End's Story

End walks into the bar silently, without saying a word. Ruby eyes did not move to glance around the room, or even bother to see who was there. He didn't really care. He walked up to the bar and placed an order on the touchscreen, as the robot delivered a rather odd looking concoction he threw a few gold coins down on the counter. Picking up the glass, the pale skinned figure made his way over towards the fireplace.

This man had shaggy ebony hair, the deepest ruby eyes one would imagine. He wore a black overcoat, unbuttoned, with a white shirt beneath it. Black cargo pants that were denim. And dark black shoes, that did not shine. Nor was there any gloss to them. He stood and stared silently into the flames. Every few seconds this foreboding, ominous figure would lift his glass and sip at it.

End stands in silence, glaring into the fire. His knuckles tightening around his glass, some kind of blood cocktail, he raised it to his lips and took a large drink of his before the glass shattered in his hand. And this would draw a smile, destruction. He let the shards of glass fall upon the floor with the remaining concoction before glaring back into the flames.

End ignored the woman's words. In his little world he didn't care for her opinion, or the broken glass and blood on the floor at his feet. He remained in silence, not really caring to much for anything else that was going on around him, whom may of been there. What they were doing, or even that they existed. He didn't care, not one little bit. He reached forwards and grabbed a log from the bin, throwing it into the fire. He stood as he watched the flames consume the new source of fuel. The fire was delighted to lick hungrily at the uncharred wood, soon it would consume it, like all the logs prior. And this thought, brought this ominous man joy.

This would be the first time End spoke since finding himself here, "Your words are bitter and useless. Spoken through the voice of a hallowed vessel that has lost its passion." This mans voice was.. strange. Quiet, yet powerful. He didn't turn to the man, nor did he even further acknowledge the man past his few words.

What was this? Within End's grasp was.. a glass? And it was filled with the blood red concoction. The glass and blood on the floor at his feet, had vanished.

End didn't wait further. He was running out of time. He growled softly and stepped forwards, into the fireplace. As his feet touched the coals his entire body erupted in flames. Being drawn into the fire place by the normal draft a wood burning appliance creates. With that, he was gone.

There was a still in the bar. The fire began to roar and crack loudly within the fireplace. The flames began to jump growing in intensity and heat, they then began to jut out from the fireplace, licking across the mantle before a loud roar of flames entered the room.

From it End stepped, the flames receded from his flesh and clothes and the fire died back down. Returning to its usual crackle and pop. The young man adorned his usual 'proper' attire. An open black overcoat, white undershirt, black denim cargo pants and glossless black shoes.

Paying no attention to anyone, or the surroundings he walked straight towards the bar. Not even glancing towards, offering apology for, of even acknowledging her existence as his shoulder glanced off Rose's, passing by the woman he made his way to the bar, and ordered from the electronic tender. Still not even acknowledging any other life form in his area.

End growled as he was shoved in the back. He turns around, without warning and lunges straight at Rose. As he did so these... shadows of men began coming from the center of his back. Arcing over in an orb of darkness around both him, and the woman. This dark light blocked out any and all energies that would pierce into, or out of it.

As what sounded like a ghostly echoing roar filled the room, the flames of the fireplace would jump out once again as well, the flames, and shadows, completely engulfing End. and Rose. Unless the woman had evaded this close quarters 'suicide act', which by ends calculations was impossible, unless she could ghost through the floor. Rose would have few moments to react before both would disappear through this 'portal' of fire and darkness, and into the abyss.

From the ceiling near the fireplace a small black spider began to descend, as it did its web became like a black cloth. The spider slowly changing form til a bat hung upside down, grasping the cloth in its claws. It opened its wings, as it did so the wings seemed to stretch towards the floor, growing ever longer and longer.

Once the wingtips reached the floor the began to thicken. The cloth was no longer attached to the roof. Actually it was falling as if being pulled upwards, only down towards the 'bats' ever expanding body. The cloth split and maneuvered to each side.

Within a matter of moments the ominous patron 'End' would be standing in front of the fireplace. In his right hand a blood colored drink. His left hand tucked into the pocket of his denim cargo pants. Crimson eyes glaring intently into the flames.

End stood at the fire in silence, next to Simon. Lifting his drink he took a sip out of the thick, dark liquid. His eyes remained on the fire as well. He would never look towards the boy, nor would most know where his words where to come from, "Your fear stinks boy." His voice wasn't sinister, it didn't sound evil. But it was dark, ominous... foreboding.

Darker than blood eyes continued to watch the fire consume its prey, its destructive force eating away at the wood beneath the charred surface like acid burning its way through flesh. Fire was beautiful to End.

End smiles silently, he often smiled when looking directly into destructive forces, such as fire. He swirled his drink in his hand, it was amazing how two complete opposite individuals could stand side by side. Enjoying a fire no less, and there be no conflict. End bent down slowly, grabbing another log from the nearby wood carrier he tossed it into the fire. Causing it to blaze brightly, pop and crackle with excitement as it devoured its new source of food. A fresh piece of lumber.

End took a deep drink of his glass, it appeared it was almost empty. Though as he leveled the average sized drinking glass it appeared it was almost full to the brim. The deep crimson that was his eyes emanated a rustic black glow for a moment before it faded. Though nothing happened it was a strange event indeed.

