathaniel didn't respond but he did shift around again and hoped he didn't break the stool. He did his best to stay focused on Frankie since she was the one he was originally attempting to have a conversation with her even though she obviously would be saying more than he could. That was when Alex came by and put an arm on his shoulder. She was the only one to address both him and Frankie. "The infamously silent brooding Bane is talking to a girl? Who are you and what have you done with my lab partner?" He furrowed his brows and saw Frankie chuckle before Alex spoke directly to her. "Make sure he doesn't drink too much. I need him for our chem lab tomorrow."

"Have you seen this guy?" Nathaniel watched her as she spoke his eyes often watching how her lips moved with each words and the way her face seemed to radiate with bubbly energy opposed to his dark and brooding aura. "He could drink every drop of alcohol in this building and still be sober enough to drive." She looked back over at him and smiled. Nathaniel held eye contact with her while the smile infected him to do the same. Alex's movement distracted him for a moment as he watched her walk away and hand out shots to those in the party. It was nice seeing her so happy for once. It was something he rarely saw after what Jr did. He wished she was like that more often.

"So did you grow up in a Spanish speaking country? Or did you just inherit the accent from your parents?" The sound of her sweet voice brought his attention right back to Frankie and fully devoted to her once again."My father is from Santa Prisca." He refered to the Spanish speaking Caribbean island the original Bane hailed from. Nathaniel then switched form English to Spanish for the sake of showing that he's bilingual instead of just having an accent. "Me enseñó comó hablar en inglés y español." He looked at the ground when he spoke this time in hopes of not blushing or stuttering over not being used to talking this much and generally feeling awkward with all this attention.

Ichabod Crane had spent the whole day cooped up in his penthouse that was more of a mad science lab than an actually place for living. He was working on various different experimentations with fear toxins on lab rats along with comparing how venom reacted when combined with different strains of the fear toxins. He recorded each outcome until his alarm went off and Ichabod took a break to inject himself with his daily dose of fear venom. He was perfectly aware there'd be consequences for skipping class but it wasn't like Ichabod actually gave a damn. He had high marks in all his classes and he was more concerned with his experiments than whatever it was they had planned for the day.

J.A.R.V.I.S had been relentless in annoying Ichabod all day during his experiments and even raised his volume after he put headphones on to tune him out. "Mr. Crane, Mr. Wayne wanted me to inform you that you missed an important lesson today and further actions will result in being sent back to Arkham Asylum." Ichabod took off his headpones. "You also will not be allowed to attend the dance coming up." Ichabod rolled his eyes. "Like I fucking care. You can tell 'Mr. Wayne' to suck my dick." He wondered if it were possible for a computer to roll their eyes because he had a feeling that's what J.A.R.V.I.S just did. "Also Ms. Wilson is having a party in her quarters." Ichabod immediately got up nearly dropping a test tube. "You finally said something I like."

Ichabod quickly changed and left his penthouse for Wren's. He was in the mood to get drunk so the opportunity was perfect. he took the required shot of tequila to get in and was immediately greeted but a diversity of heroes and villains. Jr was with his boy toy Enzo attempting to be a decent partner and failing. Bane was somehow the one surrounded by beautiful women despite being a silent brute. Jai was dancing with the unattainable Alex Todd. And Wren Wilson was making her presence known. This was going to be an exciting night.

Jack laughed as Julia kept up with him in the banter department. That was always fun to bounce of quips with another person. It's also surprising, he didn't believe Julia to be this comedic, guess he was wrong. "Yeah, well they were great babysitters, though Uncle Rocket would never admit it." Jack chuckled. He then looked over to Julia with an amused yet curious look upon his face. "Huh? Jake Feather? I think that's the first time someone joked about my name like that. Hey wait a minute? Since when am I you're PA?" He then chuckled, "Do I at least get payed?" He chuckled some more.

It was then he entered the elevator with Julia over he disagreement of being his personal announcer. Well, didn't hurt to ask. Still the idea of one being magically whipped up sounding interesting. He wasn't quite sure how that would work...despite seeing some amazing technology that's like magic, Magic itself always seemed to maintain it's quality of being mysterious. He doesn't understand it but he isn't a wizard anyway. It was then she decided to get around to answering his question. "Yes, please." He said with a smile. To his delight she did speak French to him and thanks to a certain implant in his neck, he understood her.

"Alright, okay, um, the first thing you said was...I should buy you some dinner at least." Jack spoke as he mulled over the words she spoke for some added effect. "Then the next thing was that if I could understand you, that you'll buy me dinner." He then grinned. "So, what are we having?" He spoke, being cheeky. It was then that Julia responded to the 2 tequila shots being poured right before them. "Oh cool! My kind of admittance fee." He said with a grin as he downed his shot. He then handed Julia hers, "Well, down the hatch, right?" He said with a chuckle, waiting for her to take her shot from him.

It was then that a few people showed up and entered the party before them. First Kari, then Wren and...Him!? "What the hell?" He thought to himself. It was then that another, surprising guest walked right past them, the scary guy. "Again, what the hell?" He was left scratching his head as people seemed to past them by without much notice. "What the hell, what are we? Chopped liver? I mean, I'm like you said, I'm Jonathan Tomas Quill! And you're, Julia Constantine! I mean we're the life of the party, man!" He spoke aloud. "Perhaps we both need magical PAs or some sort of social liaison, sheesh." He said to himself. He then entered the party. "Uh, correction Wren! NOW IT'S A PARTY!!" He shouted over to her as he swaggered on in.

He then got a good look at all the guests and was, confused, by seeing people he didn't think would show. He then whispered over to Julia, "Hey, when they say there is going to be a crazy party, I don't think that was suppose to be taken literally." He said motioning over to Junior, Christian, Enzo and Crane.

"Okay. Say, a tsunami comes and lightning and tornadoes. One at a time. And some freak force makes it target me. What would you do?" Caleb's brows furrowed gently as he thought out some of his options. It was hard to visualize a bizarre series of natural disasters coming after one person. He couldn't imagine it beyond unpleasant and destructive. "I guess I'd have to remove the subject it's targeting first and draw the danger away from civilians and casualties." At least that seemed like the right first step. "From there, we'd have to figure out the source, meanwhile, we try keep each other on our feet and alive. Then our safest bet would be for me to try find mutants or people or gods that can control or manipulate the elements." What a handful of processes it sounded like. He frowned in conclusion. "Was I set up for failure there?" Initially that was what he was after. To make Lilith see she couldn't have a guard dog in anyone, but this competitive need to win side had come out trying to find a solution where he could prevail. "Don’t make me fly your pretty butt out of here." With the late host finally deciding to show to her own party, the music blared out and the lights dimmed. Caleb frowned a little and leaned in towards Lilith to speak near her ear. "And no one would even know."

