Kohrii

The awkward, hypocritical starship navigator who can't resist helping people. She is viewed as vain, loud, and generally annoying, but the woman is the best damned NavPol Altas has to date.

Description

Kohrii, named by her irrational parents after the star system, is a lovely woman in aesthetics. Her weight is one-hundred and thirty-four standards (lbs), while standing at five-feet, seven-inches. The Navigation Pilot always wears her hair in this huge and ridiculous formation of several inter-connecting braids directly settled atop the crown of her head. It could be comparable to some sort of crown, or pompous hat. Her lightly blond colored hair fits in well with her pale, Altan skin, just as the other crew members aboard the large ship, Altas XI (a long-range Dimensional Outer-System Fortress). Unlike Casper, and Monika though, the navigation pilot's jump suit is a deep red; a more powerful color and which signals her rank over the other two. Being part of the ASF (Altan Star Fleet), is the highest honor one can hold. People just wonder how it is that Kohrii got there.

Kohrii suffers from chronic Panic Disorder. A panic attack is a sudden episode of intense fear that develops for no apparent reason and that triggers severe physical reactions. Panic attacks can be very frightening. When panic attacks occur, she sometimes thinks she's losing control, having a heart attack or even dying. There is always that constant and creeping fear in Kohrii, but she does all she can to hide it from everyone. Perhaps even her overbearing, and astounding personality is a cover for what really lurks in the depths of the woman? Her symptoms of having a panic attack usually come on within ten minutes before it strikes. Those include:

•Chest pain or discomfort
•Dizziness or faintness
•Fear of dying
•Fear of losing control
•Feeling of choking
•Feelings of detachment
•Feelings of unreality
•Nausea or upset stomach
•Numbness or tingling
•Palpitations or pounding heart
•Sensation of shortness of breath
•Sweating, chills, or hot flashes
•Trembling or shaking

Personality

Kohrii in short, is an addict to amphetamines. She is unsure of how it started or why, but someone had told her once that they would help with the naturally occurring panic attacks. Such episodes are usually experienced once in someone's lifetime, but since Kohrii became addicted, they happen more than it should. That overwhelming terror and grasping, imprisoning fear chokes the woman and as to cover her fear, she acts out in ways that are quite odd. Kohrii is a very loud, and head-strong personality, always far too happy and insistent on attention from anyone or even everyone in the room, or area.

If not for the addiction to amphetamines, Kohrii would actually be a rather nice person, and pleasant to be around. Even shy, perhaps, but this is not her for the time being. She shall continue on with her need of amphetamines until someone comes along to help her see the fault in needing to take those pills. And if not, then she is set to die even before Monika, if the seizures don't get to her first. Or maybe even the lack of sleep will get to her, it being the cause of most of her hallucinations. Being so mentally unstable now, Kohrii is being held back from her duties as a NavPol, or Navigation Pilot. The ASF (Altan Star Fleet) has noticed her rapid change and Kohrii is no longer allowed even near the NavDeck. She looms around Gambit's Bar most times now in order to pass all her free time.

Equipment

•ComDev
•NavDev
•Purse
•Medications that include: alprazolam and several types of amphetamines.

History

2063, America is no longer a world power yet still struggling to regain what has been lost for fifty years now. China has overtaken the Earth as the new super power; military, economically, and politically. Nuclear weapons are being mass forged in order to maintain this position over the world, while American and European scientists of Specialized Genetics, Metova Corporation are secretly meeting in the wastelands of the freezing Arctic in order to develop a genetically selective biological virus. They are successful after twenty years of mutating and bending the very laws of creation, in order to preserve the pride they all once had as Super Nations. The laboratory is infiltrated however, by Chinese spies, and the virus is incomplete before it is apprehended. To punish European and American states and provinces, the Chinese drop four nuclear weapons in order to maintain their worldly position. Crops die, the sky darkens with ash, people begin to die from radiation poisoning. The world as they knew it then was dying and it seemed as if the end was near, but not because of the nuclear fallout. Four years after the Chinese had taken the EX-5249 virus, uncompleted and still in the testing stages, they attempted to warp it from their own genetics to the other races.

