Debreifing OIC: Operator In Charge Jaxon Brennan
United States FBI: Special Agent Cruz

Jazz, Our newest asset's debrief on the recently blown attempt on the 'Jackpot'

R/ Thompson

S.A. Cruz: Right this way Captain...Please have a seat. *Papers shuffling.*
[Agent's note: OIC stands around 6'0" in height . Since joining the Overseas Development Group, he's put on a few pounds of muscle. An accurate guess would say he's between 190-195lbs.]
Jaxon: Are we doin' this again Cruzzy? [OIC reaches over and taps the recorder] Jaxon Ashely Brennan. Captain and leading Operator of SSI9.
[A muffled whisper of a third party] Oh, I mean Overseas Development Group. And uh...25 years...old.

S.A.C.: So how are things on the home front, Captain?
Jaxon: Eh heh...I don't much have a home front anymore. Thanks to you guys. I had to send my poor pup back home with my parents. I had a lady friend of sorts, but I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm floating face down in the ocean somewhere. [The OIC laughs]

S.A.C.: And as usual, Captain, your specialty areas.
Jaxon: ..You guys hired me for 'em...Shouldn't you know 'em already?
S.A.C.: For the record please.
Jaxon: I'm pretty good with a Cheytac. Qualified Expert shooter with Rifles and Small arms. I also won Captain's Cup in pull-ups. [Another chuckle. OIC trying to get a laugh out of the security]

S.A.C.: Alright Captain, the Crashdived Operation in Bahrain.
Jaxon: Hey, I brought you a key chain...Remind me to get that for you. And while we're at it, Agent Cruz. Are you sing- [More muffled whispers] On subject. Right.
S.A.C.: Bahrain please, Captain Brennan
Jaxon: Roger that...An' let me start off by saying I take full responsibility for what happened and support the actions of my squad-mates while we were over there. But yes, let's begin...

Jaxon pushed open the door of Gambit's, rolling a toothpick along his bottom lip as he took in the sights of this place. Seemed like a normal enough bar...seemed that way. The man wore nothing out of the ordinary for seemingly human guy, an indigo pair of blue jeans, a tshirt that was actually kind of snug, and a flashy pair of sneakers. Only thing different was the X holster holding his Hardballer against the left side of his ribcage. With a sigh, the young man made his way through the small crowd, hands sliding into his pockets.

Jaxon eventually came to lean up against the bar, his elbows resting on the counter as he eyed the selections that lined the shelves. He then looked back and forth for the tender, who seemed to be Sidoh, "Hey, can a get a bottle of Singha, please" he said, removing his toothpick from his mouth

Jaxon watched for a moment as two children ran about to place before taking cover behind another patron. The sniper laughed, taking his beer in hand, "Thank ya" he said to Sidoh as he stood up straight, extending his arms to stretch a little. "What to do...." he muttered to himself, resting his back against the edge of the counter as he examined the rest of the place...seemed pretty empty tonight.

Jaxon brought his beer up to his lips as the woman, Jennifer, sat to his left. He gave her a casual look over as he took a sip of his drink. "Good Evenin'" he said, his accent akin to someone from the southern US. He lowered his drink as he returned his gaze to the rest of the place, plopping down on his stool

Jaxon shook his head as he took another sip of his beer, "Nah, it's my first time," he said with a smile, setting his now half empty bottle on the counter top. "But I heard this place was usually good for a fight or two, interesting characters, and at the very least a drink....Must've come on a slow night" He scratched the back of his head, "Oh, My names Jaxon by the way...Jaxon Brennan" he offered the lady a hand

Jaxon nodded as he shook her hand, raising a brow as he himself realized how cold her fingertips were, but he kept his mouth shut about it. "Ah, please...Mr. Brennan was my father," he said, taking up his drink again, kind of eying her fingers without realizing it. "Hey uh...if ya don't mind me askin'. What's the deal with those?" he asked, despite his urge to remain polite, his curiosity just got the better of him this time.

Jaxon would nod, "Ah yes, please call me Jaxon" he said, finished off his Singha and sliding the empty bottle a ways down the counter. "Nanofabricators, huh?" He would rub his scruffy chin for a moment, "So...exactly what do they do?" he asked, lost on pretty much anything more advanced than what he seen back in Ops, nanomachines being one of those topics.

Jaxon raised a brow as the machines flew from her fingertips, chuckling as they assembled the key, "Now something like this is what I was expecting when I came here," he said, watching as the key was disassembled. He could think of a thousand uses for those machines in the field, or on the job in his case. "That's awesome," he said, almost prepared to empty his own bank account for some of those, "Makes me wish I had somethin' as equally impressive as those are." he said with a shrug.

Jaxon rubbed the back of his neck as he chuckled lightly, "Well...stories, yeah I got stories...good stories? Hmmmm..." the kid shrugged his shoulders as he thought back, mostly into his time in service, "Most of my stories probably involve hours of me looking down a scope, cracking jokes with my spotter..." he said, "However, one time I did manage to bring down a chopper, prolly my crowning achievement" he added with a light laugh

Jaxon nodded, "Yeah, military. Though my branch of service wasn't exactly known to the public if ya catch my drift." he pondered another drink as she asked her question. "Ah, shot...Yes I have, once through the trap," he said pointing to his right trapezius, "Went straight through...luckily for me. And thankfully that was the first and last time I was ever caught. Taught me a lesson."