Kain snapped his fingers continuously in search for some party snacks; peanuts, chips, m&ms, skittles, bread, something to keep his hands busy and pluck at food. He hated to divert the uncomfortable attention Nathaniel was getting, amusing as it was but as he searched the bar he squeezed Liz's shoulder, then passed by casually. It was habit of him to just remind her he was still there. Not only that but how he had saved her life in their sim.

Mathias, all the while was taking back some jagerbombs like he had the intention to go for jagerbomb sculling champ. "Doing any favors for you yet?" Since the bar seemed in endless supply, Kain didn't see Mathias getting cut off at any point. So he'd save him one drink and that could be his good deed done for the day, given he wasn't particularly happy nor satisfied about saving Elizabeth. He snatched the next one from Mathias and held up his finger in defense so the Mr.SongBird didn't act aggressively as he downed it in front of him. "There. Now you're one drink short of liver and kidney problems and making bad decisions. On my watch anyway. Which ends in about..." he silently counted the seconds remaining until the minute shifted then saluted his company with a smirk. "Thanks for the drink."

ImageLooking pass all the bodies in the house and just seeing a room, he was able to find the finger food. Kain stole a bowl away for himself and tucked himself into a dark corner of Wren's penthouse, eyeing the crowds that had decided to make an appearance. Usually, this was Kumiko's kind of job but even she had found company in Astrid. Kain second looked Enzo's solo game of pool in which Kain noticed the good break he had done. That made it all the more tempting to join and show what a real marksman could do but he'd be swarmed in competitors soon enough. Not to mention Kain's lack of enthusiasm towards some riddle entry to play against him.

Then the real party entered. And no it didn't come in the form of the self-proclaimed pretty hyper red-headed girl. It was Ichabod and Christian. The fence sitting psychos just ready to snap."I knew it was going to be a good night."

Christian tensed up as Wren hooked her arm into his. He's not used to people touching him...at least, not anymore. It bothered him that she was so close to him, despite the possible danger. She was either very brave or very foolish, perhaps both. The ability to regenerate from even the most grievous of harm, could make anyone foolhardy to the threat of injury or death. Still, he doesn't believe in pushing your luck and he wished Wren would be a little more cautious.

As he was dragged into the elevator he only shrugged at Wren's compliment over his clothing. As the ride began, Christian listened to Wren ask about what goes on in his apartment, only to segue into what she does in her own apartment. He found the question and conversation itself odd, but he figured that's just how Wren is. He then shrugged. "I don't know...I usually...," Christian found himself a bit stuck, what does he do? "...Uh, I sit around...um, sometimes I read too. I've read a lot actually." He answered feeling awkward as he spoke. He had difficulty looking at her during the conversation, only occasionally giving her a glance.

It was then the elevator ride had stopped as they approached Wren's apartment. Seeing some guests preparing to enter, it was then she did, in her own way, to reassure him. Still he was nervous, and he was beginning to feel that this was a bad idea. As she dragged him along she took two shots of alcohol and lead him in where he saw numerous students partying about. "Great...I didn't expect to see so many people show up...why did I let her talk me into this?" He nervously thought. Then with Wren's display of showmanship the party literally lit up. Soon the deafening music played as the celebratory lights performed their show. He only took deep breaths trying to keep up his composure. It was then Jai came up and without so much as looking at him, talk to Wren. Then, in a delayed sort of fashioned, finally noticed him and high tailed it out of there. As Christian suspected, they already flee from him as if he had the plague.

Christian only sighed in a sad and disappointed manner. "Of course, why would I think anyone would ever react differently? I'm such a fool for coming here." He thought to himself. He then spoke to Wren, "You know what? Maybe I should just leave? I-I don't want to ruin the party for everyone here." It was then his vision went blurry as a voice spoke within his head. "Look at that, he's afraid, just like you said they would be. Speaking of fear here comes the supposed master." It was then his attention was turned towards Ichabod Crane, his vision normalized as Cletus came into view. "Look at all the other sons of psychos here at this party." Cletus motioned to Junior and Enzo. "While I do believe their ways of murder is a little too gimmicky for my liking...it still doesn't hurt to get a few pointers from our fellow colleagues." He chuckled sinisterly. "Why should I? What's your game?" He thought to himself. "Game? No, games. It's just as your father I feel that your choice in...who you decide to spend you're time with is very, very poor." Cletus spoke motioning over to Wren. "You're not my father...you never were."Christian retorted.

"Don't delude yourself, of course I am...you are my flesh and blood. And it's about time you realized that, so stop fooling around and do what you were born to do...kill." He then laughed manically. "No! No I won't! I've taken my medicine today, you can't force me to do anything!" "Perhaps, but then again I don't need to...you have the urge to kill all by yourself. I know you feel it, even now. I mean take that idiot for instance. He bothered you didn't he? After all, he just insulted you in front of your friend, bringing unwanted attention to you and calling you a cannibal. He represents what you hate in others...don't you see? People are worthless and petty, deserving to be killed. Why even protect them?" Cletus cooed. Christian shook as he tried to ignore the voice in his head. Yet, he wasn't wrong...Jai did insult him, why can't people refrain from judging him? It's not like he ever did anything wrong to him...to any of them! Christian looked around as he saw them staring and then everyone began to turn their backs to him.

"Look, they don't consider you one of them...see how they alienate themselves from you? Don't be their bitch! Kill them, kill them all and show the world that no one ever, EVER, messes with a KASADY!!" Cleuts shouted. "NO! You're trying to trick me, making me see what YOU want me to see!" Christian shook his head as reality returned to normal. "Dammit! I can't think like this...am I trying to loose it?!" Christian scolded himself. Thanks to the medicine Christian was able to suppress this little episode and despite the distracted look on his face, he managed to not make a scene. Still he was spooked, and worried that staying here was becoming too risky.