God had become Human

In a laboratory spill, the virus was unleashed, allowing it to spread rapidly. The Chinese were foolish enough to believe that only their bloodline would be immune to the EX-5249 virus. They were wrong. They were the first to die the slow and gruesome, painful, decay that the virus exacted on its victims. Soon enough the entire Asian Nation was destroyed, while EX-5249 crept towards the European Nations. With the world in complete chaos, Australia had closed it borders indefinitely, always remaining a neutral party to all wars since the last and final Afghanistan War (they had finally developed a suitable army and had made treaty with America to tip the scale). White, Black, Yellow, Reds ... no matter the skin color, they all began to fall to EX-5249, yet a few handful of scientists and military officials, along with a good portion of the more "reputable" civilians, who had survived the previous fallout, were allowed in the isolated island of Australia. There ships were taken to Earth's moon where a secret and underground station had been built for such an Apocalypse by surprisingly, the Canadians.

Project Altas was originally called Project Atlas, after the Greek Mythological God who carried the World upon his back, but after the mispronunciation of it during a HoloCom conference by Dr. Arostimi Tcheva of AH Global Cybernetics, induced the change to Altas. While under the protection and security that the Moon's surface had to offer, another mass ship was being built, Altas in order to find a new Earth to begin life over and anew. It took two hundred years in order to complete the first stage of the project; building the ship. Another twenty was needed in order to properly stock it with the necessary survival means along with genetic codes and embryos to transport animals' and bacterial DNA to the new earth. And while the Earth's crust turned brown and then black beneath its only natural satellite, Luna, the descendants of those that had survived two hundred and twenty years ago, fled into Outer Space in order to seek out a new home.

Triton, New Earth was found fourteen generations later tucked away in the very back of the Kohrii system, so very far away from human's original home. Native Flora and Fauna flourished without intelligent life upon the lush and beautiful blue planet. Where Earth was green, Triton was blue, thus its namesake from Poseidon's famous three-pronged pike; the prongs representing the three continents it held. It was Eden, and Paradise found; Utopia finally grasped. Altas, landed upon the welcoming bosom of Triton and settled in easily to make colonies that held no prejudice nor hate for color of skin or ethnic backgrounds of the people. In two generations, there would only be one race: Altan. They prospered and lived in total, balanced peace after learning a great lesson from the intense history education received on the Altas.

However, Forty-Two Earth years later (Twenty-Two Triton years), a lurking parasite had finally reared up to show its terrifying face. Sleepers, it was named as the foreign and advanced biological make up of these bacterial like creatures struck without being noticed. Those that were afflicted and deemed as suitable host bodies by Sleepers did not know they were invaded and captured by the entity. It gave more reason and cause to their name. Altans who succumbed to the control of Sleepers murdered, raped, and committed suicide without a single notice. Mother, Child, Husband, it did not matter who was chosen by the alien, they would indulge in these horrible crimes, shattering the once-perfect Utopia. A portion of the population boarded Altas XI, and left Triton behind, not wanting to fall victim and be mercilessly tortured by watching all they cared for be ripped to shreds before their very innocent eyes.

They made way back to the Sol System and found Terra.

So begins...

"Oh my Stars! Casper, baby!"

The woman was completely stricken when she saw her "lover" (by forced means) weeping and clenching still to what was between his legs. Kohrii was quick to push people out of her way rudely while rushing to her dear, dear "boyfriend".

"Oh dear God -- No... Noooo!" Casper thought to himself, while attempting to regather himself.
Monika burst into laughter.

Monika grinned and commented on something Shad had said. "Oh nothing will be coming up for a long time to come." She went back to her hysterical laughter. Casper, meanwhile, gave the ComTech a nasty glance while finally standing up straight.

"I am so going to fuck you over one day. This is not the end!"
"Casper, baby, you're always so dramatic. I love it. I love everything about you, sweetie."
"Ugh... something smells horrid."
"Do you like it?! It's my new perfume!"
"Smells like dead animal..."

Kohrii bounced into the bar with a silly smile crossing her lips, and as she makes her way towards the counter, the woman just happened to bump into Fluffles. "Ho, sir! Pardon me!" With a small giggle, Kohrii continued on her way to the counter and propped herself up on a stool.

