Kamaria is very free spirited and adventurous, she has always loved learning and trying new things. She has never been much of a girly-girl, more into paintball rather than painting her nails and very bold in her opinions. Kamaria is a very outgoing and kind person but she has a bit of a temper. While she would never be rude or mean to someone who didn't deserve it she has very little patience or respect for those who do. She's always had a bit of wild side and she's often one to get into some trouble but her nature and demeanor often allow her to weasel her way out of the worst consequences. Kamaria, though a very sociable person, is horrible at working with others, her family life having caused her to have trust issues. Overall despite her flaws Kamaria has a good heart and most often means well.

*Kamaria's fears are few but intense, causing her to go to great lengths to avoid them, and even greater lengths to get away from them*
*Her pride is one of her biggest weaknesses, Kamaria being reluctant to ask for help in any situation*
*Kamaria's powers, especially her magic and weather control, are strongly linked to her emotions which she often has little control over*

T'Challa|Black Panther|Dad
Kamaria has always had a really close relationship with her. Growing up he always made sure he had time for her whether it was to help her train or to bring her hiking. He has always believed in her and supported her no matter what her decisions were, knowing she had to learn from her own accomplishments and mistakes.
ImageImage
Dumisami|Pet/Best-Friend
Umi is Kamaria's pet jaguar, given to her at age 16 and blessed by Bast the Panther God with an expanded lifetime. As Kamaria had started to practice magic she accidentally cast a spell that linked Umi to her as her familiar. As years have passed Kamaria and Umi have developed a strong bond, Umi being Kamaria's closest friend.
ImageImage
Ororo Munroe|Storm|Mom
Kamaria's relationship with her mother has always been a bit rough, her mother trying to suppress her adventurous side where he father encouraged it. This along with her divorce and marriage to Wolverine caused a large rift between mother and daughter.

Image

Kamaria was raised in Wakanda, by her father and mother. Though her parents got remarried to raise Kamaria her father never forgave her mother for her relationship with Wolverine. Growing up Kamaria was adventurous and energetic, being more interested in learning to fight and use her powers than learning the discipline and control her mother watched to teach her. This caused a bit of a rift between Storm and Kamaria that only widened when Storm divorced Black Panther to marry Wolverine. When her mother offered for Kamaria to join her and attend the academy Kamaria adamantly declined choosing to stay with her father. At 16 she ate the heart-shaped plant, gaining the same powers as her father and being gifted Dumisami to be her protector and companion. Fully invested in being a hero like her father and later become chieftain and ruler of Wakanda Kamaria threw herself fully into her training. During this time she also started to train with the priestesses of N'Dare in Magic, learning some basic uses for her magical potential. At her request and her father's reluctant approval Kamaria underwent the ritual of acceptance by Bast the Panther God at 18, gaining her approval from the god. He blessed her with strongly enhanced abilities and and Umi with an extended lifespan. As she had never learned the excessive control and discipline her mother tried to teach her, her new powers proved to be a bit much and as a result her father decided to send her to a school. After refusing to go to her mother's school he finally decided to send her to the Stark school.

So begins...

The Descendant Academy

Descendant Academy. School for the lucky few who are the offspring of the worlds leading heroes, superheroes, villains and vigilantes. Unlike any other schools, even Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. Here they are raised, trained, educated and prepared for what the world has in store. Some preparing to take up their parent's places, while others make their own identities. Each student here arriving at different points in their lives. But that's irrelevant.

It's another day just like any other in the Academy. Phil and Alfred take the elevators down to floor L1, making their way to the lecture hall. As they made their way down the long corridor, Phil glances over the paperwork in his hands while speaking, "J.A.R.V.I.S.?" "Yes sir?" He flips over another page in his folder before adding, "Send out the alarm." "Of course sir." After a moment or two J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice rang throughout every room in Descendant Tower, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Phil clears his throat, "J.A.R.V.I.S..." The computer's voice adds in his announcement to the building, "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Alfred made his way around Phil, removing his key from his lapel, sliding it into the deadbolt and unlocking the door. He stood there, holding open the door for Coulson. "Such a late start today?" Phil laughed slightly while walking into the room, turning on the lights. "Well they aren't going to be happy about today's assignment. I figured I'd at least let them sleep in before they decided to hate me for the day," Phil smiled towards Alfred. He then walked up to the desk at the front of the room, setting down his files as Alfred enters after him asking, "May I ask what is on the agenda today?" Phil double checks his papers before replying, "Exercise 23."

Alred glanced over his shoulder at Phil, "I assume I'll be needing the crate?" Coulson chuckled as he took a seat at the front of the room. "I told you they weren't going to like us today Al."

Deadpool suit, top portion hanging on hips, black sports bra & Ray Bans

Wren never did sleep like everyone else did. The last time she remembers actually sleeping she was probably a teen and still adjusting to her strange abilities. But for years her stamina has made it nearly impossible for her to get tired enough to need sleep. So while everyone else usually slept she would wonder around Descendant Tower, read books or find something else to occupy her time. If one of her classmates saw her during that time that'd probably have a heart attack because she usually is silent... Sometimes. Ok well she talks to herself on occasion but that's not her fault she'd mentally unstable.