Jaxon rest his elbows on the counter, leaning forward a bit, "Yeah, it burned like all hell," he said, rather casually, "Think I might have cried a bit too, happened back when I was 18," he added with a chuckle, his mood quickly becoming a bit more somber when she came to ask her next question, "No ma'am, received my discharge last year and didn't bother to sign up for another tour..." he said, trailing off a bit.

Jaxon rubbed the back of his head, as he chuckled, an attempt to cheer himself up really, "Yeah, my discharge and the events surrounding it are kind of a touchy subject with me at the moment...Haven't really talked about it since I seen that cheap therapist they provided us with afterward," he glanced at the woman, "But hey, don't worry 'bout it, I didn't mean to bring the mood down any."

Jaxon shrugged his shoulders, "Yeah, I guess you're right. But with as many supernatural things running about this place sometimes...I'm not so sure," he said laughing. "These days, my occupation is whatever pays the most....I've done everything from spying on people to taking out a few...less desirable individuals. Most of the time I get stuck with boring armed security jobs...How about you?"

Jaxon laughed, "Hah, Imma make sure to give ya a sign if I'm watchin" he says stretching his arms out with a light groan. "Not all that interestin'. Coulda fooled me with those fancy robots you have there," he pointed to her fingers, "We could partner up if you can make yourself useful" he offered with a shrug of his shoulders

Jaxon smirked as he rose from his stool, feeling his phone start to vibrate in his pocket, "Good, I could always use an extra pair of eyes." offering Jennifer another handshake, "Haha, I'm sure I'll see you around again," he said with a wink, "Might even have some work for us next time, so you can get your feet wet."

Jaxon nodded, "Catch ya later," he said, then fishing a bit of money out of his pocket and leaving it on the bar counter for any tender who happened to wander by. His hand sank back into his pocket as he wandered over to the steps that led toward the upper floors of Gambit's, retrieving his phone and lightly touching the screen to answer it, "This is Brennan," he would mutter as he made his way upstairs...

Jaxon rubbed the back of his neck as he sauntered his way into Gambit's for the first time in what seemed like forever. His hands slid into the pockets of his grey jeans as he stood in the threshold for a moment...recognizing absolutely no one. He took a breath for a second before proceeding though the thin crowd, the floor creaking lightly beneath his black Chuck Taylor's, and as always his trusty Hard Baller clinging to his left rib-cage with the aid of an X holster that crossed his back. "I guess a Singha, is in order for a lucky return" he mutter to himself, weaving toward the bar.

Jaxon the young sniper took the offered card between his index and middle finger, not bothering to address the woman who just handed it to him as he settled onto an empty stool. "What's all this then?" he said before reading the card silently. Then with a gentle shrug he slid the card into the pocket of his button up shirt, no wanting to be rude and disposing of it outright. "Hey tender, how about a bottle of Singha?" he said to the working person behind the counter, drumming his fingers

Jaxon placed his payment on the counter as the tender slid his drink down his way, the kid catching it with an open hand and smiling. He would twist open the drink as he heard Sias' words, "Nice to know," he muttered before taking a swig, definitely not the thing for him though. He spun his stool to face the rest of the establishment, stretching out his arms a bit as he yawned. How long has it been, a month...maybe two, enough time to fill this place with unfamiliar faces-his thoughts end abruptly as his gaze meets with Eleniel, raising both brows as he offered the lady a smile

Jaxon chuckled as he slipped a hand into his shirt pocket once more, placing the card on the counter and sliding it a little ways down toward Sias, dunno how she managed to gauge his disinterest, but that was one less card for his wallet, "Hey no offense madam..." he said through a smile, his voice kind of trailing off as Faelwen made her approach. He took a sip of his Singha as he looked the woman over rather quickly, "Why certainly," he said with a nod, patting the stool next to him.

Jaxon was smiling, almost ear to ear, a usual habit for him when it came to introductions, "I'm Jaxon...Jaxon Brennan," he said, setting down his beer and wiping the condensation on the leg of his jeans before offering it to Faelwen for a shake. "And you are...?"

Jaxon gave her hand a gentle shake before letting go, resting his elbows on the bar counter behind him. "Faelwen," he repeated to himself, for memory's sake, "It's nice to meet you too." He corrected his posture a bit as he surveyed the bar once more before looking back to her, "So what do you do, Faelwen?...If you dont mind me asking that is."

Jaxon studied her face for a moment as she spoke, his eyes dancing over the freckles that peppered her face, but weren't at all overpowering...cute, added a sort of appeal to her. "Eh," he rubbed the back of his head noticing the frown, apparently a bit of a touchy subject, "Lemme rephrase that...what do you like to do around here?"

Jaxon slowly lifted both of his hands, to show he meant no harm, his smile still there. "Oi now," he said eying the pistol on her thigh...or was he eying her thigh? Either way, he had no intention of starting a shootout. "I'm not gonna try to take ya anywhere," he said, his eyes shifting back up to hers. "But I never would've guessed a lady like you to be an army brat....I'm one myself" he added, lowering his hands back to the bar counter

Jaxon smirked as his hand found his beer again, the bottle half empty, "Indeed I am," he said, taking a swig, "Special Warfare Command, 5th Brigade, Panther company...Good times" he added, finishing up the rest of his Singha and placing the empty bottle on the counter, "Best shooter in the Command if you ask me."