Kohrii looked over her shoulder as the man finally made a reply to her accident. And it really was an accident. She was about to apologize again before Kohrii noticed the tail. It was furry, and it was adorable. "Oh my stars, what is that! It's so cute!" Gasp. "Can I touch it," the woman exclaimed excitedly while rushing back towards him and bending over at the waist to better study it. A finger was already reaching out to touch the cute little furry tail.

Kohrii followed the furry-tailed man out the door, though she paused right at the exit. "No! You can't just run away and not let me see it! Oh but pretty please, just a small touch!" The NavPol was determined to pet his tail, no matter what it took in order to get that privilege.

Kohrii hitched her breath and frowned deeply while crossing her arms across her large chest. "Well why not?! I want to touch it, and I will do whatever it takes!" The woman was obviously spoiled and got what she wanted, when she wanted it. It was generally the attitude when it came to NavPol's, but usually they were not so childish as Kohrii. They all blamed it on her upbringing though, which didn't make her less intelligent.

Kohrii frowned deeply as he once again denied what she wanted most; to touch his tail. And as that giant snake moved its way in between her and the man, Kohrii scoffed and stepped around until she could see him again. But the man was gone; disappeared to her eyes at least. "That tit of a bastard! How rude to deny a lady what she wishes!"

Kohrii trotted over to the woman that had fallen out of the air? She looked up and squinted at the night sky for a moment before looking back down at Edana Sulell. "Oh my. Are you alright?" She seemed to be particularly concerned, and worried. Kohrii was the type that had to rush to help people at all times. Annoying, but that was her personality.

Kohrii knelt down next to the woman, digging through her purse. "No, no! Don't move! You just had a... a fall? From the sky, which isn't quite normal, but I'll work with it, Miss!" With shaky fingers, Kohrii ended up gathering a hypodermic needle in her hands, and prepared to shove it into Edana Sulell's leg. The NavPol didn't seem like she had too much experience in this sort of business...

Kohrii paused inches above the woman's leg, which if she didn't would have injected the woman with amphetamines. The NavPol really had no idea whatsoever. "Are you sure?" Kohrii blinked a few times, holding her position.

Kohrii was just about to look up too and ask what was wrong with the woman, before she was shoved and tossed aside. Not like it was hard, Kohrii wasn't the most heavy of people, nor was she expecting the sudden action. "Ahh!" Once Kohrii hit the floor, she noticed a sharp pain in her arm, and looked down. "Oh no." The needle was sticking out of her skin.

Kohrii started to cry, or she wanted to at least. She was in too much shock to do much other than to gentle prod the needle which had injected amphetamines into her blood system. "I'm not too... sure?" Truth was, Kohrii didn't know what was in those needles but she always snuck them from SickBay for a friend of hers.

Kohrii squealed, "Don't toooouch it! Oh my Stars that hurts!" Now she was crying, as the needle wasn't just barely hanging out of her skin, but completely embedded all the way into her deep muscle tissue, if not barely edging on bone. Out of instinct, Kohrii had slapped at the woman's hand to stop her from touching her. "Don't, don't touch it!"

"You touched me! And it huuuurt!" The woman said while blinking lazily and swaying around slightly. "Yep, hurt, so... ahhh..." A silly grin spread across Kohrii's lips and she seemed to do nothing but stare off in the distance, heavily focused on something, but nothing at the same time.

Kohrii worked her tongue around on the inside of her mouth while focusing in on Fluffles, and then his tail. Just because of that very concentration on that furry appendage, Kohrii barely noticed the needle being yanked from her arm while she stood up, haphazardly but the NavPol did in the end. Feeling more than euphoric and invincible because of the amphetamines, the Altan started to make her way to Fluffles with grabby fingers. He knew exactly what she was aiming for...

Kohrii clamped down her fingers around that fuzzy, and furry brown tail which just sent wave and wave of more euphoria down her spine. Not like she needed it with the high that was already running through her system at the moment. Needless to say, Kohrii was having a grand time even if blood was seeping down her red starsuit. She didn't care, the Altan didn't feel pain at the moment, but just pure happiness for reasons unknown. "I got you!" Kohrii went into a fit of giggles and began to put the appendage. "Just like a fuzzy kit," she commented; kit meaning kitten in the old earth language.