That evening she spent her solitary time reading Homer's the Iliad. Light reading right? Having as much free time as Wren had she had plenty of time to read books, and she didn't believe in reading the same book twice. She hadn't realized how much time had passed or how engrossed she was in the book until she heard J.A.R.V.I.S.'s announcement. Wren looked over at the clock on her wall, "1 o'clock already? Jesus Homer... Stop being so needy I have places to go." She slid a book mark into the novel, slightly frustrated that she was so close to the end and had to stop. "We will continue later Homes." She sets the book down on the window seat and walks over to the closet that is her bedroom in club of a penthouse.

Wren grabbed her suit that her father gave her from the closet and tossed it onto the bed. It wasn't always her favorite thing to wear but in this place, curve balls were thrown at them when they least expected it, and she'd hate to be caught off guard in jeans. Have you ever tried to kick ass in skinny jeans? Not that easy. But that didn't mean she wouldn't make the suit her own when she wore it. Wren wiggled into her suit, but only wore the pant portion leaving the top half to dangle from her waist like many people wear their overalls, her utility belt holding it up. Deciding to keep it simple she only wore a black sports bra as a top, not really giving a rat's ass what anyone would say. Wren definitely wasn't one to wear the cliche mask unless she went out in public, so she just tucked it away in her belt.

As she made her way towards the elevator, she grabbed her ipod and sunglasses from the table near the doors, then pressed the down button. While waiting Wren put on her Ray Bans, and put in her ear buds, pressing shuffle. The elevator opened as the song Chandelier by Sia begins to blast in her ears. She enters the elevator, pressing L1 before she begins to go down. As she slowly makes her descension, Wren begins to bounce around and dance to the music.

The doors open up to the main hall that leads down the center of floor L1. Once the doors were open completely, she slides out into the corridor like Tom Cruise belting out the lyrics to the song, "I'M GONNA SWINGGGGGG FROM THE CHANDELIERRRR!!!! FROM THE CHANDELIERRRRRR!!" Wren bobs her head, twirling and strutting down the long hallway not caring who sees her. "Help me, I'm holding on for dear life. Won't look down, won't open my eyes. Keep my glass full until morning light, 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight, On for tonight, On for tonigh-" Just as she reaches Alfred who's standing outside the classroom, she freezes mid-step, mid-song and mid-dance when she sees the crate sitting on the ground before him.

Wren pulls her earbuds out, "Al... please tell me you're just pulling a prank on me?" Alfred sent an apologetic smile towards her as he outstretches his right hand towards her. "I'm afraid not Miss Wilson... All weapons please." She rolled her eyes, scoffing slightly as she grabs the pair of pistols from her thigh holsters, setting it in Al's hand. He set the gun in the crate, then looked back towards her. "What!?" Al cleared his throat, motioning for her to hand over more. "Oh for fucks sake!" She reaches behind her back grabbing the pistol that was tucked into the back of her pants, setting it in his hand. She then bends over pulling 2 bowie knives that were tucked into her boots. Wren then holds out her hands before rotating in a circle so he can look her over. "Did I pass the inspection?" Al managed a soft chuckle before extending his hand once more, "Phone too miss." She growled, squinting her eyes as she set her phone in his palm. "You're lucky I like you pops."

Now that she was completely stripped of every comfort she had on her other than her clothing, Wren made her way into the classroom. She didn't hesitate to walk right up to the front row center, spinning a chair around so she could sit on it backwards, straddling the back. "You know, if we wanted to kill each other we would've already."

Black slacks, spats, black silk shirt with green question mark pattern, green suspenders & green bolder hat

Enzo, unlike most of his classmates, had his shit together for lack of a better term. He knew when class was before the bogus announcement from J.A.R.V.I.S. He was sure at that moment many of them would be stumbling out of bed and rushing to get ready and get to class in time. The thought made him chuckle as he finished shaving his face, then rinsed his face with water from the sink. Enzo looked back up at his reflection as his ran his wet hands back through his hair, slicking it back as he walked back out to his bedroom. Making his way over to his bed, he pushed his suspenders off of his shirtless torso letting them to fall to a rest on either side of his legs. He grabbed the black silk shirt covered with the green question marks, slipping his arms into the sleeves before he began to button it.

Enzo always enjoyed playing with the stereotype his father started behind the Riddler persona, taking pride in dressing similarly to how his dad used to. He always dressed in formal wear so it wasn't much different except everything he owned was either green, black or purple and almost always had a question mark on it somewhere. After all, he is the Riddler right? When his shirt was buttoned, he tucked it into his slacks, then tugged his suspenders back up. Tucking his cane under his left arm, he made his way towards the elevator. Enzo pressed the down button before reaching over and grabbing the green bolder hat that hung on the coat rack. And for his own amusement he flipped it up in the air, catching it perfectly atop his head just before the doors opened.

Patiently, Enzo road the elevator down the many floors towards level L1, resting his hands on his cane that he had standing before him. As the doors slid open he slowly made his way down the long corridor. The only sound to be heard was the clicking of his dress shoes on the tile and the tapping of the cane's base in sync with his stride. Upon reaching the class room he saw Al waiting. Enzo raised a suggestive brow before rolling his eyes. He didn't need to wait until Al extended his hand towards him to know what he wanted. Reluctantly, he held out his golden question mark cane. "Not a scratch Al."

