ABILITIES/STRENGTHS

Master of Stealth
He treads lightly and is capable of sneaking up on other talented stealth individuals or breaching high security facilities.

Escapologist
A quick and sly escape is always available for Matthew. He bests his father in the skill and would dare to say, give Batman a good challenge.

Tracking
Matthew is trained in tracking like his father before him.

Master of Disguise
Should a case call for it, Matt can fall into any character or look.

Master Acrobat
Nightwing was an acrobat and the training and natural talent for the light foot, agility and dexterity has been passed on.

Master Martial Artist
Nightwing knew many fighting styles and techniques and passed it on to Matthew to be equally as talented in a number of styles.

WEAKNESSES

Human
"Isn't it self explanatory? No super healing. Breakable bones. The list goes on..."
Mortal and fragile. Compared to sups anyway.

Marksman Skills
He doesn't do guns. He doesn't know why but he doesn't particularly like them and does not have the greatest of aiming skills either.

ImagePERSONALITY:
♦Optimistic β™’Outgoing ♦Loyal β™’Talkative
He could be described as a misfit but he prefers shameless, unique and optimistic. He can accept goofy or dorky but he’s a light hearted soul and most things considered, a hard individual to bring down (attitude wise). It's probably a good thing he's not a super or genetically enhanced or modified in any way, otherwise his ego would be unbearable and probably make a tiresome man. He definitely has cheek to him and can test boundaries in moderation, but he is filled with good nature and means well.

He is relatively headstrong, and when it comes to sticking to what he believes, protection and loved ones, he is willing to stand alone and defend to the best of his ability. He accepts he may fall, but he's not willing to go down without one heck of a fight. Even when he hasn't be exposed to utter darkness yet.

Matt was born to a lady named Sarah, aware of Dick's extra curricular. As far as Matthew knew for majority of his life, everything was smooth sailing and Dick never took off night-shift, leaving Sarah to look after Matt alone. This worked for a few years before Sarah grew a lack of tolerance for being home bound each and every night. At the least, Sarah brought over a boy around Matt's age for company before disappearing into the night. Matt was a little slow to discover his mother sneaked out with her former lover who she also had a child to. Rather than the dramatic affair it could have been, it turns out it was an established relationship and Dick's visits lessened subtly. They just felt less bothered to hide it as time grew.

Turns out, school in Gotham wasn't the easiest on either boy. Matt struggled with Math and Sander struggled in PE and bully drama. The next time Matt saw Dick, he requested to be trained in fighting. Nightwing assumed it was a lead into a hunch of his life and crime fighting, but either way, he agreed he would train Matthew. And there was more to it than mere fighting. Stealth and agility could be as purposeful. The first time Matt put his training to use was in defense of Sander when the same ignorant bullies tried an assault. Matthew and Sander didn't get to revel in the achievement long when Batman and Nightwing appeared at the school a day later to inform Matthew of a school or 'academy' as Batman would insist, more suited for him and his potential abilities that his father had been teaching him. Matthew's eyes found Nightwing's who nodded in agreement. After just finding home and his own perks, he was being sent to a new location. He tried to ask if Sander could come too but they refused. Apparently there was a strict code on who was urged into the academy. The final persuading words got Matthew most though: "Maybe then you can return to Gotham and save people from a lot more than bullies. We have to retire some day."

Descendant Academy. School for the lucky few who are the offspring of the worlds leading heroes, superheroes, villains and vigilantes. Unlike any other schools, even Xavier's school for gifted youngsters. Here they are raised, trained, educated and prepared for what the world has in store. Some preparing to take up their parent's places, while others make their own identities. Each student here arriving at different points in their lives. But that's irrelevant.

It's another day just like any other in the Academy. Phil and Alfred take the elevators down to floor L1, making their way to the lecture hall. As they made their way down the long corridor, Phil glances over the paperwork in his hands while speaking, "J.A.R.V.I.S.?" "Yes sir?" He flips over another page in his folder before adding, "Send out the alarm." "Of course sir." After a moment or two J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice rang throughout every room in Descendant Tower, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Phil clears his throat, "J.A.R.V.I.S..." The computer's voice adds in his announcement to the building, "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you."

Alfred made his way around Phil, removing his key from his lapel, sliding it into the deadbolt and unlocking the door. He stood there, holding open the door for Coulson. "Such a late start today?" Phil laughed slightly while walking into the room, turning on the lights. "Well they aren't going to be happy about today's assignment. I figured I'd at least let them sleep in before they decided to hate me for the day," Phil smiled towards Alfred. He then walked up to the desk at the front of the room, setting down his files as Alfred enters after him asking, "May I ask what is on the agenda today?" Phil double checks his papers before replying, "Exercise 23."

Alred glanced over his shoulder at Phil, "I assume I'll be needing the crate?" Coulson chuckled as he took a seat at the front of the room. "I told you they weren't going to like us today Al."

Deadpool suit, top portion hanging on hips, black sports bra & Ray Bans

Wren never did sleep like everyone else did. The last time she remembers actually sleeping she was probably a teen and still adjusting to her strange abilities. But for years her stamina has made it nearly impossible for her to get tired enough to need sleep. So while everyone else usually slept she would wonder around Descendant Tower, read books or find something else to occupy her time. If one of her classmates saw her during that time that'd probably have a heart attack because she usually is silent... Sometimes. Ok well she talks to herself on occasion but that's not her fault she'd mentally unstable.

That evening she spent her solitary time reading Homer's the Iliad. Light reading right? Having as much free time as Wren had she had plenty of time to read books, and she didn't believe in reading the same book twice. She hadn't realized how much time had passed or how engrossed she was in the book until she heard J.A.R.V.I.S.'s announcement. Wren looked over at the clock on her wall, "1 o'clock already? Jesus Homer... Stop being so needy I have places to go." She slid a book mark into the novel, slightly frustrated that she was so close to the end and had to stop. "We will continue later Homes." She sets the book down on the window seat and walks over to the closet that is her bedroom in club of a penthouse.

Wren grabbed her suit that her father gave her from the closet and tossed it onto the bed. It wasn't always her favorite thing to wear but in this place, curve balls were thrown at them when they least expected it, and she'd hate to be caught off guard in jeans. Have you ever tried to kick ass in skinny jeans? Not that easy. But that didn't mean she wouldn't make the suit her own when she wore it. Wren wiggled into her suit, but only wore the pant portion leaving the top half to dangle from her waist like many people wear their overalls, her utility belt holding it up. Deciding to keep it simple she only wore a black sports bra as a top, not really giving a rat's ass what anyone would say. Wren definitely wasn't one to wear the cliche mask unless she went out in public, so she just tucked it away in her belt.

As she made her way towards the elevator, she grabbed her ipod and sunglasses from the table near the doors, then pressed the down button. While waiting Wren put on her Ray Bans, and put in her ear buds, pressing shuffle. The elevator opened as the song Chandelier by Sia begins to blast in her ears. She enters the elevator, pressing L1 before she begins to go down. As she slowly makes her descension, Wren begins to bounce around and dance to the music.

The doors open up to the main hall that leads down the center of floor L1. Once the doors were open completely, she slides out into the corridor like Tom Cruise belting out the lyrics to the song, "I'M GONNA SWINGGGGGG FROM THE CHANDELIERRRR!!!! FROM THE CHANDELIERRRRRR!!" Wren bobs her head, twirling and strutting down the long hallway not caring who sees her. "Help me, I'm holding on for dear life. Won't look down, won't open my eyes. Keep my glass full until morning light, 'cause I'm just holding on for tonight, On for tonight, On for tonigh-" Just as she reaches Alfred who's standing outside the classroom, she freezes mid-step, mid-song and mid-dance when she sees the crate sitting on the ground before him.

Wren pulls her earbuds out, "Al... please tell me you're just pulling a prank on me?" Alfred sent an apologetic smile towards her as he outstretches his right hand towards her. "I'm afraid not Miss Wilson... All weapons please." She rolled her eyes, scoffing slightly as she grabs the pair of pistols from her thigh holsters, setting it in Al's hand. He set the gun in the crate, then looked back towards her. "What!?" Al cleared his throat, motioning for her to hand over more. "Oh for fucks sake!" She reaches behind her back grabbing the pistol that was tucked into the back of her pants, setting it in his hand. She then bends over pulling 2 bowie knives that were tucked into her boots. Wren then holds out her hands before rotating in a circle so he can look her over. "Did I pass the inspection?" Al managed a soft chuckle before extending his hand once more, "Phone too miss." She growled, squinting her eyes as she set her phone in his palm. "You're lucky I like you pops."

Now that she was completely stripped of every comfort she had on her other than her clothing, Wren made her way into the classroom. She didn't hesitate to walk right up to the front row center, spinning a chair around so she could sit on it backwards, straddling the back. "You know, if we wanted to kill each other we would've already."

Black slacks, spats, black silk shirt with green question mark pattern, green suspenders & green bolder hat

Enzo, unlike most of his classmates, had his shit together for lack of a better term. He knew when class was before the bogus announcement from J.A.R.V.I.S. He was sure at that moment many of them would be stumbling out of bed and rushing to get ready and get to class in time. The thought made him chuckle as he finished shaving his face, then rinsed his face with water from the sink. Enzo looked back up at his reflection as his ran his wet hands back through his hair, slicking it back as he walked back out to his bedroom. Making his way over to his bed, he pushed his suspenders off of his shirtless torso letting them to fall to a rest on either side of his legs. He grabbed the black silk shirt covered with the green question marks, slipping his arms into the sleeves before he began to button it.

