An Asian nurse stood at the door, dark glasses obscuring her eyes. "There's a phone call intended for this room." The woman said, "Something's wrong with the line." She continued.

"Is there a... Casper here?" The nursed asked.

"This way." The nurse told Casper as she walked off, "I can have the call redirected to an empty room if you think you might need privacy." The nurse told Casper as she lead him along.

"They called all the way up here for you, it must be important." The woman continued.

"In here." The nurse told Casper, stopping at an empty room. "This one." She said, pushing the door open.

"The call will be transferred to that line in a bit, I'll let you know when you can pick it up." The nurse told Casper with a smile.

After having left Vogel Bar, Bryson hailed a cab and gave him an approximate address to his location. He was dropped off at 1900 East Sol Avenue and after paying the cabbie, waited until the man had turned the corner before proceeding to his intended target. It didn’t take him long to get to 1939 and he stopped in front of it, peering cautiously at the apartment building. If this was a trap, he wouldn’t know until he got on, but surely it wouldn’t be, right? Shaking his head, Bryson made his way inside of the building and looked for the correct apartment.

Alright, just be calm and don’t say anything sarcastic. Apparently that type of attitude isn’t the norm around here or something.

Nodding at his internal dialogue, Bryson knocked on the door of Apartment 3. Once he knocked, he moved back a little and held his hands to his side, palms facing the door so that they could see he wasn’t holding a weapon. He figured showing that he was harmless was the best in this type of situation, though of course, he wasn’t as harmless as he seemed, but hopefully it wouldn’t come down to that.

The apartment door across the hall from Li's apartment would swing open, a clearly female figure standing in the doorframe with a pistol raised towards Bryson. Her face covered by a pair of dark shades and a purple bandana. She didn't say a word, she just kept her weapon trained on Bryson.

"I had to be sure there wasn't an SRU team on the way." She finally told him, "The door's open. Go ahead." The armed woman said as she began to lower her pistol. It was clear that these weren't the kind of criminals you saw in the movies. Li, Melinda, and their other cohorts were savvy enough to try their luck but weren't trigger happy.

"Let's talk business."

Bryson prided himself on being prepared for anything that might happen, but even he wasn’t expecting the door behind him to open. Spinning around, he kept his hands in front of him, making it obvious that he had nothing in them. Staring at the pistol, he kept his face blank, though it was apparent in his eyes that he was not exactly happy with having it pointed at him. He instead studied the woman, or at least what he could see of her and hoped this was the Miss Li he was searching for. If not, he was going to bust open some skulls. He wasn’t familiar with the SRU term, but kept his questions to himself. No need to make her ask him stupid questions. He just wanted to get to the point and get to the nearest strip club or brother and bang some bitches.

Nodding, Bryson turned back around and entered Apartment 3, moving inside cautiously. He looked around for anyone hiding and once he was mostly sure it was clear, turned to face Miss Li. Grateful when she got right now to the meat of things, he reached into his inner jacket and pulled out the envelope, his blue eyes twinkling in what little light there happened to be. To say he was a ladies man was putting it mildly, but there was no way he was going to attempt to hit on her. She would probably shoot him in the balls and then make him eat his own package. No, he kept all suave comments to himself.

“My employer seeks you for a job, Miss Li. I am assuming that is who you are? Anyways, he has it all explained in a letter and inside this envelope is that letter and a starter fee. Money is no object to him.” As Bryson handed over the package, he couldn’t help but wonder what was in the letter. “I am to take word back as to whether or not you accept his terms.”

The woman removed her disguise with one hand as she entered the room behind Bryson, her other hand still holding the gun. She wasn't quite ready to put it down, not until things were squared and Bryson was gone. She just met the guy, she couldn't really trust that he, or his employer, wasn't playing a dangerous game.

The employer could be making a play for something. Money, power, anything. Bryson could be making a play for his freedom, or his employer's place. Li didn't know, she was just a pawn if there was anything going on. Not that she really cared, she liked money. And she needed it.

She grabbed the envelope from Bryson, tucking her gun into her waistband so that she had both hands to open it. "We'll see." She said, "I need a little extra work."

Bryson tried his best to ignore the fact that she not only had her gun still in her hand, but also had removed whatever disguise she had been wearing previously. He would have not known the difference, but perhaps it was a good sign that she trusted him; or maybe not. He was growing impatient and was glad when she took the envelope from him. The urge to open it up was growing as each minute had ticked by since the moment he received it and Bryson was pretty sure his resistance was growing weaker.

Making sure not to move when she placed her gun in her waistband, Bryson instead studied her like a predator would their prey. Only, he wasn’t wanting to eat her; at least not in the sense of a carnivore. He wouldn’t mind doing other things to her though. Logic dictated that doing anything would a very bad idea, so to keep himself from being shot or disemboweled, he kept his thoughts and potentially leering looks to himself. He would just take it out on another broad later on once he was finished up here.