After forfeiting his weapon Enzo entered the classroom, seeing the rather enthusiastic Wren sitting up front, seemingly bothering Phil. No doubt she was complaining about the restrictions to firearms and weapons in the classroom that day. Luckily for him, she was too preoccupied to notice his entrance and he'd rather keep it that way. So as quietly as he could, he slipped into a chair towards the back of the room. He then leaned back in his chair, crossing his feet and entangling his fingers in his lap patiently.

As Kamaria finished up another set of laps in the pool she heard J.A.R.V.I.S come over the intercom. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.” Coming to a halt Kamaria stood and listened to the rest of the announcement. β€œIt is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory.” Rolling her eyes and ignoring the rest of the announcement Kamaria swam to the ladder and climbed out of the pool. Though she was surprised it was already one, meaning she had been swimming laps for three hours, she still disliked the fact that her time alone was interrupted. The night before most people had been at some party that, while she was tempted, Kamaria decided to opt out of in favor of having a chat with her dad. They had talked for hours about what had been going on in their lives since they only really spoke once a week due to time constraints and the fact that her father had a country to run. Reaching for her towel Kamaria heard the intercom click back on and looked up at the speaker device to hear the second announcement. β€œMr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you.” Chuckling Kamaria wrung out her hair before starting to quickly dry herself off. Looking over at Umi, who was curled up on the chair next to the one with her stuff on it, Kamaria flicked water at him before speaking. ”Hey.What do you think? Do we have time to run down to take a shower?” The black leopard uncurled and stepped off the chair, throwing Kamaria and look. ’Of course not. You don’t want to be late.’ Sighing Kamaria nodded. ”Fine, I guess you’re right.” Sufficiently dry Kamaria pulled on shorts over her bikini and shrugged into her leather jacket. After pulling her hair out she used a small wind to dry her hair so that it wasn’t dripping before pulling some out and braiding it around the rest of her hair, pulling it up off the leather and then wrapping a hair tie around it. Grabbing her bag and putting it on her left shoulder, the towel draped over her right arm, Kamaria looked back over at Umi. ”Come on then, I really don’t want to have to listen to Coulson about being late. Again.” As she walked over to the staircase Kamaria heard Umi give a huff and she laughed. ”Fine. Here.” Running back to the elevator she pressed the button and when the doors opened she reached in and pressed the button for L1, hopping out as Umi sat down in the metal deathtrap. ”Meet you at the bottom lazy.” Turning Kamaria jogged over to the stairs and jumped over the railing to the platform a level below. After a few more similar maneuvers and running down a lot of stairs, a few flights having been skipped with the help of flight, Kamaria leapt over the railing and landed on the platform that exited to L1. With a longing look thrown at the stairs that continued to go down Kamaria sighed and exited the stairwell, a smile on her face. Walking out into the hall the elevator dinged beside her and Umi stepped out of the elevator with a huff, walking over to her. ’I don’t know whether I should be more mad you did it or that I missed it.’ Laughing as she walked down the hallway with Umi, Kamaria looked to see Alfred standing beside the crate and sighed. ”Damn it. Not again…” Kamaria knew that the crate meant no weapons and, depending on the situation, no Umi. ”Good morning Miss Kamaria, I see you’ve brought Dumisami with you.” Walking up to Alfred Kamaria chuckled. Alfred was the only one to call Umi by his full name, even Coulson opting to use Umi when referring to Kamaria’s familiar, and the English accent made the African name sound hilarious. As Alfred held out his hands Kamaria sighed. ”You know, this is kind of ridiculous.” Alfred gave her a smile and nodded. ”Indeed, but necessary for the exercise.” At that moment Coulson looked over at Kamaria and raised a brow. ”You know, today’s exercise might be easier with shoes Kamaria” Looking down at her feet in exasperation Kamaria sighed and pulled a pair of flip flops out of her bag. Having been born and raised in Africa Kamaria had often preferred to go shoeless whether training or otherwise and the American custom was still strange to her. She then set her bag in the crate, and turned to walk away. Clearing his throat Alfred looked pointedly at Kamaria and she sighed. Pulling twin throwing daggers out of her short pockets Kamaria tossed them into the crate. ”Umi will leave once the training exercise starts.” Alfred nodded and Coulson, who had watched the scene, returned to his paperwork with a smirk. Looking around the room Kamaria saw who had gathered and sat a few seats away from everyone in the front row, turning to mentally speak to Umi. ’Well they can’t take my powers...’ Pointing a finger at Umi Kamaria manipulated a breeze to swirl around him, fluffing up his fur. Giggling at Umi she smirked as he growled and tensed to pounce at her.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." It took Jai awhile to register the alarm going off or even hear J.A.R.V.I.S to begin with. Jai was still deep in sleep enjoying the most pleasant dream that involved coconut bras and two lovely red headed friends of his. The alarm ruined that dream and Jai was forced to push himself up out of bed. Jai let his feet hit the ground and stretched his body while hearing a few joints pop from the process. Jai enjoyed his sleep very much. Almost as much as he enjoyed food and girls.

