Another day on the planet of 'Zurk', known well for its reputation as The Planet of Exiles. From all around the multiverse, those who are no longer wanted are sent here, for crimes against their kind or the flagrant disregard of whatever alien laws are imposed. For such a nexus in the multiverse, Zurk was quiet and empty. Its orbit was right on the edge of that solar sweet-spot, where life can exist but temperatures are low and light is scarce. The trees were like those in a rainforest on Earth, all fighting upwards to reach their verdant leaves into the air and soak up the precious life-giving rays of Sol. They had wide, bowl-like tops that caught all the rain and light. The planet-sized forest that was Zurk was a dry, shadowy place. Most who came died within moments, to the natural predators lurking in the shadows, the guardians of this exile's last stop. The monkeys, creatures of pure evil, wished nothing more than to destroy all the 'Gooshes', their word for the exiles who came here in their myriad forms. They too were exiles, though from where it was not known. They didn't seem to have any culture, any reason, any intellect that did not in some may allow them to kill gooshes faster. These tireless evil monkeys lurked in the shadows, waitinf for the gooshes to come out. They wanted to hurt them, and they had to be careful.

Currently disregarding any need for being careful was Krei, a strange and twisting blob made of raw magic, disposed of by his home reality as one disposes of toxic waste. His strange and unnatural energies pulsed and ruined the blue, mossy earth under him, twisting it into rainbows of disgusting ichor and foul lumps. So far, the monkeys had not made their move on Krei. He was a strange beast. While the evil monkeys who lurked in the shadows normally kept with a philosophy of 'if it bleeds, we can kill it', they were not ones to shy away from killing even that which did not technically live. It was always just a bit harder, and even evil monkeys have to stop and think. At any rate, this gooshe was even helping the works of the evil monkeys. Where some defenceless creature from beyond the stars plummetted from whatever device brought them here, Krei sat below, waiting to consume them with whatever unholy power he possessed. By the end of it, the twisted, warped remains of many gooshes sat in foul-smelling piles, reality being cut just by their presence. Piece by piece, Krei was dragging the planet of Zurk, land of Exiles, into a realm of wild magic and raw chaos. He did not intent to stop until there was nothing left.