“I am not sure what’s in the letter, but I’m sure it’ll be enough to keep you busy for at least a while.” Remaining where he was at, the blonde resisted the urge to move forward to read the letter over her shoulder. While doing so would allow him to inhale her scent and perhaps accidentally touch other body parts, it might also end in his death. So, despite the longing to see what was beneath the clothing, Bryson didn’t budge.

The Chinese woman looked up from the envelope to get a good look at Bryson. There was something off about him that made her uncomfortable. Her furst guess was that he was a drug addict. Second guess was that he was an alcoholic. Her third guess was that maybe he wasn't looking to die if she turned out to be a nutcase.

Too young to die. A lot to live for. That's the kind of guy he might have been.

"Yeah, I have too much free time." Li said to Bryson, using a foot to shut the apartment door as she ripped the letter from the enveolpe and opened it up to give it a read.

“Well, I’m sure I can help you fill your free time with something more enjoyable, if you’d like?” Bryson smiled his best ladies killer smile before shrugging a little.

Hopefully she didn’t take offense to that. He didn’t really want to die because he couldn’t keep a hold of his overacting libido, but man, he seriously needed some satisfaction sooner than later and if she would give it to him, then why not? If not, well, that was fine too, he wasn’t going to force her to do anything she didn’t want to do. Hell, she could probably snap his spine with just a kick; her body looked to be in amazing shape, and she was probably super flexible. Shaking his head a little at his thoughts, he ran a few fingers through his blonde locks, shifting a little as she began to read the letter.

He hoped she made her decision sooner than later because his boss was going to be calling soon and if he didn’t have an answer, bones were going to be broken. He just hoped it wasn’t his bones that were snapped because other than being painful, it would keep him from satisfying his sexual urges. But, on the other hand, he didn’t want to rush this beautiful specimen because she might get mad and shoot him. That too would be painful and would keep him from doing what he wanted. Then again, most nurses were pretty hot and he could probably get a sympathy lay. No, it was best to exert some form of patience and wait for her answer.

The Asian woman looked up from the letter to Bryson, shaking her head at the man. "I'm not interested." She said, tossing the letter to the side. She reached into the envelope and slipped the money out, tucking it into a pocket before she headed to the apartment's door. She opened it up, stepping aside fro Bryson to step out.

"In you, that is." She said, "I'll take the job. But, I can find my own enjoyment when I wish to." Li said to Bryson, clearly rejecting any advances the man had man or planned to make. She wanted to keep things professional with him and his employer.

When she first said she wasn’t interested, Bryson felt his chest tighten. What did she mean she wasn’t interested?! No, that just wasn’t an acceptable answer! What made things even worse was that she took the money out of the envelope and put it into her pocket before walking to the door and opening it. Since she stepped to the side, he got the hint that she wanted him to leave, but how could he do that? No! He had to convince her to change her mind, somehow! When she finally clarified what she meant, Bryson let out a nervous laugh, his hand once again sliding through his blonde hair. Thank goodness she was accepting the job, though he was disappointed that she didn’t want to date him. Well, her loss.

“Excellent! I will relay the information to my boss. I’m sure he told you how to get a hold of him in the letter and if he didn’t, here’s my card.” Sliding a hand into his pocket, he pulled out a single card with his name on it with a number listed below.

“Bossman wants as little involvement in this until possible until his target is acquired. Oh, one last thing. I’m sure I don’t have to say this, but this individual needs to be delivered alive and unharmed. No stab wounds, no gashes, and no gunshots. Bruises and broken bones are fine, if it couldn’t be helped.” Stepping out into the hallway, he smiled and nodded before making his way back down to the street and hailing a cab. Slipping inside, he gave directions to the nearest brothel or strip club, whichever and sat back, quite pleased with how things turned out. Shooting off a text to an unnamed number, he simply put three words down; she is in.

It took her a few hours to finally get enough energy to get off the ground. Her body ached immensely and she had to lip a few blocks before finding a store where she could buy some first aid supplies. Wrapping up her injured ankle, she nodded in satisfaction before heading back down the street. She didn’t want to go to the bar, not yet, so Gabrielle continued walking despite how much pain it was causing her. Her fingers slid through her brunette hair as she limped and she tried to ignore the fact that the back of one of her black thigh-high boots was now ruined thanks to Bo’s claw. Sighing, she also had to ignore the fact that her normally pristine clothing was dirty and looked like she had been in a fight, which of course she had. Well, at least most of the damage was done to her black metallic jacket and her black pants, but the front of her red wife-beater was beat up too.

