Kiyoko Hiyama had kept her eyes along the tremors in her knuckles, the uncontrolled quake that had been silenced in local press. Rumors had been circulated by her own design to suggest arthritis, a cover up with the helpful disguise of age. She knew what it really was, and regret made her stare out the bullet proof tinted car window.

Her old eyes traced each passing car, each passing street and building, old bitter memories returned like distant friends. So much had changed, it was times like this she missed Ichiro Sato Hayashi dearly. Her eyes eventually traced a building she had not seen in years before she turned over to the driver. "(Please stop here.)" She requested in an orient dialect.

The driver who was a woman in a formal pants suit slowly applied her shoe to the breaks "(Oh course Madame Sectary.)" She complied. The Shiny Black Cadillac bearing diplomatic plates stopped at the front of Gambit's Bar and the mature politician slowly peeked out the tinted window once more.

A rather short man who seemed rather senior to the other two of Kiyoko's bodyguards seem to be the first to arrive out of the car, glancing around before he almost hugged the door in opening it. Kiyoko arrived out rather elegantly as a second guard bearing a strange set of Asian tattoos across his face followed suit. Both were formally dressed like the presidential servicemen they were and slowly the old woman walked inside.

It was almost empty, she stood at the doorway for a while just panning about with her eyes. They fell to the decrepit figure within the robe and hood, but she paid no mind somewhat walking over to a nearby table to calmly sit down. Her eyes observed her trembling hand again and with a soft and simple motion she moved her hand underneath the table from view.

”(Are you sure you want to stop here Madame Secretary?) Benjie the oldest of the three bodyguards had requested diligently. It was a rather intriguing case to Kiyoko: these men and women would very astute in calling Kiyoko ‘Madame Secretary’ but not Kim Guimatao ‘President’ rather ‘General’. Perhaps it was failing of habit, after all these men were almost all under the President’s command during his career as a Military Commander. “(This entire place is filled with derelicts; I do not want to simply wait for an incident to break out.)” He advised to the woman he was protecting.

Kiyoko grinned, she expected this kind of response and could not hold Benjie for being cautious, that was his duty. “(Your words and concerns are duly noted Lieutenant.)” She heeded in the same dialect all three of them were using “(But my position on this matter stands, rest assure if something does occur we will be the first to leave before it happens.)” and with that said she raised a now trembling finger of her other hand over to order some coffee.

Her eyes panned over to the patronage, studious eyes studying the many that made this place. Cryptic cynicism fell on one corner, studious diligence another, lost oblivious thought another and a sight that made the old woman ponder: the same kind of faces she saw in those ugly places back home. She stood there for a moment waiting for her coffee. Talking left her for a while as her hand moved back under the table to softly rubbing the still quaking hand.

Kiyoko Hiyama glanced up calmly and curiously towards Sierra Eleven whom seemed more silent, calm and rather approachable than many others in this place. Her coffee came, a rather steaming hot brew that almost burned her tongue when she first graced it. The last time she had coffee here was many years ago, a much simpler time as a student. She forgot the trick she used to prevent the sting of the drink sip. It had been a very long time indeed.

Calmly she raised her form slightly more prim and proper, the woman was rather unassuming between and compared to the two servicemen. “Good Afternoon.” She greeted politely in English offering a very calm smile across her aged face. She spoke English rather fluently, her father had made sure of it.[/i]

At the same time Kiyoko Hiyama was considering and pondering small things; Benjie had altered his attention to the pair of Brian Derossi and Gina Tedrick. The senior agent somewhat narrowed his eyes, the short old man nudging his attention to the man with the face tattoos as they took a gander at the situation beginning to take notes of the surrounding exits.

Kiyoko Hiyama met eyes with the woman before her. The Party Secretary didn’t rise through the ranks of liars, schemers and other double talkers without gaining a certain understanding of body language. The woman’s smile was somewhat forced on her face, but then again that could be for numerous reasons perhaps she was simply having a bad day and wanted to keep civil.

They were times that Kiyoko considered what her life would have been outside of politics? She might have not over thought things and yet then again analysis was always a core part of her work and character. The older woman spoke with accent that she could not disguise though her words in English were fluid enough for a personal understanding.

