Personality

Unlike most lycans, his personality traits are different, Instead of being aggressive and violent. His nature has taken on a much more gentle way. He is usually mellow, liking to take things slowly and not as energetic as most. Always kind to ones who deserve it, and even if he doesn't ask for help often, he would be glad to assist anyone in any way he can. Although he is kind natured, he does have a side that not many get to say they saw if they were it's provocation. Even though his personality is one found in a person you'd get along with, he doesn't like Humans all too well. He isn't violent towards them, there are just a handful he's willing to cope with - Lets hope you make a good first impression, that's usually all it takes.

Equipment

Nothing carried.

: ABILITIES:
Like many lycans, his senses are dramatically heightened. Even though he's not like many predators and does not hunt often, his keen senses of sight, smell, and hearing are at their peaks.

Also like many of the other lycans agility and speed is a factor, but he has developed the ability to run at impossible speeds. He has reached speed up to Mach 1 - Or the speed of sound.

The finale of his abilities is the most deadly. Azazyl has acquired the ability to harness energy within his lungs and along with a deep breath of air, expel it into a massive destructive force of highly pressurized air. In addition this blast wave of air also has a literally deafening roar, at least 340 decibels in volume. This force has the ability to pulverize stone and splinter wood - leaving the damage it causes to flesh up to your imagination, getting hit by this would probably be the last thing you'd do.

As with all abilities there are equivalent setbacks, which could possibly be the undoing of Azazyl.

History

Azazyl was born in Transylvania, and he was raised as all lycans were, violent, aggressive, and bloodthirsty. As Azazyl aged, he learned to hunt with his family, and after several years he became an excellent hunter, but the main thing Azazyl's pack had hunted for was humans. Once a week the family would hunt a single human to feed, and the humans bared this nightmarish lifestyle, for it was their own land that they were being hunted on. Many years later after Azazyl's birth, 16 to be precise, the humans of the hunting lands had finally grown tired of being prey for the Lycans. Fear from being hunted stayed them in their homes until they decided to put an end to their fears. The humans called for help form the closest surrounding town and villages and built up a force to defeat the werewolves.

On a cold winter night the humans stormed from the village and through the thick woods that surrounded them, to the Lycan's den. Azazyl's father, Oriax had foreseen the human's attack in a dream and had traveled to seek aid from his brethren throughout the countryside to help defend their home. Unfortunately not many came, the Lycan's forces had only rose to 21 in number, Azazyl's family made up 6 of the 21, his mother, father, 2 brothers, and sister. The humans had at least ten times as many. As the humans neared the Lycan's den, the werewolves poured from the caves and rushed into the massive mob of torch and blade wielding humans. The lycans slashed and shredded through the crowd of shock induced humans. The battle raged on for hours, and the lycans fought hard through cold iron, blood and moonlight.

As time passed the humans numbers had dwindled to at least a fourth of their original mass. Unfortunately the lycans had also lost a majority of their warriors. Only Azazyl's family remained in the vengeance hungry crowd of humans. Still they fought, their pelts soaked with human and their own blood. As the battle continued, Oriax the leader of the pack had finally fallen, his goal to protect his family had failed. As the family saw their leader, and father fall to the bloodied earth they retreated into the den. The humans stay outside, waiting for the lycans to attack once more. Azazyl and his brothers, Duemos and Caym, devised an ambush plan. While his mother and sister, rest their fatigued bodies. As the brothers rose to execute their plan, Azazyl mother and sister, Lilith and Kasdeya protested and attempted to convince them to flee, but the brothers' vengeance fueled anger of their father's death was impervious to the females' pleas.

While the family remained in the den, the humans had created a trap, that would set if anything were to come out of the cave, and as they completed the brothers mindlessly stormed out of the cave and fell into the humans' trap, the three struggle helpless under the net like trap outside of the den. A handful of men appear from the darkness of the trees. They laughed at the futile attempts of the brothers' to free themselves and one by one the humans would take their blades and impale a a lycan's chest. Duemos, Azazyl's older brother was the first to endure the torture. Azazyl and Caym cried out in terror and anger as they watch their brother die. Caym, Azazyl's younger brother had begun to cry at the sight of his beloved brother's death, Their mother Liltih heard the cries and rushed out of the cave to aid her sons, but as she entered the moonlit battlefield one of the humans had grown tired of the pup's whining and beheaded him. Lilith stood motionless as she watched her youngest son die, her mind suddenly blank she roared with fury and in an instant slew Caym's and Duemos' murderers, they fall to the ground, some gutted, some beheaded, the other humans that had come out to watch the execution hid back in the darkness of the trees.