Enzo always enjoyed playing with the stereotype his father started behind the Riddler persona, taking pride in dressing similarly to how his dad used to. He always dressed in formal wear so it wasn't much different except everything he owned was either green, black or purple and almost always had a question mark on it somewhere. After all, he is the Riddler right? When his shirt was buttoned, he tucked it into his slacks, then tugged his suspenders back up. Tucking his cane under his left arm, he made his way towards the elevator. Enzo pressed the down button before reaching over and grabbing the green bolder hat that hung on the coat rack. And for his own amusement he flipped it up in the air, catching it perfectly atop his head just before the doors opened.

Patiently, Enzo road the elevator down the many floors towards level L1, resting his hands on his cane that he had standing before him. As the doors slid open he slowly made his way down the long corridor. The only sound to be heard was the clicking of his dress shoes on the tile and the tapping of the cane's base in sync with his stride. Upon reaching the class room he saw Al waiting. Enzo raised a suggestive brow before rolling his eyes. He didn't need to wait until Al extended his hand towards him to know what he wanted. Reluctantly, he held out his golden question mark cane. "Not a scratch Al."

After forfeiting his weapon Enzo entered the classroom, seeing the rather enthusiastic Wren sitting up front, seemingly bothering Phil. No doubt she was complaining about the restrictions to firearms and weapons in the classroom that day. Luckily for him, she was too preoccupied to notice his entrance and he'd rather keep it that way. So as quietly as he could, he slipped into a chair towards the back of the room. He then leaned back in his chair, crossing his feet and entangling his fingers in his lap patiently.

ImageHis tongue had found a way to poke out the corner of his mouth as he jabbed the control buttons rapidly, laying back on his bed. Jarvis came over the system, dulling his game to assure the vital announcements were heard by all and Matthew instinctively looked at the time though there wasn’t much changing he could do about a class. And it wasn’t as if in this instance it was of utter inconvenience. He turned off the console and screen and snatched up his phone heading over to the elevator. He pressed L1 and opened his favorite app as the elevator took it’s course. There was the rare calm class where he could sit and play on his phone under the desk and build his village more. It wasn’t always inconspicuous but in the more chilled classes, people didn’t pay it much attention. Plus, he tried not to make a habit of it. When the doors slid open, he proceeded, letting his peripheral vision guide him. However, when he heard certain clattering, he looked up and smiled. β€œAlfred.” Then he noticed the crate for weapon collection. Matthew didn’t have any on his being so went to bypass Alfred. β€œI’m afraid your phone will also have to be deposited for this lesson, Mr. Grayson.”
β€œWhat? No. I can’t. Not yet.” Alfred didn’t move but stared expectantly. Matthew swept to his side and showed him the game. β€œSee that?” He hovered his finger. β€œ5 more minutes then the cannon’s upgraded and I have enough gold to upgrade the archer tower. But I can’t do that right now, because with two defenses down my village will be susceptible to attack. Not to mention, I don’t have a builder free. And in this game, 5 minutes makes all the difference in the world. And I’m saving my gems to purchase shields. But I gotta spend the gold asap otherwise it will be raided.” After a moments of silence and evident lack of shared enthusiasm, Matthew side-glanced to Alfred.
β€œA fine strategy and good maintenance over a poorly animated village, sir. However, if you’d care to make my duty easier…”
Matt's lips pulled to the side and he dropped his phone in the crate then walked into the class.

When his eyes fell on Wren and registered her sports bra on display, he felt like he had walked into a girls bathroom and was invading her privacy. He shielded her from his vision and found any available seat to him, pressing his palm to his temple until he got his shit together. Like you've never seen a girl in a bikini before. Slowly he dragged his hand down his face. The class was filling and buzzing with chit-chat. He leaned his head back searching for his friends. Anansi was around but near the back with Tommy. And much as he loved the buzzing girl, it wasn't worth tension in the air. Even Liz was back that way. Wren preoccupied in Magni. Adrienne, nowhere to be seen. And a little cluster in the middle. So alone would do him for now. It'd be easier with his game but that was apparently not an option.

ImageRenee had been awake about a two hours before J.AR.V.I.S' message. After Anansi's party, she'd gone to bed, without changing so she made it a point to wake up earlier to take a nice long bathe....that took her a bit longer than she intended. She dressed in her combat gear, but she took her time with her make up and hair. She was battle ready that didn't mean she had to look bummy. By the time she was done, she was impressively late.

She grabbed her cards and her father's bo staff and made her way to L1 where Alfred greeted her. "Morning, Ms. Lebeau." He said and she smiled politely, coughing up her cards, the bo staff that she twisted and compacted into a 6 inch baton, also removed her phone as well. "G'Mornin', Mr. Pennyworth, you must forgive mah tardiness," she said with her southern drawl and cajun flare. "You made it just in time, Ms. Lebeau, though this it new for you." He said and she shrugged. "I know, and I'm so sorry, it's just been one of d'em mornin's, can't say it won't 'appen again, but I'll try mah best." The cajun girl said and Alfred gave her a smile and let her pass. "Very Good, Ms. Lebeau"

Once inside, she scanned the room. Everyone was pretty much there. Alfred was right, it was new, she was rarely late for classes, but the bath she took, a little longer then she intended, but it was worth it, she smelled of lavender, and it followed her into the room.

"Hey, Renee!" Anansi called, waving from where she sat with Tommy and Liz. "Hey, Suga!" she said, with a finger wave before making her way toward the twins. Her oldest and closest friends. "Mornin' boys. Cree-girl." she said, as she blew all kisses as she took a seat beside Aiden. "Sorry, I'm late, but it takes time to look dis good." she said gesturing to herself with a laugh. "Just teasin"

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." It took Jai awhile to register the alarm going off or even hear J.A.R.V.I.S to begin with. Jai was still deep in sleep enjoying the most pleasant dream that involved coconut bras and two lovely red headed friends of his. The alarm ruined that dream and Jai was forced to push himself up out of bed. Jai let his feet hit the ground and stretched his body while hearing a few joints pop from the process. Jai enjoyed his sleep very much. Almost as much as he enjoyed food and girls.

Jai stood up and began to zip around the room as he showered, brushed his teeth, changed, and ate breakfast in seconds. Once he was done, he ran just as fast down several flights of stairs since the elevator would only take longer for him. He reached the door and out of laziness, vibrated himself fast enough to past through it so he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of opening it himself. Jai was then greeted by Alfred. "Hey, Alfred. What are we doing today? Is it fun training exercises? Do we get to fight each other? We should so do that. I'd knock everyone down in a flash. Pun intended. Or are we final gonna go on some bad ass mission outside the school where we get to save the day. Imagine all the girls that would throw themselves at me after I save everyone since my powers are so awesome. I'm like a human vibrator..." Alfred used the second pause to raise his hand and Jai was silent for the brief moment. "Good morning, Master Jai. Cellphone please." Jai looked confused but then gave up his phone.

"Your ring too, sir. You'll get it back after class." Jai looked down at his ring and hesitated before eventually giving it to him. He would have just ran off and not given it away if he wasn't fortunate enough to have his hoodie made of the same material. It was the only thing that kept his powers from killing him. Jai ran into the rom and zipped around the area knocking over papers and books. He eventually stopped at the front next to Wren and looked over at Coulson and started firing away questions one after the other. "So what's going on today? And why do you have a bin full of weapons and my ring? Are we fighting each other? Is taking our stuff away supposed to keep us from killing each other? Wouldn't we kill each other by now? Is there gonna be food? What kind?" Jai kept going and going on and it was barely audible at this point unless someone had super fast hearing and could hear him talking about how he wanted tacos.

Jai finally stopped and took a breathe when he noticed Wren having an exchange with Magni. He immediately butted in and began talking just as fast as before with his best friend. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it. Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?" He looked over at Magni and grinned. It was his turn now. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?"

Magni eyed Wren curiously as she seemed to space out. Once she spoke again he was still rather confused. What was she talking about? "I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" He asked. He then sniffed the air to get a good whiff of her odor. "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." He assured her. Why she would care if others sat near her was beyond him. He didn't care either way. Everyone was of little concern to the Asgardian Prince. Though he did find Wren....amusing at times.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy." He stated. Thor had made it a point for him to be familiarized with some of the Midgard literature. "Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it." He explained. "Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." He added with a note of contempt. Pfft, Greek Gods, as if. His attention was then brought back to Wren as she motioned around them.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move." He asserted. "You are as adequate company as the next." He assured her. "You as uninteresting to me as the next." He added as he gestured around them. "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." He stated in a rather cold manner that is common for him. He wasn't really trying to make her feel better or anything, he was just stating his opinion.

And then they were joined by Jai West, the son of the Flash. Magni was barely able to keep up with his super fast speaking as he spoke to Wren. And then he turned to Magni. Magni rolled his eyes as he spoke. Like super strong? Sort of a God? He was super strong, and he was a God. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God." He corrected the speedster. "Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy." Magni replied as he cracked his knuckles with a rather bloodthirsty look in his eye. "I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle."

[color-#000052]"I don't need charity."[/color] Tommy replied to Anasri's offer. He looked down at his hands as he twiddled his thumbs. "Well, in all fairness Magni is a lot lighter on his feet than he appears. Seriously, I bet he'd be a good dancer if you know he didn't want to go all Conan the Barbarian on everything." Tommy pointed out followed by a slight chuckle as he imagined Magni dancing. "Besides, isn't that kinda cheap talk coming from you guys? You guys have always had powers. Webhead you're about as fast, and agile as me without even trying. And Liz....well you can probably bench press as much as I can without using your arms."

