here is no just reason why any child should suffer the stigma and hate from their elders just because of something that the Almighty God has brought upon them. Whether they are deformed, marked, or simply different in personality, a child should never have to suffer what they will soon have to deal with as they age. In all; Ignorance is bliss and sometimes a child should just stay ignorant of some things. Though this is not the way of how one would raise their children or how any clan, tribe, family, and-or society allows. When the masses are ignorant of something they do not understand, they become xenophobic and retaliate with anger or even blind hatred. Sometimes shedding light on some of it helps, but in whole, it is simply in the human nature alone to be defensive and attempt to find some way of escaping some primitive fear that's still ingrained within the mind.
Awiti has had to deal with this issue since she was born and to say she has had an easy life is nothing, but comical and chuckle worthy. In truth, from birth all the way up to ten years of age, her life was something hellish, or even outright depressing to someone on the outside looking in, and by quick instinct; strangers and soon to be friends that hear such a sad tale are fast to feel pity or try to empathize with her in some way, even hope to 'cheer her up', or just to indulge themselves in attempts to feel better about themselves. Some have even tried to exploit such traumatic results in her life in ways of manipulation and mind games that often end up falling flat. In whole; Awiti is just a unique person with a shitty childhood and a current lifestyle revolved around her deformities that sometimes hinder her with day-to-day activities. It's not an easy life, but it's a life nonetheless and she cherishes it every day the best way she can.

Her physical disabilities make it difficult for Awiti to make friends and to get involved with social interactions. The awkward stares and the constant streams of the same questions she's asked repeatedly encourages her to be quiet and careful to reply. Many see her slow and stupid, maybe even mentally retarded in some ignorant perspectives, but her decision to stay silent even with the simplest 'yes or no' questions is a matter of choice and self control over her emotions. Fiery and constantly on edge, Awiti holds a short temper that is often struck easily even by the simplest prod or poke in her direction. Another thing that supports her characteristics is the lack of parental care she was given as a child.
Although her mother loved her greatly and risked her own life to save her child, Awiti can easily remember the start of her childhood and interaction with her mother nothing, but neglect. Being hidden away with only the interaction of plants and farm animals as 'friends', the mother's warmth and love that all children first learn was not given to Awiti, it's true that her mother relied more for her to suckle on the teat of a goat than to have her own daughter breastfeed from her own. Awiti was rarely touched and nurtured, nor was she given much affection from her mother, was slow with learning how to talk and walk, and in fact she was unable to learn how to read and write until she was around twelve. Because of this lack of parental care, Awiti has had issues with giving and receiving affections from others as well as having difficulty comprehending romantic relationships.

In some ways Awiti could be considered reptilian in personality; she lacks some forms of kindness and her emotions seem to be borderline one dimensional of three-to-five attitudes. Sometimes she's known to be a cold-heart, even lacking a few moral perspectives that one would find dangerous or even deadly that cause a stint of intimidation. She's free with her sexual endeavors because she knows that sex is something that brings her pleasure and it's something that she enjoys. She's blunt and simple with explaining things because she know it's the fastest way for one to understand her opinions. Music is enjoyed because it comforts her and the looks of subtle facial expressions one shows in disgust, fear, and terror arouse her because Awiti knows that she's the one in control of the situation and that person for the time being. Anger is reacted by anger and aggression from others and all of these are the same for anyone else, yet what Awiti lacks is how to comprehend such emotions at the correct time or sometimes she reacts too quickly via hair trigger on the slightest action of simple words.

Albinism (from Latin albus, "white"; see extended etymology, also called achromia, achromasia, or achromatosis) is a congenital disorder characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, hair and eyes due to absence or defect of tyrosinase, a copper-containing enzyme involved in the production of melanin. Albinism is associated with a number of vision defects, such as photophobia, nystagmus and astigmatism. Lack of skin pigmentation makes for more susceptibility to sunburn and skin cancers. In rare cases such as Chédiak–Higashi syndrome, albinism may be associated with deficiencies in the transportation of melanin granules. This also affects essential granules present in immune cells leading to increased susceptibility to infection. In physical terms, humans with albinism commonly have visual problems and need sun protection. But they also face social and cultural challenges (even threats), as the condition is often a source of ridicule, discrimination, or even fear and violence. Cultures around the world have developed many beliefs regarding people with albinism. In African countries such as Tanzania and Burundi, there has been an unprecedented rise in witchcraft-related killings of albino people in recent years, because their body parts are used in potions sold by witchdoctors. Numerous authenticated incidents have occurred in Africa during the 21st Century. National Geographic estimates that in Tanzania a complete set of albino body parts is worth $75,000. Another harmful and false belief is that sex with an albinistic woman will cure a man of HIV. This has led, for example in Zimbabwe, to rapes (and subsequent HIV infection).