“…Damn it.” One of her hands slid down to rest against her ribs and she couldn’t help but hope they weren’t broken. Part of her wanted to go to the emergency room, but they would call her sister and right now, she had no desire to speak to Renée or to listen to her lectures. To say she was irritated was most definitely putting it mildly.

A dark green motorcycle made it's way down the street at a brisk pace, slowing even further when it's rider spotted Grabrielle. The rider was a woman, a black helmet covering her head and a black leather riding suit covering her body. "Are you okay?" The woman asked, accent very American as she came to a stop.approaching Gabrielle.

"You seem like you've been through hell. Or a messy breakup." The woman said, lifting her helmet's visor to reveal only her eyes. They were clearly Asian, but the rest of her features werestill very hidden.

"I can give you a lift to a free clinic or something." The woman offered, "Better than walking around Wing City, right?"

Gabrielle realized that she would need to figure out where to go sooner or later, because as much as she wanted to, she wouldn’t be able to keep walking forever. The idea of going home still wasn’t appealing, but it wasn’t like it was safe walking alone. Grumbling beneath her breath, she glanced over her shoulder as she heard a motorcycle slowing down, the sound indicating that it was nearing her location. Peering at it, she couldn’t help but note how pretty the green on it looked. Pausing in her walking or rather, limping, Gabby tilted her head when asked if she was okay,

“Eeeh, yes, I’m fine, thank you. Let’s just say you should see the other person.” She knew better than to talk to strange people especially those that stopped at random people to ask if they were okay. It was impossible to study the female because she was wearing a helmet and one couldn’t gather enough information by just looking at her eyes, so Gabrielle decided it was probably time to move on. When offered a ride, the sixteen-year-old just shook her head,

“No thanks, I’ll be alright. Thanks anyways.” Gabrielle turned, beginning to limp away again.

"You say that, but you're a young girl limping down a street in Wing City." The woman noted, "At least let me call you an ambulance, or pay for a cab." The woman said to Gabrielle, hitting the gas on her bike enough to keep pace with the teenager. "I will eventually take no for an answer, but you're really hurt."

"You need money for a payphone?" She asked, "I can call an ambulance for you, I have a phone." The woman noted, "Or, you can use it. It's your choice, just get some help."

“I’ve been in worse situations, really. I don’t need an ambulance or a cab, I promise.” Gabrielle was starting to feel paranoid with the woman continuing to follow her on the bike. Glancing around, she wondered if she could flee, but realized that would be stupid since the other female was on a motorcycle and she was injured. Making a mental note to have Bo de-clawed, Gabby paused in mid-step, looking at the biker again.

“I’ve got a cell phone, so I’m fine. Really, you don’t need to worry about me. In fact, I’m super close to my home.” Sure, it was a white lie, but no one needed to know that.

"Are you sure?" The woman asked, "I won't press the issue. If you're sure you'll be fine I'm going to get going." She said, "Find a clinic, or someone with some sort of medical experience. You need to at least get looked at now." The woman said, closing her helmet's visor. "Take care." She said, pressing the gas and sending her bike flying up the street.

The motorcycle rounded a corner, seemingly disappearing somewhere into the city.

Gabrielle just nodded at the female, thankful that she wasn’t pressing the matter. Waiting until she turned the corner, the brunette resumed her limping, deciding it might be wise to head towards Gambit’s after all. Sure, the biker might have been harmless, but what if she wasn’t? Shaking her head, Gabby just rolled her eyes and shoved her hands down into her pockets. Today was sucking on all kinds of levels. First she lost that fight in the bar and then that guy wouldn’t train her because of who her father was, and then she and Bo got into a scuffle and well, it didn’t go well either.

“This sucks.” Grumbling under her breath, she turned the corner, making her way towards the bar, though she was still quite a ways away.

As Gabrielle walked, she would notice the motorcycle she had seen earlier was parked outside of a pool hall up the street. Apparently she didn't have too far to go to reach her destination. The rider herself was nowhere in sight, so it was safe to assume she was inside playing pool or getting a drink.

The assumption would be very wrong when the woman stepped out from a building to get behind the teenaged girl. The rider, still wearing her helmet to hide her features from any cameras or any bystanders, quickly began to approach Gabrielle from behind. She pulled down on the black gloves she wore, making sure they were snug on her hands.

When the woman got close enough she lunged for Gabrielle, attempting to put her gloved hands over the young woman's mouth. Her gloves were coated with different chemicals, all meant to sedate Gabrielle and put her to sleep for at least a half hour. Long enough to get her where the motorcycle riding woman wanted.

