Fausto Lavoie's Story

The door to the diner opened slowly, the hinges creaking a little. A man, who looked not old, not young but in the middle looked inside. He was wearing a red bandana on his head, and a curious look on his face. He then pushed his way in, and looked around a gain, taking in a deep breath as he smelled the food being made in the kitchen in the back, letting out a sigh of relief and contentedness. He then made his way to the front of the diner, sitting on a stool, and requesting a menu. One he had gotten one he would then browse through the choices of what to eat, or drink. He decided on something small, an order of flapjacks, and some water, as he was hungry.

"Smells amazing in here, haven't smelled something like this since that one place in Egypt, the......what was it again, The Cyclops Camel, or something along those lines, yeah, they had great food too...." he said with a warm smile remembering that place, as if it was his home.

The man's eyes went over quickly to the woman as she entered the bar, and he took in her scent. He smiled as he thought her scent was quite nice, the odd thing was that he didn't know how he had such good senses, it was unnatural, but usually ignored it. He then nodded his head, and chuckled. His eyes then went to her figure as he looked it over, and he smiled even wider. She was quite a lovely looking girl, and with a scent of an angel.

"I wouldn't know sadly, as it's my first time here or in this continent at all! I am traveling, you know? seeing the sights, and meeting the people, but don't tell anyone, I don't want to be labeled as a tourist, I am not some fat person taking pictures" he said with a grin.

"I don't intend to stay long though, since I hear some things about the city that I would rather not experience, such as being robbed, bitten, attacked, murdered, and all of that good stuff, you know, just that kind of stuff is weird. The funny thing is......when I experience those things I black out...." he said with a confused tone and shrugged. "But then I wake up and I am perfectly fine, so I guess there is an upside to things, am I right?" he asked with a smile on his face.

"Well thank you, that's quite nice of you to say, you are also very pretty looking and you smell kind of good too, in a non creepy, eating you kind of a way, because I bet you know there are weird creatures around this place...." he rambled on.

The lad raised a brow as the woman mulled over her choice of words to say and then chuckled, "Stimulating eh? Like a hobby, or something along the lines of an obsession maybe hmm?" he asked curiously, smirking as he insinuated something more dark than what she had said before. He then shuddered a little, and swayed a little, "Wow" he said clutching his head, and he shook it. He then looked at the woman again and weakly grinned, "Sorry, that happens, even worse sometimes, like really really bad" he said with a sigh and then shrugged.

"I bet you do get that a lot, as you said, because everyone likes a pretty lady in this world, and most likely every man who likes women, and the ones who like men like handsome men, you know the whole order of things, blah blah" he said and started eating more of his pancakes.

"I'm Fausto by the way" he said, with his mouth full, but how it was, was just so damn hilarious.
