The world has known that the supernatural exist for a long time now. Years ago, werewolves made peace with humans and vowed to protect them from other species out there like vampires, sirens, and other beings that intended to harm the mundane. Since then, each town and city has had a small werewolf pack protecting them. The werewolves have earned the name “The Protectors.” Moonglade, a small town nestled in the Colorado Mountains, has yet to have a pack claim the town as theirs to protect. Until now. Two small werewolf packs have stumbled upon Moonglade around the same time. The Blackwell pack moved into a large homestead to the north of Moonglade, and the Mollohan pack moved into one to the south of the town. The Mollohan pack came to Moonglade a week before the other pack, but it had yet to lay claim to the land before the Blackwell pack came.
It has been about a week since the Blackwell pack came, and both packs have caught wind- more like scent- of each other. If you didn’t know, werewolves are naturally territorial creatures. What they claim is theirs, well, it’s theirs. It’s that way with territory and mates. The only time a werewolf pack can lay claim to a town is during the harvest moon, which only happens once a year at the beginning of October. To lay claim, a pack must actually go into the town/city and shift in front of the denizens. This shows the humans that they trust them enough to show them their “true forms,” and it is a silent vow to protect them from other supernatural beings. However, if there is more than one pack in the town, the packs must fight until the literal death. Whichever pack is left standing, they lay claim to the town. This rarely happens, but it has in Moonglade. It is July and there’s three months until the Harvest moon. What will become of these packs?
Will one leave and the other stay? Or will they both not back down and it all end fatally? After all, Moonglade is not big enough for more than one pack. There’s always combining packs as well. Bigger in number, stronger, and both get to stay in the town with no casualties. However, how can combining a pack work if both absolutely detest and hate each other? There will be blood. There will be betrayal. And it will not end pretty. Question is. . .

Things you need to know about werewolves!
• Werewolves are not slaves to the moon. During a full moon they have more of an urge to shift. They’re stronger and faster and their animal instinct kicks in more. However, they are not forced to shift, and can shift at will at all times.
• During a full moon is the only time a human can be turned into a werewolf. The human must be bit by the werewolf in its wolf form. The werewolf who bit them then becomes their “sire.” The human (now a werewolf and looked at like the “mutt” of the werewolf community) has a loyalty to their sire which surpasses that of pack loyalty. They have a special bond with their sire as well, being able to feel certain emotions of one another, and have the urge to protect/be around each other.
• A werewolf who has one purebred parent and one human parent is also looked at as a mutt.
• A mutt cannot turn a human into a werewolf. It must be a purebred.
• When a werewolf shifts their clothes will rip and tear, sometimes losing their clothes completely. Here’s your warning, kiddos.
• The first part of the password which must be on your character sheet to be accepted is Loyalty,
• Werewolves have many animal-like qualities, even in their human forms. They growl/snarl sometimes and can flash their wolf fangs/canines. Alphas do this a lot.
• In their wolf forms werewolves can speak telepathically. Alphas can do this even in their human form to command a pack member to do something. Alpha word is like law and hard to disobey.
• They are also very territorial (like stated above) and can become violent rather easily. Most wolves have explosive behavior.
• Their senses like smelling, hearing, sight, and so forth are greater than a humans’. They are also much stronger and faster.
• A werewolf’s wolf form is only a little bigger than an actual wolfs’. No Twilight crap.
• Silver can only harm a werewolf if it penetrates their skin. It can make them sick and if left there a long time it can be deadly.
• Wolfsbane, when digested, is deadly to werewolves.
• A silver bullet to the brain or heart kills a werewolf instantly.
• They heal quicker than your average human.
• Werewolves age slower than humans physically and live longer, up to 140 years.
• In their wolf form, a werewolf’s eyes are a yellow/golden color.
• Werewolves mate for life like actual wolves, once their mate dies they grieve for a long time. Most do not find another mate once this happens.
The Character Sheet
I want good, detailed, thought-out characters. I want to feel like I really know these guys. Make me and Captain fall in love with them and fangirl. C’mon. I know you’re an amazing writer and have the ability to do so. ;P We have the right to reject any character we do not see fit for this role-play. I know that won’t happen because you’re awesome!
The Rules
• I’m the GM and that means I am the head honcho. Sorta like the alpha, y’know? So please be respectful to me and my little Co-GM, CaptainHooligan, and we will be the same to you. Let’s all be friends, okay? ^^
• This role-play is one of the advanced variety. That means, no one-liners or one paragraph posts. I want things thought out and detailed. No posts below 300 words (minimum), please and thank you. Also, if you cannot use proper spelling, punctuation, grammar, and so forth do not even bother joining. Text talk is absolutely unacceptable. I would hate to not accept your character. :/ Also, posts will be in third person only!
• There are quite a bit of roles open. Truthfully, I don’t want a lot of writers because things get confusing. So, if you could take on two characters that’d be perfect! One male and one female. Or two males. If you can’t, I understand. It’d be absolutely amazing if you could though. :)
• Reservations last 48 hours. I would rather you have a WIP in before then, but it isn’t a must. Once the 48 hours are up the role will be opened back up for grabs.
• This is an adult/mature role-play. Please, if you are not comfortable with swearing, sexual situations, blood/gore, and violence, then please do not join.
• That being said, do not go overboard with the swearing, and when it comes to sexual content, once the clothes come off use the nifty “fades to black” or something along those lines. Take it somewhere else!
• Do not join, post once, and then vanish. Dude, that’s just not cool. :P Please try to keep up with things and post when you must. If you do not post within 10 days, your spot will open back up (unless you have PM’d me letting me know you’d be gone).
• The second part of the password (which MUST be put on your character sheet to be accepted) is and Dignity.
• Like stated (somewhere) above, this role-play plot is pretty open/character-based. If you have any ideas please feel free to let them be known. I love input and would love to hear from you! Hello, I was wondering if I could reserve some one out side of the two packs, perhaps some sort of bounty hunter who found a target in both packs, or a rouge wolf....or maybe even a vampire?
I wouldn't be there since the start, I would most likely enter later on.
