Chant: "Listen to me, oh stars of the sky. Listen to me, oh sky of the blue. Listen to me, oh warmth of the sun. I beseech you, grant me the power of the stars, grant me the chance to change my fate, and let me redo this moment in time! Starlight Reset!"

Image
Ultimate Magic: Starbeam Ascendancy
Description: By using the power of Astral Starlight and combining his own Stardust into it, Astral gains a powerful offensive attack made from the pure radiance of focused starlight. It can burn through anything that gets in its way from hitting its intended target, and it can only harm what the caster wants it to. It can also be used as a sort of long range artillery magic.

Chant: "Hear my pleas, stars of the night! Here my pleas, stars so up high! Converse, converge and become my weapon, my shield, and my hope! Lead me to the path of victory, and make those who hide in darkness no more! Starbeam Ascendancy!"

He has other tools and weapons as well, but those are his signature weapons and abilities.

========================================================================================================================================
Personal Data:

========================================================================================================================================

History: Astral does not know who his birth parents were, only that he was abandoned at an orphanage soon after he was born. However, it did not take long, only a few years, when he realized his great magic power while stargazing. At that point, he seemed to develop incredible magic powers, especially those related to the stars and starlight. He often uses Stardust to amplify his magic as a result.

Thats it really right now. He is still working to prove himself, but otherwise not much has happened yet.

So begins...

Among the bitter winds of the northern region known at the Bittrend Mountains, various dangerous monsters and beasts lay and waited for prey to come across their path. Terrifying Dragons, armies of Ogres, and so on were all there and ready to devour the people that they wanted to slaughter.

And in one region, many of those creatures were now dead on the ground, with even more surrounding the one responsible. One boy, a mage, who held some sort of hammer that had a ping pong ball attached to it with a string, or as he called it, The Ping Pong Hammer.

Astral was looking at these creatures with some concern. He remembered the rules of battle that the Guild Advisor, Maru-sensei, told him.

1: Never drop your guard and underestimate the enemy.
2: Even if they are weak, do not underestimate large hordes of monsters.
3: Never assume you are the strongest, or they are the weakest.
4: Its okay to run away, so long as you live.
5: Never leave a real opening.

Keeping that in mind, Astral looked at the monsters that should be far weaker then him as if they were equals. As if instinctively understanding the danger, the wolf like monsters, each one larger then a human, looked with understanding and coordination. They did not back down however.

"I see...they are relying on numbers. Very well".

Astral, who looked like he should be massively outmatched being an eleven year old boy, took a fighting stance and created a powerful barrier, stardust appearing around him as his body generated it. Furthermore, he created several ice golems to charge the enemy all at once. For these wolves, they would only slow them down though, but he did not stop there. He began to use a chant for one of his more powerful spells.

"Oh stars and sky, that watch over us so, please lend me some of the strength to strike down my enemies!"

As he began to chant, Stardust appeared all around him, and he even gathered it up and added it to the barrier as he chanted. To help propel more mana into the spell, he spun himself around a bit while he chanted while having his face point to the sky while his eyes were closed. Incidentally, even though it was an extremely cloudy day, several bright stars suddenly came into view in the sky above.

"Allow me to rewrite the laws of this world, and strike forth with unrelenting fury! Skyra Strikedown!"

And then, as the wolves broke through the golem line and charged at them, Astral brought down countless beams of light from the sky and struck them all, the beams causing an explosion of light and magic as they impacted on the ground and their targets.

That was one of the Ultimate Magics he learned, Skyra Strikedown. It required a chant, unlike some of his other spells, but in exchange it was far more powerful. And with that, he successfully subjugated all the monsters in this area that had been causing trouble.

"Achoo! Uhhhg...I should have brought warmer clothes, at this rate I will catch a cold...better start heading back"

Saying something like that, Astral Aezro began to make the long way back home.

Preparations were already under way in the city, as countless mages of all kinds began to arrive in preparations for the upcoming event. Even if the event itself was nowhere near starting yet, people still began to gather from all around to this city. Countless people who possess all sorts of magic, or have dedicated themselves to working hard in the field of magic, or just wanted to watch some epic magic battles and events, all were gathering. The streets were flocked with crowds and people, and it was clear that the news had been very popular with the people.