"Meh whatever. I can be just as adaptable with my claws." Tommy added as he placed his hands behind his head, and leaned back in his chair. They were soon interrupted by the arrival of Renee, fashionably late of course. Tommy gave her a small nod hello. He then noticed Matt in the room, and slightly scuffed at his presence. "Well there's the nephew. Wonder where the niece is?" He muttered to himself. Well it was loud enough for those near him to hear him, but it was not directed to anyone.

Tommy chuckled slightly to himself as he thought of ways to mess with Matt. Since he had to give up his phone he could easily steal it from the old man, and feel it full of dude-on-dude action. Or maybe just animals going at it. He's not quite sure which would be funnier. He then glanced over at Liz who probably heard his thoughts about pranking Matt. 'Don't judge me. I'm a petty, petty man.' He thought to himself in case she was listening in on him.

ADRIENNE STRANGE

Most would assume Adrienne to be a morning person. Intelligent, stoic, a complete perfectionist; such traits were often possessed by the likes of the organised early birds, up a the crack of dawn, prepared for the day before it even broke. But Adrienne is loathe to stereotypes, and this one in particular could not be further from the truth.

In truth, the girl was similar to a sloth in terms of sleeping patterns, and tended to remain enveloped in her star-adorned duvet long after her initial awakening, simply enjoying the coziness her beloved blankets brought, and perhaps keeping herself company with one of the many books that were stacked about the apartment.

This particular morning, Adrienne had awoken around ten-ish, and decided against getting up, instead opting for dozing, face warmed by the soft sunlight that filtered through her window's blinds. Then, after the novelty had started to wane, she'd climbed sluggishly out of bed, prepared some breakfast, and returned to her bed. A single slice of toast slotted between her lips as she held a book in one hand and a mug of hot chocolate in the other. She'd propped up some pillows as to soften the bed's backboard, and spent the next two and a half hours engrossed in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

It was halfway through chapter thirty that Adrienne's perusing was interrupted by a familiar English accent, "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 1300 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne."

Adrienne's glanced up at the speaker with furrowed eyebrows, before reluctantly folding down the corner of the book and clamoring out of bed. She passed the mirror, before backtracking as to get a better look at her reflection. A grizzled individual stared back, ebony hair a tangled mess and a chocolate fringe around her mouth from her morning beverage. Adrienne clicked her tongue, pondering the amount of time she had to adjust herself into an image at least slightly presentable. Her expression was skeptical. Fifteen minutes, huh? She sighed, shrugging. "Not likely."

Precisely ten minutes later, Adrienne had managed a quick shower -a severe change from her typical interminable soaks- and thrown on a typical outfit. Even during physical training, Adrienne could often be seen wearing her usual trench coat and trousers, as opposed to the more suitable attires of her 'classmates'. Sports bras and supersuits were hardly Adrienne's style, and she detested exercise about as much as she cherished slumber.

A minute after that, Adrienne was approaching the balding gentleman and his table of weaponry. Alfred knew better than to bother stopping her, and instead he offered her a raise of the eyebrow and a wry smile. "Slept in, Miss Strange?"

Adrienne offered him an equally satirical expression. "That implies an initial intent to get up early. I had nothing of the sort."

Alfred tutted disapprovingly, "Perhaps you should change that."

Adrienne passed him, raising her hands as her tied her dark locks up into a ponytail. "Perhaps. But I doubt I will."

The doors slid open with a smooth snickt, and Adrienne gazed around the room scrutinizingly. Her classmates had already begun to knot and bundle. The little groups dotted around the room like flies on fly paper, some significantly less comfortable than others. Catching sight of Nathaniel, Adrienne stepped to join him, only for Matthew to catch her eye. He was stationed by his lonesome, and even a girl as stony as Adrienne had to note his appearance of despondency with a hint of sympathy.

Just a hint, though.

Tucking her hands into her pockets, she approached his back, looking over him with perusal. A teasingly pitying look touched her features, "What a depressing sight."

Liz found the thought of Magni dancing more comical than she cared to admit considering her dislike of the Asgardian. The image of the mighty Magni in tights and tutu begged to be shared, but she made no further comment on the matter. Tommy had a tendency to engage in the kind of brooding that lashed out at others, particularly those trying to get close to him. Liz wasn’t about to judge someone for that all things considered, but she’d prefer to keep Anansi from becoming one of its targets. If that meant letting him focus his frustration at her, Liz hardly minded. She knew why he felt the way he did.

β€œPerhaps, but what happens when the day comes where we don’t have them, even temporarily? Powers become like a second limb, an integral part of our existence, much less sense of self. We reply on them, and that’s a weakness. Take them away -and there are ways- and it can cripple. Sometimes it even breaks them.” Liz intoned, not all the way there. Some of the chairs in the classroom, empty and occupied, began to shake, a few even lifting a bit into the air. They continued like that for a moment before a scarlet flash streaked across the classroom. Liz blinked, and the chairs settled back into place.

Liz’s mind was drawn back towards her companions as she felt Tommy focus on Matt. It was an aggression that was perhaps misplaced, but Liz wasn’t about to tell him how to feel. Liz felt his thoughts turn toward her slightly, picking up on his mental message. She shrugged, finding the thought amusing, and her lip even curled conspiratorially. You’re better off wreaking havoc with his apps.

It might have been because of her conversation over robotics with Max Stark. Maybe it was the fact she’d spend all morning deep in coding mode while isolated in her lab. Whatever the reason, as Ethan Drake dropped his gorgeous pajama-ed self down next to Max with a completely socially acceptable, if a bit generic, greeting, Cree devolved in to full on psychobabble mode. Seriously, it wasn’t pretty.

β€œA vector pointing in the direction opposite that of gravity. Or a preposition, depends context…” Her comment hung awkwardly in the air for a moment as Cree processed what had just come out of her mouth. The attempted recovery didn’t fare much better.

β€œHey Ethan! Where’s your suit? Not that you don’t look good in pajamas or anything, because you do. Nice fit.” Cree assured quickly. β€œThe suit’s just more skin tight you know, so it’s better…more aerodynamic…” She finished lamely. Dead in the water Luthor…

The arrival of Elizabeth Natchios into their little group interrupted her embarrassing commentary, but was hardly a welcome addition, at least in Cree’s mind. There was a mutual dislike that existed between the two girls, and Cree honestly didn’t know what Max saw in her. At least outside of that whole blonde hair, blue eyes, classically beautiful thing she had going on. Cree wrinkled her nose at Elizabeth, not missing the look miss hyper-organized shot at Ethan. Either way it wasn’t Cree’s job to screen Max’s friends for him, he was a big boy and could make grown up decisions for himself, but that didn’t mean she had to like them.

Cree might have even said something to that effect, were it not for the fact her chair started shaking and lifted a good three feet into the air. β€œNewton’s hairy butthole! WHAT THE HELL LIZ?!” Cree wasn’t afraid of heights or anything, but being lifted into the air by someone’s mind without warning had a startling effect. If she didn’t want me to talk to her on the elevator anymore, she could have just said so!

It only lasted for a moment before Cree and her chair were dropped back on the floor. β€œJesus, someone ate their Wheaties this morning…” Cree uttered as she clamored out of the chair. She suddenly felt the need to have two feet firmly planted on the ground, and standing would do just fine.

Lilith was training which was never really a hobby like it was for others but it was more of a necessity for her. So many others had some higher level of fighting skill or strength, meanwhile her powers could be countered and were based on manipulation. She needed physical power behind her small frame rather than rely on some superman, or someone of the sort to rescue her.
"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." With that, she sighed out gently patting the boxing bag and threw on her cardigan. "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you." She smiled slightly and moved to the elevator. L1. Behind her back, she entwined her own fingers together.

When she saw Alfred waiting, she tilted her head. "All good news I hope?" She gestured to the crate.
"That depends on how you care to interpret it. Your weapons will have to be temporarily surrendered from this point on, Miss Isley."
Her brows shot up with an amused smile. "Unlike my fellow acquaintances I don't play armed and paranoid carrying those objects around. Besides, not all weapons can be surrendered." She tapped her lips in hint then smiled sweetly. "May I pass?"
With an evident internal sigh and even roll of the eyes Alfred responded, "Go right ahead."
She brushed pass him, joining the others. She scanned her options as her pace slowed around the room. One row from the back would have to do her, seeing as the back row consisted of an interesting make-up. She turned her chair to face Enzo and Nathaniel.
And dear Enzo looked to be agitated. She smiled a little, assuming Aiden found some nerve switch of his but would quickly become preoccupied in Renee. For now though, she stayed quiet as a spectator, scanning the peculiar back row.

ImageThere was a random burst of air beside her, followed by Caleb to be revealed in the seat so casually and a big fat bright grin of his. Well it was only a guess of two when flying colors flashed towards people in here. Jai or Caleb.
She could only pray this would be one of their tame conversations, from whatever departed his mouth. Of course it bothered her to bits and probably other women that he countered his attractive looks by some of the things he said and boasting. Such a waste of potential. "Hey, Astrid. Thena. Training sesh at this time... What do you think's up with that?" He couldn't have said it in a more detached tone if he tried. But at least it was tame. Astrid glanced to Thena, seeing if she could magically provide some satisfactory answer for him. "Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." She supplied her response anyway.
"I should have had some coffee," she muttered as the likelihood kicked in.

Her eyes shifted back to the front of the class and she saw Magni giving Jai one of his lust for battle looks as he cracked his knuckles. She grabbed Caleb's arm ready to push him forward as interference if need be. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" She asked wide eyed.