Photophobia is a symptom of abnormal intolerance to visual perception of light. As a medical symptom, photophobia is not a morbid fear or phobia, but an experience of discomfort or pain to the eyes due to light exposure or by presence of actual physical photosensitivity of the eyes, though the term is sometimes additionally applied to abnormal or irrational fear of light such as heliophobia. Patients may develop photophobia as a result of several different medical conditions, related to the eye or the nervous system. In some cases those who are born with it see the full spectrum of light. While in the direct sun light it causes red glare around the visual field which causes pounding headaches.

Therianthropy refers to the metamorphosis of humans into animals. Therianthropes are said to change forms via shapeshifting. It is currently unknown how Awiti managed to obtain this ''power'', yet she was born with it and has always had it ever since she was an infant. Whether it's a gift-curse from an Unnamed God or simply along the lines of genetics that have skipped a few generations, Awiti is, simply put; a Werecrocodile. Unlike werewolves, her transformations are not dependent upon the cycles of the moon, instead her transformations are a bit more difficult to target and time due to being able to shift during high levels of stress, anger, or even overzealous excitement which causes quite a commotion at times. This is a dubious explanation on why Awiti encourages herself to control her emotions and at least attempt to keep her anger below the red line. Contrary to popular belief, the transformation from human to a giant-two-legged-crocodile-beast is not enjoyable. Her entire, physical form is changing and being torn in two so that the beast within can be set free. Imagine it like being the Hulk Transformation, but with the literal feeling of a large body ripping itself free from its small, contained, fleshy cage. Each transformation brings pain, which triggers more anger and rage into Awiti to where she lashes out in blind fury at anyone and anything of a radius of her. Luckily, the transformations are short and rather easy to help Awiti shift back into a human state, though not many people are willing to approach a giant, albino crocodile monster, standing at nine feet in height.
Still, not all sanity is lost when Awiti is in this form. She is sometimes able to decipher allies from enemies by scent and music seems to trigger her consciousness back into reality so that she may be able to pull the beast back into the cage. Yet, to say that Awiti hates her 'gift' is absurd and hilarious to her. Where many would see it as a curse and a demonic burden, she embraces it proudly and sometimes instigates conflicting situations to show her pure power and might, the smell of fear and blood only encourages this. This is not to say that she's the outright villain or an evil bitch, but if the Unnamed God blessed her with this, then she intends to use it to her advantage when the situation calls for it.

Awiti sat at the edge of the lake on the other side. She looked about, fishing pole in hand and bait tackle box resting at her side. A soft tribal song was hummed while a large hat, almost like a sombrero hat made of dried reeds and grass, sat atop her head to shade her from the morning sun. Gloved hands kept her fingers warm from the cool wind that blew about as she pulled the fishing pole back in hopes to rebait her hook to obtain fish.

Kharid lifted a hand to shade his eyes and spotted a woman by the lake on the other side, the lady was fishing in this weather? He'd met crazier people on his pirating ventures, he supposed. The man gripped the side of the stack of boulders and slid down, keeping a tight check on his position so he didn't go tumbling into the water.

Kharid stood at the edge of the water, bringing up his hands to wave to the stranger on the other side, waving erratically. "Hey! Help! Can you hear me?" Kharid shouted at the top of his voice, hands cupping his mouth.

Awiti perked up at a voice in the distance. She looked around in search of the owner and frowned when nothing was seen. Standing up in hopes to get a better view, she adjusted her hat and sunglasses over her eyes to stare straight ahead. On the other side of the lake she could see a..man? Someone or something waving their arms wildly in attempts to get her attention. She raised her own arm up gingerly, giving a half sort of wave and giving a nod of her head to confirm that she could hear the stranger.

"Earthquake!" Kharid shouted. "Soon! Miners hit something nearby! I'm warn-" The figure was cut short by a huge rumble and boulders falling behind him, the entire ground shook and the lake waved and quivered under the quake. Kharid fell into the water, stumbling and holding his head, the boulders above him were shaking above him, threatening to cave his head in.

The rocks and boulders started to fall, pelting the rider with small rocks and then a large one came rolling down like a giant's fist, pinning the man underwater. "Hel-gurgl."