Jai stood up and began to zip around the room as he showered, brushed his teeth, changed, and ate breakfast in seconds. Once he was done, he ran just as fast down several flights of stairs since the elevator would only take longer for him. He reached the door and out of laziness, vibrated himself fast enough to past through it so he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of opening it himself. Jai was then greeted by Alfred. "Hey, Alfred. What are we doing today? Is it fun training exercises? Do we get to fight each other? We should so do that. I'd knock everyone down in a flash. Pun intended. Or are we final gonna go on some bad ass mission outside the school where we get to save the day. Imagine all the girls that would throw themselves at me after I save everyone since my powers are so awesome. I'm like a human vibrator..." Alfred used the second pause to raise his hand and Jai was silent for the brief moment. "Good morning, Master Jai. Cellphone please." Jai looked confused but then gave up his phone.

"Your ring too, sir. You'll get it back after class." Jai looked down at his ring and hesitated before eventually giving it to him. He would have just ran off and not given it away if he wasn't fortunate enough to have his hoodie made of the same material. It was the only thing that kept his powers from killing him. Jai ran into the rom and zipped around the area knocking over papers and books. He eventually stopped at the front next to Wren and looked over at Coulson and started firing away questions one after the other. "So what's going on today? And why do you have a bin full of weapons and my ring? Are we fighting each other? Is taking our stuff away supposed to keep us from killing each other? Wouldn't we kill each other by now? Is there gonna be food? What kind?" Jai kept going and going on and it was barely audible at this point unless someone had super fast hearing and could hear him talking about how he wanted tacos.

Jai finally stopped and took a breathe when he noticed Wren having an exchange with Magni. He immediately butted in and began talking just as fast as before with his best friend. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it. Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?" He looked over at Magni and grinned. It was his turn now. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?"

ADRIENNE STRANGE
attireβ”‚xXXβ€’XXsongβ”‚weatheredXXβ€’XXmoodβ”‚languid

Most would assume Adrienne to be a morning person. Intelligent, stoic, a complete perfectionist; such traits were often possessed by the likes of the organised early birds, up a the crack of dawn, prepared for the day before it even broke. But Adrienne is loathe to stereotypes, and this one in particular could not be further from the truth.

In truth, the girl was similar to a sloth in terms of sleeping patterns, and tended to remain enveloped in her star-adorned duvet long after her initial awakening, simply enjoying the coziness her beloved blankets brought, and perhaps keeping herself company with one of the many books that were stacked about the apartment.

This particular morning, Adrienne had awoken around ten-ish, and decided against getting up, instead opting for dozing, face warmed by the soft sunlight that filtered through her window's blinds. Then, after the novelty had started to wane, she'd climbed sluggishly out of bed, prepared some breakfast, and returned to her bed. A single slice of toast slotted between her lips as she held a book in one hand and a mug of hot chocolate in the other. She'd propped up some pillows as to soften the bed's backboard, and spent the next two and a half hours engrossed in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

It was halfway through chapter thirty that Adrienne's perusing was interrupted by a familiar English accent, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 1300 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Adrienne's glanced up at the speaker with furrowed eyebrows, before reluctantly folding down the corner of the book and clamoring out of bed. She passed the mirror, before backtracking as to get a better look at her reflection. A grizzled individual stared back, ebony hair a tangled mess and a chocolate fringe around her mouth from her morning beverage. Adrienne clicked her tongue, pondering the amount of time she had to adjust herself into an image at least slightly presentable. Her expression was skeptical. Fifteen minutes, huh? She sighed, shrugging. "Not likely."

Precisely ten minutes later, Adrienne had managed a quick shower -a severe change from her typical interminable soaks- and thrown on a typical outfit. Even during physical training, Adrienne could often be seen wearing her usual trench coat and trousers, as opposed to the more suitable attires of her 'classmates'. Sports bras and supersuits were hardly Adrienne's style, and she detested exercise about as much as she cherished slumber.

A minute after that, Adrienne was approaching the balding gentleman and his table of weaponry. Alfred knew better than to bother stopping her, and instead he offered her a raise of the eyebrow and a wry smile. "Slept in, Miss Strange?"

Adrienne offered him an equally satirical expression. "That implies an initial intent to get up early. I had nothing of the sort."

Alfred tutted disapprovingly, "Perhaps you should change that."

Adrienne passed him, raising her hands as her tied her dark locks up into a ponytail. "Perhaps. But I doubt I will."

The doors slid open with a smooth snickt, and Adrienne gazed around the room scrutinizingly. Her classmates had already begun to knot and bundle. The little groups dotted around the room like flies on fly paper, some significantly less comfortable than others. Catching sight of Nathaniel, Adrienne stepped to join him, only for Matthew to catch her eye. He was stationed by his lonesome, and even a girl as stony as Adrienne had to note his appearance of despondency with a hint of sympathy.

Just a hint, though.

Tucking her hands into her pockets, she approached his back, looking over him with perusal. A teasingly pitying look touched her features, "What a depressing sight."