Max sat leaning back in his chair as he watched the others file in. First came Magni, his brutish Asgardian acquaintance. Magni went straight towards Wren and the front of the classroom. Max had previously noted their odd friendship. It didn't fit, yet they always seemed to be around one another. A few others filed in before he saw the first of the the people he uually sat with enter the classroom. It was Cree. Max smiled at her as she rushed towards him, talking about her latest robotics project. She was always so excited when it came to these things. Not that Max minded, she was the only one he could get extremely nerdy with. He appreciated that part of their friendship, along with the mutual trust they had built.

While Cree was telling Max about her robotic dog, Max saw Aiden and Ethan walk in. Aiden took up his usual place near the back. He never sat with them in class. Max wondered why, but Aiden was odd, and it was best not to question him. Max knew Aiden was there when he was needed. Ethan walked toward them and waited patiently for the topic to change. Max nodded to him, but lost focus when he saw Liz Natchios step into the classroom. Max and Liz had an odd relationship to say the least. He was definitely attracted to her. She was just a little bit over bearing. He had an idea that she was crushing on him. It took a lot to make Max commit though. He was too much of a flirt, and he didn't want to give that up for just anything. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind as she approached, and flashed his signature nervous smile towards her.

Max watched the rest of his fellow extra ordinary humans file in as small talk went on all around him. He was uncharacteristically quiet this morning. He was bothered by the fact that he was going to have to go into the training session without his suit. He always felt useless without it. Max knew he was still as smart, if not smarter, than anyone. He knew he could go fist to fist with most, but people like Magni and Bane would crush him. Those same people didn't dare try him when he had his suit on. They would much rather keep him as their ally. He just wasn't as confident without it. His inner musings were interrupted by the sight of Lilly entering the room. Max couldn't lie. He had a major thing for blondes. They weren't close or anything, but he always smiled anyways when he saw her. Max looked away and returned to his thoughts.

"I thought you could not become ill? How would you have the plague?" Magni said before sniffing the air and adding, "And as for your odor, it is no more unpleasant than the next human." Wren almost did a double take at the comment not knowing if she should feel insulted or laugh. So she laughed, "Glad to know that I only stink like all the other 'puny mortals'." She said it in her best Magni impersonation. "Because... You know, Asgardians smell like Japanese cherry blossom." Ok so she'd be lying if she said Magni didn't smell pleasant like most men. It was apparent that not all Earthly things were foreign to him, such as showers and deodorant.

"Yes, the Iliad. Sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion, or the Song of Ilium. By the author Homer. Depicting the destruction of Troy. Father thought it best if I was familiar with human literature. I do not see the point in it. Greeks are so......dramatic. A feeble people to be sure." Wren nodded her head in slight surprise at his knowledge of the subject. "You know Oh brutish one, that learning about other cultures is important... Like the Trojan horse. Ingenious idea if you think about it. Hiding in a structure depicting a religious matter to gain entrance to an impenetrable city." Wren knew Magni was stubborn and thought he was perfect in his knowledge the way he is. But everyone can learn something knew. "Even you can learn a thing or 2 from Earth's history.

"No. I have already decided to sit here. I shan't move. You are as adequate company as the next. You are as uninteresting to me as the next." Wren scoffed, resting her arm on the back of the chair before her as Magni motioned towards the room. "Well don't you just know how to make a girl feel special? "Besides, what evidence do you have that you are the reason they avoid sitting up here? Perhaps it is me. Not that I care. Makes no difference to me if you, or anyone sits near me." Wren leaned towards him slightly, raising a curious brow. "So if you don't care if anyone sits near you... Then why choose to sit next to me? After all, I'm as 'uninteresting' as everyone else in here." He could play his tough act all he wanted but Wren knew that somewhere in there was a normal caring person. Plus people don't just choose to sit next to her unless they like her because she's annoying.

Wren knew Jai had entered before seeing him. Between the quick breeze of air, books knocking over then to the rapid fire at Coulson. It was only a matter of time before his attention shot in her direction. "Hi Wren. Nice bra. Is it new? I like it." Hell of a way to start a conversation. Wren glanced down at her bra, tugging at the top of it before looking back up at him. "Makes me think of this dream I had that you were in except the bra was coconuts and the coconuts were a lot smaller because that make the dream better. It still looks nice though. But you always look nice since your hot. I'm hot too. If we're both hot, that means we should make babies so that way the world gets more hotness. But I don't want babies. Babies are gross and I'm still sort of a baby because of that whole speed force thing. So no babies. What are you and Magni talking about?"

Wren shook her head, laughing. "First of all... FUCK! Man seriously!? You're dreaming of me in a tiny cocoanut bra!?" She raised her hand to smack him in the back of the head. "And you do realize making babies involves conception? With your speed you'd be what?... Done in 5 seconds, give or take. So how would someone who couldn't make it past half a minute supposed to work with someone who has stamina so high that they never sleep? Think on that for a minute." She grinned teasingly, "I need someone like Terminator over here." Wren playfully smacks Magni's bicep. "And we're talking about Magni's pent up unconditional love for me... It's quite moving."

Happy that it wasn't her turn anymore, Wren grabbed the back of the chair and leaned back so that Jai and Magni could see each other. "Magni, you're like super strong, right? Would yo let me punch you? Alex was telling me some thing about force and how if I run super fast, I can make enough force to knock out a god and you're sort of a god so can I punch you and see if it works?" Wren started cracking up laughing before Magni could speak. She knew Magni would kick his ass. "My strength knows no bounds, and I am a God. Very well. Only if you give me the same curtsy. I wish to see a human body turned into a puddle." Wren wouldn't actually mind it if they fought except for the fact she would almost guarantee that Jai would loose. And she liked the kid on occasion. "Did you know that Magni is a god? I didn't know that. It's not like he says it nearly every time he speaks." Wren grinned deviously towards Magni.

Phil sat somewhat patiently at the desk in the front of the classroom, strumming his fingers along the wooden surface. He wouldn't admit out loud that he was happy that class today was going to be brief... Well at least the portion including him. He glanced down at his watch. Upon seeing the time, Phil cleared his throat which got Alfred's attention. With their gaze met, he motion his index and middle finger beckoning Alfred to come join him. Luckily for Alfred, the crate containing the abundance of weapons was on wheels so he was easily able to roll in into the classroom and up to the front beside the desk. Phil then put up his hand motioning for everyone in the room to quiet down. "It's time to begin. Whomever isn't here... Well hopefully they show up before the training begins or they'll get an automatic failure for the exercise."

He looked over towards Alfred who then began to speak. "I know you all are less than content with the collection of your weaponry and gadgets upon entry. But for the sake of the exercise today we are limiting everyone to their basics... Which is quite literally the clothes on your back." Alfred reopens the crate before the classroom, "I apologize," He clears his throat, "Ms. Luther, your gauntlets and contact lenses if you have them in. Mr. Stark, your suit will have to remain in the classroom during the exercise. And Ms. Wakandas, Dumisami must either wait in the room during the exercise or return to your penthouse." Alfred addressed each of the students as he spoke. "If I have missed anything, or one of you are trying to pull a fast one on me please have some shred of decency to place the items in the crate." He motioned towards the crate before facing Phil slightly.

"Alright then," Phil spoke up once again, "As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. Well, if you can call them ordinary. Out of the kindness I have allowed you all extra time to sleep in... or do whatever it is you all do in the mornings." He made a shooing motion with his hand before continuing, "This exercise is going to test you all on varying levels that will exploit your weakest levels. Alfred and I have been around you all a long time. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are."

Before Phil felt like he was going to completely loose their attention, he decided to cut to the chase. "So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." It didn't take long for Wren to chime in, "What?... Like that cheesy movie with Kurt Russell?" Phil sighed, nodding his head, "In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian." It sounded simple enough right? Leave it to Wren to catch on, "... What's the catch?"

Phil smiled, which was indeed a rare sight. "Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses."

Before concluding, Alfred held up his index finger to interject. "You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Then Phil added, "And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night." He crossed his arms over his chest to show that he wasn't kidding before asking, "Any questions?"

Image"Hi. And I don't know? Likely something physical and of mild intensity at the least." Astrid responded. He nodded along and shrugged. He didn't even have a guess or care much for one. Whatever happened, happened. They were along for the ride once they entered the classroom. And Caleb was fairly certain he could take whatever came his way. "I should have had some coffee," she added after a moment.
"Maybe you should have." He agreed. "Obviously you need whatever substance you can to be in peak condition." He smirked at her.

When Astrid grabbed his arm he looked down at her hand then up at her startled face. "He's not actually going to hit him is he?" Caleb followed her gaze to see Magni and Jai and Wren just kicking back. Magni looked moments away from throwing a punch, that much was right. "I don't know. Depends." To finish any prompts of what, he continued. "It depends if Jai moves fast enough or if Magni's that determined to hit him." He replicated a casual shrug and smile. Little fights were entitled to break out in the academy. Not everyone saw eye to eye and some people would literally ask to test the others skill. He didn't need his super hearing to gather that was likely the case. If it were a heated instance, the room would be upside down.

Phil begun his speech up the front of the class and Caleb glanced to Astrid. "Relax." She was such a den mother. When his ears caught to save the civilian. They didn't even get to pick their partners from a hat. Again, he looked to his closest company hearing Phil announce the pairs are based on relationships and similar power. The arena accounting for their strengths and weaknesses. Astrid and he struggled to work together so he was a little worried they'd be at each other's throat for this one. "Good guess," he muttered. He rolled his eyes back to the front and awaited the pairing.