King Verrevia himself had a flashy entrance with the captain of the Royal Guard, with the additional protection of the Rosetta Dragon Knights. They made quite the entrance, and it seemed the King would be in town for quite some time to help set up the event. Decorations and special designs were already being created by the various crafters and manufacturers, and news outlets not even native to Origin, including Terracast according to rumor, were arriving.

And as one bus made its stop at a nearby bus stop, a boy began to step out...but ended up tripping on the bus stairs and went face first into the sidewalk. That boy, known as Allo Aurios, quickly got up and dusted himself off...while wimpering. The ears on the top of his head, along with his tail, drooping with sadness.

"Hey, kid...you okay?"

"Sob...it really hurt..."

"Ah, here, I can help you!"

Suddenly, another figure got off the bus...Dr. Simon Azler. The current headmaster of Astrius Academy. Constructing a magic array, he cast a healing spell on the boy that also helped deal with pain.

"...thank you".

"Your welcome. Now excuse me, I am going to be quite busy. I hope you enjoy the event!"

Allo nodded to him, smiling a little from the nice man. And so, Allo Aurios, the Oracle of Destruction, made his way into town.

And meanwhile, a few blocks away...

Luna Bell landed on a nearby sidewalk, having used magic to fly all the way here. It was a bit exhausting, but he didn't want to wait for all the others, or have to take a crowded bus or Warp Gate with everyone from Astrius. No, he wanted to get here early, see it all stepped up, and of course, get everything at a discount before the prices got jacked up for the event. The first thing he did, was to head into the Traveler's Hotel, unique for the fact that you could pay part of the hotel room with others who also wanted to stay, and get a discounted price for staying in the same room as them.

They apparently had a magic tool to ensure compatibility. And so, Luna Bell walked up to the desk and asked...

"A key for room 5B please!"

Two voices spoke out at the same time. Luna turned to see who it was and...

"Luna?!"

"Astral?!"

The two were shocked to see each other, but even more shocked when they realized they were roommates.

"We are sharing a room? What are the odds of that?!"

"Seriosuly, to think we got stuck together again!"

"Oh, I was a bit worried sticking a boy and a girl as strangers in the same room, but do you know each other?"

At that comment, Astral started to laugh as Luna's face blushed.

"I am a boy!"

"Ah...uhh....oops, sorry about that".

"Hahaha!"

"Shut up Astral! Its not funny! And you better keep your half of the room clean!"

"Fine, I wont be able to mess it up much since I will be busy with the magic tournament, beating you!"

"In your dreams, it will be my victory!"

And so, those two fought on the way to their shared hotel room.

It seemed that there would be a lot going on in the coming days and weeks.

A swirling fiery portal opened up outside the Traveler's Hotel and out of it stepped a young looking man with red hair, wearing a hoodie style jacket and a pair of jeans. A number of orange floating "gems" orbited the man's wrist like a bracelet. He looked like any other young adult aside from the bracelet. He didn't have any bags with him but he went into the hotel and walked up to the front desk. He didn't know any of the other mages that were in town for the Grand Magi Games, so he wasn't sharing a room with anyone.

"Hello, I called ahead a few weeks ago and reserved a room for one for the length of the Magi Games." He said politely to the person at the front desk.

"And what was the name?"

"Tavlin Cyclus."

"Alright, and you have the card it was reserved under?"

Tavlin reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet and pulled out a card and handed it to the lady.

"Here you go."

The lady gave him a key card for the his room and he went to go check it out. It was a pretty normal hotel room, one bed, a bathroom, a crappy view from the balcony and a mini fridge full of over priced items. He plopped down on the bed and relaxed. Tomorrow he would go to the Mage's Guild and register for the games.

Eventually, Luna finished with his gym class, which was meant to help train mages to increase their physical abilities without using magic. They often stated various examples of the past where mages failed to do this and suffered as a result, and got into all sorts of terrible situations.

