The teeming wild, on a continent snaking with rivers, at the bank of one river which came to settle a giant Apatosaurus. It had just set out for the day, deciding on a drink by the beautiful bank. Large plants thrived; there was much shade. Folios was cautious as he approached the waters, for there were always things lurking in the grasses and shallows.

Waiting in the bushes nearby was an adult male allosaurus, it was quite hungry and has waited near the watering hole for hours. It however was still cautious of the gigantic Apatosaurus that came to drink.

He saw the Apatosaurus was alert and tried to stay low in the bushes, biding its time and not wanting to risk any injury. His surprisingly developed limbs were tipped with sharp claws to allow him to manipulate food and his teeth were razor edged for slicing meat off prey.

Not generally hostile in nature, the Apatosaurus had a long way to go on his journey. He noticed the river was teeming with silver fish. They had teeth, but didn't seem bothered by Folios. Good.

He rotated a little to face where the eyes seemed to be coming from and took a slow drink.

Folios whipped his tail around at a slight attempt at a counter on a dodge, narrowly avoiding the teeth and dancing out of the way. He almost fell into the river - which would have been bad - but instead stumbled into a bush. Just then, the day was momentarily eclipsed as something strange appeared in the skies above.

"Don't worry about them right now the Zoological team will deal with such things. Complete your pass and find a place for us to set up base camp." ordered the Captain of The Flamebringer.

With that the Death Gliders flew off south towards a nearby lake.

The shore of the lake was a buzz of action as transports landed unloading supplies and personal. The camp was mainly a scientific one with greenhouses, holding pins, and labs being set up. But of course the Mauhasinian Military was here in force as well, their black armor clearly marking them out from the science teams and Druids.

The Druids made up a good number of the team. In fact the leader of this venture was a Druid herself. Irirani Syliala was her name and she was busy give orders to her crew

As the Science teams set up the camp the Military was busy setting up fences, Towers, and Light shielding to protect the camp from anything hostile.

High above the camp the Firespark Flamebringer and her Death Gliders watched the skies.

Irirani was busy getting the main greenhouse powered up when a Mauhasinan troop commander entered. Her voice was almost robotic sounding though her helmet as she spoke "Ma'am we have detected movement nearby shall I send a squad to check it out?"

Irirani turned to another druid in the room. "Silrila if you would be a dear and go with the commander and her squad."

Silrila gave a salute and gathered her gear.

"Remember stun blasts only if you get into trouble we are here to study this planet not destroy it..." Irirani commanded.

"As you order Ma'am"

Soon a squad of six troopers and a druid made thier way out of the camp and towards the nearby forest.