Max sat leaning back in his chair as he watched the others file in. First came Magni, his brutish Asgardian acquaintance. Magni went straight towards Wren and the front of the classroom. Max had previously noted their odd friendship. It didn't fit, yet they always seemed to be around one another. A few others filed in before he saw the first of the the people he uually sat with enter the classroom. It was Cree. Max smiled at her as she rushed towards him, talking about her latest robotics project. She was always so excited when it came to these things. Not that Max minded, she was the only one he could get extremely nerdy with. He appreciated that part of their friendship, along with the mutual trust they had built.

While Cree was telling Max about her robotic dog, Max saw Aiden and Ethan walk in. Aiden took up his usual place near the back. He never sat with them in class. Max wondered why, but Aiden was odd, and it was best not to question him. Max knew Aiden was there when he was needed. Ethan walked toward them and waited patiently for the topic to change. Max nodded to him, but lost focus when he saw Liz Natchios step into the classroom. Max and Liz had an odd relationship to say the least. He was definitely attracted to her. She was just a little bit over bearing. He had an idea that she was crushing on him. It took a lot to make Max commit though. He was too much of a flirt, and he didn't want to give that up for just anything. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as she approached, and flashed his signature nervous smile towards her.

Max watched the rest of his fellow extra ordinary humans file in as small talk went on all around him. He was uncharacteristically quiet this morning. He was bothered by the fact that he was going to have to go into the training session without his suit. He always felt useless without it. Max knew he was still as smart, if not smarter, than anyone. He knew he could go fist to fist with most, but people like Magni and Bane would crush him. Those same people didn't dare try him when he had his suit on. They would much rather keep him as their ally. He just wasn't as confident without it. His inner musings were interrupted by the sight of Lilly entering the room. Max couldn't lie. He had a major thing for blondes. They weren't close or anything, but he always smiled anyways when he saw her. Max looked away and returned to his thoughts.

"I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" Magni said before sniffing the air and adding, "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." Wren almost did a double take at the comment not knowing if she should feel insulted or laugh. So she laughed, "Glad to know that I only stink like all the other 'puny mortals'." She said it in her best Magni impersonation. "Because... You know, Asgardians smell like Japanese cherry blossom." Ok so she'd be lying if she said Magni didn't smell pleasant like most men. It was apparent that not all Earthly things were foreign to him, such as showers and deodorant.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy. Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it. Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." Wren nodded her head in slight surprise at his knowledge of the subject. "You know Oh brutish one, that learning about other cultures is important... Like the Trojan horse. Ingenious idea if you think about it. Hiding in a structure depicting a religious matter to gain entrance to an impenetrable city." Wren knew Magni was stubborn and thought he was perfect in his knowledge the way he is. But everyone can learn something knew. "Even you can learn a thing or 2 from Earth's history.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move. You are as adequate company as the next. You are as uninteresting to me as the next." Wren scoffed, resting her arm on the back of the chair before her as Magni motioned towards the room. "Well don't you just know how to make a girl feel special? "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." Wren leaned towards him slightly, raising a curious brow. "So if you don't care if anyone sits near you... Then why choose to sit next to me? After all, I'm as 'uninteresting' as everyone else in here." He could play his tough act all he wanted but Wren knew that somewhere in there was a normal caring person. Plus people don't just choose to sit next to her unless they like her because she's annoying.

Wren knew Jai had entered before seeing him. Between the quick breeze of air, books knocking over then to the rapid fire at Coulson. It was only a matter of time before his attention shot in her direction. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it." Hell of a way to start a conversation. Wren glanced down at her bra, tugging at the top of it before looking back up at him. "Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?"

Wren shook her head, laughing. "First of all... FUCK! Man seriously!? You're dreaming of me in a tiny cocoanut bra!?" She raised her hand to smack him in the back of the head. "And you do realize making babies involves conception? With your speed you'd be what?... Done in 5 seconds, give or take. So how would someone who couldn't make it past half a minute supposed to work with someone who has stamina so high that they never sleep? Think on that for a minute." She grinned teasingly, "I need someone like Terminator over here." Wren playfully smacks Magni's bicep. "And we're talking about Magni's pent up unconditional love for me... It's quite moving."

Happy that it wasn't her turn anymore, Wren grabbed the back of the chair and leaned back so that Jai and Magni could see each other. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?" Wren started cracking up laughing before Magni could speak. She knew Magni would kick his ass. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God. Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy. I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle." Wren wouldn't actually mind it if they fought except for the fact she would almost guarantee that Jai would loose. And she liked the kid on occasion. "Did you know that Magni is a god? I didn't know that. It's not like he says it nearly every time he speaks." Wren grinned deviously towards Magni.

Phil sat somewhat patiently at the desk in the front of the classroom, strumming his fingers along the wooden surface. He wouldn't admit out loud that he was happy that class today was going to be brief... Well at least the portion including him. He glanced down at his watch. Upon seeing the time, Phil cleared his throat which got Alfred's attention. With their gaze met, he motion his index and middle finger beckoning Alfred to come join him. Luckily for Alfred, the crate containing the abundance of weapons was on wheels so he was easily able to roll in into the classroom and up to the front beside the desk. Phil then put up his hand motioning for everyone in the room to quiet down. "It's time to begin. Whomever isn't here... Well hopefully they show up before the training begins or they'll get an automatic failure for the exercise."