Image As Caleb mentioned finding and dealing with a source, she could only wish and agree in silence. However, a slither of her had enough respect for Alfred and Phil to not totally go savage on them. "Was I set up for failure there?" Lilith wanted to reference back to how it wasn't a trick question, and how the school's speedstar had managed well enough to keep her and a civilian alive against natural disasters, and in relative good shape compared to how things could have gone. But she could see his brainworks rolling and ticking, really trying to imagine the scene and think it through. And she wouldn't kill him by comparison. Nobody liked that. Besides, before Jai's name could even slip from her lips he came in bouncing around Alex on his back and making a fuss and scene wherever he flashed around to. So there was always an argument to be made in, the child like speediest guy actually saving her. His timing had shortened her response to a simple, "No." When he coward behind Alex, that was plenty of confirmation. But she followed his fright to the source. Or more like sources. "So many devils to tempt." She murmured to herself and turned back to Caleb. But of course tempting angels took real skill.

Image"Don’t make me fly your pretty butt out of here." He said. Lilith gasped in surprise."Oh my god, no one's ever complimented my butt before!" She almost shrieked in excitement. So many girls had the curve there working for them, and it was a trait on Lilith she was rarely praised on but Caleb had said pretty butt. Superman of all people! It was truly an honor. "I'm not even wearing an Ivy costume and you said that!" She reeled in her excitement in due time, like when he had to lean down towards her to speak to her again. "And no one would even know." Now, she didn't want to give him a villain course but in order for things to be really threatening, even in the joking sense he had to be in her ear. She waved him in again so she could reply, even with her heels still standing significantly shorter than him. "Wren would. If you ruin her penthouse outside of party standards, even your charming fat grin won't win her over." Lilith drew back and nodded as if to say 'true story.' "Now..I'm gonna get a few drinks and then we can dance."

She weaved her way through the bodies at the party to the bar. Lilith even second looked Christian and thought of offering him a drink. But she thought given his state it might be a stupid question and unwise.

The last shot got passed out right when Wren entered the room to really get the party started. Jai was the first to bounce over there and started rambling about god knows what before Alex could even take two steps towards Wren, Christian, and Jai. Jai practically ignored Christian as he talked to Wren though Alex acknowledged him with a friendly nod as she joined the group. Jai seemed to finally realize Christian was around considering he turned into a giant coward and hid behind Alex like she was some sort of human shield. "Jesus Christ, you're such a child."

"Please don't eat me." That comment really annoyed Alex as she rolled her eyes and dragged Jai over to her side so she could talk his ear off this time for a change. "Are you fucking serious, Jai? He's not a cannibal and he hasn't done anything to you." Her voice slowly grew louder and louder. "If you're gonna act like such an ass by assuming someone's a certain way based on who their father is go take your cowardly little ass away from this guy who's just here to have a good time like the rest of us." She pointed at the bar. "Better yet, how about you make like a bitch and get this guy a beer since he's more of a man than you."

Alex may have been a tad harsh to the little guy but she was pissed off. She hated people assuming someone was a certain way just because of who their parent was. It was bad enough people did it to her just because of Jason being her dad. Sure Christian wasn't perfect but he didn't ask to be born that way just like how Alex didn't ask to be born an outcast.

Julia smiled as he talked some more about 'Uncle Rocket', she found it sort of cute that he called him that, but she wouldn't dare point it out to him, he'd twist it and she never hear the end of how she thinks he's cute. He then gave her a confused look and her eyes widened as she awaited his question to clear his confusion. "Well that joke completely flopped." She gave him a teasingly exasperated look. "As my PA, you're supposed to just laugh at all my jokes and bring me expensive coffee that I've to tell you is terrible." She then rolled her eyes and chuckled. "I called you Jake Feather, because bosses typically forget their PAs names and you're my PA because you said you'd remind me to have a 'meeting with my father'... Much like how a PA would put a meeting in a diary." She sighed as she realised how bad the joke was.

Julia was surprised at how well he'd translated what she'd said, even if it was with the aid of technology, had he of spoke to her in an alien language she'd of tried to use magic to translate it, so she wasn't going to fault him on it. "Being from outer space, you mustn't have had the wonders of McDonald's? It is the classiest and most delicious dinner of them all." She chuckled in response to his question. "I kid, but you're talking to a girl who can literally take you anywhere on Earth, I mean I could push it and try Universe, but that'd take quite a lot of effort."

Julia visibly shuddered as she reached for the shot and downed it without hesitation, had she of hesitated they'd probably have been there for an hour try to just convince her to take it and then another half an hour on her actually taking it. She clasped her hand across her mouth and shuddered again. "I hate Wren." She managed to whimper, she knew the pain at the back of her throat would subside in a few seconds but she still hated the sensation of shots.

Julia chuckled at Jack's rant about the party and then she picked up on him using the short form of her name and laughed at him. "You don't know my name, do you?" Hopefully, he knew she was only teasing him, she would have hated for him to say the entire name, the one thing she definitely wasn't forgiving her father for was the fact her name had show the union of both her parents, although fair enough to pay some tribute to her grandfather but the four names was a bit overkill.

She stepped into the party with him, but watching him walk with such swagger she had to stop at the door frame and laugh at him, he just looked so ridiculous to her when he walked like that but she caught a hold of herself before stepping in, she noticed Frankie with Bane and waved at Frankie, before stepping next to Jack, catching the tail end of his concern about the 4 resident psychos, as most people so lovingly put it. She nudged him, with a slightly hurt expression. "Leave Christian be, it's not his fault..." She then looked over at Christian with a weak smile. "I know what he's going through." Her last comment was more a reminder for Jack that she had a demon side of her too, which was in relatively more control than Christian's symbiote was, but still. Julia shook her head, bringing herself back to the party and then hooked Jack's arm before leading him deeper into the party. "Come on, let's mingle."

Mathias lifted his head to look at Kain, he tilted his head and smirked. "With my endurance and stamina, it'd take quite a few to help me." He then shrugged. "Who knows, Tony may have augmented more than just my vocal cords." He grabbed another bomb and as he went to down it Kain snatched it from his hands. Mathias looked at him with a pursed lip smile and when Kain waggled his finger, a slow blink and confused single shake of the head followed. "And so the mercenary steals from the thief, that was unexpected." He teased, whilst he wasn't drunk, he'd enough alcohol in his system to make him forget how bad he was at flirting and how badly he flirted with everyone when he was drunk.

Mathias shook his head with a chuckle as Kain thanked him for the drink, "Oh, you're so welcome." His response was a lot more sarcastic than he intended it to, as he watched Kain go sit on his own, he rolled his eyes and lifted himself, via his acoustikinesis, and flew over to Kain, plopping himself down on the opposing seat. "Why are you intentionally sitting on your own?" Mathias then caught his sight and visibly was taken aback. "Well, that's... That's surprising." He murmured more to himself, the sight of Ichabod and Christian shocking him.