Image"What a depressing sight." Matt simply cocked his head back to confirm the face to the voice he was familiar with and grinned. "Hey, stranger." He admittedly thought himself a little more clever than he was for playing on her name in that way. "I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." He shifted in his seat to look at her from a more comfortable position, making a show of wrapping his arm around the spare seat. "How have you been today anyway?" His grin returned and poor act dropped.

Pretty soon, Phil was gaining the students attention, causing him to turn back to the front. He didn't entirely like what was being said about exploiting weaknesses but at least he was outright about it. And then like Wren had asked he was waiting for the real punch line. "Er, that doesn't sound promising," he commented quietly. "We're pretty much an even pair right?" He asked Adrienne, though his focus shifted so intensely she could have crept away by that time. He just wanted to delude hope and be paired with someone he could have at least half trust. "Any questions?" Matt looked around. He personally had none for the moment but there were always those productive ones that he didn't think of until they were brought up.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is now 13 00 hours. I have been requested to inform you that class will begin in 15 minutes on floor L1. Attendance is mandatory. Those whom do not attend will have to answer to Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne." Alex initially ignored him. She didn't care for showing up to class today she wasn't I the mood and she could simply use Bruce to her advantage this time. "Mr. Coulson would also like me to remind you that even the children of Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne are subject to equal punishment for not attending. Thank you." Alex tossed in her bed. "Fuck."

"The one time a month I actually get sleep in and this fucking school is making me show up to class." Alex mumbled as she pushed herself out of bed. Her bed was hardly ever used and went back in it's little hiding compartment once she was out. Her penthouse had a very futuristic feel to it with hand scanners to deploy the hidden features of the room, her own lab, and a complete weapons arsenal that was enough to make Deadpool wet. She put her hand on one of the panels and a door slid open. She slipped into her closet and changed before popping back out and taking her pick on weapons for today.

Alex went into her weapons room next to decide what toys she wanted for the day. She grabbed her favorite Colt 1911 and strapped it to the left side of her hip and also grabbed the tiny but still deadly Colt Mustang. Her 1911 held actual bullets in it while she used the Mustang as another way to concentrate her starbolts through. The amount of blades she grabbed next were too many to count and she finished it off with a few little bombs and gadgets of hers.

Now that she was loaded up, it was time to head to class.

Alex must've had terrible timing because once she was in the elevator... He was there. Alex stared forward and did her best to ignore him. "Well, well, well... What do we have hear." Alex attempted to try and listen to anything else but him but it didn't work. She just needed to keep her cool for long enough. Though that was unlikely. And of course, he continued to antagonize her. "You're dressed a lot like your father today. Is it a special occasion? His birthday, perhaps? Do tell so I can run a little message along to him." He began to laugh and Alex clenched her fists as he continued. "Though I'm not sure he's in any position to be receiving messages." He pointed at the ring around her neck that belonged to Jason.

That was it. Alex wasn't going to take the high road.

Alex spun around and landed a fist square onto his nose. Junior flew to the back of the elevator laughing with a very much broken and bloody nose. "Tsk tsk, Alex. What would Bruce think?" The elevator stopped at their floor and Alex grabbed him by his green shirt before tossing him out onto the floor and then hitting him with another Tamaranean punch. All Junior did was laugh.

Alex picked him up again and punch him scared in the Jaw. She made sure it was hard enough to make him slam against the classroom doors. Alex then tackled him they both came crashing through the door. Junior was actually fighting back at this point for the sake of getting out. He landed a few good hits on Alex but he looked much worse than her. Alex punched him again and then lifted him up with her Mustang up under his chin and it began to glow green. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blast your head off right now."

"I can give you three." It was Coulson. "One, you'll go to Arkham Prison... Again. Two, you get to deal with the Wrath of Bruce. And three, no dance for you." Alex let go of Junior only because of the threat for going to prison. The others didn't phase her.

Alfred came in front of her with a bin. "You're weapons, Master Todd." Alex was reluctant to give up her babies but she did eventually comply. She put her two guns in first before taking off her blaster. Now it was time to grab her knives. She took out one that was tied around her neck and under her shirt, another small one hidden in her sleeve, the throwing stars in her inside jacket pocket, the one strapped horizontally on the back of her belt, another in her pocket, and two in her boots. Alfred shook the bin. "Everything." Alex sighed and grabbed the bombs she hid in her jacket and the other gadgets she was hoping to test today. "You will also have to change shows, Miss." Of course Alfred would know she had hidden blades that popped out in her boots.

Alex took off her boots and tossed them into the bin when she caught sight of a pair of sneakers. She put them on and they were exactly her sixe. He came prepared. Alex thought before she moved over to her group of friends. It felt weird having eyes on her thanks to the entrance she made but she just ignored them. She saw Jai and Magni still standing up like they too were ready to throw down. Alex folded her arms. "The fuck are you guys staring at? Get your dumb asses in those chairs before I decide to make you both look worse than Junior." It was clear Alex was not in a good mood and nor did she feel like with any retaliation from anyone. She was one wrong step away from blasting someone's head off. The only one safe would be Wren who now sat on her right while Jai was seated to her left. Wren was one of the very select few safe from her wrath.

Alex looked back to see Junior taking his bloody self next to his boyfriend, Enzo, with a huge smirk spread across his face. He began to whisper something into his ear but Alex decided not to listen in. It was probably perverted and something she really didn't want to hear. Instead she tried to focus on class and not get kicked out this time.

"I'm sorry my face makes you feel that way. But me and Casper go way back. And we have a silent bond and you're actually ruining this intimate moment." As Matt looped his arm over "Casper's" shoulders, Adrienne forcefully suppressed a smirk. Instead, her brows rose in a faux solicitous expression, "In that case, perhaps I should leave you two to your liaison and find someone else to vex." She pointedly looked about the room, seemingly searching for someone else to join.

Matt's pitiful persona melted into a wily grin as he looked at her, "How have you been today, anyway?"

Adrienne opened her mouth to shun Matt for his unoriginal choice of conversation starter, when the doors swept open once more, and a bloodied pair stumbled into the room. Honestly, the activities hadn't even starting and already someone was sporting a bloody lip and a black eye. Adrienne curiously watched as the pair lumbered to the respective seats, before commenting over her shoulder, "Better than them, from the looks of things."

"Alright then," Phil Coulson wasn't a particularly large man, and yet his voice seemed overwhelm every other mutter, murmur, and remark in the room. Adrienne swiveled around, turning her attention from Matt as the agent began his rundown of whatever exercise they were about to participate in.

"As you guys can very well assume today's class time and training is nothing like our ordinary classes. At least, long enough to know what each of your strengths and weaknesses are." Hmph, what weaknesses? Adrienne's eyes narrowed slightly, the idea of possessing any sort of flaws an unwelcome one.

"So today you all will be Saving the Civilian." Of course, Adrienne had never seen the film Sky High, so when Wren called out as to make her daily interruption -and there certainly was a quota that Wren was inclined to make- Adrienne's face was blank.

"In theory yes. Alfred and I have spent a very long time preparing this particular exercise. You all will be given a partner and arena. Once in your given arena's everyone is given 5 minutes to save the civilian. Your partners have been decided upon by Alfred and I. Powers, relationships and abilities have effected how we decided to split you all up. For example some are because you have conflicting personalities, similar powers, no powers, genius level I.Q.s, etc... Then each pairing has had their particular arena designed specifically for them to test them in different areas depending on their own skill set and weaknesses. You are given only 5 minutes to save your civilian. If you fail to save them in the time frame or do not work together you will fail the exercise. And those that take in prohibited objects such as weapons, enhancements or anything other than the clothes you are wearing you will get an immediate failure..." Although her face remained serene, mentally, Adrienne was grimacing. So they're pairing us up with the people we don't work well with? Where's the logic in that? Good grief, and I'm bound to get stuck with some complete dunderhead... "...And you will not be allowed to attend the dance Saturday night. Any questions?" Adrienne stiffled a scoff, Miss the dance? God forbid.

"Er, that doesn't sound promising. We're pretty much an even pair right?" Adrienne looked at him, one brow raised, and lips curved into a teasing smirk. "'Even'? Please. I'd kick your ass." A rare smile flickered across her face, exposing the joking manner of her comment.

Well, she was mostly joking.

"I'm not pretending to be anyone of the sort. I'm definitely not that important to the evolution of the human race. And neither are you Nigma, although you are simply the definition of a narcissist, following your fathers footsteps, I suppose, he would've been real proud, huh?" Enzo chuckled more to himself than Aiden. The male's attempt at looking threatening was do anything but making him feel threatened. "I never once claimed to be important to human evolution. I couldn't care less about the evolution of the Human race because it pays no significance in my life time." When Aiden mentioned him being a narcissist, Enzo simply grinned while bouncing his crossed foot. "Yes, yes I am. But I like me... Better a narcissist than insecure." Enzo then removed his feet from the desk, resting his elbows upon his knees as he leaned in closer towards Frosty. "But here's the difference between you and I Drake. I may have an ego. I may be a dick, asshole... Take your pick. But, at least I have the decency not to go out of my way to piss someone off. At least I am polite."