In the first place, it was actually difficult for most mages to grow or work out. That was because their bodies, instead of producing the growth hormone normally, used some to many of those nuitrients to grow their mana and magic instead. That was why in tales, mages were always short and warriors tall, even when the same age. It was also why Luna was short and light, instead of only producing the growth hormone, his body produced magic enhancing hormones as well.

Once that was done, Luna hit the showers in the boys changing room. Absolutely no privacy, but it was really great water and shampoo. Besides, he had experienced it quite a few time so...

"Ehh, what is a girl doing here?"

"Maybe entertainment?"

"No no look, its a guy...unless its a powerful illusion magic?"

Nope, still embarrassing and bothersome...but at least...

"Hm?"

"Huh?"

That was when Luna looked at the boy who had started to shower right next to him...and then the two glared at each other.

"Astral!"

"Luna!"

""What are you doing here?!""

Forgetting their annoyance at each other almost immediately, the two clashed heads with each other...litterally.

"Showering after Monster Battle Class! What are you doing here!"

"Showering after No-Magic PE! You...you are here on purpose right!"

"Ha! Dont flatter yourself! Like I need to prove I am better!"

These two, who were rivals that suffered under the same insanely difficult master, and had become half friends and half rivals, were clearly in rival mode. They were around the same height, but Luna was a bit shorter. That said, they each stood out a little. For one thing, Astral had this weird haircut where two parts were significantly longer then the others, though he somehow made it work. Neither of them looked very meanacing physically though, and if anything they were probably...about equal. Astral was only a smidge taller then Luna for that matter, but enough so that he didnt get mistaken as a girl, at least as much.

They finished showering and then getting dressed as they bickered and argued over trivial things, but occasionally one could see smiles on their faces instead of signs of aggrivation.

Friends, rivals, they were not one or the other, but both. They hated and liked each other. So basically, they were more like family.

That said, neither of them noticed that they were being followed it seemed, by a dark and mysterious shadow.

"Astral Disaster!"

"Lunar Lash!"

And so a few hours later, it ended up something like this. They had ended up taking one of the training rooms in the school gymnasium, and were currently battling it out with each other to prove that they were the strongest and the other was weaker.

In other words, a typical argument for them.

Of course, if they kept this up they would probably have to shower again, but they were really super competitive.

Five years old, when first attending kindergarden, they competed for best drawer.

Eight year old, they competed on who was faster at gathering mana.

Ten year old, they competed on who could defeat the biggest the biggest monster.

They have always competed, and so this has kept on. That said, they perfectly understood each other's skills and strengths.

And because of that, after that major clash....they both ended up falling backwards onto the ground panting, all roughed up. Again.

"Next time...for sure..."

"...I will defeat you".

As those who explored the morning continued onward, they would find more and more magic floating around. People were using magic to power ovens, vehicles, robots even, and they were not only training in combat magic, but also practicing entertainment style magic, some where using magic with their instruments, or using it to help make quality items.

It was as if the entire city had gotten together for this event, to make it a huge hit for everyone.

Shinku though felt like his mind was a bit clouded now, and Akamaru noticed as well, but he had yet to realize the true danger of what had been done to him just yet.

Meanwhile, near the Mage's Guild, Azaken had decided to utilize some powerful disguising magic to have a little fun of his own. What was that, you may ask? Why, compete in the Grand Magi Games of course. That said, he was not the only one arriving at this time...there were two other people who were being especially noisy.

"No way! I am going to beat you!"

"Not a chance, Astral! You are going to lose to me!"

"You say something, girlie?"

"What was that, smallfry?!"

It seemed that two young boy mages, Astral and Luna, were currently having a massive argument as well. Azaken looked towards the two mages he saw nearby, while acting at least some level of normal, and couldn't help but ask.

"Is it me, or do they look happy argueing? They totally are smiling right now, right? Oh, are you two also competitors for the Grand Magi Games?"