As she expected Nathan didn't respond to all the compliments, everyone knew he didn't talk much. She sat drinking her beer quietly and peacefully until he came over. Kain just couldn't let her be, no matter where they were he just had to bug her even if it was just for a second. He didn't say anything to her at all but he gave her shoulder a squeeze which was enough to get under her skin. He knew she hated him and that was all he really needed to do. She said nothing as she glared at the back of his head as he spoke with Mathias and stole one of his shots.

"THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" As if it was planned, and lets get real it probably was, the lights went down and colored lights went on and the music began blasting. Liz smiled, Wren always made an entrance. She noticed Christian had joined the party, probably because Wren asked him to. He wasn't a bad guy but Liz tends to stay away from him.

Kari didn't pay much attention to anyone else at the bar after she'd gave Nathan the complement. She just sat sipping on her beer. She saw the Kain had made his way over just to bother Liz, which she thought was funny. Then she heard Alex, she'd come over to talk to Frankie and Nathan. She couldn't help but tense up, though Alex would most likely ignore her. She wasn't one to cause trouble on her own. The thing was Kari hated that Alex didn't like her. Before she could move from the bar Wren busted through the door, "THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" she yelled and the music began playing on it's highest volume and the lights changed.

Kari stood from the bar and made her way over to Wren. About half way there she noticed Christian. "It's about time you showed up. I thought this was going to end up a dull party. She said to Wren then turned to christian, he looked kind of out of it "You alright Chris?" her voice full of concern, she knew people didn't like him but it wasn't his fault his dad was a maniac.

Wren made a note of the fact that Christian reads a lot in his penthouse. At some point she'd have to pick his brain for some good books to read, or suggest some to him. Of course, in an attempt to upstage her grand entrance, Jack shouted as he entered. "Uh, correction Wren! NOW IT'S A PARTY!!" Wren scoffed, "Bitch please, did you have a synchronized entrance with lights and music?... Yeah I didn't think so."

She then over heard Jack whisper to Julia, "Hey, when they say there is going to be a crazy party, I don't think that was suppose to be taken literally." Wren growled in her throat, squinting her eyes as she stuck out her foot to trip Jack as he walked by. "Hey Star Princess!... Captain crazy runs this ship here." Wren pointed to herself, "And if you have a problem with who my guests are then get the hell out." Sure Wren may have overreacted a smidge but she took offense to the 'crazy' comment. One because everyone knew Wren wasn't the most mentally sound with the toll the healing factor took on her body. Plus over half of the students here were out there. They're mutants, in what world would it make sense for them to be sane.

Julia made a comment towards Jack in a more friendly and a lot less Wren like, "Leave Christian be, it's not his fault... I know what he's going through." Wren gave her a 'thanks' smile, before Julia took Jack and went to go mingle. She had barely made it into her own party before Jai came running up to her, mouth as fast as his feet. "Hey, Wren. Did you see Bane? He actually spoke and now all these girls are surrounding him. Why doesn't that work for me? I'm sooooo great and attractive like have you seen my abs?" Before Wren could respond Jai must have noticed Christian because she quickly went to hide behind Alex. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Wren's temper wasn't doing so hot. "Jesus Christ, you're such a child." Apparently Alex was having the same thought.

"Please don't eat me." Wren was seconds from blowing her damn top. She clenched her jaw and glared at Jai as Alex gave her own little rant to the immature speedster. It's a party and yet everyone is deciding to make a damn scene because Wren was nice enough to invite everyone... Pathetic. Wren reached over to the table beside her grabbing whatever her hand could reach which happened to be an empty bottle of vodka. She wasted no time in pitching right a Jai's head. "I'm sorry, but were you dropped on your head as an infant? Or were you just born stupid?!" Wren lectured Jai. "Maybe you deserve to be 'eaten' because you're acting like a fucking pussy! And a good pussy deserves to be eaten!... Grow up."

Wren looked over at Christian and he wasn't looking so good. She didn't know if was because of the rudeness of others or what, but she lightly reached her around around his shoulders. Before she got a chance to talk to him Kari made her way towards her, "It's about time you showed up. I thought this was going to end up a dull party." Wren laughed halfheartedly, "Me having a dull party is as likely as a catholic not being a hypocrite." Kari then proceeded to ask if Christian was alright. "People are just being assholes." Wren reassured.

She let her arm fall from around Christian's shoulders to grasp his hand. Wren then lead him through the party, weaving between people until they got to the quieter side of her penthouse near the billiards table. Once away from most of the asshats, she released his hand. "Sorry about them... They're just a bag of dicks." Wren leaned her shoulder against the wall sighing, "And they're my friends, so what does that say about me?" She rolled her eyes slightly. "Do you want a drink or does that mess with the," She motions towards him, "... thing."

Frankie's attention drifted towards the door momentarily when an ever so loud Wren made her grand entrance and the whole atmosphere of the part changed. Typical Wren. Just before her attention shifted she caught sight of Julia walking in and waving towards her. Frankie gave her a soft smile and a small wave of her fingers before looking back towards Nathaniel. "My father is from Santa Prisca." She smiled, taking a sip of her drink. "That's so cool... My dad's from New York." She shrugged her shoulders slightly while pursing her lips. Definitely not something as interesting as that.

What Nathaniel did next took her slightly by surprise, speaking to her in Spanish rather than english. "Me enseñó comó hablar en inglés y español." Frankie couldn't help but smile as he looked at the ground while he spoke. Her Spanish was very fuzzy and by no means fluent, just whatever they taught her in high school. But it was enough to understand what he said. "I would tell you to speak in Spanish all the time because it sounds good when you speak it. But then I fear I wouldn't be much for conversation at that point." She giggled softly, taking the strawberry she had offered him, the one he seemed to have missed while actually holding a conversation with her, and took a bite.

"I can speak Latin... Well no one speaks Latin, it's a dead language. But I know it fairly well with having a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Everything in Science seems to have a Latin based name." Frankie shrugged slightly with a smile still upon her lips. She then held out the last piece of strawberry she had towards him, "They're really good and fresh... Unless you're allergic, then I'm sorry." Frankie laughed using her free hand to brush her locks behind her ear.

Kaina hit the mat with a loud smack and a grunt escaping her lips. She glared up at her father who held out his hand to help her up. Today was the day where Bruce would take his children and train with them in his little batcave. He did this at least three times a month in order to teach Kaina and her brother under his own authority. These days were usually the days where Saffah, Kaina's twin could take a break from playing peacemaker between the two and Kaina only came to these sessions because she did want to learn more, even if it was from him. So for these days she was tame, her words anyway. She spoke with her fists instead. Today Bruce excused them from class and took them in order to train them in boxing.