With that being said, Enzo leaned back in his chair, crossing his right leg over his left. Hearing Aiden's chuckle caused him to clench his jaw as he spoke, "You could just move, or is that just a little bit too easy for you?" The comment pinched a nerve, causing him to cock his head towards the Drake twin. "Excuse me?" Enzo's patience was running thin, "I do believe that I was the one to sit here first. You had all of the other desks in the room to choose from," He motioned his hand towards the rest of the room, "But you being the little prick you are had to come sit by me. So if anyone should move, that'd be you." He paused in the middle of his rant as he saw Lilith spin a chair around to have a seat facing him. Enzo shot the blonde a strained half smile, hard to seem pleased to see her when he was heated. "But that would be expecting too much from you. That means you'd have to be a decent person."

If Lilith wouldn't have shown up when she did, there would have been a good possibility for punches being thrown. Enzo didn't need his cane to beat the shit out of someone, especially Drake. His formal attire a visage only masking his physique. With a frustrated sigh, he removed his green bolder hat before slicking back his hair. "Good afternoon Lilith," He smiled towards her, "Apologies for... that." Enzo motioned his hand in a dismissive manner towards Aiden. "Break any hearts today?" He found the girl's powers particularly interesting. Femme fatale. He usually wasn't a huge fan of the all the all-powerful people at this academy, but Lilith was an exception.

After a moment or 2, Coulson began his spiel about their training exercise. Fantastic. I'm going to have to work with someone I probably can't stand. How in the hell are we supposed to work together!!? His attention was quickly brought to the entrance when Alex and Junior came rolling into the room, brawling per usual. In more common relationships, most would probably flip their lid seeing the person they care about in a fight. For Enzo, he just wished he had popcorn to enjoy the show. He raised a brow as he watched Junior come over to sit beside him with a grin. He nonchalantly reached into his pocket, pulling out a handkerchief, holding it out towards him. "You have a little something..." Enzo teasingly pointed to his entire face while smirking.

Phil was obviously not pleased by the bursting in of Alex and Junior, accompanied with the tardiness of Charlie. When Alex made a comment towards Magni and Jai, Phil sighed. "Why not everyone sit down and shut up. His attention was then drawn to Charlie, "So, Mr. Coulson, what'd I miss?" Phil crossed his arms in front of his chest, "Enough to where I don't feel like repeating it because you don't know how to be on time."

Then Ethan's hand shot up with the first question, "Wait, there was a dance happening on Saturday night?" Phil nodded his head before responding. "Yes. Today is what? Thursday?" He glanced over at Alfred who gave him a agreeing nod. "So, yes in 2 days there is the Anniversary Dance celebrating 5 years since the creation of Descendant Academy." He sighed, "It seems it is apparent many of you don't actually listen to J.A.R.V.I.S's announcements... Wonderful."

After the continuous firing of questions from Ethan, he finally asked his last question, "Can I have a reservation of my brother as a partner?" Just as Phil was about to answer, the other Drake twin practically flew out of his chair, "Oh, hell no! I mean... No thank you, Mr. Coulson... Sorry." Once Aiden was done, Coulson spoke up, "No one can request, decline, reserve or choose their partners. The only element you all get to decide is if and how you will save the civilian once in your given arena. Everything else is up to our discretion." He motioned to himself and Alfred.

Dialog: #417F94 Thought: #10B2E8

She hadn't realized the time until she strolled out of her bathroom with her toothbrush in her mouth, and toothpaste at the corners of her full lips. She was going to be late for her first class if she didn't hurry up.
"Ar, crap!" she said out loud, and rushed on over to her walk-in closet to find something to wear for the day. She didn't care where she was putting everything for now, and just threw tops that were on hangers over her shoulder which then landed on her bed, or the clean floor. Her penthouse was always spotless, but this morning it was going to look like a Hurricane had swept it's way through. "I seriously need to do a shopping spree soon. Come on!" she was getting a little frustrated as she pushed a few things to one side. Finally, an outfit XXX.

Once she had herself dressed, and her highlighted blonde hair all nicely brushed out to it's straight shoulder length with little bouncy curls around her shoulders, Olivia headed out of her penthouse, and headed towards class. She was so nervous at this point. Even though she had been here for quite some time, she still didn't know a few people. Magni was a good looking guy, and she liked that leadership about him which made him so manly. No doubt the other girls thought he was big headed, but wouldn't they if they were a God descendant who will one day rule Asgard? Wren, she seemed like a bit too loud for Olivia's liking, but she didn't seem too bad. Enzo, another good looking guy, but clearly a villains son. Yeah there was no trust there. Olivia had seen him around the Academy many of times handing out riddles here and there, so it's wasn't a hard puzzle to work out who his daddy was. Maybe finding a bad boy could be quite good. Everyone needs a little danger in their lives from time to time.. right?

Finally, Olivia made it to class. She could see some of the others were already there, and Caleb Kent, son of Superman. He definitely got his looks from his Father. she lightly bit her lower lip as she wandered past him in her heels, carrying herself off with a confident feminine walk towards her seat. She even saw her friend Matt already sitting down, so she smiled in his direction as she lightly pushed back a few blonde curls from her piercing ice blue eyes.

"Well now that that is all taken care of... Your pairings." Phil walked back around the desk, flipping open the file folder that rested on top of the wooden surface. After a minute of fingering through papers, he grabbed a single page with an "Ah ha!" He moved back around towards the front of the desk, leaning back against it. "Well seeing as to how we are missing a few students there will be slight modifications to the pairings... And there will be one group of 3 instead of 2. I'll say the names of each group, and the floor number you will report to. Each floor has been configured to the arena designed for your particular group. The simulation won't start until you all are in the rooms with the doors shut. Until that point each area will look like a simple concrete room."

Phil could tell the students were slightly impatient to know who they were partnered with. But before that, Coulson wanted to leave them waiting a bit more. "Just a reminder... You all have only 5 minutes to save your civilian. And that can be a completely different task depending on the arena. It can vary between saving them, freeing them, protecting them or just reaching them. If your civilian dies, then you fail. Although they are just dummies, a shot through the head or falling into a pit of fire will kill them." He holds up his index finger, "If you die it will also result in a failure." Phil then proceeded to answer the question before it was asked, "And yes it is more than possible for you to die in there."

Mr. Coulson then proceeded to name off the pairings and floor numbers from his document.

OOC: Phil is only telling everyone their partners and floors. The arena descriptions is just for you all to know what it will be like when their simulations start in case you need to plan out what is going to happen in PMs or if you need to ask me any questions :)

Dialog: #417F94 Thought: #10B2E8

Considering how everyone was dressed, she seemed over dressed. Before working with her friend Ethan, she'd have to change into something more practical for a maze with booby traps. She only dressed in her gorgeous outfit because she thought they were just going to be sitting in class, and learning about whatever it is they need to know other than how to train their powers uses. As the child of flash zipped up and down the room with excitement over a girl, Olivia straightened her hair with her fingers due to the wind that guy was causing with his speed. Men, they seriously had no control over their mental thoughts, or feelings towards a woman who knew exactly how to use them for her own gain.

She felt like whisking up an invisible barrier for him to run into, that would of been funny to watch.

Olivia rolled her eyes before turning back to the book she had pulled out of her bag.

Since being here, Olivia had LITERALLY been the invisible woman. The only two who had noticed her was Ethan, and Matt. Even though she wasn't close to Matt, Olivia would invite him to hangout with her and the hyperactive Ethan who she found adorable to the core. They had quite a lot in common, and their powers were kind of on the same level. She was happy to be paired up with him during their first little test. Olivia loved mazes for some reason, and if anyone asked her why? they'd get the usual, "I have no idea."maybe it's because they're as complicated as her.

Max stayed in his thoughts until Phil started talking. He hardly noticed the commotion between Joker Jr. and Alex. Not that it really mattered to him, he didn't really care too much for either of them. Alex was a bitch, and Jr. was the definition of evil. Max didn't have to wait very long for Phil to reveal his partner considering his name was in the first pairing. "Max and Astrid will be on LL29." Max couldn't help but crack a smile. He had no problem with Astrid. He wasn't sure how they were going to handle a challenge though. He didn't have his suit, and she was without her shield. Max could think fast and fight normal people, but that was nothing special. Astrid was still insanely talented, but neither one had really cool powers on their own. Nothing like Caleb, or Magni, or Olivia. Max was okay with it though. At least he wasn't paired with a gang green member.

He stayed in his seat and heard some pretty interesting pairings. He couldn't help but turn around and smirk at Liz when she was paired with Kain. He knew that would be interesting. He felt bad for Aiden, having to work with Enzo. He chuckled at the pairing of Anansi and Joker Jr. Anansi would love it. Jai seemed excited at drawing Lilith. Who wouldn't be? When Phil finished, Max walked towards the back of the room towards Astrid.

"Let's go Misses Cap." he said with a smile as he held his hand out to help her up. "It's not the world yet, but let's go save a dummy."

Magni merely rolled his eyes at the speedster, and his condition that he would have to catch him before he could punch him. Magni gave no reaction to the human when he disappeared, and reappeared behind him with a shoulder tap. In fact Magni was about elbow the kid before his attention was brought in by the clown boy, and the Tamaranean hybrid Alex. He merely watched in amusement. He especially laughed at her attempts to threaten them when she addressed them. "You would break your fists before you harmed me Mortal." He scuffed at her with an eye roll to follow.

Magni brought his attention back to Coulson as he announced the teams. Wren. Well he supposes he could have gotten a worse partner. At least she is not as helpless as some of the other mortals here. Such as the Luther girl, or the Kyle boy. Though he'd be better off doing it himself. "Son of Cole, I can accomplish this task alone. I need no one else." He commanded rather adamantly. "I'm sorry Mr. Thorson but this test is about your ability to adapt, and work with others. Even if you are a 'God'." Coulson replied. Magni merely groaned in response.