Azaken asked Tavlin and Brand that, while disguised as a totally different person so that he could compete. After all, there was no normal way they would let a terrorist enter the Grand Magi Games. Thankfully he knew someone who had this ridiculously large collection of disguising magic artifacts and spells on hand.

Tavlin was a little bit shocked to be talked to by a complete stranger. He hadn't even been paying attention to the argument. He turned to look at the two arguing.

"Heh, yeah they are smiling it looks like. Yeah, I am here for the Magi Games. I need to sign up actually." He said with a friendly smile. He didn't really know anyone here and he didn't want to give away too much of what he was able to do, so he was a little sparse with the information.

"I'm actually new in town, or rather new to the planet. I don't really know anyone here. My name's Tavlin, but most my friends call me Tav." He said as he introduced himself to the others.

It had taken a while, but Elysia, Ixa and Snowflake had made it to civilization. And then proceeded to get into quite a few noodle incidents, which the three of them would NEVER EVER speak about again EVER, if only for the ammunition they had against each other. Ixa's pursuers hadn't stopped trying in the meantime, but on the few times they did catch the three off guard, they were rather easily dispatched anyway.

That is, if they broke through the Nefarious Intent Ward Elysia had created. She had bound it to a simple bracelet, and as she had told Ixa when she gave it to him, it made him rather hard to spot for anyone wishing him harm. That did leave them open to pursuers that personally didn't care about him one way or another, but it did help at least a small bit. Aside from that there was a currently inactive tracker in it, Elysia having promised to only use it if Ixa got caught somehow, or if he lost the bracelet and they needed to find it. Last was a charm so that only one of the three of them could take it off.

Elysia had decided to come to Questrios to join in the Grand Magi Games. In part because she liked to know where she stood in magic, when compared to the styles that were used in this universe, for safety's sake. The largest part was her just being a huge magic nerd though. She did realize the Seed would give her a bit of an unfair advantage, providing her with a constant stream of energy if needed, but then again, it was not like other mages didn't have aces up in their sleeves.

Originally they were going to make their way to the Mages Guild Headquarters immediately, but like the country bumpkin she might as well have been, she had been distracted by pretty much everything. Ixa joining in most of the times.

She had been rather baffled at the fact that some of the Knights seemed to use dragons as a mount. Dragons had been Calamity Class beings in her world, without a single exception. Luckily she didn't panic in front of everyone, if only because that had already happened before, when she had not learned of the difference between them.

There was quite a lot more, but she was already being distracted by something else.

Brand chuckled at the two mages arguing, before turning to the other two mages he’d been brought into conversation with.

“Yeah, I’m here for the games too. Mainly ‘cause I have no idea what to do with my magic. Or life. I’m Brand,” The young mage replied, offering them both a handshake. He was quite comfortable talking to strangers, taking a friendly, casual tone. “Nice to meet ya! I use fire magic and shapeshifting, fire doesn’t generally work on me and I’m super weak to ice and water.”

A few of the other people in the room fell silent and stared at him with dumbfounded expressions for revealing his abilities and weaknesses in such an upfront manner. When he noticed this reaction he simply shrugged.

“Sorry for the info dump, it saves anyone trying to figure out what I do and it’s more fun if it’s a challenge. I’m new here too, from Terra. Oh and don't worry,” he continued, "I won't ask you about your magic."

Questrios City Air Traffic Tower, North Side:

"Sir, we have a request to land. Its a strange ship like you were looking for..."

The air traffic control tower looked back at the Enforcement Officer, the man...no, the boy, who he had been ordered to report to. Lyrian LeCross. Dressed in an old fashioned style, and keeping a katana sheathed on his side, the boy who had cat ears and tail seemed rather focused and cool. No, his presence had that aura of a cool kid in general.

"Hmm. ALthough it could be, it seems unlikely those are the people I am looking out for" Lyrian told him. "Besides, no flags are coming up, so we legally have to let them land...but, it would be a shame if no one was there to greet them, wouldn't it. Keep me informed of future developments, I shall go greet our guests".

As Lyrian told him that, he turned around and headed down towards the landing zone they had been designated to. After all, better safe then sorry.