“My name is Kiyoko, it is very nice to meet you.” She greeted in a very friendly manner. There was not internal pressures at the moment, nothing that needed to be gained, a simple conversation seemed somewhat inviting and refreshing. With her words she took another drink of the coffee placing it back down “We’ll let that cool for a moment.” She proposed.

Kiyoko Hiyama returned to the somber drink of coffee. The old woman felt somewhat relaxed as she distinctively realized the tasteless drink had become slightly cooler to the touch, not feeling a burning sensation when she held it in her hand. The hand beneath the table continued to uncontrollably quake some more, she would have to see her doctor after this.

On occasion flashes blurred her distinctive thoughts, a small headache rested on her forehead as she calmly massaged it with her manicured fingers. She needed a distraction at the moment and lifting her eyes she couldn’t help but rest them along Bug. She saw her pop a pill from a black baggie of hers’ and could only assume the worse.

“Good Afternoon.” She decided to greet to her.

Benjie the more senior of the two men sworn to protect the secretary lifted his eyes away from his surroundings to trace the newcomings of ’Ike’ Kontio. It was nothing especially alarming to the old short ex-military: Simply a new face in the growing scene. The man with the face tattoos who kept his eyes about noted Pluto Milas, applying his fingers along his ear piece as he was absorbing all the police frequency.

The third member of the security team: the woman in the pantsuit was having a somber smoke outside, glancing around the main entrance as her firearm rested on the dashboard of the bullet proof diplomatic plate Cadillac.

Kiyoko Hiyama remained somewhat hesitant as she starred out the window again, the medication had kicked in close to an hour ago. The press would cover it as a heat stroke, over exposure from the sun's ray though Kiyoko knew much better than that. A soft frown was along an old face staring outside the bullet proof tinted window of the Cadillac with diplomatic plates. Slowly it stopped where she wanted to it stop: the local war memorials that dwelled in the city's plaza.

The car had drove into a gated area, a few cars were parked mostly groundskeeping or those like herself: Mourners of the dead. "(We are here Madame Secretary.)" The woman at the driver's seat instructed somewhat casting a glance to the larger man next to her with the face tattoos.

Kiyoko nodded her head silently and respectfully before she looked to the bodyguard that sat with her, a much shorter and older man offering her a bundle of flowers and lilies they picked up at a local flower shop. "(Keep the engine running... I will not be long.)" She informed the two in the front as she motioned for the outside the senior agent following.

Such a waste of human life, Manjuin lives during the Taiyou occupations a year prior. She looked up to the darkening skies, it would rain soon which she felt was appropaite as the mature woman waited for her escort to arrive out taking an umbrella for her as the suited serviceman extended the umbrella out and moved to cover the politician. "(Thank you Lieutenant.)" She graced him rather formally as they made they way into the graveyard.[/i]

Kiyoko Hiyama stared out into the somewhat serene grounds, several dozen memorials and graves well maintained. In the barren tranquility she closed her eyes grief passing like a shadowing cloud. The moment was broken with a voice, a call of hello. Benjie the old short man in the suit was very admimant to be a step in front of the Secretary.

The two others in the car shifted their attention over as the man with the Asian Tattoos along his face held his fingers to his ear piece as though receiving a transmission.

Kiyoko was the only one to remain calm but also stern, her eyes assessing the girl before her. "Hello." She beckoned back in fluent English, she carried an accent in her words but spoke the words clearly enough for even the most ignorant to understand. She worked with alot of people, many whom might be considered very devious and unrespectable. When such happened she made it her business to study absolutely every aspect of whom and what she was working for.

"I assume you are to be my extra security detail?" She inquired. She recongized the face with the file.

Kiyoko Hiyama nodded her head in response. Jade Fire was honest and that was something the high end official could respect. "I am Kiyoko Hiyama." She introduced with a certain grace about herself "It is an honor to make your aquantice. As for my associate, Lieutenant Benjie is the senior ranking member of my security detail, he has been on several numerous positions involving security and intelligence for a career spanning over to 35 distinguished years. I will not hold any ill will for speaking your mind but you will be taking orders from him." She established with diligent reason, logic and personal strength.

Her eyes turned back to Benjie whom was rather quiet as she spoke in the same oriental tongue "(She is a high end associate of an aspiring ally of the Party... I will expect you will treat her with that level of respect.)" She forewarned the old man bowing "(Yes Madame Secretary.)" He granted.

