"The first female tribute in the 76th, and hopefully final,Hunger Games is Alyssa Snow." God this is annoying. My grandad was PRESIDENT SNOW. I can't be in the Hunger Games. Stupid rebels. I walk up onstage and see Katniss Everdeen, among the other victors. I hate them. All of them. Sentencing me to a horrible death just beacuse of the people in power. This idea won't make it off the ground. But, appearently it will since Effie Trinkett, who they decide to use to "keep it traditional" ,keeps calling names. They were all pre-chosen, of course. She finishes with, "And may the odds be ever in your favor." I feel like I'm going to throw up.

"Now onto the boys! Oh, what fun!" burbles Effie. Ha, this isn't fun. Who would think this is fun? Obviously the victors onstage, talking. I stand up, knowing I'm the first boy. "Daniel Adu Trebeke!" I run onstage. I stare at Peeta. Why's he datong a psycho chick like Katniss? This is not real. Capitol people can't be in the Games. Oh, this is great. First my mom's killed by Katniss Everdeen, then her stupid "cousin" kills my dad, and now I'm going to die. But I won't go down without a fight.

I walk on stage as my name has been called. Tears stream down my face. I look ay Katness and cqnt help but scream. "He was on you side he is what got you here. He started this all and now you put me in the games. Not games murder. How could you?"She I go and stand by the other tributes praying I'm not going to die. I just want to go back before the 74th games to stop him from becomming the artist. We wouldnt be in this mess then. No star crossed lovers then.

Her name was called. Her eyes brightened and she held back an excited squeal as she broke away from the children that surrounded her. Finally! She was going into the Hunger Games! And she was twelve! What fun! She skipped up onto the stage giggling, ignoring the curios glances of Katniss and Peeta. Of course, they'd never thought a little girl like her would be excited to be thrown into the Hunger Games. Oh, how they were wrong. Smiling triumphantly, Lavinia took a spot by the other girls up on the stage.

"Hanan Mayer."

Interesting, the thirteen year old boy thought. He was a tribute. Who would have thought he, of all people, would have been chosen. But then again, it was the Hunger Games. One truly never knew what to expect. His hands in his pockets, a look of pure indifference on his face, He walked calmly up to the stage and stood with the others. 

The Hunger Games, huh? This will be interesting. 

"Blake Artisan."
The young girl laughs a little as she takes her seat by the other tributes which earns her a few glances. That was okay, they knew she wasn't quite right in her head. Another girl glares at her glittering eyes bu Blake just sticks her tongue out. She would be a handful.

"Kylee Speare."
On shaky knees Kylee stands up and heads to the girls section. The messed up girl offers her a seat and Kylee sits down. Why her? Why her in these horrible things? "Because we're all stupid people." laughing quietly in a weird way the girl beside her, Blake, says but turns away. "Make an impression!" Blake whispers and nudges Kylee in the ribs, her hand holds a knife. She takes it and hurtles it at a victors foot. It misses by an inch but Blake laughs again, not meanly but out of pleasure. She really was messed up.

"Kishan Rajaram."
Effie Trinket calls the boy's name and he walks over, flashing the victors and others a winning smile. He hears a thud that means something, or rather some girl, fell. Kishan goes to take a seat by Blake, hoping she'll give him a throwing knife. No such luck.

"Welcome, welcome!" Effie bubbles. She used to be my favorite of the escorts. Now she's condemming me to death? I hear her say the names of some girls. She pulls a slip. "Padua Turn!" she burbles joyfully. I slip up to the stage. "Hello." Efffie says to me. "How are you?" I don't say anything. I can't. I'm an Avox.

"Oh, your're the Avox." she says, suprised. "I forgot. Let's move on! Go take a seat." I sit next to a girl. She turns to me. "They're killing Avoxes?" she questions. "Good, their killing their own kind:traitors." Rage bubbles up in me. I want to be like that girl Blake, except I wouldn't throw a knife at the victors. I'd throw it a this girl.

Blake hears the girl, Alyssa's, comment and frowns. Not cool. "Shut up, you know I have another knife." She slips it out of her jacket and shows Alyssa who sits in front of her. The metal blade gleams gleams blindingly in the sunlight. Blake smirks when Alyssa goes pale and she puts it back in her pocket yet her hand is still firmly on the handle.What fun this would be.
The other girl behind Blake throws a glance at her when she thinks Blake isn't looking. She sees it and smirks. What fun.

(Hello?)