Azazyl lie perfectly still under the trap as his mother cut him free. She begged her son to flee once more, and as Azazyl began to refuse the look in his mother's eyes made him hold his tongue and he ran in the opposite direction of the humans. After he had made it into the blackness of the forest he turned to see if his mother was following him. He froze where he stood as he watched the humans ambush his mother, he burst into tears as he watched her fall to the ground, arrows protruding from her back, he fell to his knees and almost decided to run back to kill the humans that ambushed his mother, but Lilith held up her hand and her eyes met her sons and with her last breath she told him to run.

Azazyl's mind had gone blank with hatred and sadness, but his body followed his mother's last command and he ran as fast and as far as he could. Hours later he collapsed in a field many miles away from his once home and family. He had ceased his tears because he had ran out tears to cry. His heart fell to pieces as he lie in the field, but he came to a realization, that what the humans had done was also the defeat of his brothers and mother. So he vowed to his lost loved ones that he would change, and live on as a new. He started a journey to travel the lands and find a place to start over, it has been twelve long years since he began it and he hasn't found his destination yet, but he's most definitely not giving up.

So begins...

Azazyl trudged through the entrance with his head down, in an unusually tired mood tonight. He rose his head as he neared the halfway mark to his destination and looked around to observe the attendants. Satisfied, his eyes trailed back to the floor and he continued his slow paced walk to the hearth, where he would lie down and curl up as best he could into a ball.

Azazyl 's eyes tightened as Briena scratched. As she moved lower his left hind leg began kick involuntarily and a small groan escaped his muzzle. He reached his hand to grab her wrist when he'd had enough. "Thank you." He said quietly in between the faint panting that had started. Curling himself back up into a semicircle, he stopped his leg stopped and his tail patted against the floor evenly again.

Azazyl squirmed as she started again, he sat up and grabbed both of her wrists, pulling her away from his "itchy spot". He smiled and laughed. "Thought I said that was enough." He pressed his nose to hers and flicked her lips with his tongue. "I'm sleepy today, we can play another time." He then wrapped his arms around her into a hug, he laid down onto the floor and pulled her on top of chest, smiling.

Azazyl chuckled at her persistence. "Relentless tonight." He rubbed her back softly and yawned. "I believe it's time for me to sleep." He gave the word sleep emphasis, dragging the "e" to make the word longer. Rolling to his side he wrapped his arm and his tail around Briena, pulling her close. His eyes closed and he began to doze silently.

Azazyl yawned as he protruded from the perimeter of the forest. He stood and brushed his fur to rid it of the random things one would accumulate in the forest, as he finished he twisted backwards to check if he'd got his back well enough. Satisfied he set his pace toward the tavern. He blinked several times as he entered the bar; his eyes dilated too quickly. after he adjusted himself he shook his head and stood, peering out over the many individuals within the bar. A grin pulled at his muzzle, he missed this place.

Azazyl 's smile completed as Briena pressed herself against him, he reached a hand and caressed his fingers about her throat fur in a massaging manner. He took a step and pulled at her ear loosely, not applying pressure so his fingers would slide as his arm went out of reach. His head turned to the side and one of his eyes met hers, swaying his head subtly forward signifying for her to follow. The front of the hearth and laid himself down creating a semicircle form.

Azazyl tilted his head and scooted it back into it's original position. He closed his eyes and exhaled slowly. "I haven't been well." He answered her slowly as he racked his brain for something for her statement about Arghoram. He let a grunt of dissatisfaction and sighed.

Azazyl 's eyes trailed to Malcolm, who was on the other side of the bar, his right ear flattened as he noticed the jittery gesture of his fingers. His mind was curious as to why one would act as such; was he alright? He didn't feel the need to move but nodded his muzzle head in Malcolm's direction. As Briena spoke again he smiled and shut his eyes, whispering again. "I'm glad I help so much."

Azazyl rose, pressing himself up on his arms as one would do a push up and stretched his frame. He gave a grunt when his back popped and his joints cracked. His tongue fell out of his mouth and he sighed. That felt good. He thought to himself as he slumped back onto the hardwood floor.

Azazyl sat up Indian style, from his relaxed position and faced Malcolm, leaning over with his elbows on his knees. "This is a tavern.." His Russian accent tinged his English. "While you're here you should get used to everyone, or you're going to have a hard time being here." He rose a fist to rest the end of his muzzle on it as Briena exited.

Azazyl laughed and sat up, pulling her lips away from his skin. "That'll be enough." He looked at the still wide open tavern bar door, hoping nobody had seen Briena's outburst. He stood and wrapped his other arm around her, setting her on her feet. He turned around and point to his dirty clothed back. "If you please?" He turned his head and gave her a pleading look.