Kaina had caught on fairly quickly but she still needed to work on her stance. This was the cause for the incident that just happened. Kaina and her father had been going at it for a good half hour already and they were both exhausted and sweating. Bruce was coming at her hard, throwing fast combos and Kaina was doing good so far. She was blocking or dodging all of them until she went to take a breath and took a step back. That's when she lost her footing and her father's boxing glove connected with her left cheek sending her down on her ass. Kaina went for her father's hand, faking him out instead and at the last minute she used her right leg in order to sweep him off his feet then quickly rolled her knee's up to her chest and did a kick up, landing perfectly on her feet. She smirked down at the almighty Batman who just got his ass knocked down by his daughter and proceeded to take off her gloves, tossing them to the side.

"I didn't say we were finished." Bruce said as he picked himself off of the ground. Kaina turned her head slightly, just enough to make eye contact with her father. "You don't get to boss me around." she responded casually before turning her attention back to her hand-wraps that she began unwrapping from her hands. "You are my daughter and-" Bruce was stopped mid sentence as Kaina spun on her heels and jabbed her finger into his chest. She stood considerably shorter than him, only reaching just under his shoulders. "Just because you're my father doesn't mean I have to listen to you. Two years we have been here, two years that YOUR children have been here and NOW you choose to start acting like a father?" Kaina growled at him.

Everything was going good until Bruce struck that nerve. Saffah, her brother jogged over from where he was training with a simulation and stepped in between his sister and father. "Just go Kaina." He said while making eye contact with his sister. Kaina glared at her father for a few more seconds before she responded back to her brother. "See you back at the academy." And with that she turned on her heels, slipped on her shoes, grabbed her backpack and walked out with a vicious sway to her hips.

While entering the academy Kaina pulled out her phone and after struggling with the damn pass code she shot a text back to her brother. A response to something he sent earlier about him staying late and training with their father. Kaina was glad to see her beloved brother enjoying himself with something. It's been so long that he actually let go and did something he wanted so she didn't mind even if it was with Bruce but then again as long as it wasn't her who was stuck with that man then she was totally fine. Kaina stepped into the elevator and pressed the button that lead to her room. When she got there she stepped out and proceeded to her bathroom because she was sweaty and sticky and she didn't like the way that felt.

While in the shower Kaina thought about Wren's party. She was told ahead of time but never thought about actually going until now. Funny how random thoughts come to you when you're in the shower, right? As she lathered and with her vanilla scented body soap Kaina then proceeded to rinse as the steam from the hot shower fogged up the glass, blurring her body from invisible eyes. Soon she decided what the hell, Alex will probably be there since the party was being thrown by her best friend and Kaina could use the booze. The shower was suddenly silenced as Kaina stepped out and grabbed a towel from the nearby rack, wrapping it around her body and going out to her bedroom.

Her eyes stared out the very huge window that overlooked the city below. She never asked for such a big living space and was fairly surprised when she first stepped foot into it but now other than her own room at the Wayne's mansion this was her little private home-sweet-home. Kaina could still remember that day like it was yesterday. She was fairly pissed that her father made her come to the academy but more so confused when she got to her new living space. Everything was so high tech and she didn't even know how to work a cell phone back then but now, well, she still struggles with the cellphone but she also learned how to work a t.v. Give her a computer though and tell her to search for something and she'd easily get frustrated because she still doesn't know exactly how to work one.

Kaina just has never been a tech person, she was raised knowing what technology was but never with the privilege of owning something like it, the environment she was raised it didn't need it because they were mostly stuck in the past. She lived in a temple for god's sake and used messengers or wrote letters when she needed to tell someone something or find something out so you could see why it was hard for her to adjust. The heiress snapped out of her little trance, remembering her past wasn't such a good idea right now because it was just going to ruin her somewhat good mood. Stepping over to her closet Kaina walked in and looked around. Honestly she had no idea what to wear, fashion wasn't her thing even though she can usually pull off anything she wears. Dressing up for things like this usually left her clueless but after eyeing a blue romper for a while she took it off the rack and picked up a pair of black flats. Kaina then proceeded to get dressed, leaving her hair out and un-braided which was uncommon for her unless she was lounging around her living space or going to bed.

Once she was dressed she looked at herself in the mirror. The romper clung to her body perfectly without being too tight but just enough to accent her curves. A shrug rolled off her shoulders because in all honesty she wasn't going to the party to impress or anything but for the booze and maybe some chitchat with people that didn't get on her nerves. If the party didn't work out then she'd take a stroll through the city, you know just wander until she got tired. Glancing at her phone for a second Kaina decided to leave it there but took a small knife that she concealed within her outfit in case someone got a bit funny with her. All ready to go Kaina headed towards Wren's room where the party was held.

Upon arriving Kaina witnessed some guys shotgunning cans of beer. She stared rather curiously with arm crossed as she had seen this on t.v before. She couldn't put her finger on what movie it was but she remembers laughing a great deal at it. Shaking her head with her signature smirk upon her lips Kaina walked away towards a guy who held a tray of shots. They were colorful and caught her eye so she grabbed two, one in each hand then downed them back like water. They were sweet yet sour and she liked it. She reached out and grabbed a third one, green before shooting it back.

Kumiko gave her answer, even sounding report like. "Nothing exciting. Bane doing his much hated Joker Jr duties. The night has barley started, I'm sure it will get much more exciting than that." Astrid nodded, taking a look around. With alcohol taking its effects on any one of these individuals it could become more exciting but if they times that by 5 at least...they were due for a very exciting night for lack of a better term. "Maybe things will get interesting sooner rather than later." Astrid was unsure if that was a calculation or hope, but if gambling were in her nature she'd put money on it. In fact, why not? Only more people seemed to file into the party making Wren's much desired full house dream come true. "I think things will take a turn in about..10 minutes? And that's being generous." She smiled to Kumiko. "How'd your simulation go anyway?" Astrid asked on another note.

Image "Hey Astrid. Kimmy K." Matt nodded to them and smiled. Astrid naturally smiled right back to Matt before letting her face slowly fall. She pointed to his cup. "Are you sure you should be drinking that right after your entry shot? You know underage drinking is still frowned upon in here." Astrid told him, her brows furrowed in concern for Matty. She watched his own face slowly fall and glance into his cup self-consciously. "Oh. Matty. No. I'm kidding. Sometimes people kid." Matt laughed too sharply, causing her head to jerk back and do an uncertain grin in response as he sipped at his drink. "Good one." His laughter trailed off and he walked away not so subtly. Though Kumiko mightn't have registered it as an awkward occurrence, Astrid exchanged a glance with her. "I think I might just see what's going on there or say I'm sorry or...something." She excused herself and wondered off after Matt.