I glance over at Blake what she said to Alyssa was amazing. Someone standing up for an Avox? Not very likely. I turn to Blake. I wish I could whisper something to her, but of course, I can't. I nod at her though, hoping she understands everything I can't say, even though she's not right in the head.

After that CR-A-ZY girl went all psycho on me, the reaping was over. We were taken into the Training Center, just like the districts, when they were in the Hunger Games. I was placed on the District 1 floor, with Daniel Adu Trebeke. The Avox was on District 11. What are they going to do about the interviews? I mean, the girl can't talk.

As I sit there stewing about how the rebellion was idiotic, how Katniss Everdeen was idiotic, how all the victors were idiotic, I heard a noise. It was that girl, Blake, telling off Alyssa for making a comment aboutth Avox. I think it's fitting that they're putting the Avoxes in the Games. Killing off the people who won't help build a "new society". But I keep my mouth shut. Blake has a knife.

Blake
The doors open on an apartment that has the exact same layout as the ones Blake had seen. The only difference is the furniture; everything soft is removed. There's hard chairs and benches, shiny ceramic floors, glass tables, and edges, corners everywhere. I guess they careers weren't treated as pampered as I thought. Blake thought. "Did this come like this?" She ask, a tone of annoyance in her voice. Her Capitol assistant knows what she won't say. "No. The mentors changed it, to keep you sharp," she says, with a tight smile. "Nice guys," Blake mutters in an undertone. "If we have Enobaria...I'm gonna murder Katniss." Behind her is the boy who sat beside her, Kishan. "Why? I am so grateful for this!" she laughs and follows Kishan. He leads her through the apartment, which mercifully seems to be empty of their mentor, into her room. It's where it normally was, but it couldn't look more different. The floor is concrete, the walls programmed to prison-cell grey, and instead of a bed there's just a mattress on the floor. He's waiting for her reaction. Not caring about anything and just saying what comes to her mind, she speaks. "You're not gonna go soft in here," Blake finally say, smiling at him. "I am so honored to be in Clove's room!" Blake jumps up and down on the bed and squeals with joy. "You are so weird." Kishan smiles and leaves her to her own devices.

Scarny was led up to the district 12 floor. Since she was Cinnas daughter they let her have his floor. Once the doors opened she fell into the first chair she saw and hugged her knees. She just wept into her knees not wanting to look up and see who else was there or whether Katniss and Peeta would be her mentors. She just wanted to go home back to her mother. Her already suicidal mother who is going to be going through a lot more of those thoughts.

Blake
The little girl hops up and down so many times Kishan runs back in and pushes her off, saying it was so annoying. "Can we train or something?" Blake whines. "Sneak time?" Kishan asks her, eyebrow raised. "Sneak time!" she replies excitedly as they run out the room and out their door, quietly shutting it. Not listening she runs off but almost slams into another group coming her way. It's the Avox girl and some other guy. Kishan is behind and gets a little nervous from being caught but Blake just smiles, her same amused smile.

As I walked into the elevator, Blake and Kishan rushed out and into me and the boy behind me. I didn't know his anme didn't want to. I stood and stared. What were they doing? I waved akwardly at Blake and nodded. I still wasn't done thanking her. She nodded. Then she opened her mouth to speak.

"Move! The knives are gonna leave!" Blake tries to run past before realizing it's the avox girl. Then she smirks, this girl can't turn her in. "Oh, it's you. Hi." Kishan grabs her shoulder and steadies her from charging ahead. Tiny things dance in her vision and she was anxious to show them how skilled she was. Again, she was a little off.

As Blake ran past me, I stared at Kishan. Why was he being nice to Blake? Was it beacuse she could throw knives? I really didn't care.

I walked into the District 11 quarters. The people I thought were the stylist were there, along with another man dressed in black. "Hi." said the woman. I guessed she was my stylist. She continued, "Your Padua, right? I'm Zeeeeea. This is Dr. Kesh. He's discovered a way to give you a tounge so you can talk for the Games." I stared in disbelief. I, would be able to talk?

Kishan
"That was too close, we need to go back, Blake." I tried to drag Blake back to the room but that didn't help. This rabid girl really was messed up. Finally I picked her up and slung her across my shoulder, despite her protest, but by the time we got back she had fallen asleep like a little limp doll and i set her on her bed. When she was awake Blake was a crazy girl but when she was asleep she was an angel. A demonic, mental angel. Soon we would train and I would have to keep her away from the other tributes, for fear she would try to kill them. I would have to keep her from doing stupid things, from getting herself killed.
