Description: Nightshade is an American girl who is average height for her age (5'5). She has long black hair that is generally wavy and smells like the mixture of vanilla and burnt sugar. Her bangs are long, however she tries to keep them out of her face so that she may show off her thought to be best feature, her eyes. Her eyes are green for the most part, however if she is sad, tired, or when she uses her magic, they turn a light ocean blue. To make her eyes stand out even more, Nightshade usually wears a thick layer of black eyeliner and a smoky smudge effect with her eyeshadow. On her right eyebrow, towards the end, she has one piercing, where she usually wears a small ring. Nightshade has rather pale skin compared to most people, which is due to the fact she doesn't like to go out into direct sunlight. However, along her arms, shoulders, and checks, there are very light freckles that she developed as a child.
Nightshade has an hourglass figure (meaning she has a larger bust, slender waistline, and large hips), however her thighs seem to be a bit big compared to the rest of her body. Despite this, she is still classified as slender, since she wears a size small in everything.
For clothes, Nightshade has an obsession with corsets and large dresses, similar to the Victorian style. She also enjoys simple things such as t-shirts, tank tops, and other lose fitting clothes. When she isn't in a dress, she tends to wear blue jeans but she is also a fan of wearing skirts and a pair of stockings. For shoes she is a little more picky then everything else. Generally all she will wear is her pair of black knee high converse.



Personality:Nightshade tries to play off that she is a 'big shot' based on the fact she has magical abilities. She lets people believe that she is full of herself however, since being with the dark Fae, she is starting to lose her touch and her true personality is starting to come out.
Nightshade thinks very poorly of herself and hates the fact she has magic. To her, it has always been a curse, something that made her distance herself from others and never be able to live a normal life. If she were to lose control over herself and her powers, she could easily kill a human, which is something that terrifies her since her moods are not always stable. However, she managed to make a few friends in school, who never knew about her powers, that she still keeps in contact with when she can. Though losing them, and everyone else is another thing she fears. After finding out about the Fae, she has a fear of being in pitch darkness, since anything could manifest itself there.
As for flaws, she has many and a few psychological disorders, which contribute to her fear of losing control. She herself knows she is unpredictable and could snap at any time. As a child, they thought she had multiple personalities, however her grandmother said it was simply 'another spirit' living inside Nightshade's body. As an adult, she has managed to conceal the other spirit, though she still hears its voice from time to time.




History: Nightshade, whos birth name is Klementine Nicneven Laveau, was born into a family of witches. Though her father did not practice, he still had magic in his bloodline. When combined with her mother's magical line, it made Nightshade a blood witch. At a very young age, her grandmother told her of her gift and began teacher her in the ways of being a witch. However, her father did not want this life for her. After a few attempts at taking her, Nightshades mother divorced him and kept all rights to Nightshade.
It wasn't long after that she began showing symptoms of bipolar disorder and multiple personalities, however her grandmother played it off as a bad spirit had got a hold of the girl. It was 4 years before her mother decided to send her to the doctor, where the diagnosed her with both problems. At the age of 10, Nightshade was fed up with her 'gift' and told her family it was a curse and she no longer wanted it. However, seeing as it was in her blood, there was nothing she could do to get ride of it. Her anger progressed, making her hate not only her family but also herself for not being able to be normal. Her self esteem shattered however she never let anyone know of her weakness and self loathing. In high school she kept to herself for the most part but never backed down from anyone.
At 18 she discovered the truth about the Fae when she saw a Mesmer. At first he seemed rather human however when he found out about her gift, she was abducted and has been kept as a 'pet' by the Dark Fae.