Questrios City: Outside of the Mage's Guild

"Tavlin huh? My name is Rulo Cross, its a pleasure to meet you" Azaken told them, giving a fake name as if it was his natural name. He then looked at the other man who had offered his hand. He took the hand to shake, but then also quickly leaned in and gave it a kiss. After that, he quickly let it go and chuckles. "Oh, sorry, did I startle you? That was just a natural part of a customary greeting where I am from, but I keep forgetting, thats not natural for most people right?"

He said that, although in truth both had been phrased as questions, and for good reason. That was because it meant he had yet to give anything that would be seen as a command, after having used his power, Kiss of Command. It would make anyone he kissed follow a command he gives, so provided Brand did not pull away before his lips made contact, it should work.

"But you know, I bet your magic would be awesome. You should definently use some powerful flashy magic right here. Don't worry about the danger, I am sure surrounded by all these mages it will be fine".

Disguising his words as a carefree personality sort, he said those things. Well, even if Brand had pulled away before Azaken got the kiss in, he still would have said those words, to see if he could spark even some normal reckless behavior.

"I cant wait to see everyone's magic and what it can do, after all!"

Meanwhile, Azler was also approaching the Mage's Guild as he noticed those others, including the approaching Ixa and Elysia, and Astral and Luna. Aedrios himself was also just opening the doors of the Mage's Guild so people could enter the building and register, hoping to see some interesting magic himself.

"Oh! Oh! I think we made it Elysia!" Ixa said, as they approached the Mage's Guild HQ. It seemed that it was quite crowded, with dozens if not hundreds already coming to register.

"I will show you my magic is more powerful!"

"In your dreams!"

And in front of Ixa and Elysia, Luna and Astral had ended up right in their path. Neither were casting spells, but rather summoning magic power directly from their bodies in a brute force attempt to push each other back. In this instance, whoever had the superior magic power would be the victor, however...

"Errr!"

"Uhhhhhggggg!"

The two were completely balanced, to a point of silliness. It was not a close match, their magic power levels were exactly identical. Neither one was superior to the other, it was totally balanced out.

Snowflake, who had hidden herself from being viewed normally, couldn't help but be a bit...shocked.

"They are completely equal. Just...what are the odds of that? Elysia, you understand the differences of people and how magical powers develop. Is such a sight even supposed to be possible?"

Snowflake actually asked a bit of a silly question, as it was clearly possible since it was happening before them. Ixa, who had been happily admiring his new bracelet and enjoying the sights with Elysia, couldn't help but tilt his head.

"Is it really so odd? They seem like good friends after all, maybe they trained together equally?"

"But there are also the factors they are born with..."

"I think it just proves they are good friends, that they trust each other not to push each other away!"

"No...I am pretty sure they are actively trying to push each other though....well, we should probably just stop this silliness, and then go register ourselves".

Tavlin took note of the mischievous gleam in Azaken's eyes as he kissed the other mage who had so carelessly mentioned his weaknesses. There was clearly some sort of chaos magic at play here. The way Azaken spoke, the words were very deliberate, not something that was very noticeable, but Tavlin picked up on it right away. He knew all to well that words were power in this line of work and a spell could be cast quite easily on a novice without their knowledge.

He shook Brand's hand as well. When Azaken made his rather loud announcement of wanting to see everyone's magic and what they could do, Tavlin nodded and gave a sly grin.

"I'm interested in seeing yours at work too." He said before he was distracted by the other young mages coming toward the building as well and arguing over whose power was stronger.

Meanwhile, another bus came to the nearest bus stop and a young felinoid Aonian stepped off and walked toward the Mage's guild. His silver and black fur shimmered a little in the sunlight. He was wearing a black thin hoodie with teal green trim and a striped tank top underneath along with a pair of black cargo shorts. He had a pair of headphones on that were attached to a small music player that had a near infinite storage capacity. He took the headphones off so that he could pay attention to what was going on around him. He walked toward the guild building and looked almost too small to be a mage as he was so short and young. He walked past all the others, Tavlin took note of him as well, and went to the front desk to register.

