So begins...
Soft the wind swirled, causing the reeds of gold to dance. It pulled from the east, drawn to the west. Low did the wind whisper, until a hum could be heard. Then, a melody emerged, feminine tones of comfort, towards the one occupant of the field.
The man in the white coat looked through the field. He still maintained his rather emotionless face. Time had passed since he had found himself in this field, and he thought it would be a good piece of territory to protect from the humans that would eventually swarm in on it. Then the melody sounded, though he still stood still, narrowing his eyes like those of a cat.
The wind before the man in the white coat began to take shape, swirling and stirring the reeds of the space. Slowly, the form of a woman would present itself, gathered by the dust and colors, emerging from the wind. As the currents of air calmed, her form would become solid. A glorious transition from gas to solid, the woman hovered in place.
Hello,
She greeted him, floating forth just a bit, a smile playing across her blued lips. You have never pierced my current before. Are you landless, listless, or lost?
There was a hint of concern to her sing song words. Her hair fanned outward on the sudden breeze that passed. It was warm, and smelled of the sea, though there was no ocean for leagues to come.
The man did not change his expression, the frown never leaving his face. The coat he wore blew in the wind, and he let out only a few words calmly. "I am lost..."
Relief surged through her, and this reflected in the winds, which now carried the sweet smell of sunflowers and a warm hearth.
Truth blows fierce within your heart,
She said, still with that smile, advancing as the wind, I am aware of many places you may wish to call home.
With this, she began to fade, the air kicking up a notch and flowing distinctly towards the west.
Would you like for me to show you?
The melodic voice of the lady brushed past him, dusts collecting, the wind itself motioning towards the distant crag.
The man took the hint that he was supposed to go west. He began to walk in the direction the wind was going.
The wind swirled gloriously around the crag, nicking bits of dust and debris, but no harm would come to any who stood in the current.
The man walked around, still following the direction of the wind current.
There was always something about this place, something strange,
The voice of the woman echoed on the air, bouncing off of the rocks as birds erupted from behind. Chirping, they flocked into the distance, seeming to disappear into the sun itself.
I have to manifest to go within,
she said, a small whirlwind appearing rapidly beside the man. What is your name, man of truth?
The man simply let out few words, the words necessary for introducing himself. "Legato... Legato Bluesummers..."
Legat Bluesummers,
at this she smiled full force, taking physicality beside him.
Aewisp,
The woman spoke her name in return, held out her hand, and motioned forth down the dust path.
To the future, Legato Bluesummers?
Legato did not say anything. He just took the hand after five seconds of standing.
The word, Aperture, still hung in the air.
There was something other worldly, something transitional about this rocky place.
Aewisp would lead Legato forth, towards the blue glowing mass.
Drawing closer, the mass would separate itself into thirds. There were three presences, each a slightly different shade of blue, each moving at a slightly different pace. They stood at the epicenter, bathed in cerulean light.
Do you seek honor?
Do you seek love?
Do you seek fortune?
Legato stood his ground for 10 seconds of silence before speaking. "Honor... I seek honor..."
The two portals to the right disappeared, leaving only one, flowing steady, a calming ocean of blue.
Aewisp walked towards the portal, and urged Legato through.
We will meet again, I'm sure.
The man in the white coat walked into the portal, hearing Aewisp speak.