He looked over towards Alfred who then began to speak. "I know you all are less than content with the collection of your weaponry and gadgets upon entry. But for the sake of the exercise today we are limiting everyone to their basics... Which is quite literally the clothes on your back." Alfred reopens the crate before the classroom, "I apologize," He clears his throat, "Ms. Luther, your gauntlets and contact lenses if you have them in. Mr. Stark, your suit will have to remain in the classroom during the exercise. And Ms. Wakandas, Dumisami must either wait in the room during the exercise or return to your penthouse." Alfred addressed each of the students as he spoke. "If I have missed anything, or one of you are trying to pull a fast one on me please have some shred of decency to place the items in the crate." He motioned towards the crate before facing Phil slightly.

"Alright then," Phil spoke up once again, "As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. Well, if you can call them ordinary. Out of the kindness I have allowed you all extra time to sleep in... or do whatever it is you all do in the mornings." He made a shooing motion with his hand before continuing, "This exercise is going to test you all on varying levels that will exploit your weakest levels. Alfred and I have been around you all a long time. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are."

Before Phil felt like he was going to completely loose their attention, he decided to cut to the chase. "So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." It didn't take long for Wren to chime in, "What?... Like that cheesy movie with Kurt Russell?" Phil sighed, nodding his head, "In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian." It sounded simple enough right? Leave it to Wren to catch on, "... What's the catch?"

Phil smiled, which was indeed a rare sight. "Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses."

Before concluding, Alfred held up his index finger to interject. "You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Then Phil added, "And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night." He crossed his arms over his chest to show that he wasn't kidding before asking, "Any questions?"

Image"Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." Astrid responded. He nodded along and shrugged. He didn't even have a guess or care much for one. Whatever happened, happened. They were along for the ride once they entered the classroom. And Caleb was fairly certain he could take whatever came his way. "I should have had some coffee," she added after a moment.
"Maybe you should have." He agreed. "Obviously you need whatever substance you can to be in peak condition." He smirked at her.

When Astrid grabbed his arm he looked down at her hand then up at her startled face. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" Caleb followed her gaze to see Magni and Jai and Wren just kicking back. Magni looked moments away from throwing a punch, that much was right. "I don't know. Depends." To finish any prompts of what, he continued. "It depends if Jai moves fast enough or if Magni's that determined to hit him." He replicated a casual shrug and smile. Little fights were entitled to break out in the academy. Not everyone saw eye to eye and some people would literally ask to test the others skill. He didn't need his super hearing to gather that was likely the case. If it were a heated instance, the room would be upside down.

Phil begun his speech up the front of the class and Caleb glanced to Astrid. "Relax." She was such a den mother. When his ears caught to save the civilian. They didn't even get to pick their partners from a hat. Again, he looked to his closest company hearing Phil announce the pairs are based on relationships and similar power. The arena accounting for their strengths and weaknesses. Astrid and he struggled to work together so he was a little worried they'd be at each other's throat for this one. "Good guess," he muttered. He rolled his eyes back to the front and awaited the pairing.

Image"What a depressing sight." Matt simply cocked his head back to confirm the face to the voice he was familiar with and grinned. "Hey, stranger." He admittedly thought himself a little more clever than he was for playing on her name in that way. "I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." He shifted in his seat to look at her from a more comfortable position, making a show of wrapping his arm around the spare seat. "How have you been today anyway?" His grin returned and poor act dropped.

Pretty soon, Phil was gaining the students attention, causing him to turn back to the front. He didn't entirely like what was being said about exploiting weaknesses but at least he was outright about it. And then like Wren had asked he was waiting for the real punch line. "Er, that doesn't sound promising," he commented quietly. "We're pretty much an even pair right?" He asked Adrienne, though his focus shifted so intensely she could have crept away by that time. He just wanted to delude hope and be paired with someone he could have at least half trust. "Any questions?" Matt looked around. He personally had none for the moment but there were always those productive ones that he didn't think of until they were brought up.

"Well now that that is all taken care of... Your pairings." Phil walked back around the desk, flipping open the file folder that rested on top of the wooden surface. After a minute of fingering through papers, he grabbed a single page with an "Ah ha!" He moved back around towards the front of the desk, leaning back against it. "Well seeing as to how we are missing a few students there will be slight modifications to the pairings... And there will be one group of 3 instead of 2. I'll say the names of each group, and the floor number you will report to. Each floor has been configured to the arena designed for your particular group. The simulation won't start until you all are in the rooms with the doors shut. Until that point each area will look like a simple concrete room."

Phil could tell the students were slightly impatient to know who they were partnered with. But before that, Coulson wanted to leave them waiting a bit more. "Just a reminder... You all have only 5 minutes to save your civilian. And that can be a completely different task depending on the arena. It can vary between saving them, freeing them, protecting them or just reaching them. If your civilian dies, then you fail. Although they are just dummies, a shot through the head or falling into a pit of fire will kill them." He holds up his index finger, "If you die it will also result in a failure." Phil then proceeded to answer the question before it was asked, "And yes it is more than possible for you to die in there."