Awiti stood wide eyed and in shock. She couldn't even hear what he was saying since the earth shattering rumble had overtaken his cries. Awiti attempted to keep her own balance, the outcries of birds in the distance followed up by the rumbling groans of boulders cracking free from the cliff to crash down. She stood with mouth open in shock and horror at seeing the man attempting to avoid the falling rocks by wading into the water. Yet that was of no help as a large cluster of the boulders were quick to pelt him down under the surface.

Awiti didn't need a second response, she tore off her hat and practically ripped off her clothes. With a quick running start, she darted into the waters and dove under the surface. Moment's would pass, the man would be losing breath soon, yet a dark shadow of something was swimming towards him at rapid pace. The thing far larger than any grown human man and far wider as well. The red eyes seemed to glow bright with the rays of sunlight hitting it. A glimmer of something pearly pink-white scales rushed past him as he'd feel a strong force shove the boulder over and large hand grabbing at his back and shoulders to pry him free.

The rider backed up against the rock, gasping for air and pushing himself upwards. Kharid knew how to ride on the back of a dragon in the air, a thousand feet in the air but a few feet below water level and he was as useless as cripple.

At first; Kharid had thought he had been scooped up by a monstrous fish and his life was about to end to some nameless predator and he struggled at first, kicking wildly and losing breath as he went under in his recklessness. The rider stopped struggling suddenly, calming and allowing Awiti to grab him, throwing his head to the surface.

Kharid spat and wrapped his arms around Awiti's left... arm-thing.

The earthquake continued around them, and some of the fish started to beach themselves on the other side of the lake and animals were screeching, cawing.

A white crocodile dragged Kharid to the surface so he could breathe. At first the consciousness of Awiti was somewhat scared, even terrified at the idea of some complete stranger finding out about her curse, but in this situation it was overlooked by the life of another.

Awiti shoved Kahrid up to the surface, both of them now in the center of the lake with the waves still splashing and rising against them from the surge of stones still falling from the cliff. With a bit of movement and a curl of her body, she forced Kharid to rest upon her back, the massive frame of the crocodile was at least six times larger than any other crocodile seen. The human body structure still apparent in the shoulders and long neck and down the back confirmed Awiti's lycanthropcy. The scales were plated down her back, translucent white-pink of pearl color with spikes and ridges that made the feeling of friction and rough edges against the man's legs. Like a log, Awiti floated on the surface of the water and turned slightly with her large, red eye staring at Kharid in attempts to get a look at him. Sadly her eyesight wasn't the greatest and was worse in daylight with the sun up so high. A low rumble that made the now settling waters vibrate encouraged Awiti to slowly start swimming towards the shore.

Kharid happily rested on the albino crocodiles back, safe from the water and whatever else was swimming around the depths of the lake. There was to saying among his people that a fall from the sky was safer than a dive to the depths. Kharid looked to the crashing boulders and shook his head, he could feel the bile rise in his throat as he thought what might happen to the neighboring cities.

Also he hoped that he wasn't eaten by this were...crocodile. A lot of were-things didn't have control over their forms when they shifted, but this was different, more like... a choice rather than some form of supernatural rabies and for that grace of this stranger being here for him, instead of leaving him to do, he was grateful.

"Th-th-thanks." Kharid coughed, hoping they'd arrive on the shore soon.

Awiti stood outside of the large building. A bar? Some kind of weird factory turned into a bar it seemed? She really couldn't tell at this point, but the stink of chemicals and wood varnish made her nose sting and scrunch up in pain. She opened the door and stepped in, the blare and blast of music making her wince again in pain as she kept her head down and pulled her hood tight around her head to hide her a bit more. Her face was hidden under a bandanna of a crocodile's mouth, skeletal and woven with her own fingers that raised up to adjust her sunglasses.

Not many noticed her enter, some assumed that she was just a client or just a nobody. Yet she caught the attention of the bouncer at the door who grabbed at her shoulder and yanked her back in attempts to get her attention.

"Oi! No kids allowed! Get out!" he snapped darkly. Awiti stared up at him, fists clenched and body tensing up with a low rumble escaping from the back of her throat.

Awiti turned towards the bar, disregarding 'Frank' and sitting down at one of the bar stools. She didn't make herself seriously known, the seat at the far corner of the bar table was claimed by herself as she placed her gloved hands into her jacket pockets. Her head was bowed, bartender taking confused and awkward glances in her direction while wiping down a few glasses with a dishrag.

"Whatta have?" he asked with a deep voice.
"....." she stared in his direction. Fear of speaking? A mute? Or just a bitch? The barman couldn't tell so he didn't bother her anymore and went back to his duties.