The old short slightly pudgy man returned his attention back to Jade "The Madame Secretary is about visit a personal spot of national mourning." He explained to her "If you work well at point, then you will walk beside her, I will follow the two of you from behind." The other two were at the car somewhat recieving the orders to stand down for now.

"I didn't ask them to, I prefer less people around for this excursion." Kiyoko replied. If Jade Fire was anyone else or worked for anyone else, she might have been waiting at the car to. She respected these matter of arrangements, and thus it would be greavious to insult the agreement in this etiquette.

Benjie remained attentive silently pacing the pair behind him as he spoke "There is another team at the very end of the memorial overviewing the wall, those here will be monitoring the only conventional entranceway in." The old man explained subtely to Jade Fire.

The old woman held the flowers in her arms as she paced the silent graveyard somewhat speaking as she walked "Ms. Fire, if you do not mind me saying so; when I read your file I was rather surprised how you are in the field of work your associates have trained you in." She propose dilgiently

Kiyoko Hiyama listened very astutely as they journeyed further inward. The matured politician offered her own insight listening to the woes of the trained assassin. The old man followed suit the umbrella covering the pair in front of him as he popped the color of his own dark trench coat.

"Very well Jade" She answered first, that was very fair enough in her opinion. "Have you ever considered that these jobs might be subtle offensives? Charging you in a position to assassinate a agent of a rival association that has targeted the detail your protecting?" She inquired, not forcing her to accept her opinion but asking her to consider that logic.

Kiyoko Hiyama walked on as well, a casual arm went to her other softly rubbing it for a moment before she returned her arms back across the flowers. Her arms unease her again, but the official refused to have it distract her as the trio arrived to their destination. It was a wall of fine shale rock, engraved along it were many, many names most with ranking in front of them. It was all written in Manjuin scripture, oriental letters.

"Those who dwell in the field that your employer works in can find great use for those personal traits." The old woman advised. She stopped looking at the wall, walking along side it as if to search for something. "Do not assume that because those above you pretend not to notice it, that are unaware of what is going on. Heeding this advise may save your life one day." She advised.

Kiyoko Hiyama listened some more before she paused, there was a cold face to the woman as she continued to scan the wall. Eventually she found it and there was very much a long pause slowly kneeling along the wall. They were many flowers along the wall, many pictures, rocks formed to make small statues of Buddha, holy symbols and even a few letters.

Benjie was also attentive and silent as the woman kneeled before this spot in the memorial and placed the flowers downward reaching into her person to pull out a small wooden box.

Kiyoko Hiyama had been patiently waiting inside a rather unassuming car with diplomatic plates. Her arm had stopped acting up for a while now, the woman looked to it again slowly rubbing it for a moment before etiquette told her to stop. Word of a shoot out had erupted all across law enforcement channels and the foreign official had chose to wait it out til the bar was once again still.

The driver a woman in a formal pantsuit kept her eyes somewhat open as her hands slowly tapped gently along the wheels, the two sitting beside her which consisted of a man with strange tattoos along his face and a much older, shorter and fatter man with a mustache wearing a similar uniform of the driver's clothes were keeping to the Madame Secretary's side.

The oldest of the three serviceman placed his fingers along his earpiece and paused "(It is safe to enter Madame Secretary.)" He answered before he motioned outside the car. He hugged the open entrance for a moment keeping his eyes peeled before Kiyoko Hiyama followed out in an elegant fashion. The third was the man with face tattoos somewhat closing the door as he nodded to the tinted windows where the last of the small security detail nodded her head and remained attentive as she switched on the radio.

The three made their way slowly across the street as the bold woman stepped inside to take a gander at a very old but very familiar setting. It certainly brought her back still as the short visitor paced over to a table with her two bodyguards simply following her diligently. She took her time sitting down, very calm and very composed about herself glancing across the few that were occupying the barspace. Simply she accessed the holomenu and began to browse for her order.

The Man with the Face Tattoos which was the largest and meanest of the three sitting kept his wits about him, his eyes scanning about the premise. The much older man was plugged in, talking over his earpiece about security matters in the oriental dialect that all three seemed to be very fluent in. Kiyoko herself, she seemed to open up a briefcase the younger and larger associate had been carrying and pulled out a book.

Her order was simple enough: Coffee, a rather black one for her somber tastes. She did notice the man preparing the cup offering a rather simple but graceful smile herself as she nodded her head. "Hello young man." She greeted the stranger in a polite fashion. Her words were fluent enough to understand though she did had an accent.