End holds one hand out. From his hand a black mist suddenly rose. As it did what appeared to be a silver Ruger .45 manifested in his grasp. He aimed it towards the ceiling. And fired once. Just to prove a point. As he lowered his grasp the gun vanished back into the dark mist and returned to his body. He took another sip of his blood red concoction and closed his eyes with a chuckle.

As the energy shot reached End. What seemed like a distortion took place. A bubble sort of as a portion of his body became engulfed that strange dark mist. He just chuckled, narrowing his eyes towards the cyborg. Though he spoke no words, he sized the creation up. Taking note of all of its weaponry. He shrugged and waved his hand towards the cyborg in a more or less 'go-fuck-yourself' fashion and stepped towards the fire.

As his foot hit the fire the flames seemed to instantly engulf his entire body. Drawing his form into the fireplace through the natural draft of a wood burning construct. And he was gone.. back into the abyss that was his home. I wonder how Rose is faring in there...

Armagius would hear nothing. But feel the ominous presence suddenly next to him. End lifted a glass of what smelled like human blood, to the angelic figure, to his lips. Drinking deeply of it before lowering his glass, as he did. Nothing had vanished from it at all, the glass was still full to the brim.

"You are one worthy of few words from me. But worthy more than these creatures." The dark figure spoke in his normal, domineering fashion. The weapon turned his darker than blood eyes towards Armagius, "Your purity shines. What of the other side?"

As he spoke the angel would be able to sense the darkness of this man. He was not real, nor was he surreal or nonexistent. End certainly did exist, but End was... everything. For everything had an End.

End laughs softly at the angels words. The laughter sounded.... dark. Foreboding. He looked away from the angel with a small smile, "But to act on your own words would be a sin in its own doing. For it would be to walk against His will." The weapon known as End raised his glass once more. Taking another sip, his attentions remained on the angel. But his eyes remained on the bar, and on Rose, "She made it back from the abyss... impressive."

End stands, moving very close to rose, his face VERY near to hers, "Did you like the abyss lovely? Perhaps I shall show you the end once more. Your fabled words speak hallowed truths when you've beset your own sights upon treachery and sin. Speak not of hypocrisy and beset your own words within your mind." His crimson gaze narrowed towards her, "You are unworthy to speak the words of His name, and unworthy to recite his passages. Unless thy follows the word thyself."

End smiled and raised an eyebrow, "I know your kind. And I cant say I disagree with your ways. I find destruction.. appealing. I was only stating." He growled, his face moving closer to hers. "Speak not the words unless you follow the path." His crimson gaze began to glow softly. There was no rise in power. Nothing happened from this glow in his eyes. It just happened.. especially when End was watching someone's fate.

"Your time in the abyss was not 'your' end. But your end will come. And you know it to be true." He hissed, in her mind was a flash of her Seraphic past. End had been digging, "Ahh.. I see. So you've already met your end. Serenade brought it about rather swiftly didn't she." His eyes narrowed further as he smiled.

End just shrugged, "Once you understand that as nothing, you are everything. For in the end, everything is nothing. You will realize very quickly how fast you can come to not exist. Fallen Angel." He glared towards her, "Perhaps Serenade should have finished the job." He waved her off, turning from her he headed towards the entrance of the bar. Like he needed to use a door... right?

The Room darkened, only lasting as long as it would take one to blink. End would be standing at the front door of the bar. In his usual suit, open dress shirt with no tie and denim black cargo pants. In his left hand his usual dark glass. The darkness would return once more. This time End would be standing in front of the fire place.

He lifted his glass and took a sip from it. This sip turned into a long, deep drink of the dark, blood scented liquid. As he lowered the glass, rather than being empty, it would remain full to the brim. He leaned forwards, grabbing a log to toss on the fire. As it hit the coals and sparks flew out, the darkness would come once more. This time End would be sitting next to Strahga, "All things come to an end sir..."

End laughed quietly, crimson gaze wouldn't make it's way towards the man with the scythe. Eyes would remain straight forward as he lifted his drink and took another sip. "Aye, many things stay around for a very very long time. Everything has its end. Except time." As he spoke the final word his simple voice seemed to resonate. He really wasn't concerned about who he reminded this man of. He very rarely was concerned with the thoughts of other creatures. If only to influence them of course.

End had a very ominous aura around him. But it didn't seem malicious. There was no violence about his character at all, while his presence was dark, treacherous, and seemed even... dangerous, this man seemed to simply... how to put it. Not exist.

End smiles, "Very good. But the perception of time was my meaning. What living beings see as a line in which everything has a path or comes to an end. This is time, and this is the only thing that will never stop." He now turned his crimson gaze towards Strahga, "Not even after everything, is nothing. And I cease to exist, will this perception of... time cease..." He growled. The thought actually seemed to seriously irritate End. Something that didn't cease... Something he was not. Time.

End seemed to become very interested in what this man had to say all of the sudden. After all, he was his namesake. He didn't truly exist because he was the end, but he was everything with an end. And a way to make time end... that is all he lacked, "Tell me more..." It didn't really sound like a request. However End lacked the means of backing up any sort of threat, short of transporting a person to that abyss that was him. Nothingness, in the seventh level of hell. "How would one.. cease a being as they cease time."

End ignored the zombies, and stood. He reached into his shirt and produced a rather large golden coin with odd symbols and markings on it. It radiated with a devious aura, "I thank you for your words. Your kind usually accepts payment, so accept this." He slid the coin towards him and turned without another word. Heading towards the door. End had work to do....