Awiti gave a slow nod at Benjamin's words to confirm her name. She wasn't really keen on giving her entire name, more or less she didn't know her actual last name and she was never given a middle name until she moved away. Still, she accepted the jacket and placed it in her lap for the time being until she could find a proper location to change.

"What's the initiation?" she asked softly while the tender shoved a glass of water in front of her. She accepted it with a nod in thanks, taking the glass to remove her bandanna over her face to take a few quick sips then fell silent once more.

Awiti looked around and removed her sunglasses to show clear, crystal-blue eyes that seemed to almost glow in the dim light, the white of her eyes a bit of pink-red smeared over to give her eyes an odd purple look at first glance as she gazed about the group members idly. Most were human, though some supported the obvious inhuman features that made them stand out, still she didn't feel as welcome as she should have with the celebration and mirth going on about.

"Hides my skin from the sun. It's still a bit bright outside.." she said lightly while slowly untying the bandanna from her face to reveal pale skin dotted with a few orange freckles. She opted to keep her hoody on since it allowed the shadow to cover her features more.

"That..and I'm not too fond of showing my face to others until I know they're content with my disability.." she added while staring over at Benjamin.

Chapter 1: BROTHERS, BANDITS AND BEGINNINGS.

There was a loud noise as a large oval table was dragged into the room by three prospects with the screech of wood on metal. The table was magnificent black wood, polished and inscribed with the words 'Saol. Bás. Nglacadóir de Souls. Bráithre Till An Deireadh' Benjamin stood to the side, watching the proceedings.

The bikers begun to clear out, and the visitors were either forced out by the numerous bartenders. The magnificent table stood in the middle of the pub, the inscription shining in the light. Chairs were brought in, and calls were made to the members of the Gae Ceann to come urgently, and those who came late would have their club pay docked.

Benjamin took his seat at the head of the table, sliding into a seat and pouring a bottle of Irish whiskey down his gullet. The president waited his club, as there were many things to discuss.

Outside an infernal gurgle cued Rayan's arrival. The bike droned on like a sea siren in the night, engine burbling down as the thing was shut off. Moments later, the front door would swing open with a kick from a muddy boot. Slicking what water was left in Rayan's 'do out with a flick the biker squelched over to the table.

Kicking a chair backwards Rayan descended, grinning. Wonder what this's all about? Rayan rested his chin on folded arms over the back of the chair, eyeballing the bottle of whiskey.

"'Sup?"

Having been already inside the banshee stood up and yawned, cracking her knuckles, grinning toothily and replying, "Wait for it lads an' lasses 'e's gonna tell us, 'is deck fallen aff an' we 'av ter go fend it. or maybe yer man 'ill send us lookin' for 'is cat, aka sum pussy. or maybe even better more violence, Renny love sum ol' violence." taking a whisky glass, she downed the remaining concoction before smashing it down roughly, "Let's jist 'ope 'tis somethin' new, scon are bored an' actually foun' meself bein' nice lately, whaich is pure unbecomin' av oi."

Walking over over to the table, she sat herself, placing her feet on top, and leaning back, as she closed her eyes and listened to everyone 'dramatic entrances, this oughta be cute.

The door would simply open as the ghoul walked in. That's all. No kicking in doors, no holes in the wall, no breaking through the roof on a motorcycle while fucking a chick, simple walking through the door. The only odd thing would be the black fedora on his head.

"Knock Knock, Jimmy's home."

As the ghoul spoke a slight chuckle could be heard coming from him. He would move towards the table before taking a chair and moving it towards the back, resulting in it standing in the shadows, but still a pretty small distance away from the table. A distance they would most likely not complain about. He then jumped onto it with feet and claws and simply waited for the meeting to start.

The door would simply be opened once more a little bit after the ghoul made his way in, the use of hands not being necessary by Yojimbo as he simply had walked forward towards the door, his nose being long enough to open it as he walked ahead. The burly yet slightly older man spoke up in his gruff voice.

"I have no witty entrance, but...I'm here, Yojimbo, the tengu with the big nose.."

Saying this, he'd shuffle his way over towards the table as well, sitting down on the wood as he folded his hands together, simply listening for the time being, like some of the others, waiting for the meeting to start....If it will even start. Who knows? Not Yojimbo, that's for sure.

Rayan raised a hand signalling that a drink would be much enjoyed. Patiently the gang member waited, smiling graciously at Ub in thanks. Rayan drummed lithe fingers on the table, taking note of everyone who had entered with a single glance. The Gae Ceann had assembled, alright. A cig was lit, so Rayan lit another.

"Soooooooo," Ashes on the ground, exhale on the air.