Rayia eased the TIE Phantom onto the landing pad the strange sound of it's twin ion engine shutting down as the ship came to rest. "Well her goes nothing." Rayia said as she exited the pilot seat.

Kassandra pulled on her helmet and readied herself while Rayia went over and activated the commando droid that would serve as a guard for the Phantom fighter should anyone be foolish enough to tamper with it.

A young mage walked into the area before the mages guild itself, grimacing a little. At his side, a Succubus on his arm. She seemed rather affectionate, which was likely the catalyst for his apparent discomfort.

Norme, my Norme. Now that we're here in Questrios City, standing outside the Mages Guild, what shall we do together?

The Succubus crossed her arms, her fiery hair intensifying its orange glow as she adopted a confident look. It was clear she was a demon through her orange skin, orange eyes, and pointed ears, as well as her tail and her cloven hooves. Her nails, though not long, seemed sharp and ready, likely able to be used as claws, and she stood slightly taller than the young mage she accompanied. She wore some kind of armor, though it looked demonic in origin, and was made of dark-colored metals and thick brown furs. At her waist was a spellbook, chained to a belt she wore that also held two small pouches and a small case.

We shall enter the Grand Magi Games. I've been in the shadow of my siblings when it comes to magic, and a stage like this will finally let me prove that I am just as capable as they are! Of course, it's thanks to your help. I really do value it, and I'll be counting on you during this tournament just as much.

The young mage replaced his grimace with a confident look of his own. He was a Human, and he was likely raised on Origin, but something seemed off. He also dressed about as expected by a mage; in robes befitting a scholar. A robe, belts, tunic, and shawl, all coordinated in blues, greens, and beige. He also wore brown boots and had a hat that was quite large compared to himself. His hands were covered by brown gloves, and he too bore a tome at his side, as well as small pouches and cases of his own. He was slightly shorter than the demon that accompanied him, but it seemed he was in control of their choices.

Norme began walking to the Headquarters itself so he could sign up, trying his best to not be approached by the other people in the area, and Jezebeth clung to his arm as a romantic partner might.

I'm always glad to help you, Norme. Of course, I already know you're stronger than your family. No offense, but they were kind of lackluster when I met them. Ahaha! Hahaha!

If no one hailed them, they'd enter the Mages Guild Headquarters.

Brand was slightly taken aback by the unusual greeting from ‘Rulo’, however he didn’t react much and instead shrugged it off. “In some places people kiss each other on the cheeks, there’s nothing weird about it. Nice to meet you, Rulo, Tavlin,” he said, beaming at the two of them.

The fire mage probably looked like a fool to those more experienced, especially Azaken, since he’d seemed not even slightly suspicious. Not that it mattered, since Azaken wouldn’t have needed his spell in order to cause some chaos. Brand would be happy to oblige either way.

The pyromancer grinned, stepping back from the queue as he twirled his hand around in the air. A small, delicate trail of fire danced around it, which crackled as it morphed into a ring of embers. He tossed this up into the air above, where it exploded like a small firework, forming the shape of a golden phoenix, which beat its wings once or twice before disappearing in a flurry of sparks.

He got a good scolding from a few of the other mages waiting in line (partly due to some of them being singed by sparks) but overall no real harm done and he looked quite pleased with himself, although he was still none the wiser to Azaken’s magic.

Not long after, he had registered, thankfully being in no serious trouble, and was standing outside the HQ like before, chatting to anyone who’d put up with him.

Azaken was happy to see his actions taking success, as he loved the sight of chaos. It was something he enjoyed, the chaos that people could create, and how they could react in different and unique ways, and he especially loved seeing people surprise him. He loved that the most, the fact people could keep surprising him.

The event in question got the attention of everyone else though, including Astral and Luna, finally breaking up their fight.

"Hey, watch it!"

They also responded in unison, further strengthening Ixa's belief that they were great friends.

However, it seemed that little display caught another's attention as well.

"Alright people! Enough dawdling about!"

This voice spoke with wisdom and age, but also had a fierce power and spark inside of it. One that might make people want to obey, to listen, and to not interrupt him.