"Very well. Let us be done of this!" Magni yelled as he got out of his chair. He looked over at Wren, and grabbed the back of her sports bra. "Daughter of Son of Will, let us be done with this pointless endeavor." He ordered as he yanked her out of her chair. He then began dragging her towards the exit of the room. Once out of the room he dropped her on the ground. "Do not slow me down." Magni ordered as he called for the elevator. Before the elevator came he looked back at Wren briefly. "I...suppose I could do worse for a partner than you. As far as humans go...you aren't entirely useless."

"And speak of the devil..." Tommy muttered as Alex came barreling into the classroom. He leaned back, and watched the ensuing chaos. Though to his disappointment it wasn't that much chaos. A shame really. He listened as Coulson told them about what was going to happen, and the punishment of those that didn't follow the rules, in that they'd be banned from the dance. He glanced over at Anansi. 'No, of course she wouldn't wanna go with me.' He thought to himself as he turned back to Coulson.

And then the teams were announced. Of course he'd be stuck with the goody goody nephew. Tommy rolled his eyes. "Oh come on the Boy Scout?! I'd rather be stuck with the Juggalo and the Insane Clown Posse over there." He said as he pointed over to Joker Jr, and his usual partner's in crime. Coulson merely rolled his eyes at this. Tommy let out a sigh. "Whatever, if I can't have the least lame of the circus I call a family then fine." Before he got up he looked over at Anansi. "Don't worry Webhead, I'll be sure to give him a nice Colombian Neck Tie in his sleep." He replied half jokingly.

Tommy got up, and made his way to the exit. But before he left he turned back to face Coulson. "Oh! PC the old man missed something." Tommy then drew the throwing knife from his pocket. Tommy threw the knife towards Coulson, and it embedded itself in the wall behind him. "Thomas Kyle!" "What? I was just being decent!" Tommy said as he waved him off, and went to the elevator before he could say another word. Tommy left with a rather satisfied grin on his face.

ImageCaleb could have laughed with how concerned Astird was of Jai and Magni show down meanwhile Alex and Junior engaged in a fist fight. He didn't hold much favor over one or the other, so he watched with no intention to move. Like most of his acquaintances.

Once all the stir settled over, and everyone got their seats, he heard himself paired with Thena which made him smile. They weren't particularly close with each other but she was a woman that held similar capacity of power to Caleb so whatever they did would be an exciting tale to tell afterwards, he was sure. So he was happy, especially compared to some of the other pairings. He knew he had it good.

Caleb stood up where his eyes traveled to Thena prepared as he was ever going to be. β€œI hope you don’t mind being stuck with me for five or so minutes.” He headed to the elevators assuming Thena would be in step. If not then it wouldn't have made a difference anyway. Nothing could begin without the other.

ImageHe shot Elizabeth a look from the corner of his eyes and smirked. The girl who had refused him a pen so coldly, even if she had it, was his partner. "Phil, please tell me your not serious. Please don't make me work with him." It was unfortunate for him but more unfortunate for her thus resulting in his pleasure. She and him both probably preferred it to be a versus match though.

She left the room, not waiting up on somebody as vital as her partner. Then any smug traces dropped from his face and he glared at the pair of Phil and Alfred. Obviously arguing was useless and they had no regard for who killed whose mother or father or severely injured them. But it was fine. He'd work in the same room with Elizabeth there, but he would not work with the girl.
He stood up, taking his time in stretching out his muscles then made his way to the elevator. When he saw Elizabeth waiting by them, he smiled and shook his head. "You didn't get far." He pointed to the elevator. "Wanna catch a lift together?" He grinned and slipped in once the doors opened and was incredibly tempted to push her out before the doors slid shut and ascended. But the sooner he got the task done and passed, the sooner he could return to tormenting her, freeish of charge. They only needed to survive each other.

ImageMatthew's attention shifted to Alex and the Joker in a fight, and Alex was relentless. But he still had half a mind to intervene. He wasn't one for brutality, meanwhile everyone else took the scene rather well. "Better than them, from the looks of things." Matt nodded in agreement with Adrienne, though it weren't much of a benchmark.

"'Even'? Please. I'd kick your ass." Was her next aloud remark. He smiled and shook his head not bothering much with the inevitable debate of powers verse no powers, who came on top discussion. Because powers did have the upper hand, much to his dislike.

In time, the pairs were announced. And he so badly wanted to hear his name next to other's wrong. Matthew groaned over Tommy's complaints in the background. Something about a boy scout and comparison to clowns and circus'. Wasn't like he was exactly thrilled with the pickings either. When Tommy revealed his hidden knife and threw it at the wall, he turned to Adrienne. "Switch," he proposed simply. Matt wasn't the type to fall for intimidation but the guy had a lot of issues and was a clear psycho, no different from the majority of the green gang. He'd prefer Olivia or even Lilith.

Jai seemed ecstatic about hearing his partner for the second time around and the girl had infatuation ability about her, but Matthew was convinced if you didn't wear green, you weren't safe from her.

He sighed out and moved swiftly to the front of the room. "Alfred, that guy is a psycho! There is no way..."
Matthew was cut off by a simple hand to stop talking then a gesturing wave out the room. He followed the prompt silently.

Matt was a little antsy about being paired with someone that had stashed a knife on his being throughout class and who he wasn't on great terms with.

He entered the room and waited for...whatever. Catman to ambush him probably.

Magni raised an eyebrow at Wren. What did she mean he didn't threaten anyone else? Not even ten minutes ago he threatened to turn the speedster into a puddle of pus. He watched as she pushed her way past him. He held his eyes down to the floor as he heard her say something about maybe she'd die in the simulation, and wouldn't have to be his problem. He clinched his fists at her words, trying to think of what to say to her. It was rather simple, sorry was all he had to say, but he just couldn't get the words out.

He followed behind Wren, and entered the simulation room. He looked at Wren for a moment, and started to open his mouth to say something, but stopped at the last moment, and turned his head from her. 'Apologize to her, tell her that you don't wish for her to die.' He mentally chastised himself. But he just couldn't say the words out loud. His infamous Asgardian bullheadedness most likely. He rubbed the back of his head, still trying to muster the nerve to apologize her. Then shook these feelings off. He had to focus, the test was soon to begin.

The room began to shift around as it changed into the simulation. It soon appeared to be some sort of old temple. A cage began to lower that held the civilian, and a pit of flames opened up in the center of the room. Magni glared at the cage, and then released a slight chuckle. "I thought this was to be a challenge." He smirked as he cracked his knuckles.

Tommy leaned against the wall of the plain concrete room as he waited for his 'partner' to enter. Ugh. What is it with these guys and sticking them with opposites? Why couldn't he have been paired up with the least annoying of the Bat 'family'. Him, and Alex get along well enough, well as well anyone can get along with the redhead. He wondered if it was only to torment them. "Bet Bruce, and Tony get a big hard on for doing shit like this." He said to himself in a snarky tone. "Assholes." He followed up with a disgruntled sigh. It was going to be a long day, he just knew it.

Soon Matt entered through the door, seemingly unaware of his presence. "Bout time Kiddo. I was starting to think you got lost." He said with a sly grin. If there was one thing Tommy actually enjoyed about being Bruce's son, it's that he's technically Alex, and Matt's uncle, a fact that he'll use any time he gets the chance. Tommy pushed himself off the wall and stepped forward. "Alright Data, let's get this Holodeck show on the road. I got better things to do.....well ok no, but I'll find something less headachey." He smirked. Soon the room began to shift into an urban warzone, as he and Matt stood on top of a building. Smoke, and flames touched the sky as the streets were filled with rubble.

Tommy let out a faked yawn as he pulled up his hood, and pushed down his goggles that rested on his forehead. "Let's see what my elf eyes can see." Tommy muttered as he stood at the edge of the rooftop, and pressed a button on the side of his goggles, zooming in on a skyscraper a few blocks away from them. "Alright got eyes on the target. Top of that skyscraper over there." He stated as he pointed towards the building. Tommy then looked down at the buildings surrounding it.

"Should be able to hop across these rooftops. But I'm not sure how to get up there without any of my tools. Might be able to get into one of the upper floors, and just take the stairs or something. Other then that I got no clue." Tommy said as he pushed his goggles up on his forehead. The ground then began to shake as buildings behind them began to fall down. "And then there's that. Fuck it, I'm Leroy Jenkinsing this shit." Tommy said as he backed away from the edge to get a good running start.

Tommy dashed to the edge of the building, and leaped off. He duck, and rolled onto the next rooftop. He stood up, and turned to face Matt. "Come on Matty, kick off your high heels! We only got like five minutes!" He shouted as he turned to leap to the next building. He took another running start, and hit the edge of the building. He clawed like a mad cat to get a hold of a window sill, and pulled himself up. He underestimated the gap between those two buildings. Once he was on the rooftop he stood up, and dusted himself off.

He let out an annoyed sigh as he saw how much more he had to go through. "I hate my life....no I hate everyone elses." He muttered as he caught his breath.

Matt turned to Tommy as he spoke and nodded. He wanted whatever awaited them to be done with too. Matthew held out his arms as if regaining his balance as the room shifted to a dystopia post war zone. Though, they didn’t physically move, it was still trippy. He shook his head out of it to regain his bearings all the while hearing Tommy’s commentary.