The largest of the three merely shook his head for a moment, the brute of a man returning his attention as the much older man spoke in a much heavier accent. "Some herbal tea." the older man requested. Normally he would desire to purchase something alcoholic as this was a bar but the security expert needed to be alert during duty.

"I believe my associates have made what they want clear." She observed. A polite gentleman in a less rough time at the bar, a rather nice way to unwind for now as she place her book down. She was about to speak some more before an attacking force attempted to lunge at her, in response the pair of professionals attempted to tackle the attacker to the floor and try to pin the would be mugger to the floor. A perk for having bodyguards.

And with that, Kiyoko Hiyama's peaceful moment to unwind was greatly ruined. The pair of security personell did not pursue but were already having the Madame Secretary rise to her feet. "(There has been an assault on the Madame Secretary! We need to vacate the premise now!)" The older man was leading her as she walked away, not even enough time to pay for the coffee. "Please bill the orders to the Manjuin Embassy." She explained as she left a card on the table. "Add tip." She requested as the man with the Face Tattoos was following her the three were quick to leave the scene.

The shockwave knocked all three people off their feet. Erupting the barscene slightly as the woman that had been driving stopped for a moment seeing the violence and hearing what was occurring on her ear piece. The large man rolled on his back as he saw Frazzac Fuzzen lunge on top of him. The larger professional could only have enough time to shift the blade away from his chest feeling a horrible stabbing in his shoulder as he gritted his teeth. The woman moved into the doors observing her co-worker getting stabs as the other two were slowly getting up.

"(Madame Secretary! Get down!)" She cried out in her foreign dialect. She aimed her pistol right at the assailant as his back was facing him releasing four shots. The man was hostile, there was no means for negotiation now.

The female bodyguard rushed to her partner's side moving to carrying him by the shoulder as the four actually moved to simply leaved the sword wielding possibly dead mad man for the bar staff to clean up.

Kiyoko Hiyama observed the massive building outside the small diplomatically plated car that arrived in the front. This was the Madame Secretary’s first day back in the back of her mind she grievously dreaded that moment of utter weakness. She had been on the verge relapse, such a lazy and weak word and the toxin which would had made her arm dead had caused great complications. The local press had covered it as a “heart complication” which made her reserve from public life for a great while but now she had returned. She inspected the building sternly as the old short brown man and faithful serviceman Benjie came to her side speaking in their native tongue. “(They are expecting you inside Madame Secretary.)”

She sneered to herself, businessmen. She had lived being surrounded by all kinds of men of business both legal and illegal. Dressed in a khaki pant suit wearing the official emblem of her country on side of her jacket and of her party on other both in gold, the short woman worked her way up the steps of the building and arrived in. She arrived to the room maybe a small while later, the serviceman behind her as well as a much larger, younger and more muscular brute in the same bodyguard suit, his head was shaved but he had a tattoo on his face that marked him a former member of the seedy underbelly of the nation. The two servicemen remained standing as she approached the table speaking resoundingly.

“Hello Mr. Malachite, I am Kiyoko Hiyama. In the Party I am the second highest official compared to our Party Leader Kim Guimatao. I will be representing my country in this discussion.” She introduced.

”I would rather that we remain on business.” Kiyoko had countered. She spoke in an accent that was rather present, though her English was concise enough to understand. As she took a seat she remained listening to the words of this Chief Executive Officer with great strides. “Unless a significant number of factories that produce the products that will reach my country are located on Terra: I find that conversation to be mute in the grand scheme of this talk. I will add that Manjuin was a Terran nation and that its departure off the surface was for its greater survival and many view Terra as (the Mother) or in a more specific translation ‘the Mother Planet’.” She added. “With that said, may we begin?”

Kiyoko Hiyama offered a simple look of approval, not a smile as men of her culture rarely smiled during a business affair it showed childness. “Going all night is something that you may have to do, our economy is currently booming off the Aschen Cubit and with the lucrative contractors that are lining up to sign with our government I am very curious to ask ‘what separates Mars Corp from the competitor?’” She requested. She seldom drinks during these kinds of conversation with the expectation of water to clean her throat. “As our contacts have spoke to your contacts are government is immensely interested in doing deals with the medical division of your company.”