She grabbed his arm gently and stepped in front of him. "Hey. I know my humor needs a lot of work but I was joking. I'd never judge what you do or try to make you feel that way. Is something the matter? Do you want to talk?"

"You know? You didn't have to explain that entire joke to me...it wasn't that bad." He snickered, continuing to be cheeky. As he listened to her nodded, "Yeah, McDonald's got most places beat." He said jokingly. He then sloshed around the thought of being transported anywhere in the world and possibly the Universe. He then shook his head, no. "Nah, I think I prefer to ride in a spaceship myself, it's unlike any other vehicle on this planet, not even a shuttle is close." He said a bit longingly.

Jack laughed, as he placed his hands up in surrender. That's true, he didn't have syncronized lights and music, he'll have to remember that one. As he and Julia spoke he listened to what she had to say. "Yeah, well...um...," before Jack could say his next words he nearly tumbled over with Julia in tow! He gained his balance to look over to an agitated Wren. "Alright, jeez, didn't mean anything bad by it. I'm sorry." He said to Wren while looking over at Christian. He was then dragged off by Julia. He then spoke to her again, "Really, I didn't mean to come off like a jerk...it's just...I don't know. The guy's a mystery, y'know? He spends most of his time alone in his room, and when he's in class the guy doesn't say two words...what am I suppose to think about the guy? He doesn't give me very much to go off of...besides...well, you know that too." He said feeling a bit down on himself.

He then surveyed the room wondering where to mingle. It was then he spotted a gathering of hotties around Bane, strange enough place. It was then Jack said in a happier mood, "Hey, lets go over to where the big guy is. He seems to be getting the most action." Jack declared as he began to move towards Nathaniel. It was then Alex and Kari left for Wren and Christian where both Wren and Alex yelled at Jai. It was then Jack took a deep breath, "Glad, I got off easy...shit, now I feel bad for the guy...uh Chris I mean." He said trailing off. "Well...lets go over to the bar and see about that mingling huh?" Jack said feeling chipper once more.

It was then he came up to Nathaniel and Frankie. "Hey guys! How's the drinks around here?" He asked to no one in particular. He then gave a thumbs up to Bane, "Doing pretty good for yourself buddy...pullin' all the ladies. Gonna need to step up my game a little since I don't got the big guns like you do!" Jack chuckled. He would pat Bane on the back but he wasn't sure if the guy would punch him or not, if he did.

Christian felt embarrassed after the ruckus that seemed to have been created just because he was there. He didn't like how angry Alex and Wren got over the few comments that have been said about him. It's like they felt the need to defend him when he didn't need defending. It wasn't wrong for them to think the thoughts they thought or even act the way they acted. It was reasonable and understandable...he...is a liability to their life. Who knows? He may have regained his composure now but in a single second he could relapse. He felt bad for Jai who seemed to get the worse of it, he was just reacting naturally.

Still the women around him seem to be more understanding than the men. Which he found curious, since he did murder a lot of women that night, not anymore he supposes in relation to the men but there is usually more disgust towards those that murder women. Not to mention those that murder children as well. All their little faces...it keeps him awake at night. Still he was dragged off by Wren who seemed content to answer Kari's question for him. "I...uh." Was all he could manage to say before being taken away.

As Wren leaned against the wall, Christian sat down on a barstool. "The Symbiote keeps me sober...trust me...I tried." He said in a grim manner. He then looked over to her and said, "Don't be so harsh on them...they're not wrong for reacting the way they did. It's not like I make it easy for them to change their opinions of me." He said as he looked at his hands. He began to pick at his nails. "I just don't get it. Why are any of you guys nice to me? Why even defend me like that? I'm sure you guys have heard about the...killings." He said, still not looking at Wren. He then noticed a nick in the leather of the seat and began to pick at that instead.

"Are you fucking serious, Jai? He's not a cannibal and he hasn't done anything to you." Jai stepped back as Alex's voice grew and she began chewing him out. "If you're gonna act like such an ass by assuming someone's a certain way based on who their father is go take your cowardly little ass away from this guy who's just here to have a good time like the rest of us." He stood there completely speechless and off guard as she pointed at the bar and her arm caused him to flinch in response like she was on the verge of hitting him. "Better yet, how about you make like a bitch and get this guy a beer since he's more of a man than you." His face fell as he was about ready to leave but apparently the girls weren't done with him just yet.

Alex yelling at him wasn't enough since Wren decided to chuck an empty bottle of vodka at him causing Jai to duck down to avoid it and practically cower at whatever she had left to throw at him. "I'm sorry, but were you dropped on your head as an infant? Or were you just born stupid?!" He looked up at her like a puppy that had just been kicked as she continued to take more jabs at him. "Maybe you deserve to be 'eaten' because you're acting like a fucking pussy! And a good pussy deserves to be eaten!... Grow up." Jai seemed to be getting smaller and smaller with each word until Wren was finally done.

Jai slowly rose up from the ground with his head hanging low and he went off to find his own little corner to be alone. He didn't run. He didn't speed all around the room like usual. He walked slowly and sat himself down alone staring at his hands and getting lost in his own thoughts as he stayed perfectly quiet. What was so wrong with being scared? What was wrong with seeing what that guy has done? Why didn't they understand?d

Her soft giggle brought Nathaniel's attention back up form the floor to her. "I would tell you to speak in Spanish all the time because it sounds good when you speak it. But then I fear I wouldn't be much for conversation at that point." He had a faint smile appear on his face though he didn't really have a response. Nathaniel probably did all the talking he needed to do for a year. He finally noticed the strawberry that had been held out for him and watched her take a bite just realizing he didn't acknowledge her offer to him. His cheeks turned red for a moment as he mumbled an apology, "Sorry." He looked back down at his hands and back up at her trying to come up with something to say.

Thankfully Frankie was much better suited for conversation than Nathaniel. "I can speak Latin... Well no one speaks Latin, it's a dead language. But I know it fairly well with having a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. Everything in Science seems to have a Latin based name." His eyes lit up right when she mentioned her degrees. She was actually smart and worth Nathaniel's time. Praise science. Nathaniel seemed to hang onto everything about her even more now that she was more than just a sweet girl with a pretty face. She's pretty, sweet, and smart. She's perfect. Too bad Nathaniel was anything but perfect.