Mr. Coulson then proceeded to name off the pairings and floor numbers from his document.

OOC: Phil is only telling everyone their partners and floors. The arena descriptions is just for you all to know what it will be like when their simulations start in case you need to plan out what is going to happen in PMs or if you need to ask me any questions :)

If you die in there Anansi, I’ll rip him apart in ways even he can’t find funny. Liz swore mentally though their connection, though her eyes were fixed on the clown. The reassurance had been for Anansi’s benefit, but she made sure Jr. could hear it too. Liz was not as inherently hostile toward their resident joker as Anansi. The two had a grudging respect for the other’s capabilities, and while Liz would never call him a friend, there was a kind of secret appeal to sparing with someone no holds. Occasionally, their little game could even be entertaining, but if even one trigger happy finger was directed threateningly toward Anansi, Liz had no qualms practicing her telekinesis on Jr. Contorting him into a human pretzel was an art he might even appreciate.

As her companions began to move off toward their own partners, Liz directed her attention to her own unfortunate match up. There certainly were weaker or more volatile partners she might have been matched with, but Adrienne Strange had a way of getting under her skin. For some people, it would never matter that Liz craved the feeling of quiet in her own mind that most sane people took for granted, and it certainly didn’t matter that Liz almost never had the motivation or desire to dig through someone’s head past the surface thoughts she could never fully drown out. To them, the mere fact that she could do it was enough to make them cringe away from her, and it was a feeling she loathed. People with secrets, or even just an intense sense of privacy, would always resent her for something she hadn’t done or couldn’t control.

Even in those years she’d spent at her lowest, a mere shadow of herself within her own home, guarded eyes had followed her steps. And Scott Summers had so many secrets. His affair with Emma was one, shameful and partially known, except just how long it had gone on. Then there was the hypocritical resentment he felt toward Jean for the affair she’d had with Logan. Jean knew of course, at least partially, but then her shield were so much better than that of the younger budding telepath in his house, and mind reading was bad for a marriage. Whether purposely overlooked, or willfully ignored, the sheer depth of his bitterness was a subject locked tightly away. But of all those secrets, the one Scott Summers had always been the most afraid Liz would uncover, the one he knew Jean would never forgive him for, was that he wished she had died. Liz had been conceived, carried to term, and born while Jean was in the Phoenix state. No one had known if a human baby could even survive through that process, and Scott Summers had hoped, prayed even, that she wouldn’t. A part of him had always known, even then, that he wasn’t the forgiving type. Living with a constant reminder what Jean had done would make doing so impossible, but Scott couldn’t live without Jean. Liz always found it ironic that the only reason she knew any of that, was because he spent so much time worrying she’d see it within his mind in the first place.

I’ll meet you on our floor. Liz spoke in Adrienne’s mind as she headed for the door. The threat of being banned from the dance didn’t really faze Liz, but Anansi would want to go, date or not, and wouldn’t like it if all her friends weren’t there. Because of that, she wanted this exercise to go off without a hitch. And try not to cringe. We don’t know what we’ll be facing in there. Telepathic communication may be a vital advantage.

As far as graceful recoveries were concerned, Cree had managed better. Clinging to a chair like some chick with aviophobia before practically leaping away in front of a boy whose freckles she’d spent a bit too much time fantasizing about, only served to magnify her embarrassment. Ethan’s friendly concern was sweet, but didn’t do much to disguise the reddening of her cheeks, especially since it clashed with her hair.

He got up from his chair as she hit the floor, he moved over to her, clearing over-reacting about the current situation, "Are you alright, Cree?"

”Me? Yeah, fine, downright peachy! Utterly unbothered by…spontaneous lack of gravity…so cool…” Cree trailed off, eyes locking with Ethan’s. Would he be offended if I told him he had puppy dog eyes? That’s usually a compliment right? They’re all cute and brown and totally innocent looking. Honestly, who hates dogs, it’s totally a compliment!

Cree was luckily spared from uttering said compliment as Coulson detailed what their assignment was going to be for the day. Save the civilian was hardly an original training premise, but it was a classic. What really got her attention though, was Coulson’s banning of even her most basic tech, which meant she was going in totally blind. It was a situation she hardly found fair, and she pouted all the way through stripping off her gauntlets and taking out her contacts. At the mention of a dance however, Cree perked up, eyes straying to the closest Drake twin in his very casual duds. It was a pleasant thought for after class though, as the groups were announced and the crowd began to thin. Cree waved bye to Ethan and wished Max good luck, especially as they found themselves in roughly the same boat, before moving toward her teammates. As a rare group of three, there was a tactical advantage the Cree intended to capitalize on. Part of her wondered though, if that meant their course would be more challenging than average. Cree supposed they’d soon find out.

β€œInteresting match up here huh? You guys are both mutants, so that’s a plus. For sure, that’ll be good for any heavy lifting if there’s a combat element involved. I’ve been effectively neutered on that end, but I’m guessing if they threw me in the mix there’s likely to be some kind of tech based component. Any thoughts?” Cree asked immediately as she approached her teammates.