This was the voice of the Mage's Guild leader, Aedrios Gale.

"Alright everyone! Come on in and get registered already! It wont be too much longer till the games start, so you don't want to procrastinate it!"

Hearing the voice of their old master, both Astral and Luna practically snapped to attention, and did not dawdle in the slightest. Many others followed them, entering the Guild Building and its truly magical and fantastical nature. Even from the small view through the doorway out there, one could see books flying past, floating lights, and of course...breathtakingly attractive male and female receptionists.

"You may converse inside if you please, but lets at least get this started!"

Ixa, who also heard all of this, looked at Ryder.

"Looks like its time to enter!"

Shinku however, while following, didn't quite feel himself...and Akamaru meanwhile made a call.

Lyrian went and met the people who had parked, along with several immigration workers from the Origin Immigration Agency. Lyrian kept a cool look around these people, all of who had legendary class paperwork skills that should not be underestimated, with various documents ready to be filled out and completed.

"Welcome to Origin. My name is Lyrian LeCross, Enforcer".

One of the people next to him came next to Lyrian, and kneeled as a clip board and some papers, along with a pen, were presented to him.

"Archon LeCross! Please use mine!"

"Thank you. But no need to use my rank here. After all, our guests wont know the rankings most likely..." he said, keeping a cool voice. One might noticed his clothes were a bit more old fashioned besides the boots, but that the katana on his side practically radiated a supernatural power.

Turning back to the guests, he continued to speak.

"Now then, we just need some registration information and some forms filled out, like for parking, which should only take a few minutes, and then we could guide you to the Mage's Guild to register for the Grand Magi Games. Sounds good?"

Tavlin made his way to the desk and began looking over the paper work as he took a clipboard and went to sit down and filled things out. The questions on the form were just the basic information and didn't ask for anything too personal, so Tavlin wasn't too worried. He returned the clipboard and went to do a little exploring.

Meanwhile, Aneko made his way to the front desk and noticed the boy who introduced himself as Lyrian LeCross the enforcer of the guild. He was a little awestruck to see another feline since he hadn't seen one since he escaped from Aonia. He could tell that he wasn't Aonian like himself, but he still felt a kinship to other feline races. He walked up to the boy who looked to be a little older than him, though not by much.

"Hi, Lyrian, I'm Aneko. You're a feline race too! Where are you from? I'm from Aonia. You're the first feline I've seen since I left there." Aneko gushed getting a little over excited, his lack of social skills starting to show as he hadn't spent much time with other people but had been training his powers alone. His fluffy tail swished back and forth as he got excited by the idea of making a new friend.

Elysia didn't notice much of anything, having gone in lecture mode at Snowflake's question. It wasn't until it was her turn to register that she was forced to focus on something else. She stared at the clipboard. The questions weren't all that outlandish, being basic information, but then again, her circumstances weren't that ordinary either.

"Hmm, Age huh..?", she muttered, "Even if I don't count my time 'outside', I lost track after the first few millennia." In the end she decided to cast a cantrip to divine her actual age. Her initial attempt at casting it failed. She had forgotten to account for the fact that her own universe was destroyed, and the root of the spell was set there. It wasn't until she had her magic direct the query to the Seed she was host of, that she got an answer to her question.

Of course this DID include her time in the Void. She couldn't help but stare at the number. Changing the query, she got the actual answer. It changed the amount of years less than she had hoped, but she wasn't going to lie about it, no matter how much she was tempted to.

Her casual modification of magic hadn't gone unnoticed by most, some actually being able to divine the extent of what she just did.

"So... Age: 28754-years-of-relevant-existence...", Elysia continued muttering. After that she went to planet of birth. Here she simply put down 'Fysalda'. and when it came to the Location of said world(Space Sector and/or Plain of Existence) she had no choice but to put down N/A.

She had to skip a few other answers to questions, for lack of having them, until she finally finished by signing the Waiver. She wasn't all that worried about her 'life' all things considered. Mostly because she was outside of that cycle, simply being. A true immortal.