Another strawberry as held out in front of him. "They're really good and fresh... Unless you're allergic, then I'm sorry." He looked at the strawberry and back at her just as she pushed one of her flawless locks back behind her ear. Nathaniel just couldn't bear the thought of saying no to her and took the strawberry despite the fact that he was not a fan of them. He bit into it and played it off like he enjoyed the way the tiny little seeds jammed into his teeth before adding a mumbled, "Thanks. When he was done. Commotion began when he heard Alex raised her voice towards Jai West and Wren follow by throwing a glass bottle at him over his remark towards Christian. Nathaniel actually felt bad for the guy. They shouldn't expect someone to just act like he didn't commit any horrible crimes. Sure Jai shouldn't have made a dumb remark but that doesn't deserve what he got.

Nathaniel turned backaround wanting to ask Frankie about her field right when Jack Quill decided to interrupt them. "Hey guys! How's the drinks around here?" Nathaniel rolled his eyes hoping to ignore the guy but then he decided to address Nathaniel directly. "Doing pretty good for yourself buddy...pullin' all the ladies. Gonna need to step up my game a little since I don't got the big guns like you do!" He looked like he was about to pat his back but hesitated. Nathaniel responded by glaring at him intensely looking like he was about ready to kill the guy if he continued pestering him.

Talk about one eventful party. The hyperactive speedster managed to piss off two of the arguably hottest and possibly most popular girls in the school. Alex chewed his head off while Wren actually got physical and threw a bottle at him. Ichabod loved it. He cowered on the ground and walked away like some pathetic wannabe hero because he was too afraid. He'd be an easy target and this just confirmed it for him. Though that would have to wait since Ichabod would need to make a special formula for him. maybe something that involved Christian eating him just for shits and giggles.

Ichabod clapped his hands together loudly as he stood up and strolled over to where the party really was. He placed his long thin hands on the shoulders of Christian and Wren as he stared down at Alex with a rather manical look on his face enough to make the fearless crawl in their skin. "How about we lighten the mood of this party up a bit?" He looked at them each just to make sure they were actually listening. "Let's play a nice game of spin the bottle."

Image “What does a guy normally do when he intentionally sits alone without a magazine or the internet?” Kain definitely meant it as a rhetorical question but had to eliminate the snide comments of another lonesome activity. “People watching. You sit back, relax and observe the events to unfold. Kinda tame but it can pay off.” Mathias seemed to follow the social appearances of Ichabod and Christian. Kain nodded slowly with a smirk. “Interest…" He was cut off by the commotion and girls defending some remarks towards Christian, that otherwise could have gone under the radar. “As I was saying…interesting huh?” Kain picked up and smiled. “And that's just the beginning. It's not even peak freak hour yet." And that was true. Come midnight, or any time when the alcohol takes its effects on those with the built up systems, things would get even more juicy and eventful. He then eyed Mathias up and down coming to pay attention to the absence of a drink in his hand. "You didn't even bring a peace offering."

He didn't get much time to justify his innocence as Astrid admitted she was joking. And Matt had made it all the more weird by forcing laughter. He could see that and that was his cue to go.

Image"No it's just...Well it's just I've been standing here for a solid 3 minutes and Wren hasn't noticed me yet." He told Astrid lowly as she asked what the matter was. Matt hung his head down in defeat, praying for the strength he knew he'd need for this night. Slowly, he was able to glance back up to Astrid and twitch up half a smile. It was a sad excuse and something he ought to be a shamed of. Matt scanned her facial features for a moment before breaking character. "Now I'm kidding." He beamed. "It was just my escape from the awkward hole I had dug myself in. Of course it helps to move on to someone else straight away but everyone else has already kinda..." Matt entwined his hands as what he believed to be a convincing gesture of everyone else already bonding and grouping together. "See, I'm also bad at jokes." As if to ease the tension his hand naturally hit her lightly. Instantly his mouth fell agape and his hands hovered by her, unsure whether to offer a caring touch or that was the last thing she wanted. "I am so sorry."

It was then he also caught wind of a spin the bottle game, but he didn't want to turn or make eye contact with the suggester. For the person sake and the game itself. He raised his brows then grinned again to Astrid. "And where does Miss America stand on such a game? Mm. Vodka breath."

Rather than take on board the whole locking her out of the party aspect, Lilith paid more attention to the butt aspect. Caleb looked around, embarrassed by her excitement towards her interpreted compliment, though he meant nothing by it. And when he thought things couldn't get worse, Caleb leaned back towards her as she motioned for so. "Wren would. If you ruin her penthouse outside of party standards, even your charming fat grin won't win her over." Now she was countering his points? This was just hitting poor irony all over. "Now..I'm gonna get a few drinks and then we can dance." Like she had held his attention down the halls, she held it as she weaved her way through people at the party. Then something in him clicked. 'Then we can dance'. He really wasn't much of a dancer. And sure it was flattering but he wasn't entirely comfortable with it.

Caleb tried to bury himself within the crowd while he was out of range from her more passive abilities. But there wasn't really a way to blend in standing at the height he did. So he found himself moving toward the billiard table Enzo was using. They weren't on great terms but he'd be a good buffer. Meanwhile though...Caleb might as well tried for some conversation. "You missed a riddle today." He said. "Or trick question." Caleb personally wasn't sure what it qualified as.

Kumiko went back to watching the party, still expecting Astrid to answer. She'd learned that just because you answer the initial question it doesn't always mean the conversation was over. Not much was going on, just a bunch of mingling which she instinctively scrunched her nose. Small talk was never her strong suit, it often turned into her not talking or talking in a way not one understood, she had gotten better since Astrid hadn't been scared off yet. "I think things will take a turn in about..10 minutes? And that's being generous." Kumiko smirked and nodded in agreement, having enemies in the same room all drinking alcohol was never a good mix. "How'd your simulation go anyway?" Kumiko realized she hadn't even seen her simulation partner arrive yet. Before she could answer her question Matt walked over "Hey Astrid. Kimmy K." Kimmy K? She blinked at him in confusion, not one had ever called her that since it was nowhere near her name. She gave him a small wave but other than that said nothing.

Listening to their small conversation and actions confused her. Astrid had made a joke, according to her, yet it sounded serious which caused Matt to seem hurt or sad about it and leave. In response to that Astrid stood "I think I might just see what's going on there or say I'm sorry or...something." and left Kumiko alone once again. So she went back to what she did best. "THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!!" Wren burst through her door which caused the 'normal' lights to turn off and 'party' lights to turn on. Also the music became louder, so loud Kumiko nearly wanted to leave the party but was slightly afraid since she'd have to walk past Wren.

