The Great Expansion War

The Great Expansion War

0 INK

The Cobalt Falcons and the Forge have been at this for years and one being can change the standstill of the war. And you can decide which side takes charge with his powers to assist you.

3,477 readers have visited The Great Expansion War since Dak'nahlan J'novi created it.

Introduction

The year is 2864 and there are two forces that are in the midst to take Earth (or Siaren now). One is the Cobalt Falcons, a collection of fine soldiers who are often drafted into the force with a goal of keeping the world alive and well. Captain Reznor Talir is the leader of this group who was Second Earth's president, but since the Great Expansion War started, he has been put under congress as the brass to the force. Then there is the Forge. These men and woman are just about any with a good shot and a bit of greed. These brutal soldiers have the idea of getting back to the way that earth was, and mainly, how America was. The man behind this horde is Captain Yanto. Two teams, two futures (you decide which you join). On whatever force you are joined with, you are placed in one of their six sectors. Offensive, Defensive, Support, Technical, Medical and Survey Corps. These sectors' purpose are how as they sound. For your first time being put into the team you have chosen, new faces are put into the Survey Section. Your first mission involves searching 15 clicks outside of the main base in C5 (Eastern Europe) . It has been said that a mysterious figure has been causing a disturbance on the battlefield. Of course, your commander is not apposing the humanoid creature on the battlefield. It has cause at least 500 casualties every battle set on this terrain. And after those battles are over, the figure shows us (your side) a salute and leaves without a trace. Your job is to find this person and allow him in the force.

In the midst of the deserted landscape, you find my character walking outside of a small cave. Knowing that there was too many to fight, Hipo walks over to the group of soldiers and asks for your business. After stating, I gladly accept the invite from your side and help out in the effort. (Yes, this will a long-term RP!) http://hipoinfinity99.wix.com/hipo-jnovi Here is the link to Hipo if you need to know about him.

Order of efficiency of the Energy Cores:
Red: Worst, very unstable. Practically a bomb waiting to explode if you ask me.
Yellow: It won't explode in your hands, but taking care of a small group with this weapon would take too much time.
Green: Not military issue, but gets the job done. First core to be used in smaller plasma weapons.
Blue: Your average energy core. Usually put in military issued rifles and refreshes/reloads significantly faster the rest.
Purple: You must have some good coin in order to get a core of this quality. Pierces even through concrete if you're lucky enough to get an actual core like this.
Pink: Don't like the color? Well get used to it. Rapid fire weapons use this core most of the time. They keep a small army at bay.
White: If people see this on you, they'll consider you hostile. These cores are rare, and people haven't told what their capable of... at least no one still alive.

Toggle Rules

Hello, and welcome to Siaren! Hope you have fun dealing with heavy armor, near death situations and the fate humanity in your own hands! This is up and ready to play! :D

But seriously, welcome. This is the rules page, as you do notice. Now here are a few things that I need from your character that you create. I want to make this as simple as possible.

>Be part of the universe that we are in.
>Have your character born in 2820 or later
>Have a character that says their alignment in the war and which side they are on (Falcon or Forge)
>A picture or description of your character

Anything beyond those standards are free game for you and your character to take. Whether it is backstory or what caliber of guns your character owns, go ahead take a shot at it!... Maybe.

Now here's where I have to be a butt about your character.

-No character besides a human and or alien (any alien)
-No overly op characters (don't shoot lasers out of your eyes)
-No overly sexualized characters (this isn't smut!)
-No characters that are from another universe (Like pacific rim, G.I. Joe, etc.)

Now as for combat rules, they are pretty simple in fact.

+Be reasonable with your attacks or defense. I honestly don't think that you can wipe out an entire fleet in one go. Leave a chance for your opponent to attack.
+Be descriptive with your forms of attacking/defending. I swear there was this one time I was playing with some kid who said, "I shot it." When I asked him to describe to me what he was doing. You can even get really specific, the more descriptive the better.
+Keep the battle rolling at a good pace. Let it flow out, the battle, and don't try to stop immediately when you are done or keep the fight going on for days.

Anything besides that and you are ready. If you have any questions, post them in OOC chat in this roleplay. Post in the posting section and feel free to rock out any length of a post that you wish. Just so long as it's 6 sentences or more.