Kohrii smiled very much so like a child as she held that tail up against her face even when the man slumped down onto his side. "Mmm so soft," Kohrii said while one hand petted the tip of Fluffles tail. It was hardly believable that this drug induce woman was a pure genius at star navigation, and was practically in charge of an entire Altan Fleet of star ships being an officer of the ASF. Kohrii was no better than a twelve year old child. But that's what happened when you were Altan. You didn't get a childhood, and were forced to grow up from the time you were able to learn how to speak. Geniuses were happened across, they were made, and forced to hone their mental capabilities.

Sometimes though, like Kohrii, they clung on to those childish traits.

"Ho, lady! Why you gots to be so mean, eh? Gots nothing better to do, yeah?" Kohrii slipped into the fleet training slang that the children there used. Her hands came off the tail, from the other woman's grasping, which just angered Kohrii. Hands were shoved onto her hips, and the NavPol just stared something nasty at Edana. "You be a right mean Sleeper, you is."

"Oh you bets yous I just did, lady." She lifted up the elbow-hand and flipped her off with that one too. Now there were two middle fingers saluting to the stranger, while the feeling of invincibility just poured through her veins. No one could stop her. No on--

"Oh dear Stars, am I really seeing this?" A man from the sidelines, approaching the bar asked, disbelieving. It was Casper, and Kohrii noticed this immediately. She squealed and hugged herself while bouncing on the tips of her toes, stepping a few times on Fluffles tail.

"Darling," she called out to him.
Casper could have facepalmed.

Kohrii turned around and arched a brow, after looking up from her NavDev. It was the voice that was familiar to her and then the mention of a tail. She remembered all too well that man from yesterday that had the genetic mutation.

"Fluffy!"

It wasn't his name, and Kohrii had no idea what the man's name really was, but it had been decided in her mind last night that she was going to call him this from now on, just because of that tail. Kohrii thought it rather cute, and it made her happy to call him such.

Before Fluffles would be able to do much, Kohrii had already crossed over the bar and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, squishing the tail in between them.

Kohrii squealed ever so happily and bounced on the balls of her feet, which would probably put some discomfort on Fluffles. After all, the woman was quite attractive and had, well, a large chest to say in the least. If Kohrii stopped acting so childish, she would have been a bombshell.

"Ahh, Fluffly, you're so cute. Destroy me with love? I dunno what to say!"

Of course she would warp his words, or maybe it was selective hearing. There really was no telling when it came to Kohrii. Still bouncing, that hair too, the woman just clung to him far too excited than anyone really should be to see someone they barely knew. But the Altan was just odd like that.

Kohrii was on the very tips of her toes at the apex of a bounce when Fluffles had thrown himself forward. Of course her natural reaction was to cling even more tightly to whatever was available at the time, and that happened to still be him. But this time, not only would Kohrii's arms be wrapped around him, those long legs of hers did as well. This left them to topple to the floor in a most suspicious position.

Kohrii's back and upper shoulders had taken most of the fall, shooting pain down her spine, and forced a cry from her lips. A terrible ringing sound exploded in her ears and the woman was dazed as she stared up at the ceiling. Why was she staring at the ceiling? It was all so confusing, but the pain was not. Had Kohrii known the reason of the fall, she would have been upset, but the Altan had the personality that never faulted another person. She assumed it was an accident.

Kohrii groaned and whined about the pain from the fall while clinging to her "friend" though that seemed to be more one sided than anything else. Her annoyance would be silenced soon enough as a hand came into her face. It was not like she knew who's it was, only that Kohrii was becoming more and more frightened. She had fallen, the lights went out, someone was touching her, and then a scream. Kohrii screamed herself, and clung as tightly to the man as she could.

It was the apex of her strength too, but uncomparable to anything around her. Altans were humans, and thus all Kohrii's limitations of a physical nature were limited to those bounds. Yet, when the situation arose, adrenaline could bolster and heighten those physical attributes they held. She was at her strongest, holding to the Sayian, but it was pale compared to what else lay around in the dark room.

"Nooo! I so scared, Fluffy! Yous supposed to protect me!" Kohrii said, slipping into Battle Room slang.