As people stepped up and took some registration forms, a strange vortex appeared on the ceiling. For a moment, nothing came through, and then it closed. Nothing happened, so people shrugged their shoulders and disregarded it....until another vortex opened up, and Jaune, Demor, and Iviri fell through.

"Owww...."

"Could someone please get off of me?!"

"Jaune! Kimaru! Thank goodness, I just detected a spike in interference with the neural lin..."

And then, as if on cue, a huge stream of fire emerged, centered around a red haired boy (Shinku) like a flaming snake, with extreme hostility. There was no precursor incident (aside from Azaken's brainwashing from earlier that morning), and no trigger. It just happened immediately, and then struck out towards the audience. Its brilliant flames flaring with life....and then, several swords launched out from the flames and changed up the attack entirely.

But at that same time, a huge gust of wind seemed to knock the flames away and restore piece, even blowing the figure who had been hidden by fire and smoke out of sight...

"Whew...that was close...now, stay still!"

In truth, Jaune had just sped Shinku to the opposite side of the room to get out of eyesight while he figured out what the hell just happened. Of course, most people might miss it, but anyone with exceptional perceptive abilities might have noticed.

Iviri was still confused about what happened, but so where many others. Ixa just stayed by Elysia and hoped to not get involved. Plus, he was not a big fan of fire.

However, it was at this point that the leader of the Mage's Guild, Aedrious Gale, appeared.

"Do not worry. Sometimes, magical anomalies happen in these areas. Please stay calm and know that you are in no danger here, as the security people already had barriers and other countermeasures deployed to deal with the situation if needed. Now then, since I am here, and you are all here, does anyone have any questions about the Grand Magi Games that will be hosted soon?"

Despite his age, he spoke loudly and clearly to everyone, and given his height, towered over most if not all of the people there.

Rayia made her way at last into the mage guild hq. Mages of all sizes and sorts where rushing around to get sighed up and settled in. Any that could sense it would feel a darkness coming from Rayia has she walked into the hq. The Red armored figure of Kassandra soon joined her side have had finished filling out the docking paper she joined her mistress.

"Some of these are just kids..." Muttered Kassandra.

Rayia was silent making her way to the nearest table. "So is this where I sign up?"

Needless to say, Demor was a little surprised by being warped to the Mages Guild Headquarters via portal stone... or whatever it was that got him here. Landing on his stomach, the Male Drachini rolled to his feet, and then stretched out his body, now fully relaxed and clean from his time at the baths with Iviri and Jaune. His tail swished out behind him, likewise stretching as he yawned, revealing sharp teeth. As he finished he licked his lips and crossed his arms over his chest, blinking slowly.

Looking around, Demor took in the area around him, and each individual he could see, or smell, or even just magically sense. There was a massive amount of magic energy in the area, and he sensed that the games would prove to be quite the spectacle to be a part of, let alone to watch. A bolt of lightning sparked around his body, arcing around his shoulder as he became eager, and he shivered with excitement.

"Well, that's one way to make an entrance I suppose..." he commented finally before turning to Iviri, offering the boy his tail to help him to his feet if he hadn't already made it there yet.

Norme, currently seated in a chair, finished filling out his form as Jezebeth peered over his shoulder, an inquisitive eye trained on the paper.

Well, Norme, it seems the host has made himself known. He's got a powerful aura though, so you'd best be on guard.

Norme looked up and filled out the last part of the sheet, completing it.

Urgh. Just being in the room with him is oppressive. Well, we'd best listen carefully. Some questions may give us the information we need to take note of.

Norme glanced at one of his gloved hands, a look of determination crossing his face as Jezebeth placed her own like hand on top of his, surprising him. The faint glowing marks embedded in each were identical.

Jezebeth...

Oh, my Norme. Remember we share our power, and my power is far more intense than any lowly demon you may have ever known; it's a power you have to your name as well. We'll succeed for sure, and I've got your back as long as you have mine. That's a part of this connection, right?

Yes. You're right. I think he's about to speak more, let's ready ourselves, and commit everything he says to memory.