Gabrielle shoved her brunette hair out of her lavender eyes as she continued to walk towards Gambit’s. She was beginning to realize just how far away she was and debated on calling a cab. Pausing in mid-limp, she took note of the green motorcycle from before near a pool hall and just arched a brow. Should she stop and ask the biker to take her home? No, that woman was a stranger and gave her a strange feeling. Beginning to walk again, she reached a hand down into her pocket and pulled out her cell. Dialing up the cab company, she listened to the phone ringing and waited for an answer.

“Yes, this is Gabrielle LeBeau, I need a cab. My location? Erm… I’m by the pool hall in Eastern Wing City. Yes, that’s right. Okay, thanks.” Gabrielle hung up the cell just as she heard someone approaching behind her.

Screaming out the moment hands wrapped around her body, she fought to get them away from her mouth, the cell dropping to the ground in the process. Grabbing for her necklace, she hit the button that went straight to Norrington and then the one that went straight to Jegun’s pager. In the scuffle, the necklace was also ripped off and as she was grabbing for it, she felt the effects of whatever was on the gloves take hold. Dropping down limply, she just groaned, her body finally giving up on breaking free.

The woman placed Gabrielle down carefully on the sidewalk, reaching down to one of the boots she wore. She dug her gloved inside the boot, slipping out a cellphone. The woman raised her helmet's visor with one hand, using the other to dial a number. "I've got her." The woman said into the phone, "Down from that pool hall on the east side." She continued.

"Alright, be quick." The woman said, hanging up the phone and almost immediately tossing it into the street. She kneeled down beside Gabrielle, searching the teenager for money, some sort of ID, and anything electronic. The last she needed was to be found because Gabrielle's iWhatever had a GPS in it in case it got lost or stolen.

As the woman did this, a van approached. It's side doors slid open to reveal a few men, all wearing masks to obscure their faces just as the motorcycle rider was doing her helmet. If anyone was watching and had called the police from the safety of their apartments, it was better for the kidnappers if they didn't have much information to give the law.

"Help me get her in the van." The woman said to the men, one climbing out to help her lift Gabrielle into the vehicle.

"Come on." Li called out to the grey van pulling into the garage she stood inside. It was connected to a building The Tauron Mob owned that Li had leased out from them to store vehicles and sometimes weapons in. No one would come looking for a female Asian assassin in Little Tauron.

The van stopped behind Li, the woman approaching a switch on a wall and slamming her palm against it. Slowly the garage door began to close, giving Li and her allies some privacy from the outside world.

"Bind her hands and feet together, belly down." Li told the masked men as they began to leave the van. One of the men produce a pair of handcuffs, moving in to cuff Gabrielle's hands behind her back while he had the chance. No one but Li knew when the girl might wake up. Her hired thugs weren't exactly chemists or well-versed in drugs.

"Hurry up." Li continued.

Gabrielle groaned, starting to wake back up. The last thing she remembered was calling for a cab and something about a motorcycle and hands. Also, something about her panic necklace, but if she was remembering right, it got ripped off and was lying on the ground with her cell phone. It took her a couple of minutes to realize she wasn’t on the ground, but was in a vehicle or something. To make matters worse, her hands were being yanked behind her. Snarling, she slid open her eyes and struggled to get free, trying to grab for one of her short swords that were tucked in vambraces beneath her jacket.

“LEMME, GO, YOU DOLTS!” Gabrielle screamed at the top of her lungs, beginning to really struggle against whoever it was that had a hold of her. Surely this was some kind of prank or joke, right? She had almost been kidnapped before, but that was by Norrington. Something told her this wasn’t the same type of situation. Growling, she kicked her feet around, still attempting to get to her swords or at least her playing cards.

“YOU ARE GONNA REGRET DIS! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!” She screamed even louder, yelling for help.

"Shut up!" The thug trying to handcuff Gabrielle shouted at her, "Come help me." He said to the others, still trying to force the teenager's hands behind her back. When he noticed what she was reaching for, the man brought a hand up and then down towards Gabrielle's face to hit her.

The other two men went to hop back into the van, their combined strength on Gabrielle was hopefully enough to keep her still so that she could be cuffed.

The van's driver climbed out, shaking his head at the display before he turned his attention to Li. He was a black man with a head of long dreadlocks, a cigarette barely hanging in his mouth. "Yo, I did my part. I'm looking to get paid." He told Li.

"Yeah, here you go." Li said to the man, bending over to dig out a stack of money from her boot. The woman slipped a few bills out of the stack, handing them to the driver. "For your trouble. I might need you again, stay close to you phone." She told the man, "Looking forward to taking more of your money for driving from point A to point B." The man responded to Li.

"It's never that simple for long." Li informed the driver, "But it's that simple now." The driver said, heading for a door that lead into the building the garage was connected to. "I'll see you around." He said, disappearing behind the door when he stepped through it.

"How's it going with the girl?" Li asked the remaining men, "Hurry up."