Renee had actually spent most of her time, brushing the last little bit of sleep from her thick lashes. She'd heard the goings on in the room, and watched with a idle smile on her face at nothing in particular. Until the dance was mentioned. SHe liked that she didn't need a reason to party, and a school sanctioned one just made it that much better. They wouldn't expect them to get up bright and early if they were to blame. Her large doll eyes darted around wondering with of these fellows would be bold enough to ask her out, until Mr. Coulson began with the teams. She listened closely to the names listed and once hers was called, she spotted her team mates. "Alright." She said with a grin, and stood up, her tiny frame skipping over to her new team mates. "Well, it's Ladies night, Girls, Ya'll ready?" She said, and couldn't possibly be any more Southern in her words just them.

Cree said, already thinking a head. Renee clicked her teeth. It was a little odd, she had to admit but Cree was smart, scary smart, and if Max and his father wasn't any indication, Genius was a superpower. "I'm not d'at physically strong, I mean, look at me. I'm fun size." She said gesturing to her tiny frame. "But, I d'ink wit' Pretty Princess 'ere, Strength should be covered." She said with a smile over to Kamaria and the large pet she somehow got inside the room. "I'm nothin' but energy," She offered with a shrug, as she played with her ponytail atop her head. "And Cree-girl, you can use that big brain of yours to crunch some numbers and plan ahead, isn't dat what your Daddy do? Like t'ink up some stuff on d'a fly .We could use t'at for sure" She offered in hopes of making the girl feel better about not having her tech. Renee herself didn't have her cards or her bo, not that she'd be fighting anyone anyway.
"C'mon, let's go give it a go, shall we?"she said and ws already making her way toward the elevator.

As Coulson called out teams Kamaria realized she was sitting on someone and jumped up, looking surprised when she sees it was Magni. Quickly jumping away she went to where Umi was and cuffed her ear. "You're lucky I can't retaliate here." The large cat simply looked at her before bumping his head against her legs. 'Sit down and shut up.' Kamaria did just that and after Coulson had finished listing the teams waited for her teammates to seperate themselves from their friends. Renee approached first, a big smile on her face. "Well, it's Ladies night, Girls, Ya'll ready?" Cree followed shortly after her. β€œInteresting match up here huh? You guys are both mutants, so that’s a plus. "C'mon, let's go give it a go, shall we?" "I'm right behind ya." Turning Kamaria gave Umi a quick kiss on the forehead ad cuffed his ear again. "See you later! You coming?" The second part was directed at Cree as she bolted to follow after Renee.

"Let's get this over and done with." Adrienne glanced at her partner only briefly, before opening the door and stepping into the chamber.

β€œI couldn’t agree more.” Liz replied coolly as she followed her partner inside their designated arena. Initially, the room was shrouded in darkness, making the clicking lock of the door sound all the more ominous. As the lights flashed on and illuminated the simplicity of their surroundings, the gravity vanished, leaving Liz and her partner floating in the air with a large metal sphere. Whether Adrienne liked it or not, Liz had no intention of letting them float about aimlessly. Without gravity it was even easier than usual for Liz’s telekinesis to move both herself and Adrienne about, and after righting their positions, Liz moved them cautiously toward the sphere.

β€œThe civilian must be in there. There isn’t anywhere else in the room they could be kept.” Liz murmured quietly to her partner, eyes fixed on the sphere. The glint of the metal was unique, and anyone who’d been trained under the tutelage of Tony Stark regarding trends in combative metals knew what Vibranium looked like.

β€œThat…is a problem.” Vibranium repelled kinetic energy, even if it was telekinetic, and in zero gravity any energy repelled back at them would meet with far less resistance and do more damage. They’d have to tread carefully. For time’s sake, Liz shared her analysis telepathically with her partner, quietly asking for input. β€œHave you ever used your magic on vibranium before?”

”Apply energy the right way, and it can be devastating.” Cree Replied to Renee’s denial of strength. Lack of physical bulk didn’t negate Renee’s usefulness or strength in a well-rounded sense in their upcoming challenge. Applied energy was definitely something Cree could work with, it would just depend what they were working with. When the conversation turned toward her father, the young genius was uncharacteristically quiet, but shrugged in non-commitment. What exactly did one say about a father like Lex Luthor? Master manipulator and cripplingly ambitious were probably more accurate descriptions of the man, but why drag that kind of muck up?

β€œWell for sure, but unless I’m arms deep in electrical circuits, I’m not going to be the best person to have in a fight if things get physical.” Cree shrugged, but accepted the praise from her teammates without much protest. She wasn’t trying to be down on herself, just analytical. Knowing the limits of ones capabilities and how to supplement for them was the first step in any good strategy. Renee and Kamaria were being nice of course, it was in their nature, but Cree still knew who had the superhero muscles so to speak in this situation.

β€œI wouldn’t miss it!” Cree called, grinning as she raced to catch up with her boisterous teammates. The crowd had begun to thin out, but she spared a wave toward the better looking of the Drake twins as she left. They’ve got to be recording these things right? How else could they be watching all the rooms at once and evaluate us? I could totally hack through the main firewall and watch his match, just to see how he did! That wouldn’t be too stalker-ish right? …Nah, I’m probably fine.
