Description

Image
Her song:The Glitch Mob- Fortune Days
Name: Anurae Terorium
Alias: Anu, Rae, Sniffles
Gender: ♀
Age: 22
Race: Dihumoid- A sub species of human that had adapted to a planet's environment, changing them from standard humans. This is called Speciation.
Discerning Features: Like all Dihumoids, Anurae appears to be quite human. However, her eyes are neon green and her hair neon pink. Her eyes were adaptations to the sun's rays being so high, this caused the iris to lighten over generations. Her hair color is years of adaptation to a sort of bleaching that comes from the atmospheric chemicals and the sun's unusual hue bright blue. Hair color does vary, but is always a fluorescent color. Anurae is forced to wear an environmental suit while on Terra's surface due to another adaptation her people took on over generations, the suit's tinted visor often shielding her face from view with the exception of her eyes, which seem to glow when caught in light. This feature, however, can be turned off at Anurae's discretion.
Family:
-Father: Atticus Terorium
-Mother: Voria Attamium (Deceased)
-Sister: Moray Terorium (Deceased)
Personality: A dedicated and determined individual, Anurae is a fiery young woman that doesn't know when to quit. Shes rather friendly when others show the same attitude towards her but can be a fire cracker if you get on her bad side. Most of the time, Anurae is a positive outlook sort of person, though she has her moments of depression, mainly when speaking of her mother and sister. Anurae is always willing to learn and is quite curious of the world around her. Even when faced with failure, she learns from her mistakes.
Brief History of Anurae: Anurae was born on a planet many millions of miles away from that of Terra. This planet has come to be known as Sageous. She lead the normal life of her people, passing through her education with moderate, if not just above average, score. She attended a secondary education branch of exploration and interplanetary travel, as well as basic combat skills. During her secondary education, her sister had fallen ill with a disease that is similar to the common cold for humans. This proved fatal for the child. Anurae's mother had caught the bug, and soon after died from the disease. At the age of 19, Anurae was accepted into the Doctorate of intergalactic exploration. Her visit to Terra is her first ever mission.
Brief History of the Dihumoids: over 2 million years ago, by the Dihumoid's records, a human vessel was sucked into a worm hole. This caused the ship to not only jump trillions of light years away, but to also travel back in time by millions of years. The ship was called the Harthorne and was on its maiden voyage. You could consider it the titanic of the space age, for it was a massive exploration craft with hundreds of thousands of scientists, doctors, military, and civilian personnel on board. After exiting the tear in the space time continuum, the vessel crashed upon a planet covered in ice. This planet came to be known as Sageous. Many were killed in the initial impact, more by the atmosphere, and more by hostile indigenous creatures. The atmosphere was comprised of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, which to humans is not a breathable air. However, after millions of years, and small amounts of exposure to the atmosphere, the people adapted to the environment. This, of course, had some side affects. The odd coloration of hair and eyes were brought upon mostly due to the odd coloration of the sun, a deep blue glow. Another side affect was the degeneration of the new race's immune system. Very few bacteria survive, let alone thrive, in 0 oxygen environments so disease was no longer an issue. However, a sort of plague, similar to that of a human cold, swept through the population killing a vast majority, including Voria Attanium and Moray Terorium, Anurae's mother and younger sister. The plague lasted for 2 years, but in that time, had reduced the population to a third of its former glory. Now, the Dihumoids face extinction as their planet's environment has started to collapse. The already freezing temperatures are dropping, killing off much of the wild life. The Dihumoids have survived this long merely due to their cities being underground and heated by the planet's core, which too seems to be dying. Now, Anurae has been sent out in search of a suitable world for her people to colonize, in hopes of keeping their kind alive.
Armament:
-Anurae's suit is equipped with a jet pack like system that runs on an energy similar to that of nuclear, though without the deadly radiation. The suit is also powered by this substance and has a light kinetic barrier that can repel most physical small arms. However, energy weapons pose a serious threat.
Image
-10mm Pascal repeater: This side arm is standard issue for Dihumoid military. It has a select fire mode to switch between semi-auto to 3 round bursts. A stock swivels along the feed system at the back to allow for more control, as well as a forward grip that folds down.
Image
-7' Sageal blade. This blade is composed of a substance found on Anurae's home planet known to the locals as Sageal. It is a non-magnetic composite that is harder than even diamonds. With a sharp enough blade, one could carve a diamond as easily as one can carve an apple with a paring knife. This material, however, is very rare and hard to forge. It requires a temperature far below that of -1000 Fahrenheit, which puts it in its liquid state.