Matthew squinted ahead to the skyscraper Tommy claimed to see the civilian, though with how far they were, the civilian blurred in with the structure to Matt. Thus resulting in reliability on his partner. Not only that but then Thomas proposed a plan, "Should be able to hop across these rooftops. But I'm not sure how to get up there without any of my tools. Might be able to get into one of the upper floors, and just take the stairs or something. Other then that I got no clue." Seeing as Matt had nothing and never claimed to be the genius of the bundle he could only agree and hope there were stairs or something.
ImageFeeling a light quake and hearing loud crashes, he turned to see buildings fall to rubble joining the unreliable city in it's collapse. "And then there's that. Fuck it, I'm Leroy Jenkinsing this shit." Matthew had never actually seen buildings fall and crumble like this. Or been in something as chaotic as sudden falling buildings. "Come on Matty, kick off your high heels! We only got like five minutes!" Matthew turned back around to see Tommy on the next building, and lining up another spring to the second building away. "Don't call me Matty," he muttered.

Matthew backed up and took his run up for his leap of faith and ran harder at the next one in non stop momentum. Matthew's elegance were no better as he crashed landed on the second one, trying to avoid Tommy's scrambling for the ledge.

"I hate my life....no I hate everyone elses." Matt climbed to his feet, checking his grazed arm. "Well they probably hate yours too. Especially that civilian." He pointed vaguely towards the skyscraper then checked behind them. "We gotta keep moving." He smacked a hand on Thomas' shoulder and ran for the next one.

Matt cleared a few in a row though each time would take a toll on his muscles. They felt heavier while he felt fatigued. But he had to go with the momentum otherwise he'd lose power in his run and jumps, not to mention lose power in will. Each leap became more sloppy and closer to the edge of the rooftops. Until he encountered a miss, gripping on for dear life to the ledge. His chest crashed into the wall following his momentum. "God that hurt!" So he wasn't a ninja turtle that could leap from rooftop to rooftop successfully. He tried to pull himself up but only succeeded in dangling above the streets. Matthew looked down to the fall should his grip slip.

This was going to hurt most...."A little help, Tommy." Matt cringed.

Magni stared down at Wren when she stepped in front of him, and placed her hands on his shoulders. "By 'Team Work' you best mean staying out of my way." He growled slightly at her. When she walked over to the flames he raised an eyebrow at it. And when she placed her hand in the fire he stepped forward slightly to stop her, but it was already too late. She pulled her hand out of the fire to be all burnt, and blistered. But it then soon healed up. He wasn't worried by the fire, his skin was far too thick to be affected by the fire.

As Wren turned back towards him, and began walking back to him she activated some sort of trap in the panels of the floor. Magni's eyes darted around, trying to figure out what was going to happen. As he heard the clicking sounds come from the walls, and the barrels of guns revealing themselves his gaze met Wren's. He then let out an annoyed sigh. As soon as Wren closed her eyes, and cover her face he moved. He held Wren tightly close to his body as he hunched over her. And then the spikes came a flying.

Magni held Wren tight, shielding her from the spikes. The spikes bounded off his thick Asgardian skin, shattering them into pieces. After a good long minute the spikes stopped. Magni stood up straight, with shards of spikes dropping down onto the floor. Magni looked down at Wren, her still being so close to his body. "The spikes have stopped.......you weren't harmed were you?" He asked as he slightly blushed, but he looked away to hide it. "We had best move on, and get this over with." He stated, bringing them back on task as he pulled away from Wren.

Tommy followed behind Matt as he leaped across the rooftops one by one. He was doing his best to keep up, his near spill back there really slowed him down. But he was beginning to feel the fatigue set in. In the back of his mind he could hear Catwoman yelling in his ear. Telling him to move faster, go harder. Pushing him further. Forcing him to ignore his soreness. He had to show her he was just as good, no he was better than her. Than Batman, and the rest of them. He was just as strong as any of them.

When Matt fell to the side of the next building Tommy rolled onto the rooftop, stopping in his tracks. He walked over to the edge, standing over Matt as he held onto the edge. He knelled down with a arrogant smile plastered on his face. "Well, well, well. Didn't Dick teach you how to freerun? Wasn't he like a acrobat, or something? No he was a sword swallower right? Bet that came in handy when he became Robin. Hehehe." He smirked. He then took a moment to let him dangle before he did anything to help him.

Tommy sighed as he leaned down, and pulled him up. After Matt was back on top of the building Tommy let out another sigh. "Alright, no more donuts for you." He huffed before he turned around to face back to their path. "Not too much farther now. We better hurry up." He pointed out. Tommy backed away from the edge to get a nice running start before he leaped over to the next building.

Image"Aw, shut up." Matthew responded once his feet met solid structure again. He shook it off, only having to see the buildings topple again to know the importance of keep going. But being a little psyched out of the rhythm, he had to take a large run up like Tommy. And a sadistic little part in his brain wanted Tommy to misjudge a jump and have to rely on him for a rescue. But the next best thing he could do was race Tommy to the civilian. Prove he was faster and swifter, leaping from rooftop to rooftop in sync with douche Uncle Tom.

He skidded to a stop as the next building was no other than the imposing sky scraper. Again a disappointment to Dick's name, the only thought he had wasn't very masterful nor strategic. "A shame you don't where high heels. Could use it to smash the glass and run up to the top." His next best bet was just lunging through the damned thing with his top over his head but it wasn't very favorable. He bit his nail as he paced, trying to ignore the buildings closer to them turning to rubble. "You got any ideas? Otherwise I'm waiting 50/50 which way this building falls. We just have to reach the civilian before simulated death which would be until the sky scraper's collapse." Matt theorized.

All the last minute rescues in the world and the civilians always survived, even without new heart conditions.

ImageKain observed her carefully so he knew what to mimic or not mimic. But almost immediately she jumped back returning to her position as the platform disappeared. Kain shot up a brow and looked around the empty room that Elizabeth chose to yell at. Oh, he was judging alright. Sure, he was on the same page as her with the whole dislike for crumbling, moving platforms but he didn't yell at a room and cameras that didn't care.

"Ok, so I'll go first and get over while you kind of coach me through it. I won't have time to think and plan my next step so it'll be up to you. Once I get over to the citizen I'll do the same for you." Elizabeth said. Kain held her arm before she started playing extreme hop scotch. "Hold it..." Two concerns went through his mind. "First, what if you make all the platforms crumble and this one crumbles. Second, I don't trust you. And you don't trust me." Kain added and released her arm. His eyes evaluated the the shifting platforms. Shit. It pushed for two. They probably couldn't spare the time to find an alternate platform from which the other one jumped. Agonized she was right, he dragged his hand down from his temples to his jawline. "Let's do it your way. Be quick." He warned.

"I'd go left." He gestured to the platform slowly getting further away, but another looked to be crossing it's path as it panned across the abyss.

Magni watched nervously as Wren maneuvered around the cage to reach the hatch underneath it. He clinched his fists tightly, ready to leap into the inferno if she fell. He rolled his eyes at her comment about her life being on the line. "You mortals are always complaining about something. Not my fault you are all so......." Magni took a moment to think of the right words to use. "So.....so squishy." He answered. Yes, squishy seems to be appropriate. "And puny....and tiny....it's a wonder that you all made it through the Middle Ages." He added. He could probably list the things he didn't like about humans all day.

When Wren asked for something to break the lock Magni looked around him to find something that would work. "I don't know what will work! Why can't you just break the contraption with your hands?" He asked in annoyance, and mumbled something about mortals being weak, or something of the like under his breath as he continued to search around. And then it dawned on him. Magni shuffled around the pile of broken spikes, trying to find a intact one. He found one that was completely intact that Wren had pulled out of her moments ago.

"Here! Try to pick the lock with this!" He called out to her as he held up the spike. "I shall toss it up to you! DO NOT drop it!" He commanded. Magni let out a sigh as he held up the spike, measuring up the distance between the two. He then threw the spike as if it was a throwing dart. It was up to her now. Though he wasn't too worried about her not catching it, he threw it hard enough that it'd most likely stab her than her to miss it. Well, hopefully she had a good enough grip on the cage to not fall if she gets stabbed. He didn't think that part through.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah....ya know you love me." Tommy smirked at Matt telling him to shut up. Oh how he enjoyed getting under the skin of his fellow Bat brood. Tommy continued his path across the rooftops, doing his best to outrun Matt, to win their little unspoken race. He had to prove he was just as good, if not better than him. He had to prove to Bruce that he was just as good as them. That he was better than them.

As they came across the final rooftop, and approached their target Tommy slide a little to stop, but not as much as Matt did. Something that he will gladly rub in his face later. Tommy rolled his eyes at Matt, and his comment about high heels. "What can I say, I don't have the calves for them." He smirked followed by a slight chuckle. He watched as Matt paced around with an amused grin on his face, rather enjoying watching the wheels turn in his head. When he asked for his opinion Tommy let out a exaggerated sigh. "It's so hard to be both the smart, and beautiful one of the family. Be glad you don't have that burden."

Tommy rubbed his chin as he looked at the skyscraper, and then back behind them. "Well without my tools I think our best bet is the good ole' tuck-n-roll method." He stated. "What I'm more worried about is when we get up there to the civilian. Will the simulation just end? Or do we have to Snake Plissken this mother while it's all 'Escape From New York' up in this bitch?" He pondered. He shrugged his shoulders, and decided to just go for it.

Tommy took a running start, and leaned forward into the glass. He held his body close into a ball as he rolled into the building. Once inside he got up, and removed a couple of shards of glass from his hands, as well as dusting himself off. "Mind the glass! It....stings." He stated as he rubbed his hands, and removed a few shards out of his hood. "Come on! We need to hurry, don't want to be in here when it starts coming down."