It hadn't even been ten minutes and things were starting to get more interesting with Jai getting screamed at by Wren and Alex because of the comment he made about Christian. Kumiko always found Christian interesting, he wanted to be good but whatever was in his head wouldn't allow it. it was probably the only thing that helped her understand sadness or was it empathy?

Not only did Wren manage to get Christian to join the party Ichabod had joined as well and suggested a game of spin the bottle. Kumiko had no idea what that was but she didn't want to participate.

"People are just being assholes." Kari nodded in agreement and turned to see where Jai had gone. She saw him sitting alone staring at his hands it kind of made her feel a little sorry for him. "Don't worry about them. They just don't understand. I mean I'm not going through that kind of thing myself but I can sort of understand what your going through. She said giving him a small pat on the shoulder

"Don't be so harsh on them...they're not wrong for reacting the way they did. It's not like I make it easy for them to change their opinions of me." Kari looked at him curiously, "I just don't get it. Why are any of you guys nice to me? Why even defend me like that? I'm sure you guys have heard about the...killings." She didn't understand why he was defending them. They had to have hurt his feelings. "Chris, just because you've done some bad things doesn't mean you're a bad person. It isn't like you are following into your father's footsteps willingly, at least you try to be good unlike others.

#990066 | Outfit | "Simple Magic."

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯

Julia smiled at him telling her that her joke wasn’t so bad and so she gave him a light nudge with her fist. ”If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you were flirting with me… But I’m pretty sure that saying a bad joke isn’t that bad is the girls job, although…” She looked him up and down. ”Those jeans are awful tight.” She continued to tease him, but when she realised she was at the party, her cheeks flushed slightly, she had a feeling someone was going to assume she was flirting with one of the easiest guys in the academy. ”I take it you’ve never actually felt a wave of magic over you then?” She asked in response to his comment about transportation.

Julia noticed his lack of ability to respond to what she said and as she went to apologise to him, she hated making people feel uncomfortable, she was off balance and near enough falling on top of Jack, yet he managed to steady himself. Julia managed to use him to balance herself and she gave Wren the look of a disappointed mother, before she gave her smile in response to her thanks. She understood Wren’s intentions and why she was protecting him, but she didn’t agree with her methods, she preferred the quiet off to one side, otherwise she’s just going to make Christian feel awkward and comfortable, speaking of Christian she gave him a smile and a wave as she dragged Jack away from them.

Julia pulled Jack in closer from the side, resting her arm on his shoulder in an effort to comfort him. ”I know why you’re concerned, Jack, but he does those things because he knows that the incidents are all people see him as. He’d rather not interact with people for fear of negative interaction, it’s actually really painful to experience.” She hinted at her empathy, but whether or not Jack caught on she wasn’t concerned. ”You can trust my opinion on him… It’s a lot more first-hand than most everyone else’s.”

Julia let Jack take the lead on the mingling, just so long as she kept him out of the way of Wren and Christian she imagined it’d be okay. She rolled her eyes at Jack’s reasoning for heading in the direction but since he’d already made up his mind, she just decided to follow after him. But just as she did, she heard the yelling and she literally stopped in her tracks to turn to stare at Wren, she put her tongue up against the front of her top teeth, exaggerating her pout and placed her hands on her hips, when she thought Wren’s gaze was passing over her, she dramatically shrugged, before pointing to Christian and doing circling motions over her cheeks, implying how embarrassing that’d be for Christian as well. She sighed when she noticed Alex was also involved, the Bat family were like a second family to Julia, probably because of how close her mother was to Bruce, sure the Todd name within that family is slightly awkward, it didn’t stop her from seeing her as a cousin. She noticed Jai walk off and his sadness washed over her like a tidal wave, causing a gasp to escape her lips, but she seemed frozen as he skulked off, she couldn’t move until Jack mentioned the bar and she found herself just following him again.

At the bar, Julia managed to obtain a passionfruit daiquiri with a mango wedge on the edge of the glass, she took a sip of the slushie like substance and focused on the energy of the party, more specifically Frankie and Jack, if she focused on Nathaniel she was worried she might swing for Jack. Julia had just about managed to pick up the tail end of Frankie’s conversation about Latin and she perked up, like a dog. ”Latin is such an amazing language! So simple yet beautifully complex, if you ever need some help with a word, I’m pretty sure I have a book… I mean I have an entire library dedicated to Ancient magic, there’s a few Latin books… Sadly none on biology, well none that you should read…” Julia took another sip from her drink, the more alcohol in her system the more open her empathic abilities opened up and become less controlled, rum through a straw was not helping that at all, she picked up on Nathaniel’s annoyance and without thought blurted out the first thing to pop into her head. ”Maybe if you weren’t so annoying, you could compete.” Julia clasped her free hand on her mouth, her face turning a bright pink. ”I didn’t mean that…”

#1C1AAD | Outfit | "Wanna hear Me Sing?"

╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯

Mathias chuckled to himself, shaking his head and ignoring Kain’s answer to his own question. ”Wait, you mean to tell me… there’s people out there who intentionally sit without those?” He smirked, before shaking his head and veining disappointment. ”What a sick, sick world we live in.” Mathias rolled his eyes with a smirk. ”You don’t have to people watch, blending into the crowd with your ear to the ground is better likely to pay off. You can hear the conversations as well as observe.”

Mathias picked up on his question of how interesting it was for Christian and Ichabod to have arrived and Mathias face visibly dropped, but he simply shrugged. ”Panicking about if the drinks haven’t been spiked and worrying about whether or not there’s toxins in the air vents is your idea of fun, I most definitely would not like to go on a night out with you, you must go to some of the shadiest clubs.” Mathias then dropped himself down on one of the chairs near Kain, not caring whether or not it bothered him.

”I’m pretty sure Wren intents the party to be remembered, peak freak hour is probably why a shot is the entry fee, get them all started at the door.” Mathias knotted his eyebrows and turned his head to look at him. ”I didn’t realise we were at war?” Mathias asked, pouting with one of his eyebrows raising as he pulled his left cheek in and chewed it, giving him a rather quizzical look. ”Can’t have peace without war, and you stole my drink so shouldn’t you be reimbursing me?” The entire comment was just him being a smart arse, but the last part of it was particularly snarky, yet not in a mean way, just in a teasing way.