A deafening roar enveloped the bar, as did a bright light with a suddenness that no one could have expected. The result, if the ones dwelling within failed to shelter their eyes and ears, was a temporary blindness and deafness. As suddenly as it had appeared, the sound and the light ceased to be with a cataclysmic boom, as well as the odd shamble of debris falling from time to time.

The landscape had changed from what it had been a mere five minutes prior than its current state. A massive crater now within the center of the road, as well as nearby buildings having taken damage, or were no longer standing from the massive impact of the alien object in the epicenter. From a distance, the object would seem to be a mere meteor, a rock of space with new foreign materials. Upon closer examination, one could depict straight lines as well as the odd writing upon the new oddity. Clearly a craft that had sustained considerable damage upon entry of the planet's atmosphere.

The space rock released a metallic clang followed by a series of buzzes and other odd clicks and clacks. Then, a crack that was too straight and clean to be of natural creation appeared, and steam rushed forth in a hiss as air within rushed to escape. A small section of the alien object rose up, revealing hydraulics that manned this newly formed doorway. With a weapon drawn, an odd metallic being stepped forth and scanned the various life forms before it. Judging by the shape of the armor, it was easy to tell that this alien was of the female variety. The face was concealed by a solid helm.
Soon after it, or rather she, had exited, the armor gave off a faint holographic glow. The odd pistol like weapon seemed to spring to life as the under mounted section slid along the magazine to forma a stock. A forward grip dropping as it was freed from between the chamber and the folding stock. Immediately, the weapon was brought to the alien's shoulder and trained upon the nearest soldier.

The woman kept the weapon trained upon the rather clumsy man, even as he drew his sidearm. Though none could tell due to the complete opaque visor, the alien's eyes scanned each individual, sizing them up and identifying their weaponry. From what she could tell, this was an organized contingent with a single lead, the one that had addressed her.
Upon the alien figure's back, a set of jets hissed and angled with a buzz and a whir, readying to jump in a moments notice.
The next thing to be said came from the alien herself, although her words were not exactly english, but a strange mixture of a variety of languages of Terra.

The alien female was not surprised that this engagement would lead to violence, in fact, she was expecting it to. As a round of the .44 revolver was fired in her direction, the round would suddenly careen with a barrier that illuminated upon the area the bullet struck. The round caved in upon itself before falling to the ground. A second round hit the woman, this one doing the same, however, the lighting lit up a bright red as well as making the woman stumble back. Within her suit, a warning flashed telling the woman that the rounds were of high velocity and that the suit could not maintain its shields against too many more rounds. Just as she had acknowledged the warning, a second round struck, this one causing a dark red glow. The suit's shields were waning against the encroaching barrage of lead. The jets upon the suit's back ignited and the alien was launched 12 feet into the air, and 8 feet forward due to the angle of the jets. Finally, she in turn released her own barrage of fire in short 3 round bursts, targeting the man with the revolver first, then another soldier directly beneath her.

The jets allowed the woman to swerve and avoid most shots, however, a full burst struck the suit, 2 shots depleting the shields, and the final shot hitting one of the jets. This caused the woman to lose control and land just short of the explosive magnum round. However, she was still close enough to be hit by the shock wave and thrown by the blast. The suddenness of the explosion caught her completely off guard, and as a result, was sent into a tumble causing her to lose grip upon her weapon, leaving her unarmed.
The suit had sustained significant damage, though it was all external. Her internal HUD flickered as the system entered a state of shock. Luckily, she could still breath, that is once she caught her breath. The blast had knocked the breath right out of her, leaving her gasping. The alien woman rolled onto her side, hand grasping her stomach as she felt she had been punched with the strength of 5 men.
"Ni... Nim pred viss..." she'd struggle to mutter.

"Ni..." She'd mutter once more before angling to glance up at the man. She was about to reach for her hidden blade but froze as she noticed the the gun pointed at her head. Rather than gripping the hilt of the blade, her hand moved up with palm wide open, a sign of surrender, or at least for her kind.

The alien woman was reluctant, but she'd lay flat upon her back, once the jets had collapsed into a fold, and kept her hands away from herself to show she wasn't going to reach for any concealed weapon upon her person.
"Fi'neh..."

The woman soon found herself upon her stomach as the soldiers moved to place a strange device upon her back. It wasn't long until she discovered just what it was, for soon after its attachment, the systems of her suit began to shut down, her HUD, power read outs, and the suit itself, save for the life support were all shut down. This in turn caused the overlay of her visor to become transparent, exposing her head within her helm. Her hair, a brilliant bright pink, seemed almost to glow due to its bright coloration. Her eyes had a similar effect, though they were of a vibrant green. With these eyes, she'd cast a glare at the leading agent, obviously angered with her apprehension.
"Sricka Voi." She cursed.

The first thing Anurae was was a blinding light that soon bore the silhouettes of two soldiers. Said armed men moved to take up the alien's arms and moved with haste to take her within the odd white block of a building.
Within, there were a variety of prisoners that were diverse in many ways, and some that appeared as the rest, as in human. This deeply confused Anurae as she was carried by the cells and into a medical room where various scientists were waiting to examine their newest patient.

Without warning, everyone vacated the room, leaving Anurae presumably bound to the metal stretcher. When next the scientists appeared, they were garbed in a strange full body suits, as well as a large cylindrical object that was unmistakably a source of air. Before landing, Anurae had already learned of the planet's atmosphere, and the gasses that made it up. For her, it was not a livable environment.
Unease gripped Anurae by the heart as now the scientists surrounded her.
"Que't era acot min..?" she questioned with her unease evident in her tone.

Anurae's nerves were being tested as the scientists poked and prodded at her suit, and with good reason. The suit was meant not only to supply a steady flow of breathable air, but to also prevent infection against aerial contaminants, as well as protect her body against physical harm. It would be no surprise that the alien would begin to panic the moment her suit began to unbuckle.

"N-ni! So-v-vehn, nitreh partveh min plasti!" Anurae cried out frantically, all the while struggling against what bonds had been administered, her face portraying her horror.

To her shock, Anurae soon found that the room had been adapted to accommodate her needs, which explained the scientists acquiring their own life support suits. Now with her head rested upon the metal she was layed upon, her fluorescent pink hair a mess about her head. It wasn't long until Anurae was left in nothing but a form fitting latex suit of deep magenta coloration, and even this was removed, leaving the pale skinned woman bare upon the cold table top.
Anurae shivered upon the exposure, not only was this rather embarrassing, but it was surprisingly cold! Despite her home planet, she was used to being in a heated area, or her suit that provided heat from the power source. Here, she had nothing but the room temperature which, needles to say, was quite chilling.
Upon the complete exposure of Anurae's body, it was rather apparent that she appeared almost as human as the scientists themselves. The difference being that she had vividly bright pink hair, and her eyes a vivid bright green.
"Porta sid min tirent..?" Anurae murmured in question nervously to the nearest scientist.

The pale skin of the alien girl began to form goosebumps as the scientists touched her skin. Her face even portraying an odd blush of deep red, almost purple. Since her body used carbon dioxide rather than oxygen, her body was most accumulated with deoxygenated blood, giving it a dark appearance. Anurae's blush intensified as the scientists went about what seemed to be an overly thorough breast exam. Yes, indeed her breasts were rather sizable, an easy C cup.
"Ni, nim felesk min vestes!" she protested in a fluster.

The electrodes that were placed about her skin held little worry for Anurae, as she seemed to know what they were, at least she thought. It was mostly to identify vitals upon a screen. Her kinds used similar devices.
It wasn't until the appearance of the mask that Anurae once again began to panic, unsure of just what they were going to force her to breathe.
"Ni! Ni ni ni!" she'd cry out in terror whilst shaking her head frantically, sending her pink hair into a whirl. Despite her struggling, the mask made its way upon Anurae's mouth. However, just before the mask had been placed on, the alien'-ish' girl took a deep breath and held it in her lungs. Surprisingly, Anurae could hold her breathe for a rather long period of time, almost 7 minutes to be exact! This was partly due to the carbon dioxide. Inspite of her breath holding abilities, the young woman surcame to mask's knock out gas, and was soon unconscious.

Aside from the darkened coloration of nearly every organ, due to her bloody transporting Carbon Dioxide rather than oxygen, she'd be equally as human appearin inside as she did outside.

Coming to from her drug induced coma, Anurae's eyes would slowly open and she'd find herself peering directly up at yet another man in a suit. This one, however, seemed to be conducting a sort of data transfer, for as she awoke Anurae found that she knew things she didn't before, mostly the language of English.
"Where.." She started, her tongue feeling dry for after her ordeal. "Where am I..?" the alien woman questioned in a rather soft and smooth tone.
"Wh-what happened..?"

Once the agent had had moved away, Anurae pushed herself to sit up upon the bed. Concern gripped the young woman as the agent explained that he was uncertain as to her fate in the near future. This concern portraying itself upon her face as a sorrowful stare at the agent. She watched as the man collected a crystal from the night stand before glancing at her. The gesture she received was most certainly not comforting.

"A-are they... going to kill me?" Anurae inquired in a soft, trembling tone. With how frail she looked, any sort of ill news seemed as though it would send the alien like woman into emotional turmoil.

"Please... I do not wish... to die."

"T-tests..?" Anurae blinked at the man with the same uncertain look. A knot was forming in her throat as she did her best to resist the emotions that began to well up within her. Deep down, she wanted to let those emotions free, but that would entail crying in front of the man. It wasn't until Agent D's departure that Anurae lay back on her bed. She was silent for a moment before finally she could hold her emotions any longer. Tears formed in her eyes, which slid down her cheek upon blinking. A sense of failure had enveloped the woman, feeling that she had failed her kind and that they were doomed to extinction all because of Anurae's capture.

Hours past as Anurae wept, until the vacuum kicked in. With haste, the young woman wiped away her tears and sat up upon the bed. Her eyes followed the man that was just entering.

"Who are you?"

Anurae sniffled and wiped her cheek one last time, making sure to be rid of any tears she had missed before answering.
"My name... My name is Anurae." she replied with a sob.

"I'm sorry..." Anurae began as she found it much more difficult to suppress her emotional state. "... I'm just a little...scared." confessed the young woman.

"What kind of... tests... will be performed on me?" Anurae almost didn't want to know.

"Y-you are letting me go?" Anurae was surprised by the news, as well as overjoyed. "You are not lying by this, are you?" she was on the edge of the bed now, leaning forward with anticipation to once again be free.

Upon the man's question, Anurae leaned back, her eyes moving to her hands as they closed together on her lap. "My home... the planet, it is dying." concern returned to the woman's voice.
"I was sent here by our leaders to find a suitable place in which we could colonize. We are... very few, many having... died from the plague." Anurae's tone took a more solemn note.
"Many of our kind died... and are still dying. The Sageous is growing colder, weaker. No longer can anything survive on the surface."

"You would... help us?" the offer seemed almost too good to be true. Anurae was unaware if the man was lying or not, she was sort of gullible that way. For now, she took his word.
"I thank you... My people will be truly happy to know that their are others in this universe that show kindness in time of need."

As Robert stood, so did Anurae as her armor was brought into the room. Thus far, the man had kept his word so she had no reason not to trust him. She bowed her head to the man, a sign of true gratitude among her people.
"Thank you, Robert Helsing."

Anurae would then cross her arms over her chest and take the bottom hem of her shirt, she was halfway to pulling it off before freezing. She blinked at Robert before speaking.
"Erm... I do not mean to come off as rude to you, but... um..." Anurae gestured to the door with her vividly green eyes. "I must change."

Upon Robert's departure, Anurae set about replacing her armor with great enthusiasm. First shedding the dull white attire she had been donned with before putting on the form fitting latex suit. Next came the various pieces of armor. The last thing to be put on was her helmet. This time, she'd keep the large visor transparent as to allow others to see her face. She had no need to hide it anymore.

Once Anurae was satisfied with her suit, she'd move to the door, which, opened and allowed her into the room. Before the vacuuming process initiated, Anurae activated her suits internal environmental safeties, which allowed a flow of carbon dioxide to fill her helm, as well as heat her suit. The young woman took a deep breath as the chamber was vacuumed and the door to the other side opened. Upon stepping through the door, Anurae was greeted with what appeared to be a small crowd of scientists, and a rather familiar man. Anurae cast a frown at the agent responsible for her capture, as she did not enjoy being blasted. The frown soon subsided as she turned to Robert.
"I am ready to leave, Sir Helsing."

Anurae blinked at the grasp the man had upon her hand as she was gently pulled to the direction of the exit. As they walked, Anurae angled herself just enough to peer back at the scientists, whom seemed reluctant to allow her to leave. Angling back, Anurae now followed the man as he explained the reasoning for their actions, the reasoning for their first, rather violent, meeting.

"I understand. I am sure my people would have done the same."
